Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Antagonismos e proximades entre a filosofia de Nietzsche e a filosofia de Platão(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-11-09) ARAÚJO, Allan Diego de; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817In spife of the existent antagonism between Nietzsche‘s and Plato‘s philosophies, it have familiarities among herselves. This dissetation search points of some kinship between Nietzsche‘s and Plato‘s. Nietzsche criticises the platonism (socrates dichotomies) in the Plato‘s dialogs, in objection from withim european methaphysics. This work demonstrates that plato‘s philosophy is a great and constant inspiration for Nietzsche‘s combat on the plebeian platonism in the ocidental tradition. The reason for this approach in the Nietzsche‘s criticism is a ―transvaluation of all values‖ wherein ―platonism inversion‖.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A banalidade do mal e a faculdade de pensar: política e ética nas reflexões de Hanna Arendt(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-04-07) MOREIRA, Elzanira Rosa Mello; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817This work presents Hannah Arendt's about of evil, and its connection to the thinking and judging college, which gained new impetus at the Nazi trial of Adolf Eichmann. From the reflections on the problem of evil, Arendt turns to the activities of the spirit, raising questions about the thought, related to the phenomenon of evil. In Arendt's analysis, thought has as its activity the search for meanings and its purpose is communication with itself. Moving away from the orthodoxy of the Kantian texts, in his investigations of the judgment, Arendt understands in the aesthetic judgment of Kant the political condition of the judgment. In constant dialogue with Kant's work, Arendt is occupied with several concepts contained in the Critique of the College of Judgment, a work that considers Kant's political philosophy. Hannah Arendt reinterprets the college of judgment to demonstrate its political function, which serves citizens to distinguish right from wrong. The Kantian work allows us to understand the perception and the interpretive movement of Arendt. Through the analysis of the reflections of Hannah Arendt we seek to understand the author's perception about the functioning of the college of thinking and judging the political facts.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Biopolítica em Michel Foucault: da individualização do sujeito à governamentalidade da população(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-08-29) FREITAS, Felipe Sampaio de; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ciência, conhecimento e naturalismo na filosofia de Nietzsche(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-03-08) JESUS, Francisco de Paula Santana de; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6142-450XThis dissertation aims to investigate, discuss and interpret the issue of knowledge in Nietzsche’s philosophy. To do so, we assume that the philosopher thematizes knowledge and science from a naturalist perspective, by highlighting their meta-epistemological elements (such as biological influences, or surreptitious commitments to moral values). In this sense, resorting to the natural sciences serves the philosopher as a subsidy for a non-metaphysical investigation of human modes of cognition. It is important, then, to emphasize the parallels between the Nietzschean interpretation and the studies of authors with whom Nietzsche came into contact, such as Mach, Boscovich and Ribot. This demands the study of sources as a methodological resource to determine the meaning of the notion of knowledge in Nietzsche’s philosophy. Thus, our research seeks to 1) outline a history of the notion of knowledge from The Birth of Tragedy; to, then, 2) to present the naturalists perspectives of the knowledge; and, finally, 3) interpret how the main scientific-philosophical models (the Socratic and the sophistic) were formed based on Nietzschean philosophical psychology. Finally, we offer a discourse on the notion of space implied in the Nietzschean hypothesis of the will to power.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A crítica da modernidade em Nietzsche: o último homem e o tipo escravo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-03-12) HEINEN, Isabella Vivianny Santana; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817This research aims to develop a possibility of interpretation of modernity through the perspective of the last man from Nietzsche and its reverberation in the slave type. Considering that, according to the assimilation of Nietzsche modernity, this would translate the moment of uninterrupted relations established mainly through value judgments. Given the above, it puts into focus the motivation for this research: to investigate how the last man presented in This way spoke Zarathustra effectives a philosophical line that takes practice in a modern type and, therefore gregarious, taking full form of Nietzsche’s slave, in The genealogy of morals?. To this end, we intend to analyze the notion of modernity as a process of equalization (leveling) of man, from his major texts, namely Beyond good and evil, whose work Nietzsche seeks to show in detail the face of modernity and its decadent constitution. Similarly, in his book The genealogy of morals, he makes a study of the origin and the forces that influences the constitution of values. Thus, the search becomes important not only for developing a conceptual theoretical analysis of the author, which presents theoretical and philosophical elements that help to think about the issues of modernity, but also because it wants to learn from Nietzsche thinking is to exercise the criticism, as well as the creation of other interpretive positions about the world.