Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) 1955: o saber matemático escolar na subjetivação de trabalhadores(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-09-11) SGROTT-RODRIGUES, Ana Maria; MANCINO, Emanuela; https://orcid.org/ 0000-0002-6736-5931; CHAVES, Sílvia Nogueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9353964127402937; https://orcid.org/ 0000-0002-9771-4610In this research context we conduct ourselves building a "history of today", about ways of subjectivity of workers from different labor areas, in the relationships they establish with the knowledge-power practices and with the truth games in the field of School Mathematics Education, space in which occupies a place of relevance in the socioeducational context, due to the dissemination and value assigned to it. We take on the challenge of talking about the variation of the subjectivity ways produced by statements and enunciations of the mathematical discourse, exploring the sayings of workers that enable to see: Which subjectivities are produced in the relations established by the individuals with school mathematics? How is the production of subjectivities from these relationships? We start from the narratives of workers to broader cultural narratives, searching the threads that weave and sustain the discursive network that enables to say and see the mathematical knowledge in the constitution of the subject. To analyze how the discourses reverberate in the ways of being, seeing and telling in relation to school mathematical knowledge, we will use the theoretical tools designed by Michel Foucault, considering from his teachings that workers are historical subjects, forged in history, as well as in the cultural context that runs through them, once subjectivity is not innate, but fabricated and imposed by the discourses that produce us historical and culturally. With this understanding and the intricacies of the provocation arising from Foucault, we brought to our thinking in relation to how the workers place themselves in the struggle between their labor mathematical knowledge and erudite knowledge of mathematical science, the mechanisms they use and the effects of this fight, or the acceptance of the erudite in what they do. We emphasize that the mesh of discursive and non-discursive practices produces mathematics as knowledge that qualifies a person, a people, a nation, producing at the same time the "good"student, the successful worker, and also the disabled, the unsuccessful worker. However, if there are subjections, there is also resistance, refusal, insurrections. From them are born other ways of being, other knowledges, other mathematics that make new truths appear, new skills that dispute and pluralize spaces of power in the broad discursive symphony. This encourages us to say that if life is a friend of art, it is possible with art to invent, incessantly, mathematical knowledge which mean the opening of this big prison closures that are the boundaries.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A consagração periódica de José Veríssimo (1877-1884)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-04-27) PAMPLONA, Alessandra Greyce Gaia; SALES, Germana Maria Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8723885160615840It discusses the social, political and cultural life of the writer José Veríssimo through his production between the years 1877 to 1884, in Belém do Pará. To support this objective, four chapters are contributed which focus on in his texts published in magazines and newspapers that show the theoretical and thematic evolution of the writer in his treatment of national issues. The main purpose of this dissertation is to show the importance of the press in the middle of the nineteenth century for the changes in his representation of Brazilian culture at that time.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A democratização da gestão escolar no município de Santa Bárbara do Pará a partir do PDE(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-04-26) CASTRO, Maria Rosana de Oliveira; SANTOS, Terezinha Fátima Andrade Monteiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9502681594591950This study is on schools management democratization in Santa Bárbara do Pará promoted by PDE. It intended to identify PDEs contributions to school management , based on analyses of actions done at Escola Municipal do Livramento. It presents a discussion on State reform and the new proposal of public management, wich is more flexible and able to adapt itself to the tecnological development and to the new global economy needs, that made the State reform to give more importance to values like effient and qualitative services as well as management culture in the organizations. This work shows the connections between educational system and capitalism, that demanded, because of the agrarian exportation crisis (1920) and the improvement of urban-industrial field, better access to schools, mainly to the cities population, relationing education to development and to economy to solve the crisis. It is possible to observe, trhough the research, that educational public policies, originated from international organizations created new forms of regulation and management in the country, in this context appear Fundescola/PDE proposal of management, that reforces the principals role as a leader. The study verified that educational attendance at Pará and at North Region is centred over the eight first years in school (period called fundamental teaching), revealing a great difference from infantile education (little children) and middle teaching (teenagers) that receive few economic attentions. The discussion, presented, on management modernization focus the importance of autonomy and of the participation in the public school as a way to achieve the desired quality in education. The study revels, too, the impositive character of PDEs proposal that ignores external and internal school community in its formulation, being different and contradictory with the proposal established by brasilian educational laws, despite the speech of people who idealized it to affirm it as a participative and democratic proposal.