Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise da influência do formato de elemento de concreto e propriedades de fibras de aço na tenacidade à flexão(Rede Latino-Americana de Materiais, 2018-10) OLIVEIRA, Marco Antonio Barbosa de; RAMOS, Edson Marcos Leal Soares; OLIVEIRA, Dênio Ramam Carvalho de; POMPEU NETO, Bernardo BorgesConcrete characterizing studies with steel fibers starting from the assay of the traction on flexural of prisms to obtain the toughness flexural have being done to the parameterization of the mechanic behavior of concrete pipes with steel fibers. The study aim is to adjust curves modeling the toughness estimates to the flex on concrete pipes in function to the toughness flexural on prims, both with steel fibers randomly oriented and moreover verify if there is or there is not significant statistic difference among toughness average to flexural when compared to the concrete element form (pipe or prism), and the priorities of steel fibers: Form Factor (65 or 80), State (free or joined to the basis comb) and theoretical fiber consumptions (0,25% or 0,38% or 0,50%). Curves were adjusted modeling the concrete pipe toughness with steel fibers in function of prism flexural toughness, being possible to observe that larger is the prism flexural toughness the larger will be the pipe flexural toughness. The analysis of variance was used to evaluate the existence or not of significant statistic difference among double or triple or quadruples associations. It was individually found that there is not significant statistic difference among the average values of toughness flexural, when compared concrete elements forms, however, there is significant statistic average values of toughness flexural when compared: (i) Form Factor; (ii) State and (iii) Theoretical Fiber Consumption. There was influence on the average values of flexural toughness when we make associations among the different levels of form factors, state and theoretical consumptions on fibers.Item Desconhecido Chapas de cimento-madeira com resíduos da indústria madeireira da Região Amazônica(2012-06) MACÊDO, Alcebíades Negrão; SOUZA, Alberto Alexandre Costa e; POMPEU NETO, Bernardo BorgesThe aim of this study was to to evaluate the use of waste from the timber industry of the Brazilian Amazon Region in the production of wood-cement composites. The compatibility of six Amazon hardwood native species with cement CP V ARI was assessed through axial compression tests in cylindrical specimens. The waste was used was only treated by washing in hot water for two hours. The ratio cement/wood was 3:1 in mass, along with aluminum sulfate curing accelerators at 3%, and calcium chloride curing accelerators at 3% and 5%. The results of the axial compression tests indicated the potential use of waste for three species combined with calcium chloride curing accelerator treatment at 5%. Wood-cement particleboards were made with waste of the species Cedrela odorata L. (Cedar), Vochysia maximum Ducke (Quaruba), Hymenaea courbaril L. (Jatoba) and a mixture of them. The test results of the physical and mechanical properties of the particleboards showed that all had adequate characteristics for the purpose, and the Cedar species particleboards presented the best performance.Item Desconhecido Efeitos do tipo, tamanho e teor de agregado graudo na resistencia e energia de fratura do concreto(Universidade Estadual de Campinas, 2004-09-28) POMPEU NETO, Bernardo Borges; DUCATTI, Vitor Antonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4679656185466685; FERREIRA, Itamar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9135346053526486This thesis presents the results of the experimental study carried out for considering the effects of the type, size and amount of coarse aggregate on the behavior of normal and high strength concretes, and on relationship among the fracture energy and typical mechanical strength of concrete. The experimental concrete mixtures were made with basalt and granite coarse aggregates having maximum size particle 9.5 mm e 19 mm and volumetrically fraction in the mixture ranging from 0.65 to 0.75. The water to cementation materiais ratio ranged from 0.35 to 0.50. The high strength concrete mixtures contained a fixed amount of 10 percent of silica fume in relation to the weight Portland cement used and a proper addition of superplasticizing agent. Sixteen (16) concrete batching, and one hundred and ninety two tests were carried out to measure the mechanical resistance of concrete (compressive strength, flexure strength, spittling tensile strength, modulus of elasticity) and fracture energy. The fracture properties measured in agreement of the RILEM test methods. The concrete compressive strength ranged from 40 to 60 MPa, and from 70 to 110 MPa, for moderate and high strength concretes, respectively, depending on the type of coarse aggregate utilized. The results showed that the concrete resistance (compressive, flexure, spittling tensile) and fracture energy, at given water to binder ratio, depend on type, particle dimension and content of coarse aggregate. The characteristic length of Hülerborg^ fictitions cracks model increases with the variation in the particle dimension of coarse aggregate.Item Desconhecido Efeitos do tipo, tamanho e teor de agregado graúdo no módulo de deformação do concreto de alta resistência(2011) POMPEU NETO, Bernardo Borges; OLIVEIRA, Dênio Ramam Carvalho de; RAMOS, DanielleConcrete, material with heterogeneous and complex composition, is the main structural material applied in the construction industry. From the structural point of view its main property is the mechanical strength. The behavior of concrete based on conceptual studies of granular resistance can lead to a safer structural design and better use of the material. This paper presents the results of a study conducted to evaluate the effects of type, size and content of coarse aggregates on the modulus of deformation of high strength concretes. The concrete mixture studied contains basalt or granite aggregates with maximum dimensions of 9.5 mm and 19.0 mm and water/cement ratio of 0.35. The deformation modulus of the material was determined using the linear length of Load-CMOD curve (displacement of the crack mouth opening) from three point bending tests performed using a middle span cracked beam, following the propositions made by the RILEM 89-FMT technical committee.Item Desconhecido Tubos de concreto produzidos com fibras de aço e agregados da região metropolitana de Belém do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-12) OLIVEIRA, Marco Antonio Barbosa de; MACÊDO, Alcebíades Negrão; POMPEU NETO, Bernardo Borges; CABRAL, Antonio Eduardo BezerraReinforced steel-fiber concrete pipes emerge as an interesting technological variant. In an incipient study of the locality, the main objective was to assess the technical feasibility of discontinued reinforced steel-fiber concrete pipes randomly oriented by the diametrical compression test for mechanical behaviour analysis. The second objective was to verify the water absorption and effective fiber content in the spigot, barrel and bell of the tube. In this study, DRAMIX 80/60 or 65/35 steel fibers were used (loose or glued) in the theoretical contents of 0.25%, 0.38% and 0.50%. The results indicated that the concrete pipes from the TCFA 80/60 - FCP series in the effective fiber contents of 0.36% and 0.50% and the TCFA 80/60 - FS series in all effective contents were the only ones that reached the minimum failure loading and post-cracking established by the NBR 8900 (ABNT, 2007). The water absorption results were below the maximum absorption recommended by NBR 8900 (ABNT, 2007) and there were higher levels of absorption and effective fiber content in the chain from the order spigot, barrel and bell. Finally, the technical feasibility of reinforced steel-fiber concrete pipes in the locality was shown to be timely.
