Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aplicabilidade altimétrica no mapeamento fitogeográfico e uso da terra: contribuições ao planejamento territorial e à restauração ambiental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-03-13) SANTOS, Eduardo da Silva; BARBOSA, Wagner Luiz Ramos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1372405563294070; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279This study aims to improve the mapping method for the vegetation cover, elaborated in the 1: 250,000 scale, using the theoretical reference of Classificação da Vegetação Brasileira Adaptada a um Sistema Universal by Veloso, Rangel-Filho and Lima (1991) ). The mapping of the vegetation units was carried out in corresponding to the forest formations and sub-formations of the IBGE vegetation. In this sense, the proposal of this research will enable, through a geotechnology tool, to rectify such designs. Starting from the official mapping (IBGE), later, it was superimposed on the hypsometric map generated in this work. As a result of this process, a new mapping of the vegetation cover properly adjusted to the classification used was obtained. In the assessment of the proposed mapping, a field validation was performed, having as its main axis the positional accuracy of the outlines of forest formations and sub- formations in the area under study. The research was carried out in the Municipality of Paragominas, State of Pará, with a total area of 19,342,254 km2. The results showed a strong need for inclusion of this device in the methodological process, since deep changes in the spatialization of these designs (forest formations and sub - formations) were performed and rectified, both in the qualitative and/or quantitative aspects, which are observed in the comparative map between the official data and the proposed data: Official Map Db 43%, in the Proposed Map, it changed to 52.95%; In the Official Map Ds 54.98%, in the Proposed Map, it was 45.68%. The analysis of the environmental liability was carried out in the SICAR database available in November/2018, corresponding to 93.4% of registered properties, presenting the following 85.15% of the Legal Reserves have anthropogenic levels in the range of <40; that is, low anthropization; 8.95% of the RL (s) are in the range of> 60, that is, high anthropization; and 5.9% of the RL (s), are in the range of 40-60, that is, average anthropization. In this way, the final product meets a more effective instrument and, in a way, can be best used in territorial planning actions.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Atividade portuária em Barcarena (Pará): caracterização e análise ambiental de seus efeitos no desenvolvimento local da vila de Itupanema(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-04-20) COSTA, Igor Jorge Lobato da; BASTOS, Rodolpho Zahluth; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0697476638482653; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279The current work’s main objective is to characterize and analyze the environmental changes caused by the port activity and their effects over the local development at Itupanema village, located at Barcarena County / PA, over the past 20 years. The analysis of the aspects and environmental impacts was realized through the analytical process of Evaluation Post- Occupation (APO) based in bibliography and georeferenced data setting-up. Starting at the selected remote sensing image, the APO took place by visual interpretation technique, eletromagnetical radiation and digital classification of the images for empirical investigation of the environmental urban expasion fenomena and the impacts over Itupanema village. The results showed that was a progressive growth of urban areas over the vegetation. As results, this work concludes that the Itupanema village had suferred sensitive changes caused by the great enterprises established near the community, with special emphasis on Albrás, Alunorte, Pará Pigmentos, Imerys Rio Capim Caulim from 2000 to 2005, and after that was affected by the construction of the Ports, making a metamorphosis at the original landscape, highlighting the suppression of the green areas giving place to urban areas as side reflex of the populational expansion at the Barcarena County. The changes were the main responsible of several environmental impacts as the deforestation and the absence of the local development expected for the the Itupanema village community.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cadastro Territorial Multifinalitário (CTM), planejamento e gestão urbanos na Amazônia: a multifinalidade dos modelos de CTM de Belém e do Ministério das Cidades(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) ARAÚJO, Fernando Alves de; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279The context of complexity, inequality and injustice of the capitalist urban space dates back to the need for a planning and management of this space considering these variables as intrinsic to this model of society, however without accepting them or defend them, having as the ultimate goal the urban development understood as promotion of life quality, social justice and autonomy for all those who produce, reproduce and live the urban space. This planner and manager practice should be perceived as an applied social research, interdisciplinary, covering an effective pipular participation, as well as use their various instruments to assess objectives satisfactorily. Among those instruments is the Cadastro Territorial Multifinalitário (CTM) - Territorial Multipurpose Cadastre, which although not a new idea, having its genesis dated millennia ago, and the current models being very close to those produced in Europe in the nineteenth century, Brazil count only with one "legislation" specifically geared to the CTM dated from the end of the first decade of this century, under an ordinance of the Ministrerio das Cidades - Ministry of Cities, which brought general recommendations about the structure and methodology of implementation of a model of cadastre. While in the local context, in Belém, Pará State Capital City, the production of records dating from the 1970s, and as the current one produced in 2000 as the Cadastro Técnico Multifinalitário.