Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A propriedade distributiva da multiplicação: uma visão diagnóstica do processo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2004) DIAS, Josete Leal; SILVA, Francisco Hermes Santos da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3912906225739008The objective of this study is to investigate the application of the distributive property of multiplication in the numeric and algebaric contexts, and in the solution of problems carried out by students of Basic Education in a public school in Belém, examining in what measure the application of the distributive property is related to the difficulties found in the mathematics learning. In this investigation, we highlight the diagnostic evolutation and the error as a didactic strategy as well as hermeneutic contribution concerning the ways of assessing the process of acquiring the skills of math. The study inlued fifth and seventh grade students of basic course and the frist uear of high school, out of forty-five sibjects. The collection was carried out in two moments by applying a test presenting three sets of questions in a total of thirteen problem situations. The procedures of the subjects concerning the application of the distributive property were described in a perspective of qualitative analysis. The protocols presented were to look for behavior patterns in the understanding of the subjects on the distributive property, as well as to clarify situations which were entitled didactic obstacles. As a result, it was evident that the students presented some difficulty to work with the application of distributive property when the latest one is found in the context of problem solutions, as well as contents like algebraic sum, study of variables, nonsimilarterms are not in the domain of most of the students.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A realidade como princípio metodológico no ensino da matemática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2004-05-24) SILVA, Luiza Pereira da; MENDES, Iran Abreu; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4490674057492872This study has the purpose to argue the actions developed in the school in an interdisciplinary conception, having the Generating Subject as axle of curricular orientation, using as a methodological strategy for construction of the thematic nets in the classroom the work projects (inquiry projects). We believe that the process of teach-learning and the construction of the school and scientific knowledge from the valuation and approach with knowledge of the reality (daily knowledge), will become more efficient in a dialogical process between students, teachers and knowledge that interact in a movement of orientation on the part of the teacher and for the search to understanding methematics knowledge, applying it and systemizing it toward new knowledge.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ações de formação continuada de professores que ensinam matemática nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental: construção de uma prática para o ensino de geometria(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-09-21) FRADE, Marita de Carvalho; MACHADO JÚNIOR, Arthur Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3148593292236740The research presents results of an investigation about the process of continuous training of teachers in service who teach mathematics in the initial years of Elementary School in schools of the municipality of Ponta de Pedras, in Marajó, Pará, Brasil. Researches indicate that in the early years of Elementary Education (aiEF), there is still greater emphasis on teaching other blocks that make up the mathematics curriculum, compared to working with Space and Form, more specifically, when compared to studies related to geometry. However, these same research points out the importance of teaching this content in aiEF. Faced with this problem, the question that emerged and which guided this research was how gemetry has been taught by teachers who teach mathematics in the initial years of Elementary School? In these terms, we present as objective, to investigate how the geometry has been taught by teachers who teach mathematics in the initial years in the municipality of Ponta de Pedras. To collect data were used questionnaire, audio recording, documents and logbook. The research was structured in two stages, applying a questionnaire that allowed to draw the profile of the teachers and to detect their experiences and experiences related to the teaching / learning of geometry and the planning and development of five training meetings, with the purpose of reflecting on teaching / learning geometry. In these terms, the research was carried out from March to November 2016 and had as participants a group of teachers and graduates of the Integrated Degree in Science, Mathematics and Language Education offered by the Institute of Mathematical and Scientific Education. As a final product, differential of this modality of masters, a proposal of continuous formation in service on the block Space and Form, in particular, teaching/learning of geometry for the initial years is presented.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alfabetização matemática no contexto ribeirinho: um olhar sobre as classes multisseriadas da realidade amazônica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-04-30) OLIVEIRA, José Sávio Bicho de; LUCENA, Isabel Cristina Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3255121871351967This dissertation, entitled "Mathematical literacy in the river context: a look at the multigrade classes of reality Amazon", aimed to investigate theoretical and methodological approaches to teaching and learning of mathematics within the mathematics literacy, able to be established in classes multigrade schools riverside reality Amazon. In this research, the vision of mathematics literacy was constructed taking into account not only the first skills of reading and writing early language school mathematics by the child (DANYLUK, 1997), but as a path to learning of man and woman in the world of relationships mathematics, from