Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A compreensão do sofrimento no escalpelamento: um estudo utilizando o grafismo e o teste das fábulas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-06-29) VALE, Jesiane Calderaro Costa; SOUZA, Airle Miranda de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5311796283730540Studies on scalpel events have been very scant. Very few are to be found in the areas of medicine, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. The existing studies give priority to the physical, organic and corporal aspects of the event. In this paper, we study the scalpel event under the perspective of Psychology; focusing, on the psychological suffering and its expression. For this purpose we have used clinically qualitative methods. We have elected two projective instruments as well: The Fables Test according to Düss, and drawings of the human body. The research took place in the Santa Casa de Misericórdia Foundation in the city of Belém, Pará in Brazil. Two patients, victims of scalpel events, were contacted as participants. The criteria for their selection, was the following: that the event occurred more than six months ago; that they be no longer in the hospital; that they presented physical and psychological conditions to take part; and that their parents authorized their participation in this study. We concluded, that the psychological suffering manifested by the victims, cannot be denied. They suffered a tragedy, but the impact of this scalpel event proved to be an unprecedented experience, unquestionably subjective and markedly singular in nature. In sight of this problem, we verified that it was not only ones body that suffered the pain, but their psychological being as well. We highlight the use of the referred instruments as favorable resources of expressing this pain.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A consagração periódica de José Veríssimo (1877-1884)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-04-27) PAMPLONA, Alessandra Greyce Gaia; SALES, Germana Maria Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8723885160615840It discusses the social, political and cultural life of the writer José Veríssimo through his production between the years 1877 to 1884, in Belém do Pará. Focusing on Astronomy concepts, researches are still scarce in Brazil, especially those related to Education for Young and Adult Learners (Educação de Jovens e Adultos EJA). This paper goal was to comprehend, through the historic and cultural theory, EJA students construction of concepts related to movements of the Earth-Moon-Sun system, in their interactions with the teacher and schoolmates in the classroom. The research was conducted in an EJA Ensino Médio class at the Application School Federal University of Pará. The class had 19 students, from 16 to 37 years old. The data collection took place during the term semester, beginning with questionnaires. They had open questions about the theme in order to investigate the students previous conceptions. After that, the thematic classes were audio and video recorded. During the classes the students gave explanations for the day-night succession on Earth, individually or in groups spontaneously formed by the students, and then they were reorganized by their teacher. The registers were transcribed and analyzed in a micro-genetic way. The students answers to the initial question about the day-night succession on Earth were categorized in four levels A, B, C and D, from the farthest and the closest scientifically accepted scholar concept. The achieved results showed 13 students made the conceptual profile better, because they migrated from the A, B or C levels to the D one in the answers category, that is, these students understood that the day-night succession was a result of the Earth rotation movement. The other 6 students, already at the level D, kept in that level, although they improved their explanation if we compare their first and last answers. Three students were selected in order to analyze their micro-genetic knowledge construction process. They had their initial written answers classified in A or B levels, and during the interactions with their teacher and the other students, they achieved the scientific discourse elements, giving theoretical explanations to the observed phenomenon. The results show different adjustment mechanisms of Educational help offered by the teacher and the students, they show the importance of a dialogist approach and a work with different group formats in the classroom.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A democratização da gestão escolar no município de Santa Bárbara do Pará a partir do PDE(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-04-26) CASTRO, Maria Rosana de Oliveira; SANTOS, Terezinha Fátima Andrade Monteiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9502681594591950This study is on schools management democratization in Santa Bárbara do Pará promoted by PDE. It intended to identify PDEs contributions to school management , based on analyses of actions done at Escola Municipal do Livramento. It presents a discussion on State reform and the new proposal of public management, wich is more flexible and able to adapt itself to the tecnological development and to the new global economy needs, that made the State reform to give more importance to values like effient and qualitative services as well as management culture in the organizations. This work