Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) 1955: o saber matemático escolar na subjetivação de trabalhadores(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-09-11) SGROTT-RODRIGUES, Ana Maria; MANCINO, Emanuela; https://orcid.org/ 0000-0002-6736-5931; CHAVES, Sílvia Nogueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9353964127402937; https://orcid.org/ 0000-0002-9771-4610In this research context we conduct ourselves building a "history of today", about ways of subjectivity of workers from different labor areas, in the relationships they establish with the knowledge-power practices and with the truth games in the field of School Mathematics Education, space in which occupies a place of relevance in the socioeducational context, due to the dissemination and value assigned to it. We take on the challenge of talking about the variation of the subjectivity ways produced by statements and enunciations of the mathematical discourse, exploring the sayings of workers that enable to see: Which subjectivities are produced in the relations established by the individuals with school mathematics? How is the production of subjectivities from these relationships? We start from the narratives of workers to broader cultural narratives, searching the threads that weave and sustain the discursive network that enables to say and see the mathematical knowledge in the constitution of the subject. To analyze how the discourses reverberate in the ways of being, seeing and telling in relation to school mathematical knowledge, we will use the theoretical tools designed by Michel Foucault, considering from his teachings that workers are historical subjects, forged in history, as well as in the cultural context that runs through them, once subjectivity is not innate, but fabricated and imposed by the discourses that produce us historical and culturally. With this understanding and the intricacies of the provocation arising from Foucault, we brought to our thinking in relation to how the workers place themselves in the struggle between their labor mathematical knowledge and erudite knowledge of mathematical science, the mechanisms they use and the effects of this fight, or the acceptance of the erudite in what they do. We emphasize that the mesh of discursive and non-discursive practices produces mathematics as knowledge that qualifies a person, a people, a nation, producing at the same time the "good"student, the successful worker, and also the disabled, the unsuccessful worker. However, if there are subjections, there is also resistance, refusal, insurrections. From them are born other ways of being, other knowledges, other mathematics that make new truths appear, new skills that dispute and pluralize spaces of power in the broad discursive symphony. This encourages us to say that if life is a friend of art, it is possible with art to invent, incessantly, mathematical knowledge which mean the opening of this big prison closures that are the boundaries.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) 1963: educação, ciência e redenção econômica em uma capital na periferia da modernidade: a Escola de Chimica Industrial na Belém dos anos 1920(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-03-23) MACHADO, Jorge Ricardo Coutinho; ALVES, José Jerônimo de Alencar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9586790409626243In the 1920s, in Belem (a town in Pará-Amazon-Brazil), merchants and scientists to join through negotiations and interest agreements, to the creation of an analytical laboratory with the aim of researching of amazonian natural products capable of being used in the industry and thereby inaugurate a new cycle of economic prosperity after the end of the so-called "latex cycle" (the amazonian belle époque). The laboratory of analysis, almost simultaneously became a laboratory-school for training chemists, according to a training model previously initiated in Europe and that has shaped from then on, all training systems of professionals of chemistry. This laboratory-school (which existed from 1922 to 1930) graduated nine industrial chemists and published a scientific bulletin with the results of research conducted at the institution. This narrative unfolds in the chapters of this study, which are developed more detailed reports about the actors (human and non-human agents) involved in a network, in this history: the Amazon region with its natural products and the city of Belém of Pará capital on the outskirts of modernity; chemistry, a modern science expanding in the world; diplomats, politicians, merchants, chemistry students and scientiststeachers. The analyzes conducted had supported mainly in the Sociology of Translation, theoretical tool that allows to map inseparably the assembled elements in this network, whose tessitura also contribute those derived by nature and those of society, without asymmetries. The conclusions allows verify the fertility of the approach (Social Studies about Science and Technology) in the construction of narratives about objects which, although already studied by traditional historiography, were being treated asymmetrically, without giving voice with equal eloquence to scientists, amazonian natural products, politicians and traders, resulting often in hagiographies or narratives drived by positive arrow of progress and advancing of the "wrong past" to "correct future." It is expected that stories like this, written with support in the Sociology of Translation, can shed new light on the history of the expansion of the natural sciences in the Amazon, by presenting not a story of winners (or occupation of an " epistemological emptiness"), but that one where we can see the science in action, with all negotiations, hesitations, beliefs, setbacks and recalcitrances, typically presents in a open life field, where reason and passion; knowledge and power intertwine inseparably.