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A inclusão de crianças com necessidades educacionais especiais na educação infantil: uma análise do currículo moldado pelas práticas pedagógicas de professoras da rede municipal de ensino de Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-09-26) AMARAL, Míriam Matos; ROCHA, Genylton Odilon Rêgo da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3735617515418666The research makes an analysis of moulded curriculum by pedagogical practices developed by teachers from Belém-Pará municipal net begining from education inclusion in the pre-school of kids with special education necessities (NEES) proposed in Cabana School pedagogical politic project. So, our issue-questions, to point aiming to investigate as if gave the education inclusion of kids with Special Education Necessities after the introdution of Cabana School Project; wich pedagogical practices were adopted by teachers that attended kids with NEES included in preschools of teach net of Belém municipal district begining of "People's Government" (1997-2004) and yet, wich curriculum was moulded begining of pedagogical practices of teachers after inclusion. We have as objectives of research, to analysis the education inclusion process in net, to identify the pedagogical practices adopted by teachers and analysis the curriculum that were moulded after the inclusion in the Infantile Education of kids with NEES. In the realization of study adopted a qualitative approach, making use of semi structured interviews and document analysis in process of data collect. The results of research reveal that the process of educational inclusion executed in the schools and unitys of Infantile Education of municipal net if gave with big structural difficulty, mainly in the introdution of adaptations in access in the curriculum of Infantile Education. For the teachers, the kids inclusion with NEES was a big challenge in your pedagogical practices. The access in the school knowledge for this kids if gave, so, with the moulded curriculum by practices of teachers thah experienced the education inclusion movement in Cabana School.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A política de participação na educação de jovens e adultos no município de Belém (1997 - 2004)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-12-27) ARAÚJO, José Carlos Ferreira; HAGE, Salomão Antonio Mufarrej; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1723722364556016This work analyzes the Politics of participation in the Education of Youths and Adults (EJA) in the context of Brazilian capitalist development, focalizing the programs and the experiences implemented in the municipal district of Belém, State of Pará, during the period from 1997 to 2004. In the analysis we will privilege the relationships among the level macro (Calculation Partition and Congress of the City) and the level micron (PROALFA and MOVE) implemented by the City hall of Belém, that are known as patterns of instances characterized by the participation of the population in the discussion and elaboration of politics and development projects and the historical ransom of the experiences and programs executed in that teaching modality. It is still our intention to identify like SEMEC and other municipal organs were restructured, to create and to strengthen responsible sections for that teaching modality. In the investigative process we will use the research, of qualitative character. This way, to trace a panorama concerning the thematic the following procedures we used: bibliographical researches, documental researches. We will be using the conceptual categories of power-participation and of the controlled participation. To level macro, in spite of the progresses observed in the popular participation in Belém, one cannot affirm that the civil society has assumed the control about the municipal planning. It can be inferred that this happened in shared way between the municipal power and the civil society in which the organization and the dynamics of operation of the Calculation Partition and the Congress of the City allowed the decentralization of the decisions on the public politics that they started to happen inside of the Council of the City, maximum organ of decision in the Congress of the City. That was the way found by the Municipal Power of legitimating the participation of the civil society. PROALFA and MOVA were it part of the educational politics of the Government of the People and their political and cultural action is affirmed, getting important the partnership concept and dialogue among being able to public and civil society. The first paper of the Government of the People in relation to PROALFA and MOVA was to be placed as propeller of the creation and of the implement of the Movement, what was constituted as controlled participation, therefore it had origin in the government's concession. Those instances as the Calculation Partition and the Congress of the City and PROALFA and MOVA had their limitations, in the same way that is recognized that they are still very far away from a participation full massive – powerparticipation, because of its complex construction. But it is necessary to recognize that there was advance in the democratization process and decentralization in Belém, existing an enormous progress in the construction of public politics for that teaching modality.