Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aplicação da metodologia P.E.I.R na análise da qualidade socioambiental da bacia hidrográfica do rio Mocajuba-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-11) OLIVEIRA, Indiara da Silva; PIMENTEL, Márcia Aparecida da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3994635795557609River basins are key geographic units in water resource management, and river basin problems throughout the world are mainly due to anthropogenic pressure related to land use, domestic effluent disposal, agricultural and industrial effluents, soil erosion, Deforestation, changes in the structure of the biotic communities, among others (GIORDANO et al., 2004, TANAKA, 2008 and DELINOM, 2008). The object of study of this research is the Mocajuba River Basin - BHRM, located in three municipalities of northeast São Paulo: São João da Ponta, Terra Alta and Curuçá, in the demarcation of its limits are contained two Conservation Units. In the western portion the São João da Ponta Marine Stratigraphic Reserve and in the eastern portion the Marine Extraction Reserve Mãe Grande de Curuçá. In general, this river basin has been undergoing degradation as a consequence of lack of basic sanitation, territorial occupation in inappropriate places, deforestation of mangrove areas and other areas for the expansion of agriculture, degradation of Permanent Protected Areas (PPAs), fires, Sedimentation of water bodies (ICMBIO, (2010); PANTOJA, (2012); RODRIGUES & FRANÇA, (2014); TELES, (2016)). And for lack of a management plan, it can manage its various uses. On the other hand, the Mocajuba river has a high importance for the communities that live in its surroundings, since they need their resources for their survival, given that their economic, social and cultural activities are developed in these areas. Therefore, the conservation of natural resources and the sustainable management of BHRM are considered a strategic issue from the environmental point of view, as social and economic for these populations. In this sense, the aim of this research is to analyze the Mocajuba river basin, based on the model PEIR - Pressure-State-Impact-Response as an instrument to evaluate the conditions of use and management of this natural resource, with the aim of contributing to its management . This matrix (PEIR) is structured from the identification of causal anthropic activities or sources of pressures and impacts. These activities, based on socioeconomic, on natural resources produce pressures and impacts that alter the state of its components, in order to assist in mitigation, it is proposed by society or by the public power actions (answers) that can solve or soften them. The research is considered as descriptive, exploratory and in terms of the means evaluated as a case study resulting from the process of consulting the various social and institutional actors directly involved with the environmental problems of the basin. The developed methodological model constitutes an original tool for the area of environmental management, specifically, with respect to activities that impact the environment. Regarding the variables of the PEIR model, these were analyzed based on the absence or presence of the same to the sustainability, taking into account the dimension analyzed.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Diagnóstico ambiental da Reserva Extrativista Marinha de São João da Ponta: subsídios para o planejamento ambiental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013) FERREIRA, Welington Morais; PIMENTEL, Márcia Aparecida da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3994635795557609The environmental assessment and analysis of the suitability of the occupation permit identification of the most critical areas in the level of degradation is extremely relevant for the establishment of conservation measures, conservation and recovery. This study aimed to conduct an environmental diagnosis of Marine Extractive Reserve of St. John the tip through GIS techniques. Analyses based on information that make up the landscape of CU, especially in the use and occupation of land and the relationships between some aspects considered in the work. The analyzes included aspects related to the use and occupation of land , the region's climate , soil composition and its geomorphology , water resources , fauna and flora , the conditions of life in the communities , the risk of erosion. It was found that the basin water resources are being degraded , the use and land cover still has degraded areas and a process of fragmentation is occurring in the landscape , especially in the vicinity of CU. Potential sources of landscape degradation of mangroves have been identified in the vicinity of the unit , compromising the quality and quantity of the supply of resources . Urbanization is the most influential factor on the CU because it exerts a pressure on the EXRES . Irregular situation with respect to legislation and environmental preservation were detected in the basin . In most of CU along watercourses use and land cover have an advanced stage of regeneration , which refers to the process of occupation of northeastern Paraense . Ecological corridors linking the upland forests are degraded and inadequate , especially for not meeting the environmental function determined by the Forest Code , predominating in these areas pastures . An efficient environmental control policy is needed for these areas, and environmental planning appropriate to guide the occupation surrounding the CU and the adoption of measures for the recovery of the same.