In contrast to this wide and international scenery, Cabanagem was, and it still is, analyzed as regional movement, typical of the regency period. However, the "patriot" cabanos created, throughout the movement, a feeling of common identity shared by people of the different etnias cultures which it extrapolated these initial caracteristics. It reports the presidents of Pará province, time studies and political work are examined and in the center, the work Motins políticos, written by historian and political imperial Domingos Antônio Raiol, Guajará Baron.
