Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Agricultura urbana e periurbana no Curuçambá em Ananindeua, Região Metropolitana de Belém: perspectivas e desafios(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-08-29) SEQUEIRA, Gisela Romariz; MANESCHY, Rosana Quaresma; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5914095913079907; SANTANA, Antônio Cordeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2532279040491194In Brazil, the urbanization process moves quickly with an immense diversity of realities. Without any planning, the cities did not have the capacity (or were not prepared) to accommodate the demand of its growing population for education, health, housing, sanitation and opportunity of occupation and income generation. Identified as a multifunctional tool with potential to feed the needs of part of this marginalized population, the contemporary periurban agriculture gained space in Brazil and internationally. In this context, the present dissertation has as its main objective to demonstrate that periurban agriculture practiced specifically in the Curuçambá area, in Ananindeua, part of Belém’s greater area, is an activity capable of contributing to the local development as it interferes positively on various aspects, such as the economic, social, ambient, health and, consecutively, including the families involved and, although the results are still not very significant, can become a strong alternative as long as the difficulties identified are solved. The present study is based on the rural and urban phenomenons of periurban agriculture, does a research to register the current situation and, through the application of a questionnaire, obtains information from the families involved, as well as through interviews with local institutions. The information was complemented with data from companies such as EMATER, IBGE and SEDES.The results show that there are no laws or public policies devoted to periurban agriculture research, and the understanding of the local government about the subject is limited. A lack of sanitation, water supply and water treatment were identified, not to mention the terrible infrastructure conditions, such as the lack of necessary transportation for the production of agricultural products. The periurban agriculture activities are present in the city’s dynamic and exist thanks to the initiative of some of its individuals, for whom agriculture is a primary source of income. The study highlights the importance this kind of agriculture has for the families involved and its potential, considering its multifunctionality, to contribute to sustainable local development, both in the social aspect and alimentation, continuously improving life quality of people living in the city.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ana Maria Machado em sala de aula: leitura literária e formação do leitor(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-08-30) VIANA, Maria Helena da Silva; SALES, Germana Maria Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8723885160615840This paper aims to present a methodological proposal to the reading of two works (Quem perde ganha e O Cavaleiro do Sonho: As aventuras e desventuras de Dom Quixote de La Mancha) by Brazilian writer Ana Maria Machado, intended for children and youth in order to encourage the literary literacy and the reader formation in a public school in the city of Ananindeua, in the state of Pará. It is considered, thus, the literary literacy as a right of all (Queirós, 2014) and the literary text being the core of the Portuguese discipline for being a manifestation of excellence of memory, of operation and creativity of Portuguese language (Silva, 1988). The literature teaching in public schools is target of criticism and has contributed timidly to form proficient readers, since the schooling process has occurred inappropriately and the teacher‟s challenge is to find the balance between the interests of personal enjoyment and the needs of literary schooling (Cosson, 2014). It is necessary, therefore, to rethink the problem so that the literacy text is not just nomenclatures object, grammatical banalities and superficial analysis (Smith, 2011), but an instrument that can raise reflections and relevant contribution to the lives of students. This paper is organized in three chapters: the first discusses the teaching of literature and the reader formation, the second deals with the literary universe of Ana Maria Machado and the third brings a proposal of pedagogic intervention. It is intended, this way, that the school promotes the insertion of children and youth literature and of the classical in their daily lives in order to contribute so that the reading of literary text be a meaningful and pleasurable activity for elementary school students and, thus, encourage the reader formation in public schools.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise etnoecológica da floresta de várzea da ilha de Sororoca, Ananindeua, Pará, Brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-03-16) ALMEIDA, Adrielson Furtado; JARDIM, Mário Augusto Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9596100367613471Was analyzed ethnoecology aspects of the tree species in 2 ha of floodplain forest on the island of Sororoca, municipality of Ananindeua, state of Pará. The floristic was assessed through floristic inventory in eight plots of 50 x 50 m, which were measured all trees with diameter at breast height (DBH) ≥10 cm to 1.30 m and calculated the relative density, relative frequency, relative dominance value indices of importance and coverage. Information on the use, management and season of use were obtained through interviews with local residents. The results showed 3.054 individuals in 20 families, 47 genera and 53 species. Fabaceae and Arecaceae stood out with the greatest number of species. Euterpe oleracea represented 69.01% of the individuals identified, with the largest number of individuals, relative dominance, importance value index and value index coverage. The main use of 49 species concentrated on the craft category. The months January to April amounted to the time of use and management of the species coincides with the rainy season the level of precipitation and relative humidity higher.