Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Às margens da cidade: trajetórias, possibilidades e práticas de educação ambiental geradas pela Casa Escola da Pesca em Belém - PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-12) CORRÊA, Edilzane Almeida; LAUTERT, Luiz Fernando de Carli; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1124000795676509; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537When addressing the theme of City Marks: Trajectories, Possibilities and Environmental Education Practices generated by Casa Escola da Pesca, we sought to emphasize what conditions are necessary through efficient public policies, to improve the quality of life of the people of the waters, the population who have rights and need to be more recognized. In this way, education is fundamental in this change, as it has the capacity to transform this reality for the better. The object of the research, as already mentioned above, was reported to Casa Escola da Pesca, a school with a differentiated curriculum focused on fishing and aquaculture for young and adult children of fishermen from the island region of Belém. It works in a semi- boarding school and belongs to Fundação Escola Bosque Professor Eidorfe Moreira. Casa Escola is located in the neighborhood of Itaiteua, on the island of Caratateua and has already served a significant number of students from the most varied islands in this capital. We sought to analyze in an interdisciplinary context the way that environmental education is inserted and addressed in everyday experiences, and what influence it has on the lives of these students. As a methodology, a cut was made of the islands served by the institution in only two: the Caratateua Islands and the Cotijuba Island. In order to collect essential data for the research, we chose the interview method with six direct questions, because considering the number of students already graduated from Casa Escola, the number of interviewees was limited to only twenty. Male graduates from the first classes of Elementary and Technical Education were selected, considering that the school started only with young men and adults. When analyzing the bibliographic data collected, we developed as a final product, a Pedagogical Guide for the Teacher of the Natural Sciences discipline, based on the pedagogical fortnights developed at Casa Escola da Pesca. This product aims to guide the work of the teacher who is on the most different islands of the island region of Belém and who, most of the time, does not find accessible resources to develop his activities in class and extra class. The Guide is illustrated with images focused on the reality experienced by the residents of the riverside communities, also having a language accessible to the target audience, young people and adults from elementary school in the final grades.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Conferência Infanto Juvenil para o Meio Ambiente (CIJMA): uma análise das ações socioeducativas voltadas a Educação Ambiental nos diferentes cenários da Amazônia paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-07-08) ALMEIDA, Elana Gracielle Santos; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This dissertation focuses its analysis on the performance of CIJMA the different scenarios in the state of Pará. The main objective is to understand / analyze how to consolidate environmental education practices conducted in the school context arising from the participation of schools selected in this study in the process of CIJMA, which occurs from the selective stages of municipal, regional and national levels in subsequent periods to the event as a way to understand its consequences. Schools will be analyzed in the period 2013 to 2015 and focused on two distinct realities, namely, the first school is a scenario with urban characteristics - The State School Regina Coeli Silva e Sousa in the municipality of Anantapur and the second institution is a scenario with riverine and rural feature The Municipal School St. Benedict in the municipality of Portel. The theoretical framework is anchored in the perspective of critical environmental education and emancipatory; and is based on a qualitative study, guided by multiple case study; and data collection semi-structured interviews were conducted with the school community of the institutions participating in the process, questionnaires and photographic records, and school documents, literature review and experiences in the school routine. Some of the authors who helped us to understand the context studied were Freire (2014), Cury (1986); Guimarães (2012), Loureiro (2014), Layrargues (2005; 2009), Mészáros (2008) and the National Environmental Education Policy (PNEA). The survey provided an opportunity to realize, from the speeches of the interviewees and, in reading the educational projects of those schools that there were attempts and mutual efforts to promote environmental education and projects continuously, but still needs more resizing these practices as form of potentiates various actions in the context of a more comprehensive and critical dimension of EA.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Conflitos ideológicos no texto da Lei 9.795/99: uma análise do discurso ideológico no texto da Lei de Educação Ambiental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-05-30) ARAÚJO, Claudionor Ferreira; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537The text of the Law 9.795/99, which establishes environmental education and establishes the National Environmental Education Policy, it is a response from the Brazilian state to the yearnings of traditional communities who depend directly on natural resources such as indigenous and riverine and quilombolas. This research had as main objective the identification of other interests on this Law, which permeate the text and they are prevalent on it. It was thus necessary to analyze the text of the Law as the enabling local for conflict of interests, that were identified as ideological, and how those interests are manifested in discursive form. The Law has been studied in