Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desenvolvimento de sistema para verificação metrológica de transformadores de corrente IN SITU em sistemas de alta tensão utilizando transdutor óptico(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-21) COSTA, Marcelo Melo da; COSTA, João Crisóstomo Weyl Albuquerque; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9622051867672434This work presents the development and field application of an on site metrological verification system for high voltage current transformers. It was developed aiming at portability aspects besides the metrological requisites, in such a way it can be easily transported and assembled without the need of power interruption as well as the use of complex and expensive transport and assemble logistics. The system uses an optical transducer as reference standard, whose sensor measures the primary current of current transformer under verification based on Faraday effect It is also composed by additional standard instruments that measure the transformer secondary current under verification, and compares it to the optical transducer output. High voltage laboratory tests as well as on site tests were performed. On site tests were perfomed in two power substations in Brazil, in the city of Belém, in order to assure the correct operation under high voltages and high currents conditions. Six 230 kV rated current transformers were verified. The site tests involved six 230 kV current transformers, under medium load system conditions, and achieved satisfatory results.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Impactos na qualidade da energia elétrica provenientes do rápido crescimento da demanda no Sudeste do Estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-03-15) ESTEVES, Eduardo Augusto Cardoso; BEZERRA, Ubiratan Holanda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6542769654042813; TOSTES, Maria Emília de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4197618044519148In the recent years, the social and economical development in the Southeast of the State of Pará has been mainly caused by the exploitation and processing of mineral industries, which added to the population growth, has generated a high increase in the demand of electric energy and consumption due to the increasing installation of new industrial, commercial, residential and rural single-phase charges. This global increase is impacting directly the performance of distribution of electric utility, which can be expressed by the permanent disturbances caused by harmonics, such as buzzing in the power transformer and disruption of medium voltage conductors. These disturbances will be presented in a study of case involving the Substations (SE’s) Itacaiúna and Itupiranga. To prove how they can be harmful in these SE’s, campaigns of measurement were performed to obtain practical results and then, to perform studies involving simulations of short-circuit, load flow and spreading of harmonics in order to obtain an analytical diagnostic about the situations found and thus to issue recommendations to solve the problems identified. This study will provide a valuable support to the Concessionaire of Energy and it may be taken as a reference to the study of Power Quality in other substations, in addition to experimental basis for future charges from ANEEL, regarding the implementation of procedures in Electric Power Distribution National Electric System (PRODIST).Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma metodologia para aferição da acurácia de modelos de projeção de longo prazo para a Previdência Social no Brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-12-01) SILVA, Carlos Patrick Alves da; PUTY, Claudio Alberto Castelo Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5885474167011571; FRANCÊS, Carlos Renato Lisboa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7458287841862567Long-term social security statistical forecasts produced and disseminated by the Brazilian government aim to provide accurate results that would serve as background information for policy decisions. These forecasts are being used as support for the government’s proposed pension reform. However, the reliability of official results is uncertain since no systematic evaluation of these forecasts has ever been published by the Brazilian government or anyone else. This work aims to present a study of the accuracy and methodology of the instruments used by the Brazilian government to carry out long-term actuarial forecasts. More specifically, this work investigates what would be the source of data, assumptions, equations, variables, parameters and estimation methods used to compute results released by the federal government. An empirical analysis shows that the long-term Social Security forecasts are systematically biased in the short term and have significant errors that render them meaningless in the long run. In addition, attempts to reproduce the results of the 2012 and 2018 LDOs demonstrate the lack of transparency in official documents, both in the described equations and the databases used. From a mathematical model developed, it was shown that the long-term forecasts of variables, such as GDP, Social Security revenues and expenses, have a large component of volatility and uncertainty which make your forecast challenging in the short term and impossible, with an acceptable level of confidence, in the long run. A sensitivity analysis for the productivity and average contribution rate parameters showed the impact of these on Social Security results, showing a gain of up to 72% in revenue for an annual labor productivity growth of 3%, for example. Finally, a free and open source software, developed under this research, that implements the current official forecast model is presented, as well as several improvements in the design process, such as the ability to simulate changes in the labor market.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Projeto e avaliação experimental de uma estratégia baseada em análise intervalar aplicada ao projeto de estabilizador de sistemas de potência robusto implementado em um sistema de geração de 10KVA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-12) COSTA, Cleyson Amorim; BARRA JUNIOR, Walter; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0492699174212608In this paper, are presented the design methodology and the experimental test results of a power system stabilizer (PSS), implemented in a small-scale generation system of 10 kVA, located in the Control and Power System Laboratory (LACSPOT) at the Para Federal University (UFPA). The PSS design is based on a robust control strategy with emphasis on the structured parametric uncertainties, which are treated with tools of the interval analysis theory. These uncertainties are arising from the system operation point, which cause variations in the parameters of a linearized mathematical model referent on the dynamic behavior of the power electric system in the operation point. For the interval robust PSS design, are performed experimental tests with the purpose of estimating the linearized plant models parameters, representing the low damped modes dynamic of the interconnected generation system. The identification method is based on parametric identification technique based on least squares. From a set of input and output data, for each operation point, a ARX linear model is estimated with the purposed of the PSS design. Finally, a set of experimental tests is performed in the interconnected generation system, with the purpose of analyze the effectiveness of the interval robust control technique proposed to the PSS design. From the analysis of the active power deviation signal cost function at the synchronous generator terminal and the PSS control signal cost function, proves experimentally the good performance achieved by robust control technique proposed in comparison with a classic control technique.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Simulação de transporte eletrônico em dispositivos unimoleculares baseados em indicadores de pH(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-02-03) GRANHEN, Ewerton Ramos; DEL NERO, Jordan; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5168545718455899In recent decades, several researchers have tried employ molecules in electronic devices of nanoscale. For this reason, different electro / optical parameters, governing the electronic transport in organic molecules, need to be analyzed. In this work was developed a charge transport study to the composed propyl red, popularly used as pH indicator. The motivation to study it results from its structure formed of donor-acceptor subunits, coupled via azo group (N = N), a well known feature in molecular rectifiers. The methodology used to treat the system in equilibrium is based on Molecular Mechanics and Hartree-Fock methods. However, another method, based on the Landauer-Büttiker formalism, to non-equilibrium system was employed. Through these methods, the feature curves of molecular system were drawn and compared. The result of comparison lowed explain the phenomena that govern the electronic transport in nanostructure. Besides that, was analyzed the effects of metal contacts, connected on molecules in presence of external electric field.