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A produção de pequenos objetos de madeira: um estudo de caso: a empresa "Móveis Souza"(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-02) MONTEIRO, Shirley do Socorro Magalhães; ANTONAZ, Diana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7547028254641362This research was organized around the production of a small wooden object, so as to try to depict its biography, from a point of observation at enterprise Móveis Souza, where it is conceived and made. In achieving the production of this object cooperate the owner and his son, as well as the wife of the former who manages the family business. Object creation, which means art to the owner, as well as the specific work organizatioen constitute unique conditions which are essential to achieve the production of such object. Moreover, the circumstances in which the owner starts using wood residues, and how this decision attaches environmental quality to production, which on its turn is the central elements connected to the invention of a regional production. The introduction of design in the state of Pará mediates the invention of Pará and Amazonian regional products.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Trajetória da Companhia Têxtil de Castanhal: a mais pura fibra amazônica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-11-10) SOUZA, Narda Margareth Carvalho Gomes de; SILVA, Fábio Carlos da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3704903975084467This work describes the historical trajectory of the Companhia Têxtil de Castanhal (CTC), a industry located at the Amazon Region, dedicated to spinning and weaving of the jute fiber, showing how it has standing in face of the jute producing chain in Brazil, sustaining itself in the textile sector for a long time, even in front of many adversities, becoming the national leader in the manufacture of jute products. The period reported in this study was from 1966 to 2006, relating some aspects about the origin and historical and socio-economic points of this kind of natural fiber, with the purpose to fundament a better understanding of the reasons of the founder for the emerging of the Company, the trusteeship of the Pacheco Borges Family, strategies adopted, obstructions, innovations, expansion and market movements.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A vida dirige o rio: cem anos de ocupação cabocla e extrativismo madeireiro no Alto Capim(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2003-02-17) MEDINA, Gabriel; SHANLEY, PatríciaIn the Brazilian Amazon, the increasing rate of deforestation has prompted the international research community to look for solutions that reconcile conservation and development. Since the late 1980s, researchers throughout the world have explored the role that extraction of non-timber forest products (NTFPs) could have to the well-being of forest dwellers as well as to the environment. This thesis explores the role that NTFPs play in the lives of rural communities in a dynamically changing timber frontier region along the Capim River in the eastern Amazonian state of Pará. As the timber industry advances throughout the Amazon basin, communities located along logging frontiers are increasingly approached to sell the rights to their timber. Such communities consider several aspects to assess the value of forest products. Besides socio-economic and ecological values (real value), there is relative value, which strongly influence the way resources are used. This relative value is based on representations regarding the importance of forest products and on the context in which these representations are formed. To explore this theme, the thesis begins with a historical reconstruction of a caboclo community focusing on forest resource use and dynamics during the last hundred years. For the households within the study communities, timber always represented a natural heritage that could be spent over time. It was the principal product with market value and, during initial timber sales, extraction did not significantly reduce access to other forest products. Therefore, timber resources represented an inheritance with exchange value and little conflicting use. Four socioeconomic factors were identified which influenced communities to sell timber despite the losses in NTFPs that they began to experience over time: 1) paternalistic relationships among buyers and caboclos; 2) difficulties in common property resource management; 3) quick cash gained from timber sales guaranteed access to market products and; 4) expanding market involvement required increased cash to meet increasing needs. To understand the value which communities grant to forest products in their decision-making it is fundamental to identify the real alternatives that NTFPs represent to households and to compare this with other land use options.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Abelhas das orquídeas (Apidae: Euglossini) e as plantações de palma de óleo (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) na Amazônia Oriental: mudanças na composição de espécies, tamanho corporal e diversidade funcional(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-08-02) BRITO, Thaline de Freitas; MAUÉS, Márcia Motta; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0976385386657517; CONTRERA, Felipe Andrés León; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0888006271965925In this study, we evaluated the role of legal reserves (LR) and areas of permanent protection (APP) in the maintenance of orchid bee species, and we tested the influence of abiotic and habitat parameters on taxonomic and functional diversity of this group. In addition, we investigated the occurrence of phenotypic variations (body and wing size, and fluctuating asymmetry) in response to environmental stress caused by oil palm plantations. Orchid bee males were sampled in nine areas (3 RL, 3 APP, and 3 oil palm plantations) in the municipality of Tailândia, southeast of the state of Pará. In each area, we installed six separate sampling stations, 500 m apart, each one with six scent traps; totaling 36 traps per area, and 108 per habitat type. We compared differences in observed abundance and richness using a One-Way ANOVA, we evaluated species composition patterns with a PCoA, and we also used a species indicator analysis. A partial RDA was applied to evaluate the influence of habitat