Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise sistêmica da biodiversidade de sistemas agroflorestais (SAF) de agricultores familiares em Tomé Açu, PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-03-30) OLIVEIRA NETO, Mário Morais; GERARD, Blanc Lilian; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0310835136618539; ALVES, Lívia de Freitas Navegantes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1337509239539346This research followed the principles of two sciences for the elaboration of this dissertation: a forest ecology and a systemic approach. Seeking to integrate the complexity of family farmers with the richness and floristic diversity of SAF. Aiming, in general, to analyze, from a systemic approach, as possibilities of balance between ecological and socioeconomic factors of Agroforestry Systems (SAF) of family families from Tomé Açu, PA. Thus generating two chapters in the form of a scientific article with the following objectives: to examine the socioeconomic factors that influence the floristic diversity of agroforestry systems (SAF) of family families in the municipality of Tomé-Açu, PA; and analyze how family farmers' practices are able to favor the diversity and floristic richness of agroforestry systems in Tomé Açu, PA. The existence of outlier farmers was found in the correlation analysis, which they are, demonstrated the possibility of a system with high floristic diversity and that is profitable for them. The differential for these farmers reached such a resource that it was reached with a high number of spontaneous species (natural regeneration), but with an even greater number of fruit species for the supri-financial power. A different type of SAF was found, different from the others, called SAF with corridors of natural regeneration. It demonstrates a possibility of a balance between ecological and socioeconomic factors. For, even though it is a highly rich and diverse SAF, in floristic terms, it also provides the means of economic resilience for family members. Thus, the SAF with natural regeneration brokers is recommended for other family farmers who live in situations similar to those used here.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Comunidad negra de Itacoã: territorio, biodiversidad y organización social, pilares para el etnodesarrollo?(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2005-03-22) SCOLES CANO, Ricardo; ACEVEDO MARIN, Rosa Elizabeth; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0087693866786684This research analyses and argues the possibilities and limitations of ethno-development in the black community of Itacoã from the study of its sustainability pillars: land, biodiversity and social organization. It should be taken into account that this village, located in the region of “Baixo Acará”, is undergoing a process of transformation of its productive activities due to a big demand of economic incomes from its families. Therefore, the use and management of the natural resources, the geographical closeness to the city of Belem do Para, and the internal management ability have all contributed as positive factors to improve the living conditions of the local population. However, the high rate of population compared to the geographical extension, the underground level of most social services and the seasonal difficulties to get some wages have all become obstacles to carry out rural development practices. It is also worth mentioning the preservation of the diversity of medicine and fruit plants in the area of research, as a result of the traditional agro forest management and the contradictions derived from the relations among the different families in the village and among them and the institutions involved, both state and private ones.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sistemas agroflorestais com açaizeiro em terra firme, Abaetetuba, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-08) VIANA, Cléber Soares; MENDES, Ronaldo Lopes Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3384080521072847; MANESCHY, Rosana Quaresma; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5914095913079907The market demand for the açaizeiro fruit led research to seek alternatives to the management of açaizal traditionally practiced by riverside dwellers in the floodplain areas. And to meet the growing demand for the fruit, the species went from collecting extraction to domestication, and subsequently went through a process of selecting genetic material for the creation of cultivars adapted to terra firma and which produce in the off-season. Cultivation on land in a polycultural system can diversify the farmer's income. Thus, this research aimed to carry out a diagnosis of agroforestry systems (SAF) with açaizeiro on land, in order to contribute with information for the improvement in the management of these systems in the municipality of Abaetetuba - PA. The methodology used in the development of the research was the case study and the qualitative approach. SAFs were characterized with açaizeiro on land developed with and without the support of local technical assistance. And from the information collected in the field, didactic material was elaborated to systematize the local knowledge about the SAF implantation with açaizeiro on dry land, and a technical note to subsidize the technical assistance and the local managers about the peculiarities of these productive systems in the municipality to contribute with local development. The research characterized the different SAF arrangements with açaí on dry land, species used and main difficulties for implementing these systems.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sistemas agroflorestais pecuários: o uso de espécies arbóreas como alternativa para o redesenho da paisagem rural e reabilitação de pastagens degradadas em São Domingos do Araguaia - PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-12-15) FERNANDES, Igor Luiz Cunha; LOPES, Luis Otávio do Canto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1013147545099173; MANESCHY, Rosana Quaresma; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5914095913079907The research aimed to generate models of livestock agroforestry systems that can contribute to the redesign of the rural landscape and local development in southeastern Pará. The research was carried out from 2018 to 2020 in the municipality of São Domingos do Araguaia - PA. Tree species with the potential to integrate livestock agroforestry systems in different types of arrangements were selected according to local specificities based on bibliographic research and a field experiment that analyzed the management, production of nutritional quality of the species tested, namely: Gliricidia sepium (Jacq.) Walp., Guazuma ulmilifolia Lam., Albizia saman (Jacq.) F. Muell., Erythina glauca Willd. and Chloroleucon tortum (Mart.) Pittier ex Barneby & JW Grimes. From the results, the models of eligible arrangements were simulated, according to the biophysical characteristics of the location. The research also simulated the redesign of the rural landscape on a farm and a settlement in the municipality of São Domingos of Araguaia in the case of adopting strategies for incorporating the tree component in the rural landscape to restore the permanent protection area. Based on the results of the research, agroecological records on species and arrangements were prepared to support the work of rural technical assistance in the municipality to adopt these systems.
