Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sistema de Organização Modular de Ensino (SOME): avaliação da conformidade da gestão em um município paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-08-17) CHAGAS, Carina Furtado; FIGUEIREDO, Silvio José de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2578700144404800; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6810-1639Due to the rural education scenario in the state of Pará, in 1980 was established the “Sistema de Organização Modular de Ensino (SOME)”, a public education policy instituted by law 7.806 / 2014, which aims to guarantee the right to primary education for people with no access to regular education. Initially conceived as a temporary solution, it was expanded and remained in several locations, so it became a policy of great relevance. As an educational policy that looks for a better education for people living in the countryside, SOME has to follow the rules that guide the practices of rural schools since it defines the minimum quality standards to be followed. Therefore, the present research aims to analyze the conformity of this policy with the norms that regulate rural education in Brazil. The research was done through bibliographic research, document analysis, semi-structured interviews with teachers, managers, and students, and on-site observation. The analysis results indicated that some dimensions of this policy's management still act in disagreement with what is defined by law, demonstrating a need to rethink solutions and adjustments to achieve its objectives better.