attributes, space and habitat type on taxonomic and functional parameters of bees. In addition, we compared body and wing size variations of the individuals through the types of habitat. Our results indicate that oil palm areas are characterized by the presence of few individuals and species, low functional diversity, and by larger bees. Despite this, we recorded four species associated to LR, which can be useful indicators of orchid bee’s communities in the Amazon rainforest. The habitat structure was not a good predictor of both functional and taxonomic composition, and no levels of fluctuating asymmetry were detected, but bees from oil palm showed larger wings compared to forest areas. Our research highlights that APPs play an important role in maintaining both taxonomic and functional composition of orchid bees, which could reinforce the fact that bees use these areas as displacement corridors in a matrix formed by oil palm plantation. Thus, both LRs and PPAs areas fulfill their purpose of protecting the biodiversity of orchid bees.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Abordagem CTS no ensino de astronomia: formação de professores mediada pela situação problema “Centro de Lançamento de Alcântra”(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-01-20) SANTANA, Elisangela Barreto; FREITAS, Nádia Magalhães da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2982253212145468This work is a result of focused research to understand the contribution and seize the possibilities and restrictions of the Science, Technology and Society (STS) approach, mediated by a situation – problem in continuing education teachers, in order to provide a reflective, critical and independent of science teachers in specific in Astronomy Education. The theoretical constructions around the teacher training are guided in the arguments of reflective teacher, but this very intentional reflective practice from the perspective of reflection to action. The weaknesses and astronomy education challenges are presented in the theoretical frameworks and the construction of a new reference in this context was given by the discussions and buildings around the case "Alcântara Launch Center". The environment that composed this research was a continuing education course, aimed at science teachers in the context of an action research as part of a qualitative research. The study gathered seven professors of federal network, state and municipal school, which through an investigative action, in inverted symmetry format, appropriated the theoretical and practical frameworks of STS teaching approach. The analysis methodology, my choice was the discursive textual analysis by understanding it as a facilitator of the process to seek, express and construct meaning the investigated field. In this respect, I realized the relevance of excerpts related to the constructions of knowledge and training buildings, which led me to organize and present the results in two sections, namely: (1) citizen Education: articulating CTS and scientific knowledge on astronomy: this section includes buildings necessary for the appropriation of scientific knowledge related to the issue and problem Alcantara, (2) Reflective training for professional intentional action: in which converged the prospects of reflex actions in the sense of reflection for action, converging different perspectives of the subjects around personal and professional values, necessary for conscious and intentional professional action. The work showed me the practical value of the STS approach and the possibility of Astronomy teaching be presented in context, and reflective practice. As for teachers, provided the construction of a new framework and the possibility of a differentiated pedagogical practice, focused on civic education.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Abordagem da bioética em âmbito escolar: proposições constantes de livros didáticos de biologia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-06-20) CONCEIÇÃO, Luiz Carlos Silva; ARAGÃO, Rosália Maria Ribeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5651914385447486This research aimed to clarify whether and how bioethics is treated in textbooks of biology high school, as well as analyzing how to approach the theme in these books helps students to meet him, becoming able to understand and think critically about the subject and issues in the contemporary context. To do this, investigated books offered by the National Textbook for Secondary Schools (PNLEM) in the light of some assumptions of content analysis methodology. Beacon this search on two guiding questions, namely: (i) What is written on bioethics in biology textbooks? (ii) With what frequency and intensity of this theme is presented in these textbooks? In this perspective, for the first question, the propositions of the books that underlie the issue could be framed in two broad categories: holistic medical bioethics and bioethics. These categories of greater amplitude could be divided into subcategories on different topics and issues (cloning, stem cells, etc.) That are part of the theoretical field of bioethics, for which I sought to make some inferences about the manifest content and explicit selected books that express some kind of reflection on the ethics of the issues addressed, analyzing them in light of theoretical frameworks of bioethics. The analysis of the second question in sub-dispensed split because, in general, bioethics is scarce and too superficial in the way it has been presented in textbooks, failing to elicit reflection by the reader. The approach to bioethical issues in basic education is essential, since the impacts caused by techno-scientific development are becoming more pronounced in society and the environment. Thus, it is essential that the biology textbooks undergo an intense reformulation in order to be pedagogically to monitor changes complemented by acclaimed new guidelines and bases for the Brazilian educational system that, at least in theory, recommend actions for Education, especially school education, aimed at an efficient and effective ethical and citizen.