shows the connections between educational system and capitalism, that demanded, because of the agrarian exportation crisis (1920) and the improvement of urban-industrial field, better access to schools, mainly to the cities population, relationing education to development and to economy to solve the crisis. It is possible to observe, trhough the research, that educational public policies, originated from international organizations created new forms of regulation and management in the country, in this context appear Fundescola/PDE proposal of management, that reforces the principals role as a leader. The study verified that educational attendance at Pará and at North Region is centred over the eight first years in school (period called fundamental teaching), revealing a great difference from infantile education (little children) and middle teaching (teenagers) that receive few economic attentions. The discussion, presented, on management modernization focus the importance of autonomy and of the participation in the public school as a way to achieve the desired quality in education. The study revels, too, the impositive character of PDEs proposal that ignores external and internal school community in its formulation, being different and contradictory with the proposal established by brasilian educational laws, despite the speech of people who idealized it to affirm it as a participative and democratic proposal.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A dinâmica dos sistemas de produção praticados em uma unidade de conservação de uso direto na Amazônia - a Reserva Extrativista do Rio Cajari no estado do Amapá.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-08-07) SOUSA, Walter Paixão de; FERREIRA, Laura Angélica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3450720474559096This project approaches an specific type of extractivism: the extractivism of Brazil Nut made in the Extractive Reserve of Cajari river in the Amapá State (RESEX/CA). This project is a continuation of researches made in 2000, having as a main focus the understanding of the dynamic production systems used in RESEX/CA. In This project can be noticed that the changes occurred in the systems in a period from 2000 to 2005,more than economic, the remain of agricultural practicing related to the Brazil Nut extraction are ruled for other / different factors. The historical relation between the forest use with the extractivism and agricultural is very complex, thats the reason it can not be valued only by an economical prism. The information demonstrates that the extraction production units are those which have the smaller economical performance, although, there is not a movement of the families in erase this system. In the opposite/ In despite of, the extraction type had not just being keeper, but had improved/razed representatively from 2000 to 2005, showing attraction of this type to the families in RESEX/CA. However, the agro extractive systems had grown also, showing that some families want to achieve a higher quality level of life trough agriculture. About a direct use of conservation unit, to this extractive reserve must be directed support action for small farmers nut to the RESEX/CA, with the purpose that them may have a decent life, without expending in different activitys but extraction.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A escola como espaço de formação continuada de professores: o caso da Escola Cidade de Emaús, Belém/Pa(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2004) BARROS, Maricilda Nazaré Raposo de; GONÇALVES, Terezinha Valim Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0496932429575513In this research, I have perspective, contribute for the discussion of the continued formation of teachers centered in school, having as locus of research the School City of Emaús, in Belém/Pa. With the purpose to knowing the process of continued formation taken place in this school it analyzes primary documents of the Institution, that deal with its philosophy, of the social statute of the maintainer entity, of the politician-pedagogical project, among others and interviews with 06 diligent teachers of this experience who had started to participate of the school space in elapsing of the considered period, in which if it includes author and its proper memories. For the reconstitution of the process I used the narrative research, looking for evidence the implanted partner-pedagogical experience since the decade of 1980 that it is configured since than, as one other/new proposal educational up to 2003. Considering for the study of the process the following axles of analysis: the formative organization of space and pertaining to school time and actions in the school, considering there the collective work, the production of didactic materials, the politic social involvement and the activities done in the district. I discuss the advances and limitation of the continued formation of teachers centering in the school and I search to point out ways to the construction of the necessary teacher to proposal of a politician-pedagogical project to this educative space, it still looks, to join technique ability to the commitment politician. This formation must assure the permanent confirmation and evaluation of the philosophy assumed by the school, as well as all theoretician-scientific recital of the work developed there, materialize the actions from the proper experience of a collective work. This formation therefore, acquires an essential character of the pertaining to school community. I also think, that from an interior politicianpedagogical project, in fact, for the diverse segments of a pertaining to school institution there are greater conditions, so that if it constructs a central axle to the continued formation of teachers, who are just integrant part of people who must concur for the same purpose. I believe the school that possess a politician-pedagogical project, compels it to the necessity of forming responsible human resources for its development.