theoretical conceptions of D'Ambrosio (2002), Domite and Mosque (2003), Sebastiani Ferreira (1997), I. Mendes (2009) and Freire (2002). The survey was conducted in São Domingos do Capim, Para State, Brazil, between October 2010 and August 2011. In research on literacy in math classes multigrade schools riverside, interactions were held with representatives of the Municipal Education riverside multigrade school visits, interviews with teachers of this county. As instruments of construction data were utilized field diary, interviews and observations. The analysis of field research was organized in the following items: a) the multigrade classes in mathematics and literacy riverside b) Teaching tools and mathematical literacy, and c) Culture and mathematics education in Amazonia: between scientific knowledge and knowledge of tradition . It can be argued that the mathematical literacy expressed within coastal still restricted to the strictly mathematical experiences related to school curriculum without considering the wealth of possibilities knowledge of students' experiences in their daily context as spatial displacement in the rivers, in Mathematical elements involved in marketing fruit and fish, for example.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alguns aspectos problemáticos relacionados ao ensino-aprendizagem da álgebra linear(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-02-28) COIMBRA, Jarbas Lima; GUERRA, Renato Borges; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3199659904537033This study deals with some aspects that I consider as possible difficults to the Linear Álgebra lessons understanding. It treats of a subject of huge importance for many graduation university courses and I consider that any study that intends to improve this teaching is essencial. It contains innumerous considerations about difficults that students can face during the subject learning, like those related to the knowledge brought from the high school, witch can either be used as a help as can cause understanding troubles of general lesson concepts, difficulties with use of geometry, difficulties with expressions known from other classes, logical difficulties, and others difficulties.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) O aprendizado de regras matemáticas: uma pesquisa de inspiração wittgensteiniana com crianças da 4ª série no estudo da divisão(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-03-01) SILVA, Paulo Vilhena da; SILVEIRA, Marisa Rosâni Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3588315106445865In this study, we investigated the learning of mathematical rules in the context of the classroom, emphasizing, primarily, the discussions about language. Our main goal was to investigate the linguistic difficulties, faced by students during the learning of mathematical rules, in particular, the concept / division algorithm. To this end, we discuss, among other things, the theme "following rules" proposed by the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein in his Philosophical Investigations. Our work and our analysis were based primarily on this author, who discusses, among other themes, language and their meaning and foundations of mathematics, as well as the reflections of philosopher Gilles-Gaston Granger who analyzes the formal languages. We conducted a field survey that was developed at the “school of pedagogical application” of the Federal University of Pará, in a class of fourth grade. The lessons taught by the classroom teacher was observed and later the students were asked to solve division problems, verbal and nonverbal, followed by a brief interview in which we ask, among other issues, how students solve problems involving the division. In our analysis we highlight some students' difficulties, perceived in observations and in their written records or oral: some students, in its resolution strategies, invent new “mathematical rules". There are still those who "confuse" the contexts in solving verbal mathematical problems as well as the difficulty of understanding the problems that bring implicit information.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) As analogias como instrumentos úteis para o ensino do conteúdo químico no nível médio(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-04-18) CARMO, Everaldo Almeida do; CORDEIRO, Luiz Acácio Centeno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3737752474189702The need of the analogy in the process teaching-learning is a theme hardly studied by many authors, although there are some limits within its application. The present work, inside a qualitative research, that seeks to verify how useful the analogies in the process of teaching-learning of the chemical contents are, had a major purpose: show in which way teachers use the analogical method in their explanations about atomic models. This study was realized with three chemistry teachers of a public school in the city of Belém. The main results aim for many difficulties of the teachers within the production and performing of analogies, what seems to be very tightening linked with the lack of knowledge themselves own about their students, so they badly choose the analogies for use in the classroom, then these procedures become not very useful.