- Tecnical Multipurpose Cadastre. Thus, the present research aims to analyze, with some comparison, the model cadastre models of the Ministry of Cities, proposed in in its decree No. 511/09 - Cadastro Territorial Multifinalitário (CTM) - and the City of Belém Prefecture - called the Cadastro Técnico Multifinalitário, focusing on the issue of the multipurpose considered from the possibility of using the CTM in all spheres of urban planning and management, especially those not directly linked to tax and fiscal spheres, since these are historically the initial concerns of the cadastral record, configuring thus its purpose priority. The work was produced through the use of bibliographic search technique over authors who mainly discuss the concepts of space, territory, urban space, spatial planning, urban planning and management, with collect and analysis of secondary data, conducted through documentary research in official texts of the Ministerio das Cidades about the CTM model for it, its ordinance 511/09 which brought the guidelines of cadastre model, as well as execution reports of the Cadastro Técnico Multifinalitário de Belém and spreadsheets with information about the cadastre, provided by the managing agency of the CTM de Betém. Culminating with semi-structured interviews technique with experts from competent organs to the production and management of the CTM de Belém, as CODEM and SEFIN.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Fiscalização ambiental e análise multitemporal da ocupação e uso do solo no assentamento rural Nova Colina, no estado do Amapá(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-08-15) CÔRTES, Marcos dos Santos; FLORES, Maria do Socorro Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8875436559577793; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279This study analyzes the evolution of land use and occupation within the limits of agricultural settlement New Hill, economic activities implanted these areas and environmental surveillance actions taken by the government in this settlement located in the rural municipalities of Macapá and Porto Grande in the state of Amapá. The beginning of the analysis takes place before and after the legal settlement of creation, in order to evaluate the use change and land use in the production units of the rural settlement New Hill as local development factor through satellite images. A priori, processing and analysis of remote the years 1991 sensing images, in 2006 and 2014 allowed the identification of classes as cloud and / or shade, forest, secondary forest and bare soil, thus presenting an increase in changing the natural cover nesting over time. The percentage of exposed soil has increased by 3, 5 and 18% along the respective years. Then we assessed the types of usage in the settlement with the purpose of qualifying previously quantified changes. The main types of identified use were subsistence agriculture with 47% of the total, also known as family farming, followed by fruit with 20%, livestock 15%, PMFS 15% and other uses 3%, and still He noted that after the establishment of the settlement there was a significant increase on the area deforested mostly in family units designed for alternative use of the soil under regime of family farming that has worked various activities mentioned above targeting local development. It was finally held a discussion of the legal instruments for environmental control by the state at the state and federal level in the face of changes in land use and settlement in New Hill. In this bias were identified 21 tax assessments at the state level, prevailing in this, the offenses committed by forest byproduct of transport without forest origin documentation with a percentage of 67%. In the federal level were registered 14 offenses and 57% of them by implementing forest management plans at odds with environmental authorization granted by the competent environmental agency. So the geoinformation technologies employed in this work has helped to identify the changes in the space resulting from human activities of land use.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Impactos ambientais causados pelas atividades do Complexo Minerometalúrgico de Barcarena na Comunidade ribeirinha do Rio Guajará de Beja do Município de Abaetetuba/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-04-22) FERREIRA, Genivaldo de Jesus Silva; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279This master's thesis has as its theme the environmental impacts caused by the activity of the Barcarena minerometallurgical complex in the riverside community of the Guajará de Beja river in the municipality of Abaetetuba / Pa and aims to understand, analyze the possible and main environmental impacts caused by the activities of companies. of minerals and transport from the Barcarena metallurgical mining complex from the report of the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance Intervention made to families affected by the environmental accident of Vila do Conde de Barcarena-Pa, from the technical report of the institute Evandro Chagas (IEC) , of the technical opinion of COMDEC- Technical Coordination of Civil Defense of the Municipality of Abaetetuba and of the Inter-Sectoral Committee of Public Calamity carried out by SEMEIA- Secretariat of Environment of Abaetetuba and 7 Municipalities of the Municipality in 2018 and added to these surveys, are considered reports of arrears families, representatives of communities, secretariats, etc. which through quantitative qualitative interviews allude to the Abaetetuba riverside communities that were affected by the minerometalurgic complex, as the main and possible responsible, the company Norsk Hydro Alunorte, according to the results of the analyzes, of the Committee Diagnosis, the Report and the Technical Opinion previously informed. This research will analyze various aspects of environmental impacts, assessing the perception of public management regarding these challenges faced within the municipality of Abaetetuba, focusing on riverside