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) 1978: letramento científico e consciência metacognitiva de grupos de professores em formação inicial e continuada: um estudo exploratório(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-04-15) GOMES, Ana Silvia Alves; ALMEIDA, Ana Cristina Pimentel Carneiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1265908866509687; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9432-2646This study investigated the scientific literacy skills and metacognitive profile of basic education teachers and students of undergraduate courses, using two newly produced instruments: Test of Scientific Literacy Skills (TOSLS) and the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI). Specifically they were investigated possible correlations between metacognitive skills and scientific literacy, checking and comparing different types of metacognitive skills and scientific literacy for current and future teachers, and evaluate the psychometric and possible improvements of the instruments qualities. The work is based on contemporary research on scientific literacy and metacognition, in particular, studies that aimed to investigate how these skills are developed by teachers of science and mathematics. The results obtained with the implementation of the instruments on a sample of twenty three undergraduate and twenty practicing teachers, indicate that 74% of the sample does not have an adequate level of scientific literacy, despite declaring that frequently use different metacognivas strategies study and plan lessons. Significant statistical correlations were also found between the scores of TOSLS and MAI, ie. metacognitive skills and scientific literacy skills were not correlated. It shows the rupture of key skills with lower rates of success, arguing about their possible causes and mitigation measures for identified problems and suggests future research possibilities using the instruments.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) 1978: Licenciatura intercultural indígena da UEPA: saberes matemáticos e prática pedagógica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-02) LIMA, Aline da Silva; SOUZA FILHO, Erasmo Borges de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5387951750537371; https://orcid.org/ 0000-0002-4092-7973This work brings the study and analysis between the training of indigenous teachers and educational practice effective of these teachers in indigenous schools, considering the intersection of knowledge about traditional indigenous knowledge and emphasizes the need for dialogue between their traditional knowledge in math education practices, contributing to the improvement of indigenous teachers in the process of academic training. Being the research of qualitative nature approved in the case study, having as a starting point the following question: how was accomplished the pedagogical practice of indigenous teachers in training in Intercultural Indigenous Degree UEPA, considering the intersection of school knowledge and indigenous knowledge? In order to make a comparative study between the formation of indigenous teachers and their pedagogical practices in mathematics, considering the intersection of school and indigenous knowledge in school Parkatêjê and Kýikatêjê, of the indigenous land Mother Mary. For research were considered the views of the students and teachers/trainers of the intercultural indigenous university degree course. The interview was the basic procedure of research, whose analysis procedure sought to highlight paths to achieving more productive education to develop their scientific knowledge learned in the academic, confirming the idea that there is only one way to systematize the teaching, but relate to traditional indigenous wisdom with scientific wisdom. With reference to surveys, discussions and the monitoring of indigenous scholars in their trajectories in the institution of higher education, through the Intercultural Indigenous University degree course at Universidade do Estado do Pará-UEPA and supported by such authors as Candau (2006) defends the position that the differences are intrinsic, constitutive to educational practices, Knijinik (2012) addressing the thought etnomatemático interested in examining the practices outside school , Ferreira (2001) where the recent sociocultural determinations indicate a ressignification of education, Luciano (2006) discusses the indigenous question for various aspects of your social organization, D'ambrosio (2011) pedagogical practices related to Ethnomathematics enable to overcome the walls of the classroom and RCNEI/National Curricular Reference for Indigenous School (1998), which discusses the development of a proposal for intercultural education giving a new meaning to curricular content.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) 1984: Organizações didáticas nos livros didáticos nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental: o caso da noção de raciocínio combinatório(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-12-20) MORAES, Guilherme Motta; NUNES, José Messildo Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5188612973174798; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9492-4914The aim of the research was to analyze praxeological (PO) organizations around the mathematical object Notion of Combinatory Reasoning in two collections of textbooks from 1st to 5th year of EF, used in schools in the city of Belém / PA. This made it possible to highlight and characterize the didactic organization of mathematical knowledge, based on the didactic books approved by the National Textbook Plan, 2013 and 2016, as well as the National Curriculum Parameters, the Book Review Guidebook National Curriculum Reference Matrix for this year of schooling (1st to 5th year of EF). In this sense, to study this object, the Anthropological Theory of Didactics, proposed by Yves Chevallard is adopted as theoretical reference, and a methodological approach is made based on qualitative research, carried out through the bibliographic study. The results of this research highlight some important issues, such as: the focus of the two collections of textbooks based on the resolution of activities, in a purely classical approach. We observe a change in the technique to calculate the proposed activities, from a point organization to a local organization, and also that the tasks and techniques related to the calculations of possibilities and numbers of combinations have not changed. Over the years in both collections of textbooks. Thus, the praxeological organization around these two collections of didactic books analyzed according to Gascon are classic.