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) As concepções de professores formadores em relação ao uso da história da matemática no processo ensino aprendizagem nos cursos de licenciatura em matemática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007) SILVA, Johnattan Amorim da; GONÇALVES, Tadeu Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6789250569319668The objective of this research is to investigate the conceptions of teachers-trainers of Mathematics teachers with relation to History of Mathematics in the teaching learning process in order to understand which ideas and methodologies these teacherstrainers use when are about historical approaches or to teach History of Mathematics subjects. In order to this was carried out a quality research with using of semistructured interviews with a nine teachers group that teach classes in Higher Education institutions, in particular in Mathematics Undergraduate Courses. To analyze these teachers speeches, our research subjects, we find to understand their conceptions and practical experiences are about the History of Mathematics. Were adopted three analysis categories using the teachers interviews: First Contacts with History of Mathematics; Learning Strategies and Pedagogical Potentiality; and Obstacles of using of History of Mathematics. In the first category there were significant differences, the five teachers have argued that they have not kept any contact with the History of Mathematics while graduation studentes and the others four teachers have had contact only in one subject gone with of only certain text-book. In second category we have realized that learning strategy used for the most of teachers when are about History of Mathematics is through of using of seminaries. In third category five teachers have argued the existence of obstacles. The teachers conceptions study participated of this research has pointed out the importance of History of Mathematics in the teacher education and considerations about the applicability or difficulty of using of History of Mathematics in the teaching learning and its contribuition in the mathematical and critical development of student.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Atividades investigativas, como estratégia para o ensino-aprendizagem em ciências: propostas e aprendizagens(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-03-07) SOUZA, Simony Suely Paes de; NAKAYAMA, LuizaLeaving of the premise that "teaching it requires to know to learn and to know to construct (together with our pupils) the learnings that we search", I developed a proposal of investigation activities, for the teach-learning in Sciences. I stand out that to give differentiated lessons, nor always it would be or it is easy, therefore it has a content to be fulfilled and to be finished, beyond a very short time carrying through them. Thus, my dissertation is an inquiry of the qualitative type, that if configures as an researchaction, on the activities programmed at moments, with pupils of 7 series of the basic education of two schools of the particular net of education of the city of Belém (called here, School and School B), having as content programmarian the human body. In the school, emphasizing the digestive system, we had the following moments: the great snack; a video on the process of alimentary and mini-gincana digestion (test). Already in school B, with the content on the Locomotive System, the moments: hypothetical construction of the human body, from the contour of a model; the walked one until an Academy of Gynnastics of activities; lessons in square of the school, in set with the professor of Physical Ed.; e finally, the confection of a CD-ROM with all the subjects worked, during the school year. In both the schools, had the moment of the reading of didactic books. We conclude that learnings, from investigation activities, and that they take in account the experiences, the questionings and the contributions of the pupils, they are effective, independent of the subject who will be boarded and the Institution of Education (public or particular). However, we consider that this methodology of work will function if the professor: 1 - it will be made use to continue its studies and 2 - to share with its pupils the flavors and to know them, as well as the teachings and the learnings.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação formativa como estratégia de desenvolvimento profissional de professores de português língua estrangeira(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-01-01) SILVA, Fernanda Sousa e; CUNHA, Myriam Crestian Chaves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0057919162522146; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9635-5054Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação formativa e comunicação matemática: um estudo sobre a prática na educação de jovens e adultos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-10-28) FERREIRA, Joel Silva; LUCENA, Isabel Cristina Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3255121871351967This study aims at characterizing communication in mathematics classes, from the perspective of Formative Assessment based on Semana and Santos (2012) and Fernandes (2008, 2012). It emerged from the need for improvements in teaching practice and assessment of the researcher teacher. In view of this, a sequence of four tasks of the mathematical content of percentage was applied, with the intention of articulating teaching, learning and assessment in a group of youngsters and adults students. The teaching methodology used in the intervention was the exploratory one, in which the students carried out the tasks in groups and later socialized the results in the collective discussion in the whole class. The methodology of the research follows a qualitative according to Bogdan and Biklen (1994), approach in which the interventions of the students and the researcher teacher were analyzed, based on the three dimensions of communication proposals for Semana and Santos (2012): dynamics, focus and meaning. The data collection is based on the audio recording of all the communications that occurred in the groups, in the stage of accomplishment of the tasks, and video-audio recording of the interventions occurred in the collective discussion of the results, with subsequent transcription of the speeches of those involved. The written records made by students during the tasks, the students’ perceptions of classroom experience - obtained through a video-recorded interview - also served as background information for the study. The empirical data were the object of an analysis of content oriented by the dimensions of communication: dynamics, focus and meaning and themes that emerged from the articulation between the research questions and the theoretical framework. The obtained results show that the communication of the students was predominantly destined for another student (dynamics), both in the stage of accomplishment of the tasks and in the phase of