communities, in order to subsidize the contribution of the elaboration of public policies and strategies. for problem solving, identification and reduction of environmental impacts. For the work to be solid, many authors related to the theme are approached, such as Sánches (2008), Muratori (1998), Vieira (2009), Melo Junior (2002) and Ferreira (2015) Pinto (2006), Paiva e Silva (2012). , Barbosa (2010) and Ribeiro and Alencar (2016), Beck (1995) and Egler (1996), among others, will be used for the purpose of subsidizing research-related themes, giving truth to the information collected and described during the production and elaboration of this work, guaranteeing its scientific nature. The question that leads to the theme is to identify if the environmental impacts caused by the activity of the Barcarena minerometallurgical complex in the riverside community of the Guajará de Beja river of the municipality of Abaetetuba / pa, have a direct reflection on the water bodies and if they cause a series of complications in the water. health of the inhabitants of the surrounding communities. It concludes the research considering that the IEC governmental agencies and the inter-sectoral committee point out that the communities were affected by effluents, the same result converges with the results of the interviews conducted in the community of Guajará de Beja, the main focus of the research conducted to verify the impacts of this community belonging to the municipality of Abaetetuba-Pa.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Impactos socioambientais da implantação de grandes projetos na Amazônia: uma análise da percepção ambiental no município de Barcarena (Pará, Brasil)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-06-28) ALMEIDA, Raimundo da Costa; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7753-5394The present project proposes to carry out a study of environmental perception on the large mining enterprises in the Municipality of Barcarena, in the State of Pará. The study will be carried out based on the hierarchy of needs proposed by Abraham Maslow (2014), sustainable development variables and large mining projects in the Amazon. The research will seek to answer the following question: How does the implementation of large projects in the Amazon affect the environmental perception of the population of the municipality of Barcarena (Pará, Brazil), considering the socio-environmental impacts resulting from these projects? The main hypothesis for this question considers that: the implementation of large projects in the Amazon has caused significant socio-environmental impacts in the municipality of Barcarena (Pará, Brazil), which affect the environmental perception of the local population. And it will have as its general objective: To understand, from the perception of society in the Municipality of Barcarena, how the variables of sustainable development (social, economic, spatial, environmental, cultural and political) are impacted by large mining projects in the Amazon. The specific objectives will be: to examine whether political leaders, representatives of organized civil society and the population of the Municipality of Barcarena, through their perceptions, relate the negative externalities that impact the Municipality to large mining enterprises; assess whether large mining projects are implemented in a Top Down manner; and analyze, based on official data, how mining projects in the municipality of Barcarena have impacted on sustainable development. The product generated by the research will be a manual for claiming, monitoring and controlling the implementation of mitigation measures for large projects in the Amazon. The survey will be carried out with the application of online questionnaires to the population and in person to a sample of the target audience of the online survey, with the aim of carrying out the reambulation of the online survey. A social cartographic survey will also be carried out, with the traditional population impacted by mining projects.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Modo de vida e uso dos recursos pesqueiros na localidade do Beiradão, município de Limoeiro do Ajuru, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-12-11) SILVA JUNIOR, Davi Martins da; BARBOSA, Wagner Luiz Ramos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1372405563294070; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279In the general perception of a traditional community, the use of natural resources is understood as unlimited. However, there is a contradiction observed by the riverside residents, regarding the scarcity of their subsistence matter. To mitigate the shortage of this material, the sustainable use of natural resources would be an option to reduce the environmental impacts caused by the poor organization in obtaining these resources. Thus, this work aims to show how the development of fishing activity in the Beiradão Community, in Limoeiro do Ajuru (PA), has taken place, and how fishermen have been organizing themselves, given the scarcity of fishing resources in the region. To this end, bibliographic research was carried out, in addition to field research, in the Beiradão Community, in which structured and semi-structured interviews, observations with photographic records and the application of Social Cartography were used. From the analysis of the data, it was understood that artisanal fishing is the main livelihood of the Community in question, which will have to adapt life and work to the current reality, where the demand for fish directly affects the availability of this resource . However, fishermen demonstrated resistance and limitations, especially with regard to the adoption of Fisheries Agreements, which is made clear in the interviews and even in the literature on artisanal fishing in the region. Thus, it is concluded that fishing in the studied community is of great importance, as a source of income for local residents and as a means of supplying fish to regional municipal headquarters.