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O aprender e o orientar na atenção primária: relato de experiência de um semestre de atividades no PET-Saúde(2012-03) ARAÚJO, Fernando Costa; FALCON, Elias Bruno Santana; RODRIGUES, Gizele Moreira; FREITAS, Leidian Coelho de; DUTRA, Claudia Daniele Tavares; PIRES, Carla Andréa AvelarThe Educational Program for Health Work (PET-Saúde) promotes the formation of tutorial learning groups in strategic areas for the Unified National Health System. For this purpose, the communities of Igarapé Grande and João Pilatos were located on João Pilatos Island and the Cajueiro community, located on Santa Rosa Island, an island region of the municipality of Ananindeua (Pa). These communities were selected because they are: considered the oldest, have the largest number of inhabitants and shelter multiple social organizations that work with fishing workers. As far as the organizations in these territories are concerned, the present research is focused on the following: the Association of Rural Igarapé Grande Residents and Small Producers - AMPPRIG, Association of Artisanal Fishermen, Aquaculture, Seafood and Rural Producers of the Ananindeua Islands - APAAPRIAN , Association of Residents and Small Rural Producers of João Pilatos - AMPPRJP and the Fishermen's Colony of the municipality to Z-93, since these institutions are related to the structuring and development of the fishing activity in the municipality. The literature that underlies the research runs through the concepts of community, social organization, associativism, social movements and fishing activity. Studies on the Amazon and the characteristics of artisanal fishing are also debated and studied in depth. A case study of a qualitative nature was carried out, using Narrative Research as a methodological tool. The data and information presented here were collected in the field through semi estructured interviews, observations, documentary analyzes, field notes, photographic and audiovisual records, subsidized by the cited bibliographic review. It is concluded that social organizations constitute a strategic force capable of providing better local living conditions for people, whether in rural areas or in urban centers, enabling greater social participation and closer ties between society and public power, under all their dimensions, and these types of organizations can be inserted as an alternative of local development and social sustainability. However, the organizations object of this study point to the need for structuring and organizational so that they can benefit not only the associated fishermen, but also contribute to the strengthening of the category through support with the Colony. The results presented make possible repercussions both in the theoretical field and in the practical field, since the surveys related to social organizations and fishing activity in the municipality of Ananindeua are scarce, and these studies may eventually contribute to the objectives and actions of these social representations.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Atuação de Defensoria Pública do Pará e a mulher encarcerada(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-10-22) SANTOS, Daiane Lima dos; PONT VIDAL, Josep; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4415362518177732This research analyses how the Public Defender of Pará is performing in regard to the social rights of women who are incarcerated in headquarters of criminal enforcement as from the law nº 054 de 2006. In order to this aim, the research feats the sentenced women profiles and verifies how the Public Defender performance through the judicial and extra judicial procedures are contributing to the social vulnerability decrease and to the enlargement of the incarcerated women’s social, economic and cultural capital. This study uses the concepts of habitus; field; economic capital; cultural capital; the symbolic power of Bourdieu; the poverty criminalization idea of Loic Wacquant and, Joan Scott, to the gender concept. Methodologically, the research is classified as a case study in the State of Pará with data collection during October and November (2012), and which has the following Recovery Centers as locus of research: CRF (Ananindeua); CRAMA (Maraba) and CRASHM (Santarém); allowing comparisons between them. The research uses both quantitative approach with a questionnaire to all the volunteers women (202 of the universe of 275 incarcerated and sentenced women) and analysis reports. This study also has realized a descriptive analysis of the obtained data, EXCEL and SPSS.17, during the preparing of graphs, tables and inferential analysis (chi-square test of independence). As the qualitative approach, this one has used the semi-structured interview applied to the public defenders and to the local group in CRF, counting on the posterior triangulation of data; concluding that the incarcerated women represent a vulnerable group with low economic, cultural and social capital, facing difficulty to the health access. The access to justice is not fully effected either, in regard to their social rights, which were only partially accorded through individual lawsuits and administrative actions, without the use of judicial collective or constitutional actions, being both the participation on public policies and the network acting too small.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação epidemiológica, clínica e molecular de enteropatógenos causadores de diarreia aguda em crianças e adultos residentes na comunidade Quilombola do Abacatal, Ananindeua, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015) KAIANO, Jane Haruko Lima; MASCARENHAS, Joana D'Arc Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5156164089432435Acute diarrheal disease is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in developing countries and one of the factors that contributes to the worsening of the nutritional status of children. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical, epidemiological and molecular profile of infections by viral and parasitic agents in children aged 0-10 years and those over 10 years of quilombo of Abacatal in the 2008-2010 period. Fecal samples from 294 children were collected in the age group 0-10 years and 81 individuals over 10 years, residents of the community Abacatal, Ananindeua, Pará, which had acute diarrhea board or without diarrhea (controls). The viral diagnosis was made by immunochromatographic and molecular tests and parasitological by Faust and Hoffman method. A total of 375 fecal samples were obtained from 177 individuals. The frequency of viral agents in this study were rotavirus group A rotavirus C and picobirnavirus group by 6.4% (24/375), 0.3% (1/375) and 1.3% (5/375 ), respectively. The polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis confirmed the presence of rotavirus in 23 of 10 samples (43.48%) having short profile of 13 (56.5%) long profile. The presence of intestinal parasites was observed in 272 (77.94%) samples, and the most common were Ascaris lumbricoides detected in 13.18% (46/349) of the samples, followed by Trichuris trichiura with 10.88% (38 / 349), hookworms with 4.01% (14/349) and Strongyloides stercoralis 1.72% (6/349). Of the 24 samples positive for rotavirus group A the following genotypes were detected: G2P [4] (12.50%, 3/24); G1P [8] (25.00%, 6/24), G3P [9] (29.20%, 7/24) and G12P [6] (33.33%, 8/24). Two new genotypes were detected for VP6 genes (I18) and NSP1 (A19) of rotavirus A. Nutritional assessment of 38 children was conducted, showing that 18 4% (7/38) presented malnourished. This study highlights the need to implement preventive actions in the community, including education measures for health, vaccination against rotavirus, and even the implementation of programs to control parasitic infestations.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Basic sanitation, socioeconomic conditions, and degree of risk for the presence and maintenance of malaria in a low-transmission area in the Brazilian Amazon(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-10) MONTEIRO, Thais Hetierre Abreu; CHAVES, Tânia do Socorro Souza; MATOS, Haroldo José de; SOFFFIATTI, Nelson Fernando de Lisboa; GUIMARÃES, Luis Henrique Rocha; VENTURA, Ana Maria Revorêdo da Silva; MACHADO, Ricardo Luiz Dantas; GUIMARÃES, Ricardo José de Paula Souza eINTRODUCTION:This study aimed to evaluate basic sanitation and socioeconomic indicators, reported cases of malaria, and risk of contracting malaria in the Ananindeua municipality, State of Pará. METHODS: Data on basic sanitation and socioeconomic dimensions were taken from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics [ Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE)] 2010 census. Epidemiological malaria information was taken from the Epidemiological Malaria Surveillance Information System [ Sistema de Informação de Vigilância Epidemiológica de Malária (SIVEP/Malaria)], between 2003 and 2013 of the Ministry of Health and from the SIVEP/Malaria forms of the municipality's Endemic Diseases Unit for 2,013 cases. RESULTS: Our data do not confirm the correlation among indicators of basic sanitation, socioeconomic conditions, and water supply with malaria cases. Of the 1,557 cases evaluated, most were caused by Plasmodium vivax , with rare cases of Plasmodium falciparum and mixed infections. There were 756 notifications in 2003. The number of reported cases was sharply reduced between 2006 and 2012, but a 142-case outbreak occurred in 2013. Ananindeua municipality's Annual Parasite Index indicated low risk in 2003 and no risk in other years, and the 2,013 cases were predominantly male individuals aged ≥40 years.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Bolsa família em Ananindeua: estudo de caso de devolução do benefício(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-08-29) SOUSA, Ivana Augusta Brito de; PONTES, Reinaldo Nobre; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8577276734482884This study aims to understand the phenomenon of voluntary return to the conditional cash transfer "BolsaFamilia". This study is based on the critical-dialectical theory, uses the categories of social policy, social work, empowerment / autonomy, citizenship, income transfers and poverty. The method adopted is dialectical, from which the case study with in-depth interviews will be adopted. The data were processed through content analysis that consists of "an investigation technique that aims at objective, systematic and quantitative description of the manifest content of communication" from systematic and objective procedures to describe the content of the messages, indicators (quantitative or otherwise) that allow the inference of knowledge concerning the conditions of production / reception (inferred variables) of these messages and the quantitative aspects of the method. The BolsaFamília program has brought benefits to the target audience, the volume of information leaves no doubt, however the cases studied indicate that the return of the benefit of this program did not occur spontaneously, but stimulated without that beneficiaries were effectively emancipated. Thus there was voluntary but lock cancellation, guidance and induced output. Some families were detected by the program system and were automatically blocked because they are nonstandard income to continue receiving the benefit; others were detected at the time of re-registration. As for this shutdown, the positioning of the people interviewed was divided between those who understood that still needed a lot of money to continue the improvement of their lives; and those that have not even request the shutdown of the spontaneous coordination of the program form, agreed with institutional procedures, because they understand that other needy people need the opportunity generated by this policy.