Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Tráfico de mulheres: um estudo sobre a produção acadêmica brasileira(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-09-05) PORTILHO, Ana Paula dos Santos; NASCIMENTO, Maria Antônia Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2918467728101022This dissertation elected as the object of study Brazilian academic production on Trafficking in Persons , especially trafficking in women for sexual exploitation in Brazil.The guiding research question was : How the methodological perspective of articulation categories of social class , race / ethnicity, gender has been crafted in the dissertations and theses that have as an object of study human trafficking ? The categories of analysis of this research were: human trafficking , trafficking of women ,gender, social class , race / ethnicity . This study aimed to know how the methodological perspective of articulation of the categories social class , race / ethnicity, gender has been crafted in the dissertations and theses that have as an object of study trafficking in persons and trafficking in women . The research conducted was anchored in the qualitative approach with an emphasis on literature review and analysis of works on the categories and contents of dissertations and theses. A universe of twenty (20) dissertations and one (01) PhD thesis, thirteen (13 ) dissertations and thesis were selected . The methodological approach guided by historical materialism dialectical articulation bound by social class , gender, race / ethnicity allowed to observe the progress and limits of that methodological approach in examining studies on trafficking in persons and women in Brazil . The results showed that although the methodology of the joint social class , gender, race / ethnicity is recognized by the authors does not exist a deeper analytical proposal , observing a central role in the gender category and terminology poverty as the main determinations of human trafficking , particularly the trafficking of women.