the particularity of each article in order to detect the choices of language, the concrete situation of utterance and the ideological discourse prevalent. There was preference for nominal forms, those with higher load semantic-conceptual, including derivative forms of verbal processes. There was much variety in the configuration of the situation enunciative, with a predominance of imperative character, as in determinations and assignments. At the ideological level, itself, dominated the conservative discourse, ideologically linked to the interests of the dominant class. Another discourse was perceived a lot of in the text, the reformist discourse, inherent to groups mediating the conflict between dominant and dominated. Since the law serves little or nothing to the interests of those further waiting, it concludes that the dominant class is able to absorb the social demands, but turning them for their own benefit. And since, by their interests are put in the form of law, acquire a universal character and, as such, is imposed for everyone, like if they were of everyone , though they really represent only the interests of some.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Consumo racional da água: uso de sequência didática no ambiente escolar(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-03) FURTADO, Simone Carvalho de Souza; ROCHA , Edson José Paulino da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2313369423727020; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537Water is increasingly showing itself as a finite and vital natural resource for human existence, as it is a substance that participates in most natural and industrial processes. Current estimates of use and inadequate consumption of this resource, considering waste and contamination, reveal that in a few years the world will face a significant deficit in water supply. According to data from the Ministry of the Environment and the National Information and Sanitation System, waste in the country is around 38% of treated water, in some regions such as the North and Northeast, an index that can exceed 50%, in addition to contamination of rivers and lakes that contribute to increase this water stress. In this sense, the research proposes to contribute significantly to the teaching of Environmental Sciences with regard to the theme of water, with the general objective of proposing a Didactic Sequence (SD) to address the theme "Rational Consumption of Drinking Water" for assist in the teaching- learning process with teachers and students of the 4th and 5th years of Elementary School held at EEEFM Izabel dos Santos Dias in Icoaraci, district of the municipality of Belém - PA. The research was carried out through the qualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews for school managers and coordinators and structured questionnaires for teachers and students for data collection. This research was based on the conception of learning that is guided by a Historical-cultural approach to human development, based on the Socio- interactionism of Lev Vygotsky and on the teaching methodological proposal through Dolz Didactic Sequence , Noverraz and Schneuwly. The final results pointed to the need to encourage students to think about the environment as an extension of their life and that their individual and collective actions directly interfere in this process of preserving natural resources and the environment. Water should be treated as a natural, finite and fundamental element for survival, taking care not to waste this resource in daily practice, favoring its rational consumption. It is concluded that the Didactic Sequence is in fact an efficient educational product to address the theme of rational water consumption, as well as other themes in the elementary school space; in addition to constituting a strategy that values students' prior knowledge, which also helps teachers in working with the school curriculum, aiming at this dialogue between School and Community, as it contributes towards making a correlation and associating the problems experienced daily, whether basic sanitation, violence, misuse of water or its culture, within a larger world context that involves several socio-environmental and socio-cultural factors in the teaching-learning process of students and teachers working in Basic Education in the count.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cultura e meio ambiente: as ações socioeducativas do Instituto Arraial do Pavulagem(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-06-26) BARRETTO, Joana Celia Coutinho; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This work tells, describes and discusses the socioeducational and environmental actions of Instituto Arraial do Pavulagem in Belém and in other municipalities in the state of Pará through cultural practices such as Cordão do Peixe Boi, Arrastões da quadra Junina, Cordão da Cobra-grande and an action of the Orube Project of Art and Education, a axtension project of the Institute based in the residential area of Satélite in a municipal school in Ourém. Its starting point is these questions: how does the relationship between environmental education and conservation unit management takes place? Does it converge to strengthen participatory practices of sustainable environmental development of the conservation unit? The attempt to build answers demanded a research survey whose main objective was to identify and analyze to what extent the relationship between environmental education and management contribute to meeting social and democratic commitments reflecting public action of schools, neighborhood association and council and meet the principles of creation of a conservative unit. Fulfilling this aim required to characterize the educational space in conservative unit; to check out whether environmental education practiced corresponds to the social and environmental development project in progress and how environmental education is included in the qualification process of the local population in order to participate (school governing board and neighborhood association). Data