Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alocação ótima de geração distribuída em redes de distribuição utilizando algoritmo híbrido baseado em cuckoo search e algoritmo genético(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-09-02) OLIVEIRA, Victoria Yukie Matsunaga de; AFFONSO, Carolina de Mattos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2228901515752720This thesis presents a novel Cuckoo Search (CS) algorithm called Cuckoo-GRN (Cuckoo Search with Genetically Replaced Nests), which incorporates the benefits of genetic algorithm (GA) into the CS algorithm. The proposed method handles the abandoned nests from CS more efficiently by genetically replacing them, significantly improving the performance of the algorithm by establishing optimal balance between diversification and intensification. The algorithm is used for the optimal location and size of distributed generation units in a distribution system, in order to minimise active power losses while improving system voltage stability and voltage profile. The allocation of single and multiple distribution generation units is considered. The proposed algorithm is extensively tested in mathematical benchmark functions as well as in the 33-bus and 119-bus distribution systems. Simulation results show that Cuckoo-GRN can lead to a substantial performance improvement over the original CS algorithm and others techniques currently known in literature, regarding not only the convergence but also the solution accuracy.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação de estratégias de controle de potência reativa de aerogeradores síncronos em redes elétricas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-18-11) NASCIMENTO, André Cavalcante do; BEZERRA, Ubiratan Holanda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6542769654042813; NUNES, Marcus Vinícius Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9533143193581447In the present work a methodology of reactive power injection in electric grids during voltage dips provoked by short-circuit, in connected wind farms, adopted at some countries with technological maturity in the production of wind energy in the world is evaluated. In the developed studies, the direct drive synchronous wind generator was used with full converter due to the high controllability of the converter connected to the electric grid and for possessing high capacity of reactive power supply, compared to other wind generators technologies. In Brazil, the grid code to connect wind farms to the electric grids, defined by the National Operator of the Electrical System, doesn't stipulate yet the need of adoption of such methodology during faults in the electric grid. It just specifies the ride through apability curve for voltage dips that the wind generators should follow to avoid the trip of the undervoltage relay. Criteria of the synchronous wind generators protection are evaluated starting from short-circuit simulations in a test grid with adoption of the Brazilian grid code, without reactive power injection, being compared with those of other countries that adopt reactive power injection curves.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Investigação e desenvolvimento de um framework para testes de estratégias de controle automático visando melhoria de desempenho em servidores web apache(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-08-29) BARRETO, Marcos Vinicius Sadala; BARRA JUNIOR, Walter; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0492699174212608In this work, a study is carried out for the computational development of automatic control tests in computer response systems to “HTTP” “Apache” request. In particular, the implementation details and results in an environment for digital performance control of the HTTP response system are discussed. Thus, it was necessary to design and develop an environment for performing data collection in the computational system that provides the response service to “HTTP” requests and makes interventions in the values of the available parameters in order to control the system automatically in closed loop. The parameter to be obtained as endogenous variable of the computational system is MaxRequestWorks, and the exogenous one will be the amount of memory consumed. The tool developed modifies neither the source code of the response software to the clients’ “HTTP” requests nor the operating system code of the host computer, being non-intrusive regarding original system configuration. A proportional-integral (PI) controller was designed in order to keep the average perceived time response of “HTTP” messages regulated. Experimental tests carried out on an Apache server show the improvement obtained on the system's time response.
