Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise da produção de lodo de esgoto e da capacidade de disposição do aterro sanitário do Aurá na região metropolitana de Belém para os próximos 20 anos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-07-01) CUNHA, Débora Suely Anjos; PEREIRA, José Almir Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9918600634569244Belém Metropolitan Region has few and incomplete informations about production and destination of sewage sludge, because just little part of the sludge generated in septic tank and collective Sewage Works is throwed away without control in Aurá Sanitary Landfill. Because of this, is usual to throw the sludge in water bodies and in the ground, worsen the problems of pollution/contamination in the urban areas. Therefore, this work has the objective of analyzing the increase of production of sludge and evaluate the impact in the Aurá Sanitary Landfill. The search was developed in Belém Metropolitan Region, composed by Belém, Ananindeua, Benevides, Marituba and Santa Bárbara do Pará. It was divided in 2 stages. In the first stage it was estimated the production of the sludge (brute and drained) of septic tanks and in the collective Sewage Works during 2009 to 2030, and the second one was the availability of an area to disposal in the Aurá Sanitary Landfill. In the period studied, it was verified that by the way of the increase of the content of sludge drainage doesn’t has too many impact in the content of the residence solid waste, the deficiency of the available areas in the Aurá Sanitary Landfill is a problem that has to be solved as soon as possible, otherwise residence solid waste and sewage sludge produced in Belém Metopolitan Region won’t be well disposal, as a matter of fact that the prevision is the fast implicate of the free content of Aurá Sanitary Landfill.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Autodepuração do igarapé Santa Isabel no município de Santa Isabel do Pará - aplicação do modelo de Streeter-Phelps(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-03-23) MORAIS, Kauê de Mendonça Cerqueira; BARP, Ana Rosa Baganha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0286183914646934This research takes place in Santa Isabel of the Pará was assessed self-purification of the namesake creek through mathematical modeling proposed by Streeter-Phelps (1925). For this, during the period October 2009 to September 2010, we analyzed the physical and chemical parameters DO and BOD and certain hydraulic variables at 11 sampling points, divided into four sections of the watercourse. The result of the modeling indicated that the parts 1 and 2 have low self-purification in, they do not obey the standards of the legislation CONAMA 357/05. Finally, it is noteworthy that, in addition to unfavorable resilience that has Igarapé Santa Isabel, there is an effective action of the bodies responsible for monitoring the environmental quality of water resources so that there is control of the quantity of pollutants discharged into the creek. This way you can avoid that in a future scenario, serious problems due to multiple use of water from this source, compromising the health and well being of people dependent Igarapé Santa Isabel.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação do custo de construção em função do traçado da rede coletora de esgoto sanitário(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-29) FERREIRA, Rômulo Henrique Alvarada; PEREIRA, José Almir Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9918600634569244One of the main barriers to expansion of sewage system in the country is the high cost of implementation of sewage disposal system, as being directly related to depth. Considering this problem, this paper presents two different studies tracings collection network type absolute tab for the city of Santa Cruz Arari - Marajó - Pará, in order to find the smallest depth and consequently the best cost. First, we designed two stroke sewage disposal system in the area with the highest population concentration is scaled according to existing technical standards. From the quantitative surveys of each stroke, there were budget spreadsheets with the possibility to compare among themselves the best network cost. Although there was little difference in length between the two paths, the item is weighed more than the depth of the network along the stretch of arrival of Sewage Pumping Station, for example, the depth was 4.90m and 4.77 m for the Path 1 and Path to 2, respectively. Soon we had the best total cost was Trace 2, with a total value of R$ 908,329.11 versus R$ 1,021,818.11 in Trace 1, representing a savings of R$ 113,579.00 to the same location. According to the results obtained, it was possible to evaluate the study tracing sewage disposal system becomes important for any location, as in this case study, where the city presents great difficulties of access and reduced costs for system implementation sewage.