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) 1993: formação inicial e subjetividade docente no Centro de Ciências e Planetário do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-05) YANO, Victtor Takeshi Barreiros; CUNHA, André Luiz Rodrigues dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9887034270931058; ALVES, José Moysés; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6500775506186127; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1307-1249The initial training of physics teachers in non-formal education spaces is little known, especially when one seeks to know how the internship in these educational contexts affects the subjectivity of the graduates, thus contributing to their professional development. In the present research, I aimed to interpret the subjective senses about the stage, which were carried out by undergraduates of the Licentiate course in Natural Sciences with qualification in Physics, in the Center of Sciences and Planetarium of Pará. González Rey. Seven graduates of a state public university, ranging in age from 19 to 22, participated in the study. I carried out the qualitative research, starting with the dialogue with the subjects and understanding the study of singular cases as a legitimate instance of the production of scientific knowledge. I used the questionnaire, sentence complement, essay and semi-structured interview as instruments. From the information obtained, I constructed indicators, which enabled me to interpret the subjective senses related to the stage in the CCPP. Although they present different configurations of subjective meanings, future teachers think that the CCPP stage, by facilitating interaction with the counselor, colleagues and different types of public, favors their plans for the future, motivates for teaching practice and for the creation of Methodologies that articulate theory and practice. They also understand that the internship contributes to building their professional identities and prepares the future teacher to establish a collaborative relationship between formal and non-formal education spaces. Thus, I believe that the Center of Sciences and Planetarium of Pará contributes to the initial formation of Physics teachers, providing experiences that facilitate the production of new subjective senses about the knowledge and motivation necessary for the exercise of the profession and the type of professional they want to be.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A idéia de saúde, meio ambiente e educação ambiental e alunos do ensino fundamental - Vigia de Nazaré/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-09-29) LIMA, Rosanira Furtado de; MAGALHÃES, Luiz Marconi Fortes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6032076996211936The study represents a contribution to enrich the patrimony of the Teaching of Sciences, starting from professional experiences and people with the theory in the fields of the health, environment and environmental education, in school environment. This study also represents a responsibility in the sense of collaborating with the construction of a formal education that can unmask a critical vision of the social reality. Two research subjects (How students of 5th series of the fundamental teaching express in their ideas the concepts of health, environment and does education adapt and, why is a person's health related with the environment where she lives and, with the environmental education what does she have) were they proposed with the intention of looking for a better understanding in the way how students of the fundamental teaching show in their ideas the enunciation of the concepts of health, environment and environmental education and the relationship among them. The methodological mark points the case study as the knowledge used for the sustentation and materialization of the investigation and, the observation and the interview as necessary complementally knowledge to the accomplishment of the planning, of the collection and of the analysis of the data. The methodological delineate describes of the context in which the subject of the research are inserted, the atmosphere of the research, the construction of the data, the encounter researcher-subjects and the concepts used in the study. The results are shown in two sections. The first display as the subject of the research if they manifested in relation to the concepts of health, environment and environmental education. Monday shows the reason a person's health is related with the environment where she lives and with the environmental education that she has, according to the manifestations of the subject of the research. The study shows a reflection on the theme on the agenda (total knowledge) and the classroom (local knowledge) and. it points that it is possible to build an education school, significant, starting from the knowledge, interests and local needs without losing the dimension macro of the school, of the society and of the world.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A temática gênero nas produções provenientes dos grupos de pesquisa da Universidade Federal do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-06-11) MAUÉS, Marilene Silva; CORRÊA, Paulo Sérgio de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7102416953096612This paper aimed to carry out a mapping that would show the researchers scientific productions linked to groups of research in the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), it also aims to analyze how the gender theme gained evidence in researches carried out in the academic-scientific scenario of that institution, in the period of 1995-2006. Thus, the following questions had been raised: 1) What have they have been arguing about in the academic field, around the questions of gender? 2) How the scientific production generated in the data basis of research groups registered in the CNPq during the period of 1995-2006 is evidenced? 