Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise da implementação dos elementos e ferramentas da produção enxuta em canteiros de obras na cidade de Belém do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-06-14) CRUZ, Cássio Cleidsen Rabelo; LIMA, Adalberto da Cruz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7803369097132222Companies of construction industry in Belem, they are looking for ways to improve their processes and constructive methods through the implementation of the elements and tools of lean production system. The purpose of this work consisted to assess the cases of successes and failure, through of an exploratory study of the implementation of the Lean Production System in construction sites in the city of Belem of Para, to identify which elements and tools of this system are most commonly used in construction of the city in question. This way, an extensive research literature about the subject, showing historical developments since the creation of scientific administration, emphasizing the precursors of production administration and then reporting the emergence of lean production system, as well as their origins and pillars, highlighting its elements and tools. The research methodology used was case study of exploratory character, where the focus was managers that act applying lean production in their construction works. The data was collected through a questionnaire with the classification of questions, closed and multiple choices, consisting of twenty objective questions, in order to generate data to answer the research question. After collecting data were generated tables and graphics for analysis of results. The results analyzed pointed elements and tools lean more used, in addition to presenting the greatest difficulties in the implementation of lean production system, and then was made a correlation between difficulties encountered with the relevant literature. From this, it was concluded that companies are not fully committed with the implementation of improvements (lean production system), so that this demotivates workers and creates resistance to change.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Construção fragmentada: uma análise gerencial dos processos construtivos do complexo de prédios do Instituto de Educação Matemática e Científica (IEMCI) da UFPA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-01-22) BORDALO, Rosa Helena Coutinho; LIMA, Adalberto da Cruz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7803369097132222In recent years the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), among other important precautions, has invested significantly in the restructuring and expansion of its campi, the construction of new buildings, expansion and renovation of the existing ones. As in most IFES, however, the UFPA has no structure or enough time for the responsible technical crew to manage and develop constructive project execution, monitor and supervise the construction works and maintenance. The objective of this study is to make a management analyze of the construction processes at the UFPA, on the basis of the complex of buildings of the Institute of Mathematics and Science Education (IEMCI), aiming the identification and minimization of the problems presented along its flow. To do so, through a case study of the administrative procedures and other documents related to the construction of the various modules that make up the Institute, with the data collection of all the performed works, and conducting interviews, based on the Campos's model (2011), to everyone involved in the process. After analyzing the results, the conclusion was that a lack of planning and effective management of constructive processes produced several problems, among them, incomplete and flawed projects, leading to fragmented construction. The construction executed through stages cost 35.19% more than if it was performed in one step and in its entirety. And as the term, this increase was even greater, reaching 283%. Concluding that the interveners caused by fragmentation, seriously influenced on the deadline and the final cost of the construction.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Fluxo contínuo: ferramenta do Sistema de Produção Enxuta aplicado ao processo de produção de estacas pré-moldadas de concreto para fundações(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-07-03) BARBOSA, Christiane Lima; LIMA, Adalberto da Cruz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7803369097132222This work aimed at the implementation of continuous flow in the production of piles of pré-cast concrete for foundation, based on Lean Production System. Principles governing the lean production, elimination of waste and value stream mapping in a real situation were used to obtain results of this application, showing a lean transformation, with significant reductions in waste generated in the production process of the cutting handle. The research period was eight months in a private company, which through the use of tools such system and methodology of action research, it was possible to identify the critical process – locksmiths – where to focus the actions of improvement, with the change of layout, reduction of waste and creation of a unit production, encouraging the application of continuous flow in the production chain. In developing the survey, were conducted on-site training with the future operators of the cell locksmiths, who participated actively in promoting improvements. The result of the implementation of the continuum is the sequencing of production by means of cell layout and synchronizing the supply chain supermarkets. The determination of the takt time of 14 minutes, the size of Pichi and the new layout for the cell, have reduced by 80% to move down the factory, 15% of total earning of area, decrease of 66,5% in the displacement of locksmiths. These changes have benefited the other two stages of the process (hardware and concrete) also in the reduction of waste with drives. As a result, we obtained a clear flow of information through the supermarket inside the cell of production, the establishment of a flow of material and people without interruptions, promoting the implementation of continuous flow. However, creating the continuous flow in the production of piles of pre-cast concrete, in a private company, depends on organizational factors on the managerial style, commitment and delegation of powers, since the immediate interruption of the production process in the event of problems, only became possible through the intervention of the general management, hampering the pursuit of improvements in the production line as the other processes.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Implementação de células móveis de produção alinhadas com a técnica de linha de balanço para melhorias dos processos produtivos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-12-21) UGULINO, Janilton Maciel; LIMA, Adalberto da Cruz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7803369097132222In this work we presented the result of an exploratory study investigating the insert in a horizontal work the application of the concept of "production mobile cell" for the Civil Construction. This research was conducted in an evolutionary process between a work of vertical and horizontal features; The study was addressed for production mobile cells, that is to say, cells that retains all the characteristics of the cell of traditional manufacture, even so with the characteristic of the mobility through the product, the work compares like this and it illustrates the results obtained with this form of the workers' organization before the productivity data and cost originating from of works executed previously.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Pesquisas acadêmicas sobre gestão da qualidade na construção civil brasileira: uma revisão sistemática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-27) NAGATA, Celso Shigueru; LIMA, Adalberto da Cruz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7803369097132222The general objective of this work was to map the academic research undertaken in postgraduate programs recommended or recognized by CAPES on the theme "quality management" in the context of civil works construction companies in Brazil, in the period from January 2003 to June 2012. This work was motivated by the necessity to know the latest developments on quality management in the Brazilian construction industry. The methodology called systematic review was used for the selection of papers, resulting in a set of thirteen (13) works and, after collection, content analysis was performed. The picture obtained as a result of the analysis revealed that the research about the topic were developed almost exclusively in programs of Southeastern Brazil (being only one study from the South), only using qualitative approaches such as case studies and action research and generating new knowledge as the main practical contributions in the form of guidelines or recommendations and models for specific situations. Further contributions include understanding the effects that changes in the internal and external environments cause to the construction companies The mapping also showed that the amount of research conducted evolves almost in a stable way with an average of 1.3 works per year. Finally, several research gaps and opportunities for further research on the topic analyzed were listed.