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) "Chacina do Paar": as dimensões do poder no universo policial(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007) ROCHA, Marilene Sousa Pantoja da; ANTONAZ, Diana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7547028254641362In this dissertation a concrete event occurred in 1995 at a Police Office is analyzed. Aimed to examine how the participation of organized civil society is being developed within the Municipal Council of Education in an attempt to build an educational policy based on principles of participatory democracy and analyze the performance of CME Body while the education system should seek to promote the construction of municipal education. Document Analysis and Semi- structured interviews were the instruments used to meet the goals specified. The processing of data was possible through content analysis (research literature) and analysis of primary sources (Atas; Laws Decrees; Opinions; Rules of Procedure). The results achieved with the investigation lead us to infer that social participation as an educational principle in the CME in Ananindeua is being built gradually, since the democratization of education management through direct involvement, both on the floor of the school as in the other elements that make up the educational system is a process that needs to be built on daily basis. In the case of society's participation in CME represented through the various categories has been a challenge, because the conflicts, tensions, correlation of forces, you can dispute are always present. This is positive in some circumstances since it is also possible the construction of educational policy in the midst of diversity of opinion. The categories of civil society organizations represented on the CME and have varying degrees of participation, some participate more actively while others have a lesser role at meetings of Board and sessions where they discussed and the proposals made with respect to construction of educational policy in Ananindeua. The lack of theoretical training and educational policy in some cases serve as a factor that limits social participation in the actions of the CME.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Colagem de junta de madeira com adesivo epóxi(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-02-08) CARNEIRO, Ruth Pereira; FUJIYAMA, Roberto Tetsuo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3165747089941318This work has as objective of making, to test and to compare the glued joints of butt, scarf and finger with three species of wood of different densities. The collage of the wood makes possible the use of pieces and surpluses of wood that are usually discarded, could minimize the cut of a lot of trees, be of the nature or of planned planting. The methodology of production of the joint, it was established with base in indications described in Brazilian norms. Macroscopic observation of the wood it was accomplished, for confirmation of your species. After established the dimension of the joints they were made bodies of proof, using the adhesive Compound Adhesive of epoxy base and wood Angelim-pedra, Jatobá and Tauari, acquired in wood deposit in the city of Ananindeua-Pa. With relationship the characterization of the adhesive, it was verified through the traction tests that has good mechanical resistance. After collages of the joints it was accomplished traction tests to determining the resistance of the glued joints. The glued joints performance it was evaluated in function of the relationship among the values of resistance to traction of the solid wood and the values of resistance to traction with glued wood and rupture way. In agreement with the results it was observed that the glued joints scarf they presented excellent resistance to traction, very close of the resistance of the solid wood; it was also noticed the good acceptance of collage of the wood Jatobá. With relationship the quality of the adhesion, the glued joints of butt and finger, therefore they presented adhesive rupture. The experimental results obtained indicate a good agreement among the theoretical models to evaluate the resistance to the traction and the qualification of the glued joints.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A contribuição da cultura para o desenvolvimento do território: um olhar de Ananindeua, na região metropolitana de Belém, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-09-03) BASTOS, Eliana Benassuly Bogéa; TEISSERENC, Pierre; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9957120409952563Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O controle social no Sistema Municipal de Ensino de Ananindeua - PA: desafios e possibilidades(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-05-11) LIMA, Francisco Willams Campos; SANTOS, Terezinha Fátima Andrade Monteiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9502681594591950This study of social control in the municipal system Ananindeua: Challenges and opportunities aimed at analyzing the organization and operation of the managers of educational policies in order to understand how it is being exercised social control by the Municipal Council of Education, Council of Food School and city council Fundeb from the institutionalization of that education. To answer the questions guiding this research we used the following instruments: document analysis and semi-structured interviews. The results show that civil society is mostly occupying the space management of social policies, through collegiate bodies in relation to government representation, even though previously focused on the dimensions are still under construction, with higher incidence in the size of propositional Council of Education. However, the collective bodies in general, they show technical-operational difficulties for the exercise of inspection function, which has results in an incorporation of the results of evaluations of educational policies in government decisions. These issues highlighted the need for more investment in the continuing education of social actors, for the inner workings of a broader perspective of social control.