3) How the production generated by the researchers, in the research group is presented, taking into account the statistical figures in the UFPA campus in Belém? The data had been analyzed considering its quantity and quality by crossing the figures of scientific productivity - available in the site of the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (http://www.cnpq.br) - with the theoretical references which delimitates the gender theme - Louro (2001) and Rosemberg (2001) -, aspects that allowed to make an x-ray of the production generated in the national scenario for posterior verticalization with the production research of the UFPA. Evidenced that great part of the research around the gender theme has approached allusive questions related to women and that those researches refute the explanations of biological basis in the composition of female and male, as well as they assume that culturally there is a relationship of power between opposite sexes. Moreover, the study showed that in the national panorama the genre found its place in the research group in the Human Sciences area; regarding to female participation in Science it was observed an androcentric parameter in the structure of scientific deeds, this aspect resounds in the quantitative process of academic productions of female authorship, considering that they still need to conciliate the professional career with the requirements of the private world; but, despite the male domain in the scientific productions, the studies on gender have been gaining praise in the research developed by women, not only in the national level but also in the local one. Regarding the figures of the UFPA, the gender have gained a place of prominence in the paraense production and these professionals have performed with care in that field showing a frequent production in a period of 11 years, even so they had to take on an incommensurable addition of work in consequence of the majority to be part of the teaching stuff of Post Graduation Programs in the UFPA. Thus, it is reassured that the research groups of the Institution mentioned here, even though with lesser quantitative expression in relation to the national scenario, they are of great relevance for the spread of the studies on this theme in the North region and for the projection of this university as an institutional place where the research produced guarantees national highlight.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Abordagem CTS no atendimento educacional especializado: práticas de ensino-aprendizagem em ciências para educandos (as) com deficiência intelectual(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-03-04) BARBOSA, Brena Santa Brígida; LEITÃO, Wanderléia Azevedo Medeiros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9180849418936246; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7107-6630This is a qualitative investigation, in the participant research modality. It was developed at the Teacher Lourenço Filho Specialized Educational Assistance Center (pedagogical unit of the Pestalozzi Foundation of Pará), specifically in the Science workshop, with ten learners with intellectual disabilities. It is presents itself as a research question: in what aspects the use of sequences of activities on the theme – trash, according to the approach in Science, Technology and Society (STS) can contribute to the teaching-learning process and inclusion of learners with intellectual disabilities in Specialized Educational Assistance (SEA)? This proposal was developed with a socio-environmental project, which addressed the theme – trash, through studies on the landfill in the municipality of Marituba, with the objective of analyzing the teaching-learning process and inclusion of learners with intellectual disabilities in the context of SEA based on CTS relations, as well as investigating the potentialities and the limitations in the practices developed. The investigative instruments used: Individual Development Plan and Pedagogical Political Project; logbook; SEA plan notebook; audio and video recordings of the learners in the activities; audio recordings of the reports of the responsible and of the collaborators; individual and collective reports. It was decided to develop Laurence Bardin's Content Analysis, through the analysis of four empirical materials (individual activities, interview with a learner, collective poster and letter to the authorities), obtaining four sets of categories a posteriori. The results obtained showed that the sequences of activities developed significantly contributed to the teaching-learning process and the inclusion of learners with intellectual disabilities as some STS elements were present: dialogicity; contextualization; interdisciplinarity; active participation; collaborative learning; critical-reflexive thinking; autonomy and decision making, potentializing both the acquisition of knowledge, the use of skills and the development of values by the learners involved, as the resignification of the teaching practice itself and the attitudinal changes among the participating subjects. As a product, an e-book was prepared, aiming to collaborate with the pedagogical practice of educators who work at SEA, as well as to give didactic subsidies to educators who work in the science teaching in the common classroom, with learners with intellectual disabilities. I could clearly understand, through my experience, the necessity of a Science teaching involving the real context of the learner. The reflections on my teaching practice motivated me to a teaching challenge that made a relation between the student conceptual domain and the real situations in his community . Thus, the purpose of this research is to investigate evidences of a critical attidude from the CTS teaching conception through problems presented related to electrical energy consumption. I tried to answer the researching question about how to enable critical analysis from students regarding to their own use of residential electricity. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach, the action research type. A workshop was developed using conceptual energy content, in order to integrate the topics of the teaching unit. As an analysis strategy of the collected data, I developed an interpretative analysis, the intention was to give meaning to the situations raised by the students during the classes. The information was obtained through questionnaires and records in field notes. The results presented that CTS teaching approach enabled students the critical thinking mainly about values and ethical issues, relating their social reality to the habit of excessive electrical energy consumption, considering that for some students the illegal connection is a justification for wasting energy. The research has shown the dialogic and changing potential of this educational approach as the record of some students changing attitudes in that situation. I believe that, in this sense, this project demonstrated that CTS approach in schools is possible and that citizenship needs to be developed, being the technological scientific literacy of their rights and duties important for the students good achievement in society.