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Monitoramento das paisagens de Paragominas: uma abordagem geossistêmica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-08-30) PIMENTEL, Gustavo Martinez; LOPES, Luis Otávio do Canto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1013147545099173; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279In the Amazon, to monitor and predict land use dynamics, do not occur simply. The occupation in this region, starting from the opening of the BR-010 hayway and based on deforestation and insertion of pastures for cattle rearing, did not provide this productivity gradient as in other parts of the country. A great example is Paragominas/Pará held at the time the logging as the main economic activity, the city experienced a paradigm shift in 2008, the result of a joint action between civil society, private capital and public institutions, managed to recycle and restructure its economy more sustainable activities. Despite progress, much can still be done for better productivity and proper use of natural resources in the territory. Thus, it is understood that the territory is the space where decisions and where politics materializes are taken, with direct influence on the management of natural resources. Therefore, it’s important to identify the elements of the landscape, including the geomorphology, which stands for determining other elements, such as vegetation, soil, fauna, etc.). Thus, considering the theoretical basis and the GIS as a support, it was mounted one geographic database with primary information, secondary and adapted secondary data. This base was inserted into a cell grid system for analysis. From this grid it was possible to distinguish twelve geofacies to Paragominas. From them, it assesses that in the municipality of Paragominas, in most cases, have forest areas with 10,788.74 square kilometers (55.78%) and when it comes to land use, pastures totaling 2789.11 square kilometers (14.47%). Regarding the rate stability, forests stand out with the highest percentage, about 70%, land uses the present intermediate values (50%) and the Low and High “Capoeiras Baixa e Alta” have the lowest levels of stability (15%). As the dynamics of the evolution of land use in geofacies, livestock is the activity that most deforested the forest in Paragominas, with deforestation rates ranging from 5% to 15% of each geofacie. Agriculture in class, the dynamic occurs in the conversion of grasslands for planting beans, with values strongly concentrated in the areas of Plateaus, with conversion rates ranging from 8% to 25%. As for forest regeneration processes, geofacies Depression, Plains and Valleys have higher rates of these geofacies between 5% and 20%. In contrast, classes more forest regeneration showed no patterns among geofacies. In an overview, the study showed that the insertion occurred dynamics of mechanized agriculture next to highways and livestock is still deforesting vector in the municipality. Already the Forest Plantation this consolidation process in the region and is not very representative area. With the database was possible to define the limits of geofacies and from them verify the dynamics of using existing land in Paragominas, reflecting the same land use dynamics (agricultural transition, deforestation, forest degradation, among others) that are occurring in the Amazon.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mudanças e adaptações no modo de vida na vila Mainardi (Breves, Pará): os impactos da decadência da atividade madeireira(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-09-30) CUNHA, Amiraldo do Socorro Soares da; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279The present work intends to carry out an analysis and debates, based on bibliographic and documental research and field data, emphasizing the subsistence activities performed by traditional populations of Marajó, presenting categories and tools of geographic analysis, which can be worked on the understanding of the way of life and the use of natural resources by these populations. This proposal started from the consideration that local production, generated in the execution of the so-called territorial strategies of survival of these traditional populations is extremely important for supplying both urban centers and communities themselves. In this way, this research will also seek to verify and discuss the viability of using social cartography techniques in the participative mapping of the traditional populations researched, seeking to understand how territorial planning can integrate information about: the traditional populations' way of life; the residents' economic activities; and geotechnologies and equipment used in the collection and capture of natural resources - fish and forests. The bibliographical research, integrated with data from the field research and participatory mapping in the village Mainardi, in the municipality of Breves, Marajó Island, Pará State, in addition to laboratory work, using geoprocessing techniques, allowed us to map the dynamic complexity of some socio-spatial and socio-environmental structural relations in the study area, showing how participatory mapping techniques can help the understanding of natural resource planning, by both the public managers and the users themselves, who will be able to see their territorialities on the map.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Território e modo de vida ribeirinho na Amazônia paraense: uma análise na comunidade de Caxiuanã (Melgaço-Pará)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-03-22) FARIAS, Geovani Gonçalves; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279Recently the geographic science has been using the territory concept/category frequently to explain many transformations in the geographical space in the most diverse scales. It has been observed that in the last years the concept/category of lifestyle have been resumed in the geographical researches, principally in the traditional populations analysis. The geography’s events have been the main publication space for researches that deal with this concept/category, most in agrarian geography studies events. In this way, in this research both concepts/categories have been utilized, since comprehends that the lifestyle