Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise de sensor plasmônico na configuração emissão acoplada via função de Green 3D(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-09-28) CRUZ, André Felipe Souza da; DMITRIEV, Victor Alexandrovich; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3139536479960191; COSTA, Karlo Queiroz da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7932708321834647In the present work, a theoretical study on a plasmon resonance sensor in the Surface Plasmon Coupled Emission (SPCE) configuration is presented. Coupled to the sensor structure is a microfluidic channel containing suspended target particles (gold nanoparticles functionalized to attract fluorescent molecules), which when excited and immobilized upon the sensor structure can be efficiently modeled as a planar array of induced dipoles. The electromagnetic modeling of the device was performed by the magnetic potential, defined by means of the Periodic Green Function (PGF) 3D. The electromagnetic fields are presented in terms of the discrete spectral representation by the complex double Fourier series, and to reduce the number of terms in the series, it is proposed the use the Euler identity. Firstly, parametric field results are presented in the sensor structure, and then the spectral analysis of the magnetic potential field is performed, where the SPP and SW poles appear in the spectral domain. For the validation of the method, the limit case was analyzed, in which the particles are distant from each other, and compared with published works. Finally, results and discussions about the convergence of series in the cosine PGF are presented. The results show good agreement, showing that the theoretical method of PGF 3D is efficient, and can be used as a tool in the design of this sensing device.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Portas lógicas totalmente ópticas baseado em interferômetro de Michelson com amplificador óptico semicondutor(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-08-24) OLIVEIRA, Jackson Moreira; COSTA, Marcos Benedito Caldas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7636226766852440In this work, proposes all-optical logic gates device structure based on a Michelson interferometer (MI) composed of semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) forming a structure of SOA-MI logic devices with symmetrically identical Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) at the output of each of its arms, for numerical simulation of the all-optical AND, OR and NOR logic gates of two binary input signals with different bit numbers using the cross-gain modulation (XGM) technique at 10 Gb/s bit rate and filter bandwidth at 10, 20 and 40 GHz using OptiSystem 15.0 software by OptiWave Corporation, to demonstrate and extract simple design rules for high-speed optical processing and analysis of non-linear SOA-induced properties. In addition, this work includes the study of the effect of bandwidth and number of bits on received power, minimum bit error rate (BER), maximum quality factor (Q-factor), Optical Signal to Noise Ratio (OSNR) and optical spectrum, which demonstrates high-speed gates and performance. Were run the SOA-MI-based logic gates with some parameters and the results can demonstrate a structure of high-performance optical logic devices with high speed.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Projeto de controlador preditivo: abordagem polinomial e no espaço de estados(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-09-28) SILVA, Mauro Gomes da; SILVEIRA, Antonio da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1828468407562753; COSTA JÚNIOR, Carlos Tavares da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6328549183075122In this study, predictive controllers of the Generalized Predictive Controller (GPC) and MPCSS (Model Predictive Controller State Space). The main objective is to provide a comparative study of performance and dynamic stability between these control structures, when submitted to processes with distinct dynamic characteristics and in the presence of load disturbance at plant output and noise. The study presents the design of unconstrained GPC and MPCSS controllers, applied to monovariable systems, using the process model and the cost function incrementally. For the GPC controller design, a predictive model is used to predict the output of the process over a time horizon with the output being composed of measured signals of the past inputs-outputs and the future control signal. However, the MPCSS project is developed in the state space representation domain, with feedback of estimated states using a state observer using the Kalman Filter equations. The MPCSS controller has its inherited structure from the project model, where variables of states with physical behavior, enter into obtaining a law of control by feedback of estimated states. Numerical simulations are applied to evaluate the designs of the presented controllers.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Regulação de tensão e frequência em micro-redes ilhadas com veículos elétricos e geração distribuída utilizando otimização por enxame de partículas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-08-16) SILVA, Rodrigo Veiga da; AFFONSO, Carolina de Mattos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2228901515752720This workpresents afrequency and voltage control implementation for a droop-regulated islanded microgrid through Direct Backward Forward Sweep Load-Flow Method (DBFS) modeled as a particle swarm optimization (PSO) problem. The PSO –allied with the Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology of electric vehicles–controls the microgrid droop features to improve its steady-state frequency and voltage. Thus, working as a secondary control action. Simulations are performed in a 33-bus distribution system with distributed generators and electric vehicles operating over a 24-hour period.Theproposal of secondary control, based on PSO, proved to be versatile and efficient in face of load and generation variations.