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A abordagem CTSA e o espaço não formal: O rio que eu vejo no complexo ver-o-rio(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-09-23) NAHUM, Helen Regina Machado; ALMEIDA, Ana Cristina Pimentel Carneiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1265908866509687; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9432-2646This study is oriented to the area of Scientific Teaching and developed through the Science, Technology, Society and Environment Approach (STSE) in a non-formal educational space, the Ver-o-Rio Complex, in the city of Belém, state of Pará, Brazil. It aimed to analyze, in its different dimensions, the decision-making process of 9th grade students of Elementary School, in relation to the problems identified in the Ver-o-Rio Complex non-formal space. This research was carried out in a qualitative approach, from the pedagogical intervention type. For data analysis, it was used the method of Discursive Textual Analysis (ATD), systematizing the results obtained into three categories: Understanding the STS Relations; Consciousness-Making/Decision-Making; and Student Interest and Autonomy. To set the corpus of analysis, we considered researches carried out by the own students on various topics related to the environment, along with texts written by them, the teacher's research diary, notes from conversation circles, photographic records of the visit to the Ver-o-Rio Complex, interviews with the students in a WhatsApp group (created due to the pandemics), which were answered individually by audio or writing; and videos on awareness/decision produced by the students. Among the results found, it was observed that the relationship among Scientific Teaching and the STSE Approach favored the learning of several scientific concepts, brought motivation, argumentation and critical reasoning, in addition to bringing students closer to the teacher. In this sense, it was observed that the activities carried out in the non-formal space, from the perspective of an educational context, were configured as a successful proposal, as it motivated the students, increased their interest in knowledge and presented characteristics related to thinking and freedom of expression.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A abordagem CTSA na matriz referência e em itens do ENEM: um olhar específico para a física(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-01-07) CASTRO, George Anderson Macedo; Brito, Licurgo Peixoto de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5100592138044970; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8363-8971Conducted in the context of a professional master's degree, this study aimed to analyze and discuss, from the perspective of the STS approach, Enem items and reference matrix skills related to Physics, assuming interdisciplinarity and contextualization as assumptions of the STS approach. The research presents as product a series of four videos produced for Youtube, whose scripts were elaborated with a group of teachers of Physics of the Basic Education, in the context of a continuous formation about the relation between the STS approach and the Enem. For analysis and discussion of the items and skills, seven editions of the exam between 2011 and 2017 were explored. This study considered the unidimensionality of the Enem items, the fact that each one of them proposes to specifically evaluate a skill. of the reference matrix, with the ability information evaluated by each item taken from the Enem microdata, released by Inep after each exam edition, thus establishing for the group of items analyzed a corresponding group of skills. Thus, taking a specific look at Physics, analyzing not only the items, but also the corresponding skills establishing the item / skill relationship, the research seeks to identify approximations between the STS approach and the Enem. The analysis methodology used was Laurence Bardin's Content Analysis, through which it was first identified in the item group those that presented approximations with the STS approach, proceeding in the same way with the skills related to the items in this group. The items and skills that from Content Analysis were related to the STS approach were organized into three categories: Perception Development (DP), Question Development (DQ) and Social Commitment Development (DCS), categories adapted from the Roseline Strieder's doctoral dissertation, which allowed us to understand how the elements analyzed approached the STS approach. Thus, when analyzing 105 items and the 18 skills related to these items, the results indicated that in only 11 items (10.5%) we approached the STS approach, which occurred for a group of 10 skills (55.5%). %). This allows us to infer that, although the STS approach is related to a large number of Enem Reference Matrix skills, it is not observed in a similar proportion to the items related to Physics content present in the exam. Thus, the study indicates that the items analyzed do not jointly privilege interdisciplinarity and contextualization as one might expect, since these two perspectives, according to the official documents, underlie the Enem.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A abordagem CTSA no ensino de ciências: um estudo documental do plano estadual de educação no estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-08-19) TAVARES, Cacilene Moura; ALMEIDA, Ana Cristina Pimentel Carneiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1265908866509687; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9432-2646The use of the STSE approach in the teaching of High School Sciences is important for the formation of the human being who lives in contemporary society. This scenario demonstrates the relevance of performing this research, in the context of the State of Pará, by the analysis of pertinent documents to this approach, as the State Education Plan approved in 2015, and the Innovative High School Program (IHSPRO), developed at the federal level since 2009, to verify its approximations to the STSE approach, which is already present in the General National Curricular Guidelines for Basic Education. For the establishment of comparisons from