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A experiência educativa de uma casa familiar rural e suas contribuições para o desenvolvimento local(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2005) ALMADA, Francisco de Assis Carvalho de; PONTE, Tereza Maria Ferreira Ximenes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7038744359388670The present work consists of a study about activities of the Rural Family House of Coquelândia - Imperatriz/MA. The empiric material produced based on the documental analysis and the interviews were analysed supported on the national and international bibliography which have a critical perspective about the teacher's work when the authors make a detailed exam about the teacher's profession. This study make reference to the comprehension about how the teachers faces the experience of formation in these two institutions, the effects that the models of the continuous teacher's formation have in their personal and professional development, emphasizing the senses and the interests announced by them. We have evidences that the teachers search for learning when they valorize the access to the formative courses, specially to the contents that can help them on their pedagogic practice. After this study, I could see that the continuous formation is a heterogeneous arena, not unified and have many purposes. We cannot give to the this formation a redemption ideia, imagining that with these courses the teachers will learn to make everything different and correctly, but as an intervention with a critical perspective about the pedagogic practices and that helps to re-construct permanently the personal and professional identity of the teachers in mutual interaction.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A formação de professores de química na UFPA: a história de um curso de graduação e sua evolução curricular(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2004-03-01) MACHADO, Jorge Ricardo Coutinho; CORDEIRO, Luiz Acácio Centeno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3737752474189702This work is a study about the chemical teacher's formation course in UFPA, telling your story starting of your curricular designs in your 30 year of life and put this story in bigger context of building of the modern science. We looked for understanding how is organized the curricular proposal of that course and how the formation is approached for the teaching in the referred PPP of this course. The investigation was constituted in a qualitative study with authors' of the history field theoretical subsidy, of the curriculum and of the educational formation. We adopted a documental analysis and we used official documents of NCE as NCG for the Degree courses in History and NCG for the courses of Formation of Teachers of the Basic and other Education levels with inclusion interns at UFPA to understand their influences on the PPP of the course investigated that carries the formative propositions for the professional of History in this ISE. In analysis to the PPP of the course of History verified that the formative perspective in the investigated course is anchored in the teacher-historian's formation, approaching the model of the teacher-researcher's formation extolled by NCG for Formation of Teachers. However, we didn't identify the ephistemolological and practical means for the execution of this purpose of educational formation in the configuration of the curricular structure, mainly for the development of researches on the education phenomenon. We also identified that the treatment of the pedagogic knowledge, indispensable in the educational formation to act in the Basic Education, appears in a secondary way in the curricular structure analyzed. Therefore, we inferred that the historical knowledge assumes the priority in the development of the investigated course stating that the importance of the formation concentrates on the historian, to the detriment of the teacher's formation.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A formação do professor de educação física no Pará: o que revela a história do currículo do curso de educação física da Universidade Estadual do Pará?