collective discussion of the results; In relation to the focus they focused the majority of their attentions to the process of resolution of the tasks; as to meaning they intended to explain in most communications. Regarding to dynamics of the teacher's interventions, in the phase of accomplishment of the tasks most of his communications were destined for the groups of students, while in the phase of the collective discussion the greater part was destined for the class; As to the focus, the teacher focused his attention on the process of solving the tasks; And in relation to the meaning it is evidenced a speech substantially of the type question in which it requested explanation of the students. In this way, the communication developed in the classroom was characterized as social interaction, in which the students appeared as a learning resource for the others, contributing to the practice of formative assessment. It was also concluded that the researching on the his own practice allowed relevant professional learning to the researcher teacher, transforming his conceptions about teaching, learning and assessment.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A avaliação formativa no ensino-aprendizagem do português: o procedimento webquest em análise(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-07-02) RODRIGUES, Keifer Eleutério; CUNHA, Myriam Crestian Chaves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0057919162522146This dissertation approaches the use of the Internet in the process of teaching / learning of mother language, more specifically the use of the Webquest technological procedure as a didactic and pedagogical tool which supports school teaching, learning and assessment processes, and consequently optimizes the development of language competences by the students. To support the inclusion of New Information Technologies and Communication in teaching and learning of mother language, at first a reflection will take place about the theoretical and methodological framework that has been proposed by recent studies of Languages Didactization and the PCNs to the mother language. In this reflection, focus on the principles of the teaching and learning interactional approach of languages and formative assessment, showing their relevance to a fruitful work in the classroom. Then join to these fundamentals, the studies developed by the Educational Technology, which deals with computer use as an educational resource, emphasizing the constructivist theory as a theoretical basis that guides this practice. In this context, is defined more specifically the Webquest research methodology, which can employ the Internet to support student interaction with diverse information, peoples and to deal with the real language use, within a contextualized environment in social and communicative practices. Based on this theoretical stand, I will analyze seven Webquests produced by the students of the Language Course at Federal University of Pará, aiming at verifying if this methodology if this methodology is consistent with the teaching and learning interactional approach of mother language and formative assessment favours learning (self) evaluative and (self) regulation procedures, indispensable for the development of the language competences on the written production. In this document analysis, performed from the perspective of qualitative research, it is proposed as the main objective is to contribute to the insertion of the Webquest technological procedure into productive practical learning and teaching practices of mother language, as a way of providing theoretical support for the use of this tool in interactional educational principles.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Buscando significações na aprendizagem de inglês no ensino médio: uma experiência de fomento de autonomia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-04-24) NATIVIDADE, Elda Carla Barata; SILVA, Walkyria Alydia Grahl Passos Magno e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6129530461830312It presents the results of a research in the field of Language Teaching and Learning which aimed at developing students autonomy regarding their appropriation of English as a foreign language in a country school. The study was developed as an imposing need to make English learning meaningful and motivating to students in this school. Motivation was seen as an important element in the construction of this knowledge. The study relied on previous research by Brown e Jacob (apud WILLIAN et al, 2004) e Harmer (2001), and on motivation; and Holec (apud PAIVA, 2005), Dickinson (1994), Little (1991), Benson (2001), and Paiva (2007) on autonomy in foreign languages learning. Methodological guidelines were borrowed from Hadley (2004) and Viana (2007) and especially on how to conduct data collection, organization, and analysis in an action - research format. This study was conducted by he teacher-researcher, based on data collected by the author in her High School freshman class with twenty eight students enrolled in the evening class of a public school in São Francisco do Pará. The data analysis proved that a meaningful learning must have students‟ daily life as a starting point to any activity. It also proved that situations which demand students using the language in real contexts makes learning more meaningful to them at the same time that it fosters autonomy. The activity conducted for this study, called Posters‟ show, aimed at developing quality behavior in students towards learning because, taking autonomy as a background, students‟ daily life, their life experiences, and their responsibility towards the learning situation are far more important elements to experience than mastering grammar rules or even covering the complete content of each academic year. Results showed that positive outcomes because a change occurred in students perceptions on learning, evidencing that it is possible to enhance autonomous attitudes when proper guidance is given to students.