the classical science teaching and the one that uses the STSE approach we use the studies from Zoller and Watson (1974 apud SANTOS, SCHNETZLER, 2010), having as a methodological procedure the content analysis of Bardin (2011). The initial perception from the study shows that the analyzed documents - SEP / PA and IHSPRO -, in it general contextualization, present visions, views related to the STSE approach and the Sciences teaching, in search of improvements in the offering of High School in Paraense public schools, making it possible to affirm that contributions were found in the SEP / PA that approximate the STSE approach in the Innovative High School Teaching (IHSPRO) in Pará. However, it has also been fully demonstrated that, from the six keywords highlighted for analysis, four - "citizenship", "technology", "society" and "values" - are not expressly mentioned in both documents analyzed, leading us to consider that were not properly used all aspects of the STSE approach and the science teaching by the federal and state public authorities in the preparation of the reported public politics, built for the High School level education. Thus, it is clear that the documents analyzed were not built in the perspective of the STSE approach, even if High School Education values science and technology in the student's human formation, in the sociocultural aspects, for the formation of citizenship. It was possible to verify, therefore, that the objective of this research was reached.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ações antrópicas para o uso de analogias na experimentação investigativa em um Clube de Ciências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-12-13) MONTEIRO, Joana Menezes Corrêa; MALHEIRO, João Manoel da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7502225344402729; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2495-7806This research has for objective analyze types of Analogies manifested on one experimental investigate activity about electrostatic, with a group of children of 6th grade of primary school on a Science club. For that was use as reference base about Typology and Cognitive Analogy of Conceptualization (CAC), Processing Analogy (CPA) and Experimental Analogy (CEA), according with Francisco Junior (2010); as well the Investigative Teach Sequence in Experimental Activities (CARVALHO, 2013; MALHEIRO, 2016). A qualitative approach with characteristics of a participant research was used, had as investigate site the Science Club “Prof. Dr. Cristovam W.P. Diniz”. The participants were 4 teacher-monitor (PM1, …, PM4) and eight students (A1, …, A8). As data-making instruments was used photos, audio-visual records and Field Journal notes, with a transcription of the subjects speeches considering the Content Analyze (BARDIN, 2011). The results point that the use of analogies are recurrent in experimental activities of the Science Club. It is detach initials manifestations of analogy already in student’s previous knowledge, what permit a survey of hypotheses, problematizations and practice articulations of learning. On stage 6 – “Writing and Drawing” – of the SEI major manifestations of conceptual understanding about electrostatic were identified. On stages 2 and 3 that correspond to the solution of the problem and stages 4 and 5 – “Becoming Aware” and “Giving Casual Explanations”, a frequency of three typologies were identified, ACC, ACP and ACE in students speeches. Already in monitors professors the use of ACC was constant on both stages. It is concluded that as enhancer resource of learnings the use of SEI for a knowledge construction can generate significant results in teaching and learning process with the valuation of the use of Analogy in Science Education enlarging its use inside of anthropic and investigative aspects.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Adoecimento de docentes na educação básica: uma revisão sistemática da literatura(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-01-31) COUTO, Andrea Lobato; RAMOS, Maely Ferreira Holanda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8174411008021957The illness on Basic Education teachers has been object of researches in the academy, and a survey of the main national and foreign researches on the subject is essential to obtain an overview of what has been investigated. This study aims to build a panorama of national and international research published between 2006 and 2017 on the subject of sickness in elementary education. It uses the Systematic Review of Literature (SRL) technique, of exploratory and descriptive character, with searches at SciELO, Eric, Lilacs and CAPES databases. The following inclusion criteria were considered: only articles; of the last 11 years; only full texts; only free; only peer reviewed; that deal with Basic Education teachers; that have the main descriptors in the title or keywords. The Content Analysis technique was done using NodeXL software. After the initial search, the criteria were applied, obtaining 45 articles. The results showed a higher frequency (35 = 77.8%) of studies investigating working conditions, health and suffering, as well as coping strategies, revealing that research has been directed in the search for the relation between work and illness of the teacher. A total of 3 (6.6%) articles used the Cognitive Social Theory to investigate related concepts. The technique of graph analysis and semantic networks allowed us to verify the connections between the most important variables present in the articles, such as Teachers Illness and Teachers Health, which reached a greater degree of centrality in the presented graphs, denoting their importance in the discussions that are being undertaken on the subject under investigation. Other revisions may be undertaken to assist in the search for studies that contribute to the research on teacher malaise. Despite the findings of this review, it is understood that other investigations may contribute with new data to corroborate or deny the relation between work and illness in teachers. Emphasis should be placed on the low frequency of studies from the perspective of Cognitive Social Theory.