comes from questionnaires with open questions and semi-structured interviews, observation, and document. The research shows that the relationship between environmental education and management in a conservative unit is still incipient. Really there are possible paths, but they convergence. There are actions that shape the role of formal education — represented by schooling — and of non formal one — activities developed by ICMBio. But there is no dialogue between education intentions. Educational practices present in the conservative unit must adapt their pedagogy to meet local demands — content must be contextualized so that learning can be (res)signified based on "knowledge and nature" and focused on a life based on elements provided by the "forest and the waters" and valuing cultural and occupational practices. Possibilities of making it to establish are still must converge. Therefore, school, inhabitants and their association, public departments, councils, and other interested parties present in the conservative unit need combining efforts: environmental care, community organization, education integrated to the environment, and participatory management.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental como instrumento para a gestão na Resex marinha Cuinarana, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-10-04) FERREIRA, Eliton Janio Araújo; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This study aims at investigating the environmental education actions in Cuinarana Extractive Reserve, maily, considering these points: analyze the environmental education actions developed by the several actors in the RESEX area; inquiry the possible contributions of Environmental Education to the management of the Reserve; suggest guidelines for RESEX management. The conceptual frameworks guiding this study are: Environmental Management, Participatory Management in Conservation Units and Environmental Education, analyzing its socio-environmental aspects, based on the actions of public managers and the community neighboring the reserve. The research locus is Cuinarana Marine Extractive Reserve, based in Magalhães Barata County, in the northeast region of Pará State, Brazil. The method chosen for the development of this research is the case study, with a qualitative approach, it involves bibliographical and documentary review on the field. Upon the investigation, the results show that environmental education actions carried out by local actors have little relation to participatory management in UC, and that there is a lack of knowledge about the purposes and importance of RESEX, caused by the lack of information and disarticulation among the actors.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental crítica e sustentabilidade em portos na Amazônia: o Programa de Educação Ambiental da Companhia Docas do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-05-08) NUNES, Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This work dissertational has the theme Environmental Education and port as its object the Environmental Education Program of the Dock Company of Pará presented as objective the descriptive analysis of this program in Miramar Petrochemical Terminal relating to the National Environmental Education (Law No. 9795 / 99) and other relevant laws. It questioned the effectiveness of environmental education as a public policy. In order to meet environmental laws do Pará Dock Company (CDP) in partnership with the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) through the Study Group on Education, Culture and Environment (GEAM) in 2005 deploys the Education Program Environment at the Port of Vila do Conde, Port of Santarem, in 2007 in Miramar Petrochemical Terminal program that reaches both the officials of the ports and terminals and to the neighborhoods surrounding communities through various activities (courses, workshops and lectures) related to Environmental Education. The methodology used was documentary research from the descriptive analysis of the Activity Reports of the Environmental Education Program in Petrochemical Terminal Miramar. Used as the theoretical understanding of the object to the assumptions of historical and dialectical materialism related to the concept of Environmental Education critical, emancipatory, and transformative popular, since we are faced with a scenario of environmental unsustainability through policies of unbridled exploitation of natural resources and threat to biodiversity, biomes, ecosystems and have repercussions on increasing social and environmental inequalities. Thus, we conclude that the Environmental Education Program of the Dock Company of Pará should be understood as an element of legitimacy and effectiveness of the National Environmental Education, this policy is the result of social demands, but that is an answer and reveal the face of reformist and conservative the state and the capitalist system in its actions. Therefore, despite advances in the debates and discussions that envisioned in the descriptive analysis of the program, it needs to emphasize the need to overcome the reality of global socio-environmental crisis in their practice to enable effective transformations relating the local to global.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental e gestão de unidades de conservação: um estudo de caso na Área de Proteção Ambiental Algodoal-Maiandeua(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-12-13) VILHENA, Klycia de Souza; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537It examines how the practices of environmental education has contributed to the strengthening and consolidation of the management of protected areas, from the speech of the local community. It was adopted Algodoal-Maiandeua Environmental Protection Area (APA) as the locus of research. Hundred households were interviewed in the four communities of APA Algodoal-Maiandeua: Algodoal Village, Fortalezinha Village, Camboinha Village and Mocoóca Village. It was found that environmental education has contributed little to the consolidation of the environmental management of the protected area for the following reasons: low frequency of actions, lack of continuity of actions, not involving the local community in planning and implementation of actions, resulting in action that does not include issues considered important by the local community, lack of management in conservation area, environmental education focused on visitors, restricted to periods called “high season” actions – July, New Year and holidays – where an increase occurs in flow of visitation on the island of Algodoal-Maiandeua. It was noted that the low degree of effectiveness of actions implemented environmental education contributes to the UC not fully play its role as a conservation unit, being necessary to the broad restructuring of management, so that it can be implemented as provided in the National System of Units Conservation.