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Código de modernidade e sistemas antigos: a propósito do uso da informática pelos professores de matemática da rede pública estadual em Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2005) PEREIRA, Franz Kreüther; GONÇALVES, Tadeu Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6789250569319668The use of the technologies of Information and Communication TIC at the scholar environment, besides allow the access to one universe of informations so chaotic than unimaginable, promoted a deep transformation in the relation of your main actors teachers and students with knowledge. Since the end of 80s that, in Brazil, many programs appears with the objective of to provide to the public education equals conditions with the private education, searching through the insert at the schools from municipal and state; a technologic environment for learning. Based on the use of computers connecting to the Internet enabling a jump of quality of the public education. The purpose of this search is inspect if the teachers of Mathematic - acting at the public schools in Belém/PA that has Informatic Laboratory - create proceedings with that technologic to find better ways for your pedagogical praxis; favouring the transmission of informations to the build of knowledge and Math concepts.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Constituir-se professor nas ilhas de Belém: ensinando e aprendendo matemática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007) ANDRADE, Ercio Oliveira; GONÇALVES, Tadeu Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6789250569319668The objective of this research is to understand how the teachers of the Islands of Belém consist as teachers throughout a trajectory of professional formation in the partner-cultural conditions of this region with prominence to its mathematics knowledge. It is about teachers located in schools of five Islands managed by Belem City Hall and Para government Pará. Once diversified forms of knowledge are involved, we theoretically base our research in the authors: Tardif, Lorenzato, Fiorentini e Lorenzato, Imbernón, Smole e Diniz, Charlot, Zabala e Perrenoud. The methodology is based on the researcher’s participant observation (also called Ethnographic) and in the qualitative analysis of the obtained information. The research is based on the inquiry that searched to understand how the teachers in Island of Belém had formed with registered data: in the historical-cultural identification of the islands, of the respective schools, through interviews with the respective teachers, through data obtained in classroom through the mathematics course for initial series for teachers of the island, photos, videos and sound recording. The research shows that the teachers of initial series deal with mathematical concepts in classroom, thus they teach mathematics. It evidences the challenges and the necessity of a deeper knowledge of these concepts, as well as the perseverance before the difficulties found in the search of continued formation and also in the development of the teacher’s practice. The analysis shows that these teachers elaborate and elaborate again their knowledge through the development of their professional practice and also it identifies the search for knowledge by these teachers.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma construção de conhecimento histórico e educação com o patrimônio material no Museu Memorial da Balaiada(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-09-25) DUARTE, Rosângela de Oliveira; MACÊDO, Sidiana da Consolação Ferreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4202561791565993; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1481-9274The present work studies the possibilities of using musealized objects and built heritage, the ruins of a 19th century fort, sculptures and a monument to D. de Caxias at the Memorial Museum of Balaiada, in Caxias MA, as didactic resources in History classes for the construction of historical knowledge based on the association of teaching and research with documentary sources. The museum is understood here as a space for the production of knowledge, representation and silencing memories. The objective was to analyze the narratives and knowledge produced by students from the 3rd year of high school at the Maranhão Institute of Education, Science and Technology - IEMA, based in Timon MA, from a class visit to the Memorial Museum of Balaiada. From the workshop to prepare students for the class to visit, the visitation and the students' previous knowledge, it was problematized and discussed notions about memory, history, heritage and museum, trying to make the students see the objects as a historical research document and the museum as a space for disputes over memories. As a result of the research, a website was built as a product of the Balaiada Memorial Museum for use by teachers and students, the website has methodological guidelines for teachers, photo gallery, museum history, summary of the whaling and the virtual museum for visitation 360º available in http://www.memorialvirtual.com.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Contextualização, dialogia e parceria no estudo da ligação iônica: uma abordagem microgenética(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2005-09-29) COSTA, Adalcindo Rodrigues da; ALVES, José Moysés; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6500775506186127I believe that a contextualized and dialogical teaching values students cultural experience and it can help in their formation as critical citizens and agents of transformation, aiming the construction of a fair, solidary and fraternal world. This teaching goes over than the transmission of information because it allows intellectual and moral development of students in a favorable, effective and motivational atmosphere. Then, this research aims to create a contextualized and dialogical chemistry learning process. I intended to analyse the particular performance of twenty nine students twelve boys and seventeen girls about thirteen or fifteen years old from eight grade in junior high school at Nucleo Pedagógico Integrado (NPI), Aplication School of Federal University of Pará considering their performances and