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A água para o consumo humano: ensino por meio de temas com abordagem em ciência, tecnologia, sociedade e ambiente(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-05-02) RIBEIRO, Dayane Negrão Carvalho; ALMEIDA, Ana Cristina Pimentel Carneiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1265908866509687Water is a topic commonly treated in the teaching of science, but a resource availability scenario lacks discussions to training for citizenship through the recognition of scientific and technological issues surrounding access to the use and preservation of human life. In this scenario, this study sought to determine how the proposed theme "Water for Human Consumption" can influence the training for citizenship of elementary school students of a school of public schools in the city of Abaetetuba, generating in this context two thematic booklets on the proposal, namely: a thematic booklet for students and a booklet with activity suggestions for the teacher. The used theoretical foundation hás two sections. The first incorporates the approach in Science, Technology, Society and Environment and his notes to improve the teaching of science through teaching by theme based on three pedagogical moments of Delizoicov, Angotti and Pernambuco (2011), from the context of situations students in order to involve them actively in the search for solutions through diversified activities. In the second section I write about scientific knowledge related to water and its influence on the teaching of science. The research environment was formed through a short course, attended by eleven students of the sixth grade of elementary school as research subjects, as well as teacher-researcher. The action research was the methodological option chosen in this study to collect data, which are analyzed in light of the interpretative analysis of Creswell (2007). The data showed that the subject worked in the Science approach, Technology, Society and Environment enables students to recognize the problems of their reality, allowing its insertion in the search for solutions, and also shows the importance of working everyday reality, paying attention the difficulties of the students to express themselves orally and in writing. As for the teacher researcher, this study showed how reflective practice was important for the conduct of short course activities. Regarding the product of this work, the two primers for use in teaching-learning situation, I consider it possible that the treatment of the subject, because aroused the interest of students to continue the activities culminating in presentations to the school community. And yet, there was the drafting of a letter by students with proposals to solve specific problems that was sent to the school towards improving knowledge about the problems and possible solutions observed by students in their school environment, with regard to access to water for human consumptionDissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Água: um estudo sobre as representações sociais de alunos do ensino fundamental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-08-19) IMBIRIBA, Teresa Elvina Florenzano; NAKAYAMA, Luiza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3771896759209007Since my academic career was based on a traditional way of teaching, in which I wasn’t stimulated to participate the classes, not showing my ideas and opinions, now as a teacher, I try to encourage my students to speak, enhancing their knowledge in the subject in focus and linking them to the information at school. Thus, guided by the idea of rescue/recover the knowledge that students perceive in their family and cultural environment, I drew this essay as a research about the social representations of water from 4th grade basic education students of the ‘Escola de Aplicação da Universidade Federal do Pará’, in the year of 2007. I have used the social representaion theory formulated by serge moscovici as theoretical and methodological support with the Central Core theory of Jean- Claude Abric. The methodology characterized by a qualitative and quantitative approach, had the techniques of data collection, the questionnaire, the free evocation from the word inducing water, supplemented by the interview. The research had as subjects 110 students from the 4th grade basic education, in the ages from nine to thirteen years old, in which 60 of those are girls. The result analysis revealed important aspects about the students and their answers and enabled me to identify that the content of the water’s social representation are associated to the following meanings and senses: 1) The water consumption in the every day habits of hygiene and food; 2) To the natural landscape, formed by water resources; 3) To the natural phenomena, as the rain and the tsunami; 4) To its values and importance as a source of life and health; 5) To the concrete attitudes and actions for the water treatment; 6) To the care and preservation of the natural water heritage; 7) To its symbolism: water as a worship, beauty and leisure object and 8) its characteristics. About the structure of the water’s social representation, the central core was constituted by the semantic categories: bath, drink, life, clean, river and rain and the peripheral system, by the categories: save, pollute, wash the food, waterfalls, make food, crystalline, entertainment, sea, peace, tsunami, useful, well and drop. The understanding of students answers about water, were essential to my thoughts about this subject and so now I can create new pedagogical practices based on the challenge of forming studentcitizens that recognize the need of using water in a sensible way as a finite resource which needs to be maintained and preserved.