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental e gestão participativa em unidades de conservação: estudo de caso na área de proteção ambiental da Fazendinha, Macapá-AP(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-06-24) RIBEIRO, Francisco Michael de Brito; MORAES, Sérgio Cardoso de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4568311568729454; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This research aimed to analyze how the actions of Environmental Education were able to contribute to participatory environmental management in APA Fazendinha; and also proposed to carry out an analysis of the perception of residents about the institutional action of the unit managing body, as well as their involvement in the management of the APA. The concept of environmental education, adopted in this work, is based on the theoretical assumptions of Frederick Loureiro, according to which debate on participatory management of Conservation Units (UC ) by transforming environmental education. Regarding the design of participatory management, we adopted the assumptions of José Quintas who argues about education in public management process. As a method of approach the case study was adopted, and for analyzing the qualitative and quantitative method. Empirical data were recorded in analog form through questionnaires, with structured and semi- structured questions; and digital format MP3 extension. The audio files were transcribed into text files in .txt format. Already the data from the questionnaires were tabulated in the software database SPSS v15 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). The participants were people Reference 150 families residing in the APA, as well as members of the Management Board of the APA and technicians of the SEMA. As a result it was found that the UC does not have Management Plan, which helps to engender several environmental conflicts such as environmental degradation due to urban expansion and predatory activities (deforestation, burning, hunting, waste, pollution, etc.); It has a Management Council that does not meet frequently and therefore can not perform their institutional duties. Still can mention the inefficient management of the APA governing body that does not monitor and supervise the unit. There was also that EA has little contributed to the consolidation of environmental management unit the following factors: environmental education sporadic and occasional, lack of continuity in the actions; no involvement of the local community in the planning and implementation of environmental education, as well as the low effectiveness of the Council and the Governing Body that interact little and articulate with the local community in search of a participatory management. Therefore, it is important that the governing body understand environmental education as an alternative guidance and management to drive, in addition to being seen as an environmental public policy strategy, based on participative management between the government and local stakeholders (residents, leaders, Association, cooperatives, etc.), so that together discuss and decide the course of the APA Fazendinha and can thus strengthen the environmental management of UC and lead to sustainability.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental e interdisciplinaridade: da formação inicial à prática pedagógica na educação básica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-11-14) AVELAR, Marcilene Calandrine de; LAUTERT, Luiz Fernando de Carli; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1124000795676509; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537Theinsertion of environmental education (EE) in an interdisciplinary and permanent manner has been a real challenge for the educational system, both in higher and basic education, since the creation of the National Policy of Environmental Education, Law 9795/99. However, attempts have been made over those yearsto fertilize an approach in the theoretical field and its practical implementation, oriented by the contextualization, articulation and resignification of environmental knowledges. Based on this, this research aims to recognize the existence and organization of EE in the curriculum of the PARFOR-Pedagogia-UFPA (National Plan for the Training of Basic Education Teachers, Pedagogy, Federal University of Pará) course and its contributions tothe application of interdisciplinary pedagogical practices at São Miguel Municipal School in Abaetetuba/PA. The theoretical discourse is based on the concepts of EE on the conservationist, pragmatic and critical emancipator macrotrends for understanding the complexity of environmental issues, according to authors Loureiro and Layrargues, Leff, Morin, among other authors who deal with the subject. Regarding the type of research, action research with a qualitative approach was chosen. For data collection, a documentary analysis was first made in the Pedagogical Political Project of the Course (PPC), followed by a questionnaire for 30 teachers/students from the PARFOR-Pedagogia-UFPA, and for the investigation of the pedagogical practice in the basic education, the systematic observation of the pedagogical practices at School. The results were systematized through mental maps and point to a gradual