(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-08-07) TREPTOW, Anahy Garcia; ROCHA, Genylton Odilon Rêgo da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3735617515418666This research has the aim of analyzing the history of the curriculum of the teachers graduation course on Physical Education at the Federal University in Pará, from 1970 to 2007. The study aims at analyzing the formation and development of local production, identifying the configuration and characteristics of the production structure and institutional support activities and the synergy between agents. It also analyzes how the forms of governance are constituted and the existing externalities and how these can dynamize the production arrangements development process. This study proposes to answer three questions: Why did not the clothing industry segment develop in BMR? How are the dynamics of the sector and the characteristics of technological innovation phenomena in the sector experienced by small and mid-sized apparel business owners in BMR? How do the two processes, modernization and precariousness coexist in the BMR apparel sector? The empirical research conducted represents 55% of formal employment in BMR. In this process, the non-existence of institutional actions prior to the researched period was observed and this limited the sector's scientific and technological evolution as well as the development of the production chain. This condition led atomized producers to low levels of synergy and representativeness. As a result, industry growth rates were very low and difficulties in finding qualified labor are pointed out as the major obstacle to industry development. Most of the existing companies are uniform producers, but over the past three years, an opening of companies dedicated to the manufacturing of fashion products has been observed. Despite the difficulty found by the industries in operation, a social movement was seen in the construction and expansion of technical knowledge and promotion of the productive arrangement driven by the desire to make fashion, and the action of the designers and institutions that promote this desire and transform fashion into "our thing". The development of fashion in Pará as a spontaneous movement and form of expressing local culture in a way represents the desire to insert local culture in the contemporary consumption context. Fashion is a mean to establish a relationship with the place that considers action in the construction of a local mythology. The issue of the places specificity is of most importance for the markets, therefore, it is necessary to take into account the importance and potential of a market filled with a large number of consumers avid for insertion and differentiation, emotionally tied to the place. Surveyed players point out that to stimulate the development of the textile-clothing production chain, more investment would be necessary in training labor that favors the development of activities already in operation, and that permit the expansion of investment feasibility in a sector of fundamental importance in the history of industrialization and the every day life of human beings in the contemporary capitalist world that has consumption as a fundamental myth. This study contributes towards a better understanding of the sector.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A pesca artesanal da frota de Mosqueiro (Belém - Pará) e o uso do ambiente pela dourada (Brachyplatystoma rousseauxii-Castelnau, 1855)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-06-01) OLIVEIRA, Diogo Marques; ROCHA, Rossineide Martins da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4371300451793081; FRÉDOU, Flávia Lucena; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4779271407117528Considering the artisanal landing sites in the Amazon estuary, Mosqueiro Island, located in the south of the Bay of Marajó, is commercially very important and, as in nearby loading terminal (Miramar), the imminence of an environmental disaster is real. However, there is no detailed information on the fishery and the use of commercially important species, as Gilded catfish (Brachyplatystoma rousseauxii) in the region. With the objective of describing the fishing activity and the use of the region by the Gilded catfish, landings were monitored in Cajueiros Bridge (Mosqueiro) from December 2005 to November 2006. Moreover, the fishery boats were recorded using specialized log-books and trained personnel from the community. The index of relative abundance CPUE (kg/trip) was used to identify the most important species and their catch period, seasonality of the fleet, fishing sites and gross revenue. Considering the Gilded catfish, 30 individuals were obtained from commercial fishery in Mosqueiro from December 2005 to August 2006 in a bimensal basis. Individuals were weighted, measured and gonads were collected with the objective of evaluating the use of the region for reproduction. It was registered 128 fishing boats and Barcos de pequeno porte dominated followed by Canoas motorizadas. Technological differences between boats categories were observed, except in relation to boat length, mean monthly production and storage capacity. Barcos de médio porte present a greater crew and fishing days but they carry out less trips by month in relation to the others categories. Gill nets are mostly used in the area, and the mesh most frequently employed are 50, 60 e 70 mm (streched mesh size). Barcos de médio porte have larger nets when compared to others categories. The main species captured in the region are Silver croaker (Plagioscion squamosissimus), Pacora (Plagioscion surinamensis), Gilded catfish (Brachyplatystoma rousseauxii) and Yellowfin river pellona (Pellona spp.). Fleet from Cajueiros bridge fish mainly in fishing sites near the island during the catch period of the main species (May to December) moving to Marudá region during the offpeak season (January to April) following, mainly, the schools of Gilded catfish. Periods of maximum abundance was the first and the forth trimester for Canoas motorizadas and Barcos de pequeno porte respectively. The fishing sites Ponta Fina and Areia do Cotijuba showed the largest annual relative abundance with the main catch of Gilded