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) As águas da cultura vivida inundando a educação: uma leitura sobre letramentos e cultura ribeirinha(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-02-23) CARVALHO, Marcia da Silva; PAIXÃO, Carlos Jorge; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5926523492011056This study discuss the shift of social and educational literacy in an Amazonia drenched in symbologies and knowledge present in the voices of the residents of the Isles of Paquetá, Longa and Nova and in Unidade Pedagógica do Jamaci, Icoaraci district in Belém/PA. It is riverine literacy. The conceptual dialogs in which these ripples are evident are docked in BHABHA(2013), GERRT (1989, 2014), EAGLETON (2011) dipped in hybridism and cultural webs, the relation between the schooling process and the living riverside culture are present in the seas brought by BRANDÃO (1985, 1986) and by the becoming of the waters flowing social and scholar literacy, learning and world reading invoked to this study by FREIRE (1980, 1987, 1989, 1996, 2004), SOARES (1986, 2008, 2010), STREET (2014). Culture in different places move literacy, intertwining lived culture of the riverside community waving insular harmonies and disharmonies. This ethnographic research is based on the voices of the residents of the isles of Paquetá, Longa and Nova, workers and students of Unidade Pedagógica do Jamaci, which is connected to Fundação Escola Bosque, located in Igarapé do Jamaci. The qualitative approach serves as a reference to this study in its ethnographic format, using semi-structured interviews, narratives, photographic material and active participants’ observation as investigative instruments, setting from the reading of the voices expressed in the narratives of the subjects. In this sense of problematization the central questioning is brought: To which extent social literacy resulting from the lived culture of the riverside community is connected to educational literacy in the schooling process of Unidade Pedagógica of Jamaci? As a result the study demonstrates that the experiences lived by the riverside community creates connections with scholar experiences, where lived culture of the riverside community through their daily life will communicate with the school, settling then that there are no literacy without these cultural elements of the riverside everyday life, without social literacy overflowing into the scholar literacy, without recognizing the reinforcing that the diverse religious and sociocultural manifestations give to the riverside community life and the sustainability possible because of the singular and insular experiences. This way the relevance of this study consist in the come and go of the waters enlightening the Amazonian culture identifying it in the rhetoric, in the curriculum and in the process of literacy, minimizing the invisibility of the riverine people and all their cultural potential.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alfabetização científica no 9° ano do ensino fundamental: produção artesanal de iogurte como tema de estudos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-05-06) SILVA, Denílson Elias Lima; PESSOA, Wilton Rabelo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0244057330247829; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9966-9585SILVA, D, E, L; Scientific Literacy in the 9th year of Elementary Education: Yogurt production as a subject of study, dissertation (master's). Institute of Mathematics and Science Teaching - Federal University of Pará, Belém, Pará. 2020. The following pages contain a qualitative case study planned and carried out to understand the assumptions, characteristics and evidence of Scientific Literacy in Elementary School Final Years. The study data were collected in a ninth-grade classroom (students aged 14 to 15 years) at a state public school in the city of Getúlio Vargas (Mocajubinha), located in the municipality of Terra Alta. The research data includes the recorded voice classes and the written works and / or activities produced by the students, in addition to all the didactic material provided to them during the classes. We started our research by reviewing the topic "Scientific Literacy through the production of artisanal yogurt" in the national and international literature on Didactics of Science through which we found information that allowed us to propose the structuring axes of Scientific Literacy. These axes are considered in our research for the analysis of the activities that make up a didactic sequence involving discussions in which the same topic is discussed taking into account scientific knowledge and technologies through local knowledge. The study of the specific bibliography of the area also led us to the proposition of indicators of Scientific Literacy: action and research skills that we deem necessary to be used when it is intended to build knowledge on any topic. The indicators are vital to the analysis we carry out as they can provide us with evidence of whether Scientific Literacy is in process among Elementary School Students Final Years observed in our research. After analyzing the didactic sequence, the oral arguments and the written work and / or experimental activities carried out by the students, we found quite substantial evidence that Scientific Literacy is in process for most of the students in the studied class.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alfabetização cultural Ka’apor: etnomatemática nas práticas de cestarias e grafismo corporal(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-11-06) BARROS, Estelita Araújo; LIMA, Aline da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0664954001664179; BARROS, Osvaldo dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8886478452699437This research reports work experiences in indigenous School Education, with teaching practices focused on themes, which, based on the cultural knowledge and actions of Ka’apor students, address how these are related or not to the National Common Curricular Base - BNCC. The aim is to reflect on how to work with these contexts in school spaces, in a way that can serve as a reference for other professionals and provide guidance on an intercultural and interdisciplinary teaching and learning proposal that contributes to the process of teaching and learning mathematics in order to visualize the importance of cultural elements such as: making wasahã (bread pan), ka'apor body graphics, among others culminating in the creation of an educational product entitled “Ka’a ro hehe ukwaha ke” Knowledge Notebook: Ethnomathematic Literacy in the Ka’apor Culture. To this end, the contents of mathematics stand out: geometric figures, counting and length measurement, with the purpose of valuing the knowledge and practices of the community in dialogue with mathematical knowledge, which through methods of ethnographic research, bibliographical research and the experiences lived through participant observation with the Ka'apor students, point us to methodological paths for developing materials aimed at differentiated teaching practices, as possibilities in adding and valuing the forms of subsistence and survival of the Ka'apor people.