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A genealogia filosófica em Nietzsche e em Foucault(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-06-10) NASCIMENTO, Ronaldo Luiz Silva do; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A máquina antropológica entre antropogênese e antropocentrismo : uma leitura crítica de Giorgio Agamben a partir de uma perspectiva multiespecífica da biopolític(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-10-07) COSTA FILHO, Maurício Sérgio Borba.; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817The aim of this work is to investigate the relevance of the concept anthropological machine of humanism, as proposed by Giorgio Agamben in L'aperto: l’uomo and l'animale, to our understanding of current politics. This concept, which comprises the set of discourses and practices that compose our ideas of what constitutes the human (and humanity) in opposition to the animal (and animality) in a dual logic of inclusion and exclusion, produces anthropogenic narratives that gravely resonate in the political life of western societies. Even though we think that such terminology successfully synthesizes this heterogeneous set of practices, we will argue that, in order for it to be a useful conceptual tool, we need to go beyond a critique of humanism, and place it within the context of non-anthropocentric critiques of politics. In this sense, we will turn the anthropological machine against Agamben's own political thought and writing, a movement that bears a double consequence. The first consequence is ethical and political in nature: in opposition to Agamben’s deeply anthropocentric politics, we sugest alternative modes of thinking possible politics of the living; the second consequence, on the other hand, is critical and descriptive: in oppositon to the scope of Agamben's biopolitical analysis (which is focused exclusively on the human body – be it the individualized body, be it the social body), we sugest a multispecies approach to biopolitical studies. This critical reading is situated within the larger picture of current discussions about the Anthropocene – or rather, the Capitalocene – and its consequences to the Humanities.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nietzsche e a questão do corpo na modernidade(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-03-30) LEAL, Julie Christie Damasceno; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817The present dissertation aims to develop an interpretation concerning the conception of body in Nietzsche, taking into account the perspectival bias and instinctive dimension of whole body, as well as the multiplicity of forces inherent in the investigation of the body. In view of that, according to the assimilation of Nietzsche, the notion of body places itself as conducting wire of his lucubrations, especially because the resumption of such a question demonstrates pertinent for thinking about the body in the course of Western thought, since the concept of ancient Greeks, passing the aesthetic Socratism, Platonism and Christian morality to modernity and its reverberations in relation to nihilism process. That said, it is particularly important to provide a critique of the poor understanding of body erected by traditional philosophy, while emphasizing the appropriation of Platonism by Christian morality, which resulted in the depreciation of the body and degeneration of the instincts and most vital bodily impulses, become sick, a fact that contributed of illness tendencies and belittlement of man in modernity. For that, we intend to analyze the notion of body crossed by the established valuations, both from aesthetic, and moral, cultural and philosophical, especially in the texts The Birth of Tragedy, Human Too Human, Beyond Good and Evil, Genealogy of Morals and Thus spoke Zarathustra, basic to place the question of the body in the dimensions that made possible their rise and decay. In this manner, the dissertation this shows that relevant because it allows the deepening on a question that arises latently in the context of Western thought: body notion, taken from the bias proposed by the German philosopher, as a forces field and conflict in modernity.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nietzsche e pessoa: um diálogo trágico entre filosofia e literatura(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-11-24) BATISTA, Francisco Lobo; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817This study seeks to approximate two of the biggest critics of modernity, Nietzsche and Fernando Pessoa, from themes that are common to them and, in general terms, proposed a dialogue between philosophy and art, more precisely, between philosophy and literature. From the literature reviewed, we can say that Pessoa was an involuntary nietzschean who search for in the subjectivity criticism, in metaphorical language understanding and in the image of the child, the overcoming of metaphysics. In this way, Nietzsche, a deleuzian perspective, worked with several conceptual characters and, though not as radical as Pessoa form, thought from various heteronyms.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nietzsche e Platão: uma relação ambígua e antinômica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-09-28) PONTE, Lívia Coutinho da; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817The present dissertation aims to develop an interpretation about how Nietzsche's thought is developed in minding polemically with Plato's philosophy, based on the analysis of the published and posthumous writings, in light of points of view of interpreters that give emphasis to this wrestling record as a key for a more complete understanding of nietzschean philosophy. The relevance of this research lies in the fact that the applicants tensions in the writings of Nietzsche with Plato, with Socrates as the main character of the Dialogues, and with the systems that Nietzsche called "Platonism" and "Socratism" serve as motto and element of realization of his thought, both in critical sense, as in propositional meaning. The main target of these antagonisms is a conception of science and philosophy generated in antiquity with the emergence of the logos that culminated in the hegemony of the normative character of reason, both universal and instrumental. So it is particularly important to understand to what extent Nietzsche's relationship with Socrates and Plato oscillates between fascination and disdainful denial, starting a genealogical critique of personal figures of the two Athenians in the form of a provocative reconstruction of cultural and individual conditions from which their thoughts radiated. Therefore, we intend to analyze: (i) the distinction between Plato and Platonism over the thought of Nietzsche, especially in Beyond good and evil, Human, all too Human I, posthumous fragments of half of the 1880s, and lectures on Plato offered in period of Basel and the relation of this distinction with the anti-metaphysics of Nietzsche; (ii) how Nietzsche handled the called "Socratic question" and the reception of Platonic dialogues by tradition, as well as Socrates association with the dissolution of the tragic thought, the latter mainly through the analysis of The birth of tragedy and Philosophy in the tragic age of the greeks; and finally (iii) the ways in which Nietzsche connects to a dialectic and literaryphilosophical typically platonic model.
