Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Agricultores familiares e a educação de jovens e adultos em Mocajuba / PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-02-03) LAUANDE, Eduardo André Risuenho; SOUZA, Orlando Nobre Bezerra de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8567141884452588This dissertation refers to questions related to educatiou of goung and adult and rural education in Mocajuba/Pa, that has, as principal focus, farmer`s family students in that town. The central questions are: how that kind of education and rural education are historically constituted in Mocajuba? And what is the real situation of the education offered there to all those students nowadays? Answers to these questions were gotten by information from: 1) book research – to talk about agriculture history and state of affairs in Brazil, Pará and Mocajuba; 2) history VI studying about education of young and adults, and about rural education in Brazil, Pará and Mocajuba, as well as research and official data and documents collection, in order to make a map of the present situation of young and adults education that is offered by official institutions; 3) analyses of data collected in schools and interviews from farmer`s family students, teachers and community and trade union leadership. Analysing statements, it was possible to identify a great advance in human, politic and technical aspect that farmer`s family students have gotten, when they go back to school or go to it for the first time. So, they can improve ther knowledge and, consequently, they can have better life quality.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Construção de políticas públicas de educação ambiental em Belém do Pará de 1997-2004(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2004-10-11) FREITAS, Sandra Cristina Santiago; SOUZA, Orlando Nobre Bezerra de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8567141884452588This paper discusses the Environmental Education for Sustainability trying to analyze the construction of the Environmental Education Program for Belém (PEAMB) relations, processes and contents that characterize the unfolding of public politics in relation of the international, national and state politics the period of 1997 to 2004. The sociological research tried to follow an interdisciplinary approach and a dialectical perspective to apprehend the object investigated by literature review and documentary research. From this perspective, the reference categories for analysis were examined, defined and classified as follows: Expanded state, public policy, transformative and emancipatory environmental education, social and environmental sustainability. The Documentary research involved, selecting, collecting, processing and analysis of treaties, laws, plans, programs, projects and reports built on the international, national (Brazil), state (Pará) and municipal (Belém – PA). The data contained in the documents were investigated using the technique of discourse analysis considering the told and not told linguistic, sociological, political and psychological aspects by the subjects, facilitating the understanding of the contents, intentions and ideologies. The survey results were organized into four chapters: 1. Introduction; 2. Environmental education in the context of reforms; 3. Setting Environmental Education in Belém: action and emotion; 4. Conclusion: perspectives and horizons of Environmental Education in Belém. It is noticed that the definition process of the Municipal System of Environmental Education and the PEAMB in Belém, indicates a concern with the current problems of unsustainable and try to implement international agreements as well as national, state and local determinations that guide of qualified and committed way the social and environmental sustainability with central reference the Treaty on Environmental Education for Sustainable Societies and Global Responsibility, proposed by Organized Civil Society of some countries during the ECO/92 and reaffirmed by the Brazilian Federal Government in the National Program of Environmental Education in 2005. Integration, popular participation and social control were central elements identified in complex building process of PEAMB that involved accumulations, confrontation and consensus between the political and civil society making peculiar and important the examined experience during the management of a left-wing government.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Democracia e eleição de dirigentes escolares no sistema municipal de ensino de Belém: análises e perspectivas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-12-29) GUEDES, Maria Gorete Rodrigues Cardoso; SOUZA, Orlando Nobre Bezerra de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8567141884452588The research was turned toward the inquiry of the institutionalization process of the direct election of pertaining to school controllers in the Municipal System of Education of Belém, as dimension of the projects pedagogical politicians and produced by the municipal managements in the period of 1993 the 2006. The objective was to analyze the advances, limits and perspectives of the proposals of election of controllers, established under the optics of the plan of the deed of division-legal orientations of the educational system. The used methodological orientation was of the bibliographical research and the documentary analysis. Through a detailed study of main official documents produced by the municipal administrations, it was intended to identify to the scienters politics of the respective governments in the delimited period and to characterize its respective educational projects and proposals of election of pertaining to school controllers, as well as perceiving the conception of democracy and inherent democratic management to the same ones. The results reached with the inquiry in take them to infer that the process of democratization of the pertaining to school management in the SME, saw the election of pertaining to school controllers, is not something finished and defined, but a permanent construction, marked for gone and comings, jibs and advances, that point with respect to distinct perspectives and horizons and reach the most different ideological shades. Therefore, it can be affirmed that the pertaining to school democracy in the SME is not, but is being constructed in accordance with to the possibilities and constaints presented at each historical moment and with the capacity of the educational actors to incorporate the established institucional democracy.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A escola da Vila da Paz: um ensaio etnográfico(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2003-03-25) OLIVEIRA, Mara Rita Duarte de; SOUZA, Orlando Nobre Bezerra de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8567141884452588At the work “School rural da Vila da Paz”: the research about culture, political, economic and social that bucolic community, we Will discuss the program’s execution “School Ativa” at the rural schools from Rondon do Pará, where we’ll analyze the E.M.E.F Vasco da Gama school (located at Vila da Paz society) as the main point of this text. Along all of this study we’ll have questions about how this program improved the students’ knowledge’s and show the teachers a better way of teaching, at the same time we are discussing the population to develop this program, emphasizing the school and community relationship importance. It is a research characterized as quantitative and qualitative, once the data had statistical and interpretative treatment with base in the content analysis. The Stratified Random Probability Method was used for the selection of the sample. The instruments of collection of data were the following ones: the direct observation and the interview through form and of itinerary. The corpus of the research was constituted in the speech of thirty young of the gender masculine or feminine, in the age group from 15 to 24 years and that they belong an origin family or of reproduction. The conclusive approaches revealed that the youth production of that establishment, in general, nurtures expectations of exercising activities different from the farming, with the purpose of improving their life condition; it wants to transmit values and social rules, aiming at to give continuity to the you know acquired in the origin family; it hopes to get a work/employment/professional formation, looking for a sense the own existence, as well as wants to constitute family, to have a companion and children with the purpose of reproducing the model of effective family. Those hopes, in its group, moderate for the sphere of politics that make possible rural development.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Trabalho infanto-juvenil no uso do manguezal e a educação fundamental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2002-04-30) BLANDTT, Lucinaldo da Silva; SOUZA, Orlando Nobre Bezerra de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8567141884452588Work of 6 to 14 years old children is important for the survival of their families, however, it does not contribute to the monetary family income that based upon commercial fisheries, crab processing and agriculture. From an age of 4 years onwards children are encouraged to work by their parents. However, only 7 years old boys and 5 years old girls contribute significantly to the subsistence of their families. From an age of 14 years parents push their children to earn money by selling products to local agents. For teenagers remunerated work is indispensable for self support. 40% of the children between 7 and 14 years work instead of going to school which is a big obstacle for their education. The socio-economic and educational situation of children and teenagers living in the Bragança area may be improved by the process of participation and transdisciplinarity, as an effective sustainability element, as it may allow them to escape from the poverty cycle that their families are part of far generations.