interactions with their classmates and with me during a didactic extension. From a class of demonstration of an electric current conduction in water with salt and an experiment of a non electric conductivity in a solid salt, I chanllenged students explain the chemical event, without studying any theory. They only had to consider the construction of ionic connection definition. The methodology took the following procedures: at first, each student wrote a written explanation. Next, they formed groups spontaneously. And then, they discussed and wrote a consensual explanation. After that, students presented both answers. Then, they formed other groups in order to create and present different explanations. Finally, each student wrote his/her own opinion to the event. I directed their discussions and I only added new information to the event when I perceived the argument was enough. I taped, recorded and made the transcription. I chose seven students from each group in order to make them compare their own written answers to students discussion. They observed that all the students had the same and acceptable explanation to that phenomenon, based on empiric generalizations and theorical terms. All this development happened during an interaction teacher-students, on which prevailed a communicative approach. The students who participated in the discussions actively had the opportunity to argue, to be challenged and redo their explanations. It is important to discuss other manners of teaching, involving students in the development of learning process; to construct a general theorical explanation; to create and evaluate the afective and motivational atmosphere. It means that teacher and students have to be partners in the learning-teaching process. Besides that, I make reflection about the importance of this research to my formation.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Contribuição da avaliação formativa para o ensino/ aprendizagem da produção escrita em turmas numerosas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-08-26) PORTAL, Michele Seabra; CUNHA, Myriam Crestian Chaves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0057919162522146Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Criatividade na educação - caminho para autonomia: um olhar a partir da Feira da Criatividade(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-22) SANTOS, Maria Silvana de Sousa; SEIBT, Cezar Luís; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7464213317216078This study deals with creativity in the educational context and aimed to investigate pedagogical aspects favorable to the encouragement of creative thinking manifested in the process of conducting a so-called Creativity Fair event, held annually in a school. The same sought to highlight the close relationship between creativity and intellectual autonomy, emphasizing its importance and need for human development, since the act of creating is configured as a condition to think. Think freely, think for yourself, providing this way the subject has the opportunity to express their ideas. In this sense the approach of creativity expressed in this research transcends the traditional understanding that create be related to the creation of new products or artistic expression, trying to think of it in a more philosophical perspective, as a means to contribute to an emancipatory education. Thus, focusing on Creativity Fair event were identified pedagogical aspects that go in this direction, highlighting the need to think of an education for creativity, ie an education that also has intended to make the creative learner, autonomous, able to think for themselves and express their ideas. The study was a qualitative approach and took to anchor the theoretical and epistemological assumptions of authors such as Rancière (2010), Kohan (2013), Vygotsky (2009), Kneller (1978), Lipman (1990), Alencar (2001, 2003, 2009 ), Freire (1996), among others that allows us to think creativity for self-reliance.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) As dificuldades relacionadas à aprendizagem do conceito de vetor à luz da teoria dos registros de representação semiótica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-10-15) PATRÍCIO, Rafael Silva; SILVEIRA, Marisa Rosâni Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3588315106445865This work was developed in order to contribute to teaching and Analytic Geometry for learning in higher education. To accomplish this we rely on the theoretical framework of Raymond Duval - With the theory of the semiotic representation registers - in classes exhibitions, classroom activities and the exploration of a greater number of Vector representations of mathematical object. Our goal was to identify and analyze the difficulties in production and processing representations of the vectors that characterize the learning of loopholes concept of that object. The research subjects were students of a in Mathematics at the University of Pará - UEPA, Regional Center of the Lower Tocantins - NURBAT located in Moju - PA. The research was divided into stages, where at first, the group witnessed lectures focused on the study of vectors, exploiting the various representations of the object as well as basic operations, the second stage the resolution list of exercises (activities 1 and 2), with questions taken from the discipline and recommended reading individual assessment. Finally the analysis of the resolutions made by subjects. The instruments of data collection included questions of representation of vector algebra in the records, and figural language natural as well as conversions between these records. After analyzing resolutions, they were grouped by categories including: confusion between point coordinates and vector coordinates, difficulty in application of the rule of the parallelogram, difficulty in identifying vectors equal and records involving the conversion between geometric registration. By final aim of the tests where students feel more difficulties according to the peculiarities of the resolutions presented and they also suggest the possibility of continuing the research on it object.