change in the insertion of EE in the higher education curriculum and the conception of the importance of effective interdisciplinary practices in basic education, although there are still gaps throughout the educational process. These findings were fundamental for the elaboration of the research product that consisted of an interactive and interdisciplinary paradidactic book of Environmental Education, elaborated together with two teachers and twenty-two students of themultigrade class of the 4th and 5th grade from elementary school I of São Miguel Municipal School in Abaetetuba/PA. The validation of the paradidactic book was made through a questionnaire applied to the 30 participating teachers/students and another 10 teachers from a municipal school in Ananindeua/PA. The results showed that the book is an interdisciplinary didactic resource, with potential applicability in different contexts and that will enable the student to learn significantly in relation to socio-environmentalissues.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental no licenciamento: um estudo do programa de educação ambiental na transamazônica - município de Brasil Novo-Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-09-12) MAFRA, Kelly Soares; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This paper presents a study on the environmental education program of the BR-230 held in the Brazilian city New Brazil, state of Para, during the environmental licensing process of the work of paving of BR-230 (Trans) highway. The objective refers to an analysis of the results of actions taken by the Environmental Education Program of BR-230 in the municipality of Novo Brazil, from 2009 to 2011 The theoretical and methodological framework of a qualitative approach that focuses on the analysis the Environmental Education Program from the perspective of critical environmental education. The collection and analysis of data was carried out semi-structured interviews directed to basic education teachers and supplemented with information sought documents related to the Program. The results of the survey scale the importance of theoretical reflection on pedagogical processes used to carry out the Environmental Education Program under the. The research reveals from the analysis of the statements of interviewees that there is a joint effort between the proposed action developed by the Program and environmental issues of local reality; the actions provided subject to new knowledge and experiences that are meaningful in their teaching practices, as in the preparation of projects and the improvement of educational planning. Therefore the environmental actions taken by the BR-230 program are relevant and contribute to a critical reflection on the lifestyle and culture of the individuals involved, however, it is seen in the testimonies the need to overcome the conservationist vision as a possible expansion of prospect of action.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental para a sustentabilidade da Amazônia Atlantica: desafios da Reserva Extrativista Marinha Araí-Peroba(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-10-24) SILVA, Elba Renata Picanço da; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This dissertation seeks to problematize discussions about Environmental Education, seen as a fundamental tool for raising awareness and social participation in tackling the contemporary socio-environmental crisis. In this scenario, it is based on the understanding that schools have the social role of making a decisive contribution to promoting a better quality of life in the community, through educational practices aimed at sustainability. The aim of this research was to analyze the Environmental Education practices developed at the Emiliano Picanço da Costa Municipal Elementary and Secondary School, located in the Araí-Peroba Marine Extractive Reserve, in the municipality of Augusto Corrêa, Pará. This is an applied study with a qualitative approach, of a descriptive and exploratory nature, whose literature review was carried out through bibliographical and documentary research, and whose research strategy was the case study of the Emiliano Picanço da Costa Municipal Elementary and Secondary School. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with management, teachers, pedagogical coordinators and students, using non-probabilistic sampling, as well as direct observations, recorded in a field diary. The information was organized and categorized using content analysis. The results showed that the school faces several challenges in integrating environmental education into its pedagogical practices. The current approach is considered insufficient, as is ongoing training in Environmental Education, which hinders the implementation of more targeted and contextualized pedagogical practices at the school. The lack of institutional support and sporadic actions are also pointed out as obstacles, limiting the impact of educational actions. The conclusion is that, in order to overcome these barriers, coordinated initiatives must be taken to strengthen teacher training and promote greater integration between the curriculum of the Emiliano Picanço da Costa School and the socio-environmental reality of the Araí-Peroba RESEX.