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Abordagem de leitura de texto em imagens provenientes de redes sociais para ganho em disponibilidade de dados(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-10-19) FERREIRA NETO, Luiz Cortinhas; SANTANA, Ádamo Lima de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4073088744952858This work aims to propose a methodological adaptation in the process of social network analisys, based on the inclusion of text extracted from images that are obtained from the social networks themselves. Highly important for market intelligence, product analysis, CRM and SCRM processes, since these are market trends used by large companies, thus, promotes financial and research incentives. The adaptation proposed in here has its importance based on data availability, which has become increasingly restricted, thanks to the use of APIs, interfaces of data access management where, in several different ways, each social network limits the data query, either by type of data, quantity or collected window. This research intends to prove, through case studies, that there is relevant information gain to sentiment analyses process when textual data derived from images are used.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma abordagem metodológica para implementação multi-modelos de teste de software adotando o MPT.Br e o TMMi(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-01-20) BRITO NETO, Olavo Nylander; OLIVEIRA, Sandro Ronaldo Bezerra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2080791630485427Through the years software quality models and correlated has emerged and gained more space in software development organizations. These models cover the entire development process, or specific areas of the process. Due the test area qualify the result of the products generated with the reduction of defects found during the development and being an area with little attention during this development process. This work presents a methodology for implementing multi-process models of software testing. Emphasizing an approach used to create material support in implementing multi-models applied in models MPT.Br and TMMi, aligning with the present levels of maturity models, emphasizing the methodology and materials generated during this process. Thus, the discussed subject consists of identify these approach and the dialog established in a more specific way with the curriculum of the beginning formation of these teachers. The dialog between the text (curriculum) and reader (researcher) permit, by the language, to identify several prejudices that according to Gadamer are inherited by the tradition. The hermeneutical task, in this aspect, consists in finding the legitimate prejudice being fundamental for comprehension. After saying that, and besides the study done, the resurrection is being kept as a the approach of the death remarkable comparing to the others that still happen, due to the presence of the strong presence of catholic Judeo-Christian tradition on Brazilian society, serving as a basis and maintenance of several legitimate concepts of illegitimate reaching Science of Religion and Religious Study, restricting the importance of other approach as in the beginning studies as in the practice of the curricular compound, implying in the dialogue and in the comprehension itself of the being, that can be understood as language.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Absorção do dióxido de carbono por resíduo de bauxita em torres de absorção(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-03-04) BOTELHO, Fernando Aracati; MACÊDO, Emanuel Negrão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8718370108324505; SOUZA, José Antônio da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6157348947425968One of the most discussed environmental problems on the world scene today is global warming and its implications. Although the greenhouse effect is a natural phenomenon, the increase in emissions of gases such as CO2 from the combustion process may favor its aggravation. Following this line, there is interest in conducting research to minimize the release of this gas in the atmosphere. This work aims to study the process of absorption of carbon dioxide by aqueous phase of bauxite residue (soda and dissolved ions in solution) in spray tower and tower saddles random (both pilot scale), as well as check the pH change in this absorption process to both towers. Evaluate pH change and CO2 absorption capacity by considering the following variables: the type of absorption tower, using the supernatant as the absorbent means and the use of the suspension heated by resistances. The results showed that the suspension of bauxite residue absorbed significant amount of CO2, both the spray tower as the tower saddles. The average absorption rate was around 8.42% for the spray tower and 9.34% for the tower saddles. The ability carbonating the suspension of 27%-p was about 33.3 kg CO2 per tonne of waste and there was a substantial reduction of the alkalinity of the residue by reaction with gaseous effluents with a mean decrease of 4.0 and 3.5 pH units for the tower saddles and sprinkler respectively.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ação antimicrobiana do óleo essencial de Piper Aduncum e dilapiol em infecções de pele(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-25) FERREIRA, Roseane Guimarães; MAIA, José Guilherme Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1034534634988402Piper aduncum L. is a plant with several biological properties such as antimicrobial activity, which is mainly associated with the action of its essential oil rich in dilapiolle. In recent years, the occurrence of skin infections caused by bacteria and fungi increased considered shape. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of essential oil of P. aduncum (OEPA) and dilapiolle, its major constituent, against pathogenic skin micro-organisms and their attachments. The antimicrobial activity was performed using the microdilution method and Forming Units count Cologne (UFC) for determining the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC), the Bactericidal Concentration Minimum (CBM) and Minimum Fungicidal Concentration (CFM). These plant compounds were tested against the filamentous fungi dermatophytes (FFD) and not dermatophyte (FFND), gram-positive bacteria and yeast. The results showed Trichophyton mentagrophytes front (ATCC and clinical isolate), MIC values of 500μg.mL-1 for OEPA and dilapiolle and CFM 1500 and 1000 µg.mL-1 , respectively. For clinical isolates of Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum the MIC values of 500μg.mL-1 and CFM 1500μg.mL-1 , were similar for the two compounds as well as Microsporum canis and Microsporum gypseum with MIC values of 250μg.mL-1 and CFM 500μg.mL-1 . The Aspergillus fumigatus ATCC FFND showed an MIC of 3.9μg.mL-1 and 7.8 μg.mL-1 and the clinical isolate strain MIC of 3.9μg.mL-1 and CFM 15.6 μg.mL-1 for both. However showed no activity against Candida albicans and the yeast bacteria Staphylococcus aureus in the concentrations used.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A ação coletiva de agricultores integrados à agroindústria de dendê na Associação dos Moradores e Agricultores Familiares da Região do Igarapé-Açu de Baixo, em Irituia - Pará.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-11-17) OLIVEIRA, Khety Elane Holanda de; SCHMITZ, Heribert; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2294519993210835In this study, I analyze the performance of the common partners and the board of directors of the Association of Residents and Family Farmers of Igarapé-Açu de Baixo (Amafib), in the municipality of Irituia, Pará, in proposals related to collective action with its partners, the Central Social Organizations Between the Rivers Guamá and Capim (Consergc) and the multinational company Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) in the context of the integration of family agriculture to the agro-industry of palm. The methodology consisted of a case study with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The following were carried out: direct observation of meetings and work activities of the partners; non-directive and semi structured interviews between August 2019 and February 2020; and review of pertinent literature, prioritizing the categories collective action, associativism and productive integration. The results show that Amafib's actions with its partners have been favorable to the members of the association. In the cooperation with Consergc, several demands have been reached, such as the suitability of weighing the fruits for the digital balance, the sale of fertilizers by the company itself, the increase in the price paid for the palm oil and the marketing of tools through collective purchase. In a scenario of negotiations between the parties for the common good, Consergc has a leading role in the collective action and contributed to the good progress of the projects.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ação coletiva na criação e gestão do projeto de assentamento Paulo Fonteles em Mosqueiro, Belém – Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-08-27) PANTOJA, Rosiane Cristina Pimentel; SCHMITZ, Heribert; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2294519993210835The research presented aims at studying the forms of organization for cooperation in the creation and management of Settlement Project Paulo Fonteles in Mosqueiro, Belém - Pará. For this case study, we used a qualitative approach from the application interviews with semi-structured questionnaire. The research problem grounded both in theories of social movements, with discussions of social events, as the French School of Sociology of Organizations with discussions of the organizations and the centrality of power. Restlessness is understand how social groups influence the forms of cooperation for the creation and management of the Settlement Project Paulo Fonteles. It is observed that social movements have been the intermediary of collective action in the struggle for agrarian reform, becoming references of continuity of struggles and ensuring the mobilization of families for collective action. The common goal for the conquest of the land is what secured the commitment and cooperation for the occupation of the settlement. But the conquest of the land reflects a multifaceted reality, because families have different prospects as housing, production, employment, among others. The increase in the number of settlements and the increased production questioned the need for agrarian reform as a policy for rural development. The MST, reaffirming that public policy, has proposed new forms of organization of settlements, called "commune land". These settlements are located close to metropolitan areas, in order to serve the population of these suburbs, which demand for land for housing and employment. These new settlements are aimed at the incorporation of urban infrastructure to facilitate the production and market relations. For the proposal to be successful, cooperation becomes a central theme. Thus, the settlement, is observed that cooperation takes place at different levels because there is no settlement without cooperation, much less groups that do not have membership. Therefore, the largest membership and engagement are located in the rules of power, with more or less the same centrality. Thus, we identified that while the association has the president the centralization of power, the group's collective 'mutirão' (local organization) has a balanced management, leading to greater involvement of families to the cooperation of the management of the settlement Paulo Fonteles.