Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ação e raciocínio pedagógico de professoras de enfermagem: expressões em diferentes contextos educacionais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-08-27) MENEGAZ, Jouhanna do Carmo; BACKES, Vânia Marli Schubert; MOYA, José Luis MedinaObjective: to report sources of knowledge base for teaching, categories of knowledge base for teaching and phases of pedagogical reasoning and action of professors of higher education in Nursing in public and private universities in the South region of Brazil. Method: t collective study of instrumental cases with a qualitative approach. The cases involve the pedagogical reasoning and action of two professors of Nursing. Data collection incorporated documents, interviews and observation analyzed using the constant comparative method. The analysis gave rise to two metacategories, termed public case and private case, and their transversal axes: relationships between sources and knowledge base for teaching, relationships between categories of knowledge base for teaching, and relationships between knowledge base for teaching and the Model of Pedagogical Reasoning and Action. Results: there are distinct relationships between sources, knowledge base for teaching and phases of the Model in the cases’ pedagogical reasoning and action. Conclusion: emphasis is placed on hierarchization and linking in the relationships between Shulman’s constructs and encouragement to reflection, and broadening of the sources of knowledge base for teaching as a source of lecturer training is suggested.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Healthy aging profile in octogenarians in Brazil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-08-29) CAMPOS, Ana Cristina Viana; FERREIRA, Efigênia Ferreira e; VARGAS, Andréa Maria Duarte; GONÇALVES, Lucia Hisako TakaseObjective: to identify the healthy aging profile in octogenarians in Brazil. Method: this population-based epidemiological study was conducted using household interviews of 335 octogenarians in a Brazilian municipality. The decision-tree model was used to assess the healthy aging profile in relation to the socioeconomic characteristics evaluated at baseline. All of the tests used a p-value < 0.05. Results: the majority of the 335 participating older adults were women (62.1%), were aged between 80 and 84 years (50.4%), were widowed (53.4%), were illiterate (59.1%), had a monthly income of less than one minimum wage (59.1%), were retired (85.7%), lived with their spouse (63.8%), did not have a caregiver (60.3%), had two or more children (82.7%), and had two or more grandchildren (78.8%). The results indicate three age groups with a healthier aging profile: older adults aged 80 to 84 years (55.6%), older adults aged 85 years and older who are married (64.9%), and older adults aged 85 and older who do not have a partner or a caregiver (54.2%). Conclusion: the healthy aging profile of octogenarians can be explained by age group, marital status, and the presence of a caregiver.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Implicação do apoio social no viver de pessoas com hipertensão arterial(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Escola de Enfermagem, 2013-09) TAVARES, Roseneide dos Santos; SILVA, Denise Maria Guerreiro Vieira daThis study aimed to know the types of support offered by the network of social support and implications on hypertensive life. Qualitative study whose methodology was based on Grounded Theory. 35 people were interviewed between October 2008 and August 2010, 22 hypertensive compulsorily enrolled in HIPERDIA at a Health Unit in Belém / PA, 5 family members, 5 health professionals and 3 representatives of community institutions, referenced by hypertensive patients, as members of the network support. Data were subjected to coding procedures: analysis, comparison and categorization. The category "Identifying the types of social support offered to people in their living with hypertension" was the Intervening Condition of the Theory. The types of emotional, informational and instrumental support originated mainly from family relationships and may mean alternative treatments, featuring a care focused on people with hypertension and their network of relationships which requires attention from healthcare professionals, including nurses.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nursing workloads in family health: implications for universal access(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-03-28) PIRES, Denise Elvira Pires de; MACHADO, Rosani Ramos; SORATTO, Jacks; SCHERER, Magda Duarte dos Anjos; GONÇALVES, Ana Sofia Resque; TRINDADE, Letícia de LimaObjective: to identify the workloads of nursing professionals of the Family Health Strategy, considering its implications for the effectiveness of universal access. Method: qualitative study with nursing professionals of the Family Health Strategy of the South, Central West and North regions of Brazil, using methodological triangulation. For the analysis, resources of the Atlas.ti software and Thematic Content Analysis were associated; and the data were interpreted based on the labor process and workloads as theorical approaches. Results: the way of working in the Family Health Strategy has predominantly resulted in an increase in the workloads of the nursing professionals, with emphasis on the work overload, excess of demand, problems in the physical infrastructure of the units and failures in the care network, which hinders its effectiveness as a preferred strategy to achieve universal access to health. On the other hand, teamwork, affinity for the work performed, bond with the user, and effectiveness of the assistance contributed to reduce their workloads. Conclusions: investments on elements that reduce the nursing workloads, such as changes in working conditions and management, can contribute to the effectiveness of the Family Health Strategy and achieving the goal of universal access to health.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Representações sociais em enfermagem: comentários sobre teses e dissertações(Universidade Federal do Pará, 1997-12) MACHADO, Ana Lúcia; OLIVEIRA, Francisca Bezerra de; SILVA, Waldine Viana da; HUPSEL, Zelia NunesThe starting point of this work consists on a revision of thesis and dissertations developed by nurses aiming to check how the social representation was used as a theoretical referencial on these researches. Through a sistematic reading of these works some points were dettached, as thematic, main resultas and reflections proposed in order to atain professional practice nursing. It was ascertained from the analysed works that this theoretical referencial is used by nurses, and that some studies developed introduce significative results from these professionals.
