Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cartografia social como ferramenta para o ensino: a História do Povo Indígena Mortigura por meio de um mapa digital em Barcarena-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-08-28) FERREIRA, Vinicius Machado; BASTOS, Carlos Augusto de Castro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5957760591235451This professional master's dissertation in history teaching starts from the use of the textbook "Conquista Solução Educacional" as the object of study for the analysis of maps, highlighting its importance at Instituto Cristo Rei, where it is mandatory and linked to the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). The use of this book faces challenges due to the extent of the content and the limited class hours. The maps, present in the book, are seen as resources to make classes more reflective and dynamic. Authors such as Kazumi Munakata (2016) and Alain Choppin (2004) offer perspectives on the role of the textbook in school culture, while others like Harley (2005) and Carlos Tiné da Silva Pereira (2020) emphasize the power and construction of cartography, respectively. The immersion of students in social maps, especially those produced by the Mortigura indigenous people, expands their historical and spatial understanding, challenging Eurocentric views. The need to broaden students' perception of Portuguese colonization and the experiences of the Mortigura required the construction of a digital map. Authors such as Souto (2017) and Danilo Alves da Silva (2018) discuss the importance of using digital resources, in addition to my mediation as a teacher-researcher in the teaching and learning process. Social cartography, made by the Mortigura indigenous people, was used as the main teaching material, seeking to value their knowledge and resistance in the history of the past and present time. Thus, the active and interactive methodological approach, combined with workshops, allowed students a deeper understanding of the territory and history of the Mortigura, as well as of the municipality of Barcarena, contributing to a decolonial teaching of history.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cartografias do patrimônio cultural do bairro do Jurunas (Belém-Pa): espaço, tempo e identidade no ensino de História(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-12-03) CORRÊA, João Nazareno Pereira; BASTOS, Carlos Augusto de Castro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5957760591235451This text deals with the steps taken towards a sociocultural cartography of the Jurunas neighborhood (Belém-Pará), according to the cognitive point of view of students from two classes of Fundamental Maior (8th and 9th Years), from Escola Vereador Gonçalo Duarte. Research / teaching strategy, mainly, focused on moving elements of the local history of this urban space and its cultural heritage with the knowledge of school history, through the use and analysis of mental maps, textual productions and photographic records formulated by them subjects / students. The application of this mapping process or didactic sequence, emerged from the favorable meeting of my teaching experiences with the scientific theory of History Teaching, especially from the reflections emanating from the perspective of local history, the plural notion of heritage and important aspects of the field Cartography. That said, I can say that this research effort was able to glimpse the gestures that such students practice to territorialize the spaces in which they live and, with that, offered the possibility to unveil new scenarios of living heritage or in continuous movement of this southern region of the Capital of Pará.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) “Eu tenho história” – trabalhando História e memória em sala de aula através da pesquisa pessoal e familiar(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-08-03) GOIS, John Jorge de Sousa; BASTOS, Carlos Augusto de Castro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5957760591235451; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6226-8860This text is the result of work carried out in a private school in the city of Belém with a 6th year class, in which students were encouraged to learn about their personal and family history and from this produce a small book with the history of their family, they also made a Fair-style presentation where they exposed their learning to the school community. This dissertation aims to provide a teaching method to work on important concepts in the discipline of History, mainly History and memory. Still on the methodological field, the student is placed in contact with the analysis of primary and secondary sources in the classroom, such as written, oral, imagery and materials. Furthermore, the activities carried out in class also aim to bring the student closer to the subject of History, enabling them to take a greater role in the teaching-learning process, being both the researcher and the object of research at the same time. To better direct the teacher, a guiding plan was created in a didactic sequence, which is the product of this work. The intention of this proposal is not to exhaust the subject in question, but to point out possibilities on the topic for the 6th Year of Elementary School, when studies generally begin with the History subject. The ideas presented can be adapted to other series.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O facebook como ferramenta pedagógica no ensino de História(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-01-30) PANTOJA, Bruno Amorim; BASTOS, Carlos Augusto de Castro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5957760591235451The dissertation proposes to discuss the relationship between the teaching of history and the New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC),since it is a reality the dissemination of technologies in the so-called information society, where the internet, and especially social networks, as well as "old" technologies such as TV and radio, generate a bombardment of information and with the interlocution of teachers, these technologies can be allied in the process of teaching and learning, generating an interaction in the classes and an interest in the content taught. The thematic clipping of the research work will be done with the use of Facebook as a pedagogical resource in teaching history to two classes of elementary school in a private school in Belém do Pará. The intention will be to understand if these tools can help the teacher of History, and thus demonstrate that this tool, through the intermediary of the educator can dynamize the process of teaching and learning, leaving lessons more interesting for students and energizing the process of building historical knowledge. For this to be possible, a methodology called Investigative Thematic Unit or also known as workshop class will be used, where several steps are followed in the construction of historical knowledge with students, where the first step is to investigate the students' previous knowledge. The product to be generated will be a closed group, in the social network Facebook, that will function as a repository of videos, images, texts, historical Memes and etc. In addition, it will be a space for debates and discussions about images, gifs, videos, exercises and tests questions, all this, posted by the teacher, referring to the subjects chosen by the students, which will be contained in the curriculum of the class, in the case of the ninth year of Elementary Education.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O lado histórico da força: possibilidades do uso de elementos do universo Star Wars para o debate de crise na democracia e o totalitarismo no Ensino Fundamental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-12-02) MACIEL, Kédson Nascimento; BASTOS, Carlos Augusto de Castro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5957760591235451The present work seeks to present the results of the research about fiction films and historical concepts in the teaching of History within the Postgraduate Program strictu sensu Professional Master in History Teaching at the Federal University of Pará, Campus Ananindeua. With the general objective of debating historical concepts in elementary school classrooms and the difficulties of their apprehension, in view of their complex and abstract character, we explored new ways for students to recognize and dialogue with such concepts by working with episodes in the series of Star Wars films as the main didactic resource and relating them to the crisis in democracy and the rise of totalitarian regimes between the two world wars, with students from a class of ninth year of the Nilza Nascimento State Elementary School, in the city of Castanhal, in the state of Pará and that led to the production of mental maps based on their impressions and understanding of the concepts and the historical narrative studied, in the second semester of 2019. In order to carry out the pedagogical intervention work, cine classes, conversation circles and workshops of production of mind maps were developed, seeking to make classes more playful and encourage student participation in the construction of knowledge.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O uso da pintura rupestre da região amazônica como fonte histórica: uma possibilidade na disciplina História no sexto ano(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-03-07) CASTRO, Rafael Printes Albarelli de; BASTOS, Carlos Augusto de Castro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5957760591235451This research had as objective to present the experience lived in the State School of Elementary Education "Professor Waldemar de Freitas Ribeiro", in the municipality of Belém, capital of the state of Pará, of how to work with a historical source, which in most cases is in the didactic manuals or outside them, the historians leave much to the margin: the rock painting, especially those of the Amazon region. The survey involved the single morning class and the three afternoon classes of the sixth year of elementary school. In order to achieve better analyzes and results with the use of rock paintings, a strong approach was sought with Archeology. In order to detect students' understanding of rock painting, a questionnaire was applied consisting of four questions (before and after the application of the rock paintings production workshop). The execution of a rock paintings production workshop was presented as one of the highlights of this research. This strategy of using rock painting aims to help students to take another look at "Prehistory", about human beings who lived in this period, and also the so-called rupestrian painting (being much more characterized as a historical source).