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ação coletiva sob influência da dendeicultura: um estudo de caso sobre a Central das Organizações Sociais entre os rios Guamá e Capim (CONSERGC)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019) BALIEIRO, Marciclei Lopes; SCHMITZ, HeribertI analyze the experience of formal organization of family farmers integrated with oil palm in the Central of Social Organizations between the Guamá and Capim Rivers (CONSERGC). The central category of research is collective action in rural areas. I use Mancur Olson's theory of economics and the contributions of the French school of sociology of organizations to understand how cooperation is being built from the actions of the actors involved. The participation and management categories also stand out during the project, which is why I highlight the process of building self-management. Data were collected between June 2017 and February 2019, using a script, the methodology was based mainly on open interviews with the application of a semi-structured questionnaire and direct observation. I also conducted a literature review on the theme addressed in this work and did a documentary research with relevant data on the object of study. I present the context in which CONSERGC was proposed and created. I identify and characterize how the mobilization of farmers and leaders took place based on the performance of organizations such as the local STTRs, FETAGRI and, above all, the ADM company for integration in the oil palm project and for the organization as an association. Despite the difficulties that accompany the trajectory of the formal organization in the Northeast of Pará (credit, technical assistance, income, management, among others), the initiative is seen by most farmers as an opportunity. The possibility of organizing production, accessing some financing or project and improving family income were pointed out by the interviewees as important factors for engaging in associations. The organization presents difficulties that were identified in the research, among them: the lack of resources to develop its economic, social and logistical activities to gather members. However, the data showed that for the short time that CONSERGC has existed, the organization's associative proposal is in promising development. This finding makes reference: the performance of its board and its leaders, who have found solutions to the recurring difficulties; the trust of associates in their managers and the good level of participation of associates in meetings and meetings that, even by representation, assume an important role in the organization's operating strategies. The participation and construction of the action based on game of interests, they were negotiated within the organization and have been important for the continuity of the collective action analyzed here. Among the results of the research clipping, it is concluded that the interest of Integrated Associations in affiliating with a Central of Associations is related, in principle, to the mobilization and incentive given by ADM company for the creation of organizations. Subsequently, CONSERGC was seen by the associates as a facilitator of the dialogue with the company and, among the advantages, a means to obtain improvements in the integration contract. Empirical data revealed that few farmers read the contract in its entirety and, through CONSERGC's performance, they are being able to review some contractual clauses of paramount importance to their interests within the palm project such as in relation to price and price. weight of the product, these being the items most cited by the integrated. Despite being a specific case study, this work can cItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ação da ciclosporina A na via de ativação do fator de crescimento de nervo (NGF) em células neurais do SNP(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-08-26) JESUS, Jessica Batista de; SENA, Chubert Bernardo Castro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8620752020290438; NASCIMENTO, José Luiz Martins do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7216249286784978A is an immunosuppressive drug with known action on T cells of the immune system used in organ transplantation and autoimmune diseases. In the nervous system, cyclosporin A acts by inhibiting the action of Calcineurin, an important second messenger from pathway of signal transduction Nerve Growth Factor (NGF), resulting in hyperphosphorylation of the nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT), and downregulation of NGF, TrkA and other factors that participating in this pathway. The NFAT1-4 family are dependent isoforms of calcineurin, while NFAT5 isoform is independent. It has been demonstrated the neuroprotective role of Cyclosporin A via calcineurin dependent or independent. In this study, we evaluate the action of Cyclosporine A in the PNS system, that could be associated with levels of NGF, TrkA and an independent of calcineurin transcription factor (NFAT5) that interplay the plasticity of neuronal cells derived from Dorsal root ganglia (DRG) maintained in cultures. We use E10 DRG cultures supplemented with medium conditioned E9 Retinal treated with Cyclosporin A for 48 and 72 hours. Cultures enriched neurons were confirmed by calcium imaging method. The action of Cyclosporine A in the neuritogenesis was assessed by bright field microscopy, expression of NGF, TrkA and NFAT5 was performed by RT-PCR, intracellular accumulation of NGF was evaluated by immunofluorescence and the presence of TrkA in neurons. The viability test of the cultures treated or not with the concentrations of 1-40μM Cyclosporine A was performed by MTT method. The results show an increase of NGF levels in mixed cultures, and TrkA receptor and NFAT5 in cultures enriched in neurons following treatment with cyclosporine A. Given the importance of NGF pathway in the development and maintenance of the SNP, the use of Cyclosporin A have activity in the peripheral nervous system cells, which might be used in the clinic with new target for new therapies.