catfish and Pacora, respectively. Gilded catfish was regular during the whole period with highest abundance in Ponta Fina and December. Pacora highest abundance was recorded in Marudá (98 kg/trip) and September. Yellowfin river pellona occurred mainly in Enseada and in June. In Mosqueiros Island, fish annual production was estimated in approximately 1.000 tons, leading to a gross revenue of R$ 3 million. Barcos de pequeno porte contributed to 42% of the total production and with 61% of the gross revenue. Silver croaker contributed to 26% of total production and Gilded catfish with 35% of the gross revenue. This species was considered the most valuable fish resource in the area. Sampled individuals measured from 27 to 100 cm total length, and individuals of 50 to 60 cm dominated. Sexual proportion favored females (1:2,2 male:female) which were most numerous for most length classes and months, except February. For this species, the area is not used for breeding but for nursery and feeding purposes. In the situation of an environmental disaster a waste of approximately 1.000 tons and R$ 3 millions for the fishery industry in Mosqueiros Island can be reported. Moreover, an accident in the area could also affect the young population of Gilded catfish causing harmful effects in a long term for catch and economy of the area.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A política de municipalização do ensino fundamental no estado do Pará e suas relações com a reforma do Estado(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2005-06-07) GUTIERRES, Dalva Valente Guimarães; SANTOS, Terezinha Fátima Andrade Monteiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9502681594591950The study focus the politics of Municipalização of Primary Schools in the state of Pará and their relations with the State Reform starting from an analysis of the proposal of Municipalização of Primary Schools in the state, which is understood as part of the decentralization politics of educational management, which started during the 90s. The main objective of this study was to try to establish possible connections between the politics of Municipalização of schools and the proposal of management project rendered by the State Reform. The methodology used during this study was helped by the documental analysis, the collecting of the theoretical production of this subject, as well as the analysis of the statistical results of basic education offer between 1996 and 2004. The study shows that the politics of decentralization and management modernization defended by the State Reform have guided the politics of decentralization and that of focusing on the financing of education, such as the one created by the Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento do Ensino Fundamental e Valorização do Magistério FUNDEF, which has influenced the Municipalização of primary schools in Brazil because of its characteristics, specially in the state of Pará. The proposal of Municipalização of the state government has today the participation of 61,1% of the towns and has as its objective to universalize this process through all the one hundred and forty three towns until the year 2007. The concern which makes the state government come up with this politics is based more on the economical-financing scenario, typical of the management proposed by the State Reform, then the improvement of the democratic management of the public politics made possible by the proximity of the local authorities, demands which were required by the social manifestation of the 80s. The participation of the local governments itself, once this participation mainly happened in 97 and 98 (the years when the FUNDEF was implanted in Pará), shows the little time given to planning by these authorities who overloaded themselves with a lot of responsibilities without an accurate assessment of the educational management conditions for the new demands. If, at one side, there is, on the proposal, an extreme concern with the aspects that envolve the rationalization of the resource uses, one of the main aspects of the management, at another side there is a huge fragility not only regarding the social control of these resources shown by the denounces of FUNDEV resources deviation, but also by the non-existence of a Local Education Council in more than 90% of the towns, which makes it difficult the feasibility of a democratic management in these places. The efficiency of the educational management, one of the basic principles of the management and the proposal of Municipalização of the teaching in Pará is, furthermore, compromised by the SEDUC conclusion; that towns, with rare exceptions, act, in general, managing only the present.