construction is also a construction of the territory. Therefore they must be treated in an indissociable way to emphasize that the territory is essential for the existence of a lifestyle and vice versa. The use of these two concepts/categories in an indissociable way in the analysis of traditional populations is also important because it is perceived that they need a territory to guarantee their existence and on other hand, lifestyle is an instrument of resistance and combat against hegemonic actors. In one sense, the object of this research is to identify, analyze and periodize the ribeirinhos’ of Caxiuanã Community lifestyle and territory changes that occurred since the creation of the Caxiuanã FLONA and the ECFPn, as well the conflicts and the main individuals in this process. To achieve that objective the following inquire was made: 1) Which changes occurred in the ribeirinhos’ of Caxiuanã Community lifestyle and territory, since the creation of the Caxiuanã FLONA and ECFPn? 2) Which are the conflicts and the main individuals in this process? Besides, the utilization of a participative cartography methods the following methodological steps: bibliographic and documental investigation indispensable to cement theoretically this dissertation, fieldwork through by means of structured and/or semi-structured interviews, informal conversations with the older habitants of Caxiuanã Community, elaboration of community maps using participative mapping, photographic investigation of the community’s quotidian and the treatment and systematization of the collected data. In this way, stands out some data about the results obtained with the hypothesis confirmation that the Caxiuanã FLONA as well ECFPn creation are events that have a direct relation to the lifestyle and territory changes observed in the community analyzed, among which it is highlighted the almost extinction of the religions’ traditions which were and still are the main cultural expression of the Community and the community’s majority abandon of the farming and other inherent activities of the riverside lifestyle as consequence of the territories superposition which the Community had principally with the EFCPn’s arrival that utilized in the beginning all the local available manpower ant still utilizes nowadays, however much less.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Território em transformação: conflitos na pesca artesanal – Araguari, Porto Grande, Amapá, Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-03-25) LIMA, Laís Melo; PAULA, Cristiano Quaresma de; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279The main objective of this study is to discuss the factors that contributed to the changes in the territoriality of artisanal fishermen on the Araguari-Amapá River. Located in the middle of the basin, artisanal fishermen from Porto Grande are part of the group affected by the hydroelectric projects installed in the last decade. With the installation, artisanal fishermen from Araguari started to report changes in the fisheries' reproduction cycle, and consequently loss of fishing territoriality and fishing areas – occurring greater pressure on new areas and insecurity of trafficability in previously used fishing grounds. With the new use, they begin to report the occurrence of conflicts and disputes over the resource. In this way, we resort to the panorama of policies implemented over the Amazonian space to understand the strategies of use and appropriation conferred at different times by different agents, as well as the respective resistances of the fishing activity.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O transporte público enquanto dimensão do processo de metropolização de Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-08-11) CASTRO, Carlos Jorge Nogueira de; RIBEIRO, Willame Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0410219650119090; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3692-4224; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279The development process of Brazilian cities presents essential elements in cargo and passenger transport that have sustained the production of urban space over the centuries; in this way, the means of transport participate in the structuring of the urban space, articulating the center and its sub-centers with the peripheral spaces. This guarantees the permanence of processes that characterize socio-spatial inequality. In recent years, debates have orbited between environmental sustainability policies and urban mobility in the face of metropolization processes. The particularities of the Amazonian space require theoretical and methodological efforts capable of articulating the process of metropolization of space and the role developed by transport as an actuating element, articulating and regulating spatial interactions. Based on these elements, and assuming the object of this thesis, the objective proposed in this research is to analyze the main urban passenger transport system in the metropolitan area of Belém; seeks to understand the role of the State in relation to the main strategies identified in the territorialities of transport agents over the past two decades; to analyze the expression of these territorialities in the movements of expansion of the transport system and market, as an element that composes the process of metropolization of space by articulating the center with its sub centers and its peripheries, which guarantees the maintenance of the processes of socio-spatial inequality in the metropolitan space. The methodological procedures developed approximate the dialogues constituted by the theoretical foundation, supported in large volume in the analysis of data and information from primary sources, and secondary data - some worked in an environment of Geographic Information Systems (GIS's) that put on and subsidize essential elements for the analytical approaches proposed in this thesis. The results of this research demonstrate phenomena intrinsic to public transport in the Amazon context, reveals the precariousness programmed in the passenger transportation service offered by the transport agents, with the consent of the State, reveal the metamorphoses in the capitals of the transport agents with predominant performance in the system, analyzes the corporate structure of the companies and the territorial movements that allow to affirm that there is active participation of the transport agents in the process of metropolization of Belém. In this way, public transport acts as a component of greatness in the process of metropolization of Belém and has had throughout its trajectory conflicts dimensioned in ruptures and continuities in the phenomenon of urban displacement of passengers.