    Abordagens sobre a condição de classe das juventudes da Amazônia

    This work analyzes the inclusion of Amazon youth in the social context and its class condition. As a research problem we try to understand: what the youths of the class condition of the Amazon, from the analysis of official data on the Youth in the state of Para? Therefore, by conducting desk research and the collection of official data, the following categories were organized: urban youth and violence; Amazonian youth: work/employment and income; and Youth Amazonian and education. The document analysis revealed that the youth paraense working origin is strongly subjected to urban violence including in fatal consequences, has a premature and unskilled labor and that the school market does not arise as a capable alternative to promote a more humanizing training these young people

    Ensino médio integrado: implicações nas práticas docentes e nas questões de gestão e financiamento público

    This paper discusses the establishment of the integrated secondary school, presenting elements to its materialization in the school environment, taking in account management procedures, teaching practices and funding. It is a bibliographic research, based on historical and dialectical materialism, considering that the educational policies represent class interests and that the integrated perspective in debate is set up in the interests of the working class, opposing itself to the dual training actions intended by the capital. Frigotto (2005; 2008), Gramsci (1978), Saviani (2006), Paro (2001), among others, have become dialogical references in this work. The analyses indicate that the integrated secondary school implies a political stance focused to a societal project linked to workers' interests, corroborating for that public funding processes of public school and a materialization of democratic and participative management as well as teaching practices for human emancipation in the view of the working class.

    O ensino médio no estado do Pará: os indicadores de oferta nas regiões de integração do Marajó e metropolitana de Belém no ano de 2014

    This work aims to analyze, from the INEP database, the offer of public secondary education in the Integration Regions of Marajó and Metropolitana de Belém, in the year 2014. It is a bibliographical research, characterized as Quantitative. The results of this research reveal that the number of high school enrollments has been slowing down, as well as the precariousness of the conditions of access and permanence of our students, as well as the public services provided in the school. Many young people who depend on public education are left out of the educational process, which compromises their basic social right to offer and guarantee a compulsory, free and quality basic education. We conclude that, in order to deconstruct this scenario, there is a need for large investments by the Government of Pará in quality public secondary education.

    Universidade e trabalho: a função social da educação frente ao mundo do trabalho

    We recoup the work concept as vital activity by means of which the man satisfies its necessities, produces the culture and institutions as the State, we rescue some theses on the relation between the work sphere and education sphere and, from the understanding that the function of the work and the education is to produce the humanizing, we problematized the manners as the work is being done at Brazilian Amazônia, marked for a predatory use of the work force and of the environment. Finally we raised some considerations about the necessity of the education in general and of the university, particularly, articulated with a social project of valuation of the work and preservation of the material and incorporeal wealth of Amazônia.