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A cultura ribeirinha entre o saber local e o saber global numa visão etnomatemática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-05-20) SOUSA, Magali Rocha de; LUCENA, Isabel Cristina Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3255121871351967This paper is the outcome of the research that had as aim the analysis of a group of dwellers living by the river in the island of João Pilatos (Ananindeua – PA) showing how they relate the knowledge taught during the clinic on how to form rural entrepreneurs with the know-how they already bring from the traditions of their ancestors, and, especially the math knowledge. The empirical part of this research took place in two different spots and in different moments: the first one was held in the island of João Pilatos where the data about the history of the communities living there were collected, as well as the daily chores and also the fishing activities, the plantation, the exploitation of the forest and the preparing of the charcoal, and the trade of these goods. In this moment, the only resources used were a notebook and a pen to scribble and the hearing technique as well as the dialogue. The second moment happened during the clinic on the formation of rural entrepreneurs promoted by SENAR (National Service of Rural Learning). In this place, my participation in the group was limited to listening and watching the gestures and facial expressions of the participants who were there. Due to this, the observation followed by the notes, were the techniques used during this stage. After the clinic, some semi-structured interviews were held with the subjects of this research with the aim of complementing the notes made during the clinic. The Sociology and the Ethnomathematics were the theoretical basis used in the organization and analysis of the field information. In the field of sociology, I searched Antony Giddens, Renato Ortiz and Georges Balandier to analyze the phenomenom of economic and social globalization over these dwellers’ culture and Berger & Luckmann with his theory “The social construction of the reality” to analyze the livelihood and the production of knowledge. In the field of Ethnomathematics, I used the Ethnomathematics under D’Ambrosio’s approach as well as the research of the area. At the end of the analysis, concerning to the mathematics, I realized that having control over calculations and formulas of this area of knowledge was not the condition enough to enable the subjects reach the target of the clinic, once either the entrepreneurs or the dwellers faced the Mathematics in different aspects when it came to explaining and seeing the world. Through this cultural conflict, it is possible to point out that the subjects of this research would reach the target of the clinic and establish a great amount of relations among academic Mathematics and the knowledge of their traditions if the mathematics studied, during the clinic, were re-meant in the context of the dwellers. As consequence of the first analysis, it is also possible to conclude that, according to the conception currently present in the school environment that not only distinguishes but also separates the cultural values which considers the production of knowledge coming from academic/scientific environment and that these types of knowledge should be socialized in a disciplined way, the possibilities of a greater number of relations between knowledge of the cultural tradition and the scientific tradition have more possibilities to occur in non-academic environment.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Da casa de contato à dramaturgia do contato: experimentações e reflexões na casa Ribalta(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-03-01) FERREIRA, Mayrla Andrade; CAMARGO, Giselle Guilhon Antunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2551648142775344The research points to a path of artistic experimentation, unveiled in the very first my space contact with the dance: the "house of contact," object investigation of this research that establishes connections multiple and heterogeneous of performer-creator with life stories, which are raw material smain articulate for the recognition of principles and recurrences of a drama specific particular and local, the "dramaturgy of contact." to buy the basics of such a proposition, I use theoretical and methodological rhizome of Deleuze and Guattari (1995), in their percepts and affects (1992), brokered by the triad image-time-motion of Deleuze (1992), as a strategy of theoretical and practical cut across writing. The social participation is the central theme of this study because the project is receiving resources of Acceleration of Increase Program (A.I.P.) and because currently the social participation in town planning projects is an exigency of Cities Ministry. To reach its objectives, this study prioritized the qualitative research, as well as bibliographic, documental and field research. As a result, it was identified that the municipal management of Ananindeua is far of be a democratic management, for does not guarantee a real participation for the project‟s beneficiaries, but just a symbolic participation where users has the smaller influence in project decisions and operations, despite this, they have the illusion of having a power with them.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) “É um pessoal lá de Bragança...”: um estudo antropológico acerca de identidades de migrantes em uma festa para São Benedito em Ananindeua/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-05-16) VIEIRA, Sônia Cristina de Albuquerque; MAUÉS, Raymundo Heraldo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0915136632611666; MOTTA-MAUÉS, Maria Angélica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7861116876230464This is a study that focuses on a feast in honor of Saint Benedict in Ananindeua- PA, a ritual conducted by the immigrants of the city of Bragança in the rural part of the same state, where the traditional Saint Benedict feast takes place since 200 years ago: During the and during the last 23 years, these immigrants have been extending this feast to Ananindeua city which belongs to the metropolitan region of the state’s capital, Belém.