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação espacial e sazonal da precipitação no estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-10-21) MENEZES, Franciani Pantoja; FERNANDES, Lindemberg Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4641468846318922The objective of this study was to evaluate the spatial variability and seasonal rainfall in the State of Para. Were used monthly data and annual rainfall of 66 rainfall stations available in hydrometeorological network of National Water Agency – ANA for the period 1982 - 2011. The data were organized with the help of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. The historical series that fail, these were corrected and consisted. Para is the second largest Brazilian state holds great extent and diversity of natural resources. In terms of density, the state, as well as the seven river basin showed low density of rainfall stations do not comply with the recommendations of the WMO as the minimum density of rain gauges, are areas that require better monitoring. As for seasonality, precipitation shows two distinct seasons, a drought (winter and spring in the Southern Hemisphere), with rainfall less than 100 mm, and a rainy season (summer and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere) with rainfall exceeding 200 mm. The results obtained by the Mann - Kendall and Spearman did not detect any trend of increase or decrease in rainfall during the study period. Through cluster analysis of monthly precipitation were defined 3 Homogeneous Regions with similar climatic characteristics (R1, R2 and R3) to the state of Para.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Comportamento de argamassas de revestimento quanto à retração, fissuração e mecanismo de descolamento em substratos de concreto(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-10-22) LIRA, Mariana Domingues von Paumgartten; MACEDO, Alcebíades Negrão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8313864897400179This research aims to evaluate the retraction, by the mortar superficial movement, occurrence of cracking and detachment of the mortar. Were choosed two types of substrate, one with a 30 Mpa resistance and other with 40 MPa resistance, also were used two types of mortar, one with additive and other lime based, two thicknesses of coating layer, from 15 mm and 30 mm, and was simulated the exposure condition that the region has.For this, tests were performed to characterize the mortar in the fresh state (consistency, water retention, air entrainment and mass density) and in the hardened state (compressive strength, tensile strength in bending, specific gravity, water absorption, voids and density). After preparation of the samples for evaluation, were taken the measures of superficial movement of the mortar for 28 days and the occurrence of cracks and detachment, as well as the verification of the bond strength of the coating and also the loss of water by evaporation of mortars. As a result of this research, it was observed that the variation of the resistance of the substrate analysis not showed a significant difference in the shrinkage, as well as the thickness of the layer to some series. It was also found that the type of mortar, or the material composition, has a direct influence on retraction. With regard to water loss by evaporation from the mortar, it can be seen that the additive achieved greater success in water retention materials. In the test of bond strength, was found that the most significant influence was in relation to the composition of the mortars and that they had values above the minimum allowed by regulatory norm.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desempenho estrutural de blocos, primas, mini-paredes e paredes de alvenaria estrutural confeccionadas com blocos cerâmicos produzidos a partir da mistura de lama vermelha com argila(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-03-27) COSTA, Diogo Henrique Pereira e; MACEDO, Alcebíades Negrão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8313864897400179New techniques for the improvement of residues have become increasingly important in constructions, especially when it comes to the use of residue from other industries and the reduction of natural raw materials. The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of a residue from the production of metallurgical alumina known as red mud (RM), the structural performance of blocks, prisms, mini-walls and walls made of ceramic blocks with reticulated and circular cross sections, produced from the mixture of clay and RM. Experimental tests were performed corresponding to the characterization of the materials used and testing of compressive strength of units, blocks, prisms, mini-walls and walls. All materials and units met the standard requirements for their correct use in experimental tests. The results of compression tests have shown that elements of the blocks made by mixing clay and RM parameters met the standards and showed satisfactory and superior results to the components made of composite ceramic blocks with 100% clay, usually employed in constructions.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Espacialização de informações na gestão de sistemas de abastecimento de água utilizando sistema de informação geográfica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-06-16) SANTOS, Aline Christian Pimentel Almeida; PEREIRA, José Almir Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9918600634569244To evaluate the spatial information in the management of Water Supply System (ATS). For this they were defined and adopted to the survey (Phase 1), being divided into data of actual losses, commercial and operating expenses. In Phase 2, the base map of study area and data used were stored and organized in a Geographic Information System (GIS) using ArcGIS 9.3 software, which built the data model for the study, and defined the topology be used for identification of specialized data, building the database and the creation of georeferenced layers. In phase 3 was calculated from water balance in the main units of SAAs studied with certain losses in raw water supply, treatment, on the reservation, and distribution. In phase four indicators were calculated to evaluate the performance of SAAs, including: coverage index, total index of actual loss, loss index in the collection, rate of loss of