Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aplicação da análise de viabilidade econômica e financeira para venda de casas em um condomínio residencial no interior do Amazonas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-08-18) SILVA, Aline Souza da; BATISTA, Clauderino da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1345689043203622Civil Construction was one of the sectors that had the greatest negative impact since the last economic crisis in 2014, in which it closed more than 100 thousand jobs, and consequently, the situation was much more alarming, as there was a worsening in the following three years; however, there was a slight hike in 2018, with the help of the reduction in the Selic rate, in which people withdrew their money from investments that did not have as much income and invested in residential or commercial properties. In this way, new investments will be made possible, be they commercial or residential projects, creation of construction sites, hiring of personnel, machinery and material. Therefore, this work aims to apply the analysis of economic and financial feasibility in a residential condominium in the municipality of Iranduba, in the interior of Amazonas; showing the details of the project, and the costs involved in the elaboration; analyzing the economic and financial risk indicators; presenting cash flow, EBITDA, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (TIR) and Payback to identify and evaluate the viability of the project; demonstrate possible flaws in the execution of the project. Starting from a feasibility study, using as a method, an applied and quali-quantitative research; bibliographic surveys, analysis and data analysis. Data were collected at the construction company and developer in the development and new business sector. The results showed that the project studied is economically viable and offers great potential. A simulation was carried out with the sale of all units of the project until the thirtieth month of execution, that is, until the completion of the work. The commercialization hypothesis resulted in a NPV of R$3,542,284.98, IRR of 34.27% p.a., simple payback with return on investment in the 26th month of execution and profitability index of 1.10. Based on these data, it was possible to carry out the application of economic feasibility indicators in the project's cash flow in order to verify the return on investment. The scenarios proved to be profitable and consistent in terms of their financial health and an interesting alternative for the investor, since all the methods of analysis applied showed a very positive result over the monthly periods analyzed, indicating a reasonably quick financial return.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cidades inteligentes: principais rankings e propostas de melhoria para São Luís, Maranhão(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-12-11) COSTA, Belisa Souza; BATISTA, Clauderino da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1345689043203622The concept of smart city has been spread, nowadays, as an adequate place for people to live, where technological resources cooperate with each other to generate well-being, social inclusion and participation of its inhabitants, in addition to the sustainability of the environment, and where there is sustainable growth, monitoring and integration of all infrastructure components; it is up to governments to optimize resources, preventive maintenance, ensuring security, while maximizing their services to citizens. There are international indexes that measure the level of development of cities, using criteria and dimensions that are very similar, although not all indexes use the same criteria and dimensions. Objetives: the present work is configured as an analysis of the main rankings that measure the conditions of the cities and classifies them as to the position between smart cities, aiming at improvement proposals for the city of São Luís, facing the reality of these cities, seeking quality of life, sustainability and respect for the environment. Methods: It uses the city of Curitiba as a national reference, considered first in 2018, in the Connected Smart Cities Ranking, while São Luís was not among the analyzed positions. Results: An intervention plan is proposed in order to make São Luís more competitive in terms of its classification as a smart and sustainable city, in the items urban mobility, environment, health, technology and innovation, and security. These items were consolidated in three strategic lines to organize the proposed interventions: Management x of public administration; Management of basic sanitation in a broad sense; Adequacy of the use of the territory and the relationships between the natural and the built environment, as well as their interferences on mobility in the municipality; in addition to the transversal theme of energy management, as a way of encouraging the generation of jobs and income, reduction of municipal public spending (public lighting, energy spent in the areas of health and education), combined with the application of sustainable practices and environmental sanitation. Conclusion: It was concluded that it is possible to transform São Luís into a smart and sustenaible city, through the proposed intervention plan, with investments and partnerships in order to achieve these goals, improving the quality of life of its inhabitants.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Detecção de falhas no processo de comunicação e análise dos impactos sobre a segurança de vôo pelo controle de tráfego aéreo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-05-07) LIMA, Robervandro Silva de; BATISTA, Clauderino da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1345689043203622; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8506-4534It is known that communication, despite the technological advances still presents numerous bottlenecks that can compromise the safety of the air traffic acted by pilot and control; and pilot and other aircraft. However, this process is more complex because it involves aspects of communication related to language, language understanding, ambiguity, uncertain reference, implicit inference, homophony, intonation, repetition (or comparison), and so on. The present dissertation aims to analyze the alternatives for detecting failures in the communication process and the impacts on flight safety by air traffic control. Thus, it should be emphasized that the objective of this work is to analyze the communication process and its failures in air traffic control and to propose devices to detect these faults in a preventive way in order to reduce the impacts on flight safety. Therefore, it is extremely important to propose a communication failure detection, reducing possible risks that can lead to air accidents. Despite this technology applied in the communication system between ground control stations, the communication model used between controllers and pilots, is still a segment that needs a lot of attention and new ways of improving the communicative process, which still has outdated characteristics and which generates negative influence of the several elements described in the communication models to be studied. Its methodology has a bibliographic nature with an experimental proposal.