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O turismo de base comunitária como possibilidade de gestão de recursos naturais e desenvolvimento local da RESEX marinha Mocapajuba – São Caetano de Odivelas – PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-03-24) SANTOS, Yasmin Alves dos; MORAES, Sérgio Cardoso de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4568311568729454; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279Local sustainable development is the process of social change that seeks to make economic growth compatible with environmental conservation, quality of life and social equity. The practice of sustainable tourism uses natural and cultural heritage in order to encourage its conservation, encouraging the emergence of experiences that promote local development, in addition to offering new perspectives for development and promoting the well-being of the populations involved. The Conservation Units since their first conceptions have as their objective the public use focused on the practices of tourism, leisure and recreation, in order to use them as a tool for monitoring and protecting the biodiversity of such areas. It is noted that Community Based Tourism (TBC), a type of tourism management, which aims at community protagonism, in all processes of organization, elaboration and execution of tourist activity. In addition to conserving environmental resources, culture and the well-being of these local populations to the utmost. The lived experience implements an environmental awareness in its practitioners, in addition to exchanges of knowledge between community members and tourists. Given the above, the TBC could be an alternative vector for raising awareness of conservation and developing an ecological awareness, in addition to generating work and income and valuing local culture. Thus, this study aims to carry out an analysis on local development and its applicability in sustainable tourism - TBC, taking into account its applicability in protected areas. This dissertation had as main objective to analyze the possibility of Community Based Tourism (TBC) to be implanted in the Marine Extractive Reserve, having as object of study the communities: Boa Vista, Cachoeira and Sede Municipal. To carry out this research and to answer the questions raised, it was necessary to develop a theoretical-methodological framework that would enable us to understand the observations made in the field through a dialogue with the theory. Qualitative research was chosen based on descriptive, exploratory studies supported by data collection and institutional material, made available by the UC manager, in addition to the information obtained in the field research, with observation, interviews, oral narratives and through the SWOT Matrix and by the Falado Map, dynamics applied in the workshops, carried out in order to understand the daily life and social processes of the studied communities. Therefore, we seek to base the study on theories that deal with tourism, articulating with the notion of the use of territory, space and place as a social aspect. It was noted that community members believe that TBC is a medium with great potential for social transformation and as an alternative to nature conservation, social inclusion, in addition to being able to generate income for the locality. However, the same depends on the organization and collective will. In addition, it is necessary to manage the conservation unit to implement the management plan, so that the guidelines for public use have been defined.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Viabilidade econômica da pesca: identificação da reprodução social de pescadores no rio Panacuera, no município de Abaetetuba/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-01-28) CARNEIRO, Joana Darc de Sousa; BASTOS, Rodolpho Zahluth; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0697476638482653; SILVA, Christian Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4284396736118279This dissertation presents the economic and social organization of the fishermen of Panacuera island community, as well as the economic viability of fishing in the social reproduction of the residents, in order to verify if the economic subsistence is obtained and the strategies of the income composition of this public. For this reason, we sought to understand the process of production of fishing activity, from the production chain through the capture, marketing and, organization of fishermen, as well as activities developed alongside artisanal fishing. For this purpose, structured and semi-structured interviews, observations and photographic records were taken on that place. From this research, we consider that fishing is the main livelihood of artisanal fishers of Panacuera island community. It is deniable the existence of an idiosyncrasy between fishermen and the sea that allows them to resist the difficulties encountered in the profession such as: the scarcity of fish, lack of infrastructure and government incentive. Thus, the fisherman does not abandon artisanal fishing and continues to develop his activity daily seeking the minimum conditions of survival. It is important to point out that, in parallel with fishing, there are other locally relevant economic activities aimed at complementing family income, although they are not as important as fishing; among them stands out the açai extractivism. The construction of a calendar registration booklet is a proposal for intervention so that these fishermen have their records formalized and organized for eventual research and government formalities.