business, index of energy consumption in SAA, index of energy costs Electric, among others. In phase 5 was proposed to the spatial and GIS presentation of the results obtained in earlier phases. Thus, considering the data adopted, it was possible to identify the values of actual losses and performance indicators in each sector of the SAA studied, being, for example, sector 9, which presented the highest rate of total loss, reaching 59, 10%, followed by sections 4, 8 and 5. The most significant loss for the system was the loss distribution, with 9 industry to a loss of 57% loss on treatment was 3.4% in the third sector, and sectors with the highest loss of adduction weresectors 6 and 8, with 3.5%. The percentage of water unaccounted were higher in sectors 1 and 5. Sectors 1, 3, 4 and 6 are those with the highest energy consumption per volume of water produced. Therefore, the spatial data in GIS facilitated the visualization and data analysis adopted in this research.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Resistência ao cisalhamento de vigas “T” de concreto armado: verificação das longarinas da ponte sobre o rio Sororó(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) BRANCO, Vitor Hugo Lopes; OLIVEIRA, Dênio Ramam Carvalho de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1324105476558186The structural behavior of a T beam gives assessment of different contributions on shear strength between different parts of the same cross section, allowing to establish guidelines for the provision of shear and flexure reinforcement. To quantify the contribution of the flange and web of such section in the shear strength were experimentally investigated 10 reinforced concrete beams consisting of T section aiming to evaluate the recommendations of NBR, ACI and EC2 standards about T beams subjected to shear. One of the beams was the control beam to be compared with, the others were idealized with a variation on the size of the cross section of the flange, to increase the cross section concrete area. All of the beams had no stirrups and the longitudinal reinforcement was the same in all cases. The concrete compressive strength was 47 MPa. It is clearly observed that the cross section made great influence on the shear ultimate strength of the structural elements tested in the laboratory, despite the sudden collapse, it is understood that the development of critical shear cracks depends on how the longitudinal tension is distributed in accordance with shear. The rise of the ultimate strength in the beams with flanges was observed to a level near the double of the ultimate shear force presented by the beam , and more clearly in beams with hf=80 mm, in which the concrete contributions were able to modify the collapse of those specimens, due to the yield of the tensile reinforcement, and the gain of stiffness that was about 25% higher when compared to the rectangular beam in terms of displacements. Through the acquired results it was possible to estimate the ultimate shear strength gain of the beams of the bridge over the Sororó river of the Carajás railway, giving a gain of a rectangular beam strength multiplied by 1,93 in that case.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Segurança estrutural de uma ponte ferroviária em concreto armado sobre o rio Mãe Maria(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-12-21) SANTOS, Régis Rivo Ferreira dos; OLIVEIRA, Dênio Ramam Carvalho de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1324105476558186The study of the behavior of highway bridges has been, taking great prominence in the experimental area, because often there is a need for an increase of these mobile charges. The Company Vale, is worth form an agreement mad with the UFPA, sought to conduct studies of the resistant capacity of railway bridges that make up the Carajás raiboad, which passed to future shipments wich passed from 32 tf to 40 tf, causing considerable changes in the behavior of the structure a lack of maintenance or a maintenance of irregular reinforced concrete bridges can result pathological manifestations that can compromise safety and the risk of intervention by runoff. About the abeady discussed is the bridge over the river boiler located in the city of Marabá in the state of Pará, bridging the river identified as Mãe Maria 50A OAE, has a rectilinear path bacuted reinforced concrete cast in place consists of two spans hyperstatic totaling 64,20 m transposing the riverbeat in two spans of 20 m and cross section width of 5,85 m offering. It has become essential to assess their physical an monitoring with resistance electric gauges (slab, longitudinal beam, foundation blocks and piles, and encounters) that make up structure during the passage of trains carrying in addition to monitoring were performed as surface hardness by esclerometry and the estimation of the armature coating and the same location through pacometry, destructive tests such as extraction of test specimens to determine the tensile resistance and modulus of elasticity of concrete and the resistance to penetration testing through the carbonation of the inherent question of durability of the same to be compared with memory and calculation with three dimensional computer models developed via commercial software SAP2000® (Computers and Structures) the uses finite element method (MEF). The MEF was used to obtain the efforts enabling security checks according to standard recommendations, these comparisons are presented and discussed for the completion of the behavior of the stringers, knowing the precise structural capacity of the bridge and it’s useful life, you can ensure traffic compositions with greater safety.