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ecologia de paisagem aplicada à análise ambiental do sítio arqueológico PA-BA-84: Alunorte em Barcarena-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-08-13) PEREIRA, Elves Marcelo Barreto; GONÇALVES, Nelson Veiga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8811269146444725; SENNA, Cristina do Socorro Fernandes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6622787329862653One of the task of the archaeological research in Amazon is to understand the relationships between past human populations and tropical rain forest. Is very important to define landscape units on contextual human occupation process and thus, to integrate this environmental data to archaeological sites context. This article aims to define the composition of conceptual landscape units of the archeological site PA-BA-84: ALUNORTE, utilizing the geographic approach of the Landscape Ecology as the efficient tool on archaeological patrimony preservation policy. This systemic approach outstanding the mutual interdependency of the landscape elements and yours interactions, generating two spacial units: microenvironment and macroenvironment of the archaeological site. The taxonomic classification of the landscape units is related to distinct spacial scales of geographic units, where geosystem unit is related to major scale of the site macroenvironment analisys, while geofacies unit and geotop unit are related to minor scales of the site microenvironment analisys. The results show the effort to define the conceptual limits of the archaeological sites and boths geographic and environmental context of the use of the space for distinct activities, that involve fishing, hunting party, searching of vegetable resource, ritual practices and others, generally preserved on boths archaeological artifacts and ecofacts.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Gestão de recursos pesqueiros na RESEX Mãe Grande de Curuçá: comunidade de Arapiranga de Dentro(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-03-04) CRUZ, Mariana Neves; RAVENA CAÑETE, Voyner; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9961199993740323This issue is about the co- management of the fishery resources in Protected Areas, emphasizing the RESEX Mãe Grande de Curuçá. Through the case of the community of Arapiranga de Dentro, this study aims to analysis how the management of the fishery resources are affected by this kind of government strategy. This study was made by bibliographical survey about the themes: Territory, Artisanal Fishery and Common Uses Resources. The qualitative research was made by Field work, semi – structured questionnaires application. Two sketches and maps were build aims to show the fishery use area of the community of Arapiranga. This study intends to analyze not only the Legal aspect of the protected areas but also how the specific Legislation are absorbed and inserted by the using population and how the local practices of resources extraction are affected by this kind of intermediation relation of the territory – population – resource.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A ribeira & a orla: espacialidades e territorialidades urbanas ribeirinhas em uma cidade amazônica em transformação(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013) LIMA, Michel de Melo; ALVES, Glória da Anunciação; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2061386575093025; TRINDADE JÚNIOR, Saint-Clair Cordeiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1762041788112837Based on the theory of spaces socially produced, the reflections of this study are in line with the theme: the relationship city-river in the Amazon developed through of a case study, the waterfront of Marabá city. The goal is to analyze the social production of the space and the territorial conflicts existing in face of recent Amazonian dynamics, taking into account local specificities of the economic, political and symbolic relationship/interaction among different agents with the river. For this, the historical and dialectical materialism was used as theoretical-methodological instrumental and the following procedures methodological of research: a) bibliographic review of relevant themes to the development of this work related to the urban geography and the geography of the Amazon, settled on the theory of the space socially produced; b) bibliographic research about the process historical and geographical of the waterfront and the city of Marabá; c) survey of the primaries and secondaries data and documentary sources of the study area; d) systematic field observation about the cityriver relationship in Marabá, with inventory of the urban landscape (identification, analysis and comparison of the elements) and its spatial, temporal and territorial dynamics; e) application forms based on the relationship among city and rivers in the waterfront; f) recording of individual interviews using semi-structured questions realized with the main agents (government representatives, residents, corporations, traders etc.) present in the waterfront of Marabá. Based on the collected and analyzed data, it was found a residual permanence of the riverine way of life in waterfront of Marabá, in spite of the modernization processes which passes the city. Moreover, the riverine permanence is under a conflictual relationship with agents/groups that understands the waterfront as a predominantly economic space, such as the State, the regional and local businesses, the large businesses, landowners and property developers. This context reinforces the importance of to pay attention to the specificities of the process to how the life is developed in “riverside” Amazon. Enables also to understand the complex, diverse and unequal form which it develops the relationship among cities – complex and contradictory space, use value par excellence – and rivers – an element that defines rhythms, signs, knowledge and socio-spatial urban dynamics in the regional context.
