Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O epicentro do Hotel Central: arte e literatura em Belém do Pará, 1946-1951(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008) CANGUSSU, Dawdson Soares; FIGUEIREDO, Aldrin Moura de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4671233730699231This dissertation discusses the presence of contemporary literature of the 40’s, mainly the influence of the existentialist philosophy, on literature of the young poets who published in the Arte-Literatura supplement, which circulated with the newspaper Folha do Norte between the years 1946 and 1951. This work of social history of literature demand viewing in the literature of the young people of Café Central a disenchantment over it’s recent past, both in the political-social as in literature. The wok also examines the significance of the Arte- Literatura supplement in upgrading and building of the identity of the young intellectual that changed the direction of local literature.