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Empreendimentos econômicos e política ambiental na Amazônia: um estudo sobre os programas ambientais e a educação ambiental no contexto da Mineração Alcoa no município de Juruti no estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-09-27) VELLOSO, Leônidas Pompeu Leão; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This work aims to study the relationships that have to build from the installation of Bauxite Mine Extraction Company by Alcoa in the municipality of Juruti. The objective is to study the social and environmental impact that the installation of mining is causing and from a critical and emancipatory understand how the state, society and business are related and what interests are served. The theoretical construction of this work takes as a foundation for discussion of environmental complexity, environmental education in environmental management, development processes in Amazonia, democracy and modes of production, together with these elements that the discussion of the logic of capital. The mining company has to change production methods and habits of a significant part of local people to understand that the methodology was the lifting of quantitative and qualitative data, which were constructed from interviews with local actors, information collected through institutions working with statistical data and literature surveys for the construction of the theoretical discussion together with the reports that were presented in the media. The analysis of the indicators presented by the company and its program of environmental education were two important instruments for the analysis of work, because it is possible to see how weak the process of building a real alternative to improving the lives of people where the lack of governance and straightforward way to ensure governance dictate orders. The completion of the work shows that the social and environmental impact caused by the company significantly changed the lives of local people, their habits, their customs, their mode of production. Promoted the increase of diseases and injuries caused by poisonous animals, caused the swelling of the headquarters of the city and that so far the measures the company took in March of mitigation are small impacts, such as improving the selective collection of solid waste.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Formação continuada de professores em educação ambiental: o curso de extensão em educação ambiental, escolas sustentáveis e com-vida no município de Capitão Poço-PA, processos e resultados(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-03-08) MELO, Cilane da Silva; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This dissertation addresses the continuing education of teachers in environmental education, since the relevance of the discussion on environmental issues is essential within the school environment. The perspective presented is that in view of the growing demand for knowledge in the environmental field, teachers are encouraged to improve their training, in this context distance education (EAD) can contribute positively to the continuing education of teachers. The general objective of the dissertation is to analyze the contribution of the Extension Course in Environmental Education, Sustainable Schools and Com-Vida for the ongoing training in environmental issues in the municipality of Capitão Poço-PA. To do so, the methodology used is characterized by semi-structured interviews with the graduates of the course, the research has a qualitative and quantitative approach with the collection of primary and secondary data from interviews and analysis of documents and bibliographic references. The results indicated that the extension course constituted an important initiative for the continuous training of teachers in the environmental theme, since it was the first training in the environmental area that many graduates of the course had. However, the analysis of the data points out that the practices that are developed in the schools of the municipality by the teachers are still linked to the conservative bias of environmental education in contrast with the critical propositions, evidencing themselves as occasional actions in certain commemorative dates. Therefore, implementing environmental education in school goes beyond teacher training, as it involves secondary issues such as teacher career instability, teacher turnover, structural-physical problems in the school environment. Teachers represent an important role as the materiality of environmental education in the school environment and through the Comissão de Meio Ambiente e Qualidade de Vida (Com-Vida) can contribute significantly to the changes in school space and promoting the transformation into spaces for sustainable educators.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Formação continuada de professores: um estudo do Curso de Aperfeiçoamento em Educação Ambiental no município de Moju no ano de 2014(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-07-08) COSTA, Deyse Danielle Souza da; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537The present study analyzes the From the look Improvement Course graduates in Environmental Education (CAEA), contributions and limitations of continuing training processes paragraph teachers As implementation of the National Policy. This research presents still environmental education as a management tool, not only from its reductionist vision, restricted to human action of depositing waste in inappropriate places, but most of all, from a systemic, interdisciplinary and critic discussion that problematize the complex relations involving environmental issues in its multiple aspects, in addition to the bureaucratic formalism, and build new rational cultures that make it possible to develop actions of transformations and emancipations that actually contribute to the social well-being. For that, were performed several field research that sought to identify the vulnerability and designing environmental education of the population resident in the neighborhood Montese, to draw the profile of the resident of that neighborhood, to identify points of flood and flooding and the actions of the organs legally responsible for the management of risks and natural disasters. Therefore, it was concluded that the cases of flooding in Montese neighborhood will continue to occur, given the physical characteristics of the land and the high rainfall in the region, but, above all, by the absence or ineffectiveness of integrated territorial planning focused on the specificity of the local population public policy, the need for continuous and permanent programs and actions of environmental education in the community, with the purpose of providing environmental rationality and/or awareness that transforms the human being and your space lived, as well as by the precariousness of basic constitutional rights of the citizen.