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Implementação do lean manufacturing em uma oficina de recuperação de componentes localizada em uma empresa do setor de mineração - São Luís - MA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-01-28) MENDES, Claudia Gonçalves; BATISTA, Clauderino da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1345689043203622The success of a company in a competitive and globalized market is in the ability to identify and eliminate waste, reduce costs, add value to the customer, stabilize, innovate and continuously improve its processes. This justifies the performance of work in which with the growing scarcity of resources and the need to improve maintenance processes, it is sought to plan and improve activities in order to obtain a quality product satisfying the company's customers and employees, the more efficient is the planning and scheduling of maintenance, the lower the rates of rework and unscheduled maintenance. The objectives demonstrate the application of Lean Manufacturing tools in a Component Recovery Workshop located at the Ponta da Madeira Port Terminal -TPPM in São Luís in Maranhão. Among the methodologies addressed, this research has a qualitative character because it is centered on the reality of the company, in addition to being bibliographic, documentary because existing data are used, the data collected are predominantly descriptive, the researcher's interest when studying a particular problem is to verify how it manifests itself in daily activities, procedures and interactions, data analysis tends to follow an inductive process. The results obtained thus evidencing continuous improvement works aimed at operational excellence, training of several teams in various processes, elimination of waste and results aimed at financial gain. There were also defenses of new investments for the Workshop with new technologies positively impacting productivityItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Percepção de profissionais da segurança pública sobre a cadeia de custódia no estado do Amazonas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-05-05) MARQUES, Thiago Soares; BATISTA, Clauderino da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1345689043203622; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8506-4534The objective of this research is to highlight the indispensability of the chain of custody in relation to ballistic evidence, since, in the case of criminal proceedings, it is essential to present evidence and, for this, it must be ensured that it is properly protected, packaged and analyzed, a process that is carried out through the chain of custody. It was also sought to verify if the professionals involved in this process are able to carry it out properly and, therefore, data collection was carried out through a questionnaire with workers from the Public Security Department of the State of Amazonas. The results demonstrate that a portion, even if small, of the participants do not fully understand where the chain of custody starts and/or how to deal with ballistic evidence. The questionnaire also portrayed the difficulties faced by workers in Manaus, as it allowed them to report their perceptions regarding working conditions, which are often deficient. Therefore, it was concluded that apparently simple vices with ballistic evidence and its chain of custody process can compromise its authenticity, causing impunity caused by contesting its validity in criminal cases.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Processo de planejamento e programação de manutenção em uma empresa de mineração em São Luís do Maranhão: estudo de caso(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-07-30) PENHA, Daniele Costa; BATISTA, Clauderino da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1345689043203622; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8506-4534; VIEGAS, Bruno Marques; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1196600058247902The planning and programming of major maintenance or general reviews (Major Overhaul) aims to identify needs, coordinate activities and plan resources. Detailed and efficient planning provides compliance with the deadlines and optimal maintenance criteria allowing the equipment to be maintained with minimal incident or accidents, thus avoiding the occurrence of large operational and financial losses for the entire plant. Thus, the present work was structured in the type of exploratory research that aimed to understand the standardization of planning and scheduling processes of a large maintenance stop of the bauxite mill that is inserted in the Bayer process, alumina's production process, using a planning and control tool. It sought to carry out preliminary studies, aiming at structuring the context. The results obtained from the development of this work affirm that project management to obtain control over maintenance is the best way to improve and quality, once effectively performed, maximizes the reliability and predictability of prevention and correction actions, safety, as well as the resources necessary for the execution of these actions. Another factor of great importance is the gains from mappings and controls, whether from planning deliveries, resources and documentation. Thus, from the development of this research it was possible to collect a set of lessons learned to be used in the next major industrial maintenance stops, as wellix as the opportunities difficulties in performing pre-stop activities of the equipment, occurring some delays and also the inclusion of some activities and improvements during the project.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Reflorestamento e recuperação de áreas degradadas na bacia hidrográfica do Tarumã-Açu e sua contribuição na redução dos gases efeito estufa.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-09-14) VERAS, Eliana da Conceição Rodrigues; BATISTA, Clauderino da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1345689043203622The recovery of degraded areas becomes a major factor in reducing global warming, making it necessary for the reforestation process to go through a selection plan for species with the greatest potential for development in adverse conditions. The objective of the research is to investigate the survival and mortality index of fruit species, planted in a degraded area in the Tarumã-Açu-BHT Hydrographic Basin, and the estimate of carbon fixation in the period of 20 years. The methodology adopted is participant observation, with analysis of 500 seedlings of fruit species of cashew (anacardium western), 500 of ingá (ingá edulis), 500 of buriti (mauritia flexuosa) and 500 seedlings of açaí (euterpe oleracea) totaling 2000 seedlings analyzed for survival and mortality. Mapping the area through GPS - Global Position System, photographic record, bibliographic review through consultation in dissertations, theses, articles and books related to the topic, satellite images, topographic maps and pre-existing maps were used. Still as a methodology, it was defined that the percentage of mortality acceptable for the continuation of the reforestation process is up to 20%. The selection and monitoring of seedlings takes place in the period from 2015 to 2019, obtaining a result of 84.8% survival of the mauritia flexuosa, 87.2% of the euterpe oleracea, 87% of Ingá Edulis and 100% of the western anacardium. All species analyzed were below the defined percentage, which means that the proposed objectives were well met. For the analysis of carbon fixation, the lowest and highest index found in the literature was used, where the authors define that the lowest fixation index is 7.1 kg of CO₂ for each tree / year and the highest is 15, 6 kg of CO₂, where a single tree can absorb between 142 kg and 312 kg of CO₂ in 20 years. The carbon sequestration carried out by the planted trees contributes to reducing the concentration of greenhouse gases.
