Artigo de Evento Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alegorias do sofrimento e da resistência: disposições afetivas da política em imagens fotográficas(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2022-06) LAGE, Leandro RodriguesThe purpose of the text is to present the general lines of an epistemological and also a methodological proposal for the debate on images, considered affective expressions of indignation, conviction and desire. It seeks to examine photographs of the artistic and photojournalistic regimes as allegories of the suffering and resistance of the Amazonian peoples, with the intention of discussing how these images manage and give visible and sensitive expression to experiences of suffering, to physiognomies of historical time, to survivals of the desire and political subjectivations. This proposal starts from the experimentalism of knowledge through allegories, rehearsing the theoretical-methodological productivity of the benjaminian allegorical episteme in the legibility of the images and tensioning the forms, correspondences, temporalities and conventions in the examination of images that offer an apprehension of history as an anachrony of sufferings and fights. The background to this approach is the inextricable link between image and politics.Artigo de Evento Acesso aberto (Open Access) Jovens e interação comunicativa na Amazônia paraense: entre o rural e o urbano(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2015-06) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; COSTA, Alda Cristina Silva da; IGREJA, Monique FeioThis article proposes a reflection about the way that communicative interactions are established among young people living in Murutucu island, Belém PA, belonging to a territory with practices marked by the articulation between the urban and the rural. The island is close to Belém - just 9 km -, and local young people live there in a continuous displacement between rural and urban, a factor that puts them in contact with different realities. This study enabled the data mapping related to the experience of living in the island, as well for the displacement to Belém. Moreover it allowed the characterization of the use of smartphone and the internet by young people of Murutucu. In the field research, questionnaires were used, targeted to 10 young people, in order to identify the young islanders profile.Artigo de Evento Acesso aberto (Open Access) Marcas culturais da Amazônia: dialogismo e construção de sentidos entre a televisão e a literatura na obra Dois Irmãos(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2022-06) COSTA, Vânia Maria Torres; COSTA, Alda Cristina Silva da; NUNES, Paulo Jorge MartinsWhen we think of culture as the social fabric that identifies us, it brings us closer and makes us feel belonging to a group, place and space in society, we reflect: what is the Amazon? And what cultural marks are present in the voices of those who speak to it? Our purpose in proposing this reflection is to analyze the mobilizing elements that construct the cultural sense of the Amazon in the encounter between the television and literary languages. That is, taking the word as an ethical act, action on the world and the other. As a scope of analysis, we selected the literary novel Dois Irmãos, adapted by Rede Globo de Televisão, in a miniseries and screened in January, 2017. Milton Hatoum's work narrates the family plot of the Lebanese descendants in Manaus in the first half of the twentieth century. We reflect that the television language, when narratively adapting the literary text, potentiates a dialogism and a polyphony of social voices, in the necessary relation of any expression with other expressions, recreating the verbal text and visually materializing the cultural elements of possible interpretation of the Amazon. That is, in narrative analysis the river becomes the metaphor of human existence, as streams of life that indicate, at the same time, serenity and current, tension and restlessness. The river represents memory and cultural construction.Artigo de Evento Acesso aberto (Open Access) O marketing da floresta: a promessa publicitária para as populações indígenas, populações tradicionais e novas populações do mundo global na Amazônia(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2020-06) AMARAL FILHO, OtacílioThe article analyzes the publicity promise offered by the consumer culture, highlighting the mediatization process of indigenous populations through the documentary “Os warriors of the forest”, which shows the sustainable experience of Huni-Kuin in Acre, of Paeter-Suruí in Rondônia, and the Yanomami in Amazonas as a form of resistance in the fight against the invasion of their lands. The communication process based on visuality and visibility is evidenced, which allows the presentation of the culture of these populations in a spectacular way, driven by the discourse of sustainability that guides, to a large extent, environmental activism and new sociability in media spaces.Artigo de Evento Acesso aberto (Open Access) Práticas discursivas na Amazônia: a disputa jornalística no plebiscito no Pará(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2016-06) NUNES, Paulo Jorge Martins; BRAGA, Thaís Luciana Corrêa; AQUINO, Evelyn Cristina Ferreira deThe article aims to identify and understand the belenense discursive practices about the plebiscite in Pará, in 2011, from the newspapers O Liberal and Diário do Pará. Discourse is taken as a singular communicative event that involves social actors in a specific environment. Journalism, as an act of the social word, inscribes the self and the other in situations of co-presence and mutual affectation. The communicational nature, proposed by Vera França, was adopted as a theoretical-methodological stance. The Critical Discourse Studies, proposed by Van Dijk, was used as data collection technique. The results indicated that the two newspapers built discourses contrary to the Pará division. O Liberal evidenced the market interest and political positioning according to the state government, treating Carajás and Tapajós as outsiders. Diário do Pará adopted an eminently political stance, in accordance with the interests of the RBA Group.Artigo de Evento Acesso aberto (Open Access) Suruacá. Experiência social e comunicação numa comunidade amazônica(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2014-06) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; CORDEIRO, Everaldo de SouzaThe paper discuss the significance of the idea of "communication" in an amazonian riverside community. Working with a hermeneutic perspective and the ethnographic method, it explores this sense from the social experience of the community. There is a topological central axis formed by the association between the ideas of community, organization and communication. With support from Simmel's understanding of the social forms and asymmetries, we propose that, in the observed community, communication is a form of meaning to those two contentes, community and organization and thus this topological axis conforms a language, a tool for mediation the asymmetry between the endogenous (the inhabitants of the community) and exogenous (an NGO and the Catholic Church, in its actions that place).
