Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ação pública socioambiental em questão: desafios da cogestão de uma Resex Marinha na Amazônia brasileira(Universidade Federal da Bahia, 2022) OLIVEIRA, Marcelo do Vale; RIBEIRO, Tânia Guimarães; TEISSERENC, Maria José da Silva AquinoItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desafios na inclusão de saberes e práticas socioambientais locais no Plano de Manejo da Resex marinha Caeté-Taperaçu(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-06) OLIVEIRA, Marcelo do ValeThe general objective is to understand the challenges of including local social and environmental knowledge and practices in the co-production of the Resex Caeté-Taperaçu Management Plan. The central question is what are the challenges of including local socioenvironmental practices in the co production of the Management Plan for the Caeté-Taperaçu marine resex? From an approach of the Sociology of Public Action (LASCOUMES and LE GALÈS, 2012; TEISSERENC and TEISSERENC, 2014) we link a new perspective of interdisciplinary view on public policies, in which the State has its centrality contested, with greater participation of different actors in discussions with implementations and management, based on new dynamics and local mobilizations. The analyzed database was constituted from documentary information and interviews of twenty people involved in the co production. And the main result shows that in a process so rich in learning and socioenvironmental achievements, it has not yet been possible to break with the hegemony of other interests linked to a rationality that is neither environmental nor local populations. However, the capacity to resist, to invent, to learn, from social segments such as traditional populations, in partnership with other segments of actors (teaching and research institutions, State bodies), has been able to impose itself, face political and economic forces that deny them, through the adoption of environmental conservation references.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Saberes e práticas socioambientais na pesca artesanal do caranguejo-uçá na Amazônia Bragantina (Pontinha do Bacuriteua-PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-03) OLIVEIRA, Marcelo do Vale; ALVES, Alexandre de BritoOur objective was to bright the knowledge related the socio-environmental practices of the crab pickers of the Pontinha de Bacuriteua community in Bragança-PA. The applied methodology was composed of semi-structured interviews, aided by direct observation. The main results were the identification that the knowledge of the biological cycles of the crab, the movements of the tides, the phases of the moon, the physical-chemical composition of soil are the essential instruments in the capture of the crustacean in focus. Such are composed of a set of knowledge that the gunners learned with and for previous generations and which are put into practice when moving around their workplaces, dailyItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Territórios e territorialidades no extrativismo de caranguejos em Pontinha de Bacuriteua, Bragança, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-04) OLIVEIRA, Marcelo do Vale; MANESCHY, Maria Cristina AlvesWithin mangroves along the Northern Brazilian coast, the extraction of crabs is a major activity, both economically and culturally. Mangroves are public domain areas, but the surrounding communities develop forms of appropriation that control access, in response to the growing markets for crabs in the region and beyond. The article analyses these institutions of property and the resulting conflicts, focusing the village Pontinha de Bacuriteua, in the municipality of Bragança, State of Pará. It is based upon qualitative research with ten skilled professionals. After observations and interviews conducted between 2011 and 2012, the study found the existence of temporary territories of work, at the same time the communities share concepts about free access to mangroves. We suggest more research and public debate with the active participation of the workers on the relationship between local territorialities and the sustainable harvesting of crabs. This is an important issue considering that the area is located within a protected area, the Reserva Extrativista Marinha Caeté-Taperaçu.