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A política de participação na educação de jovens e adultos no município de Belém (1997 - 2004)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-12-27) ARAÚJO, José Carlos Ferreira; HAGE, Salomão Antonio Mufarrej; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1723722364556016This work analyzes the Politics of participation in the Education of Youths and Adults (EJA) in the context of Brazilian capitalist development, focalizing the programs and the experiences implemented in the municipal district of Belém, State of Pará, during the period from 1997 to 2004. In the analysis we will privilege the relationships among the level macro (Calculation Partition and Congress of the City) and the level micron (PROALFA and MOVE) implemented by the City hall of Belém, that are known as patterns of instances characterized by the participation of the population in the discussion and elaboration of politics and development projects and the historical ransom of the experiences and programs executed in that teaching modality. It is still our intention to identify like SEMEC and other municipal organs were restructured, to create and to strengthen responsible sections for that teaching modality. In the investigative process we will use the research, of qualitative character. This way, to trace a panorama concerning the thematic the following procedures we used: bibliographical researches, documental researches. We will be using the conceptual categories of power-participation and of the controlled participation. To level macro, in spite of the progresses observed in the popular participation in Belém, one cannot affirm that the civil society has assumed the control about the municipal planning. It can be inferred that this happened in shared way between the municipal power and the civil society in which the organization and the dynamics of operation of the Calculation Partition and the Congress of the City allowed the decentralization of the decisions on the public politics that they started to happen inside of the Council of the City, maximum organ of decision in the Congress of the City. That was the way found by the Municipal Power of legitimating the participation of the civil society. PROALFA and MOVA were it part of the educational politics of the Government of the People and their political and cultural action is affirmed, getting important the partnership concept and dialogue among being able to public and civil society. The first paper of the Government of the People in relation to PROALFA and MOVA was to be placed as propeller of the creation and of the implement of the Movement, what was constituted as controlled participation, therefore it had origin in the government's concession. Those instances as the Calculation Partition and the Congress of the City and PROALFA and MOVA had their limitations, in the same way that is recognized that they are still very far away from a participation full massive – powerparticipation, because of its complex construction. But it is necessary to recognize that there was advance in the democratization process and decentralization in Belém, existing an enormous progress in the construction of public politics for that teaching modality.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A prática docente na Escola Bosque: o desafio educativo de uma proposta construtivista(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2004-11-23) SOUZA, Eliana Silva de; GONÇALVES, Terezinha Valim Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0496932429575513In this paper, I investigate the professional experiences of six Elementary School teachers, in which I include myself, from Centro de Referência em Educação Ambiental Escola Bosque Foundation, Belém/Pará, whose educational project embrace interdisciplinary constructivist environmental perspective that presuppose effective pupils participation in constructivist knowledge process interacting scholar contents and making the research possible. Aiming at drawing a profile of pedagogic actions lived in a context of social, historical and cultural implications which reveal structural subsides involved in the investigated educational project, I present docent narratives and report my own pedagogic practice. For such deeds, I utilize theoretical presupposition of narrative research that considers the reports of individual significant experiences from involved people, and I contextualize the docent practice establishing a dialog with pertinent literature and with the schools own documental material. From obtained data I could testify that some pedagogic practices glimmered at Escola Bosques physical space, even presenting imperfections, configure themselves as constructivist and interdisciplinary and institute themselves by research, becoming a special action to be considered for teaching quality amelioration.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) À procura de Mário Faustino tradutor(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-03-31) VERÍSSIMO, Thiago André dos Santos; LEAL, Izabela Guimarães Guerra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2507019514021007The 1940s and the 1950s are significant for the process of cultural diffusion in Brazilian newspapers, with notable performances of writers, poets and scholars on many journals of that time. Thus, the ambiance of the newspapers became modern and creative on behalf of culture and literature. At that time, there were two newspapers which contributed, through their literary supplements, to the cultural movement in Belém, state of Pará, Brazil, which were: “Arte Literatura”, from Folha do Norte and “Arte e Literatura”, from A Província do Pará. In this ambiance, Mário Faustino has initiated his literary life publishing chronicles and poems in newspapers, and, above all, he worked as a translator of poetry. At the age of only 16 years old, Faustino has begun translating a laundry list of writers of international literature, from the Spanish, the French and the English. This analysis work aims to map Mário Faustino’s training as a translator, from his early translated poems. For this purpose, we discuss the notion of translation as a process of training and critical development.
