Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Artitas visuais e vídeos mapping: narrativas audiovisuais produzindo sentidos na Amazônia paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-11-16) BREMGARTNER, Jean Lucas Teixeira; COSTA, Vânia Maria Torres; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7517564393392394In this research, we seek to understand the use and concept of video mapping beyond its technical dimension, as it can be considered a new form of expression and contemporary interaction. At the same time, we focus on the analysis of the productions and experiences of four local visual artists, whose main characteristics are that they come from the Amazon region of Pará and express themselves through media art technology. For this, interviews were conducted with each of them so that we could observe how they understand their experiences, how they see themselves as Amazonians and how their productions facilitate (or not) a connection between art and communication, through the interaction generated between the artist and art through the created projections. In this process, we entered the audiovisual universe seeking understanding about how the connection between art, artist and technology occurs, how the use of narratives occurs in this context, and which narratives are constructed. As a methodological procedure, we used interviews with visual artists in order to get to know their creations and productions of meanings. We emphasize that the audiovisual we deal with here, video mapping, is an audiovisual expanded beyond the screens of the cinematographic circuit, which is an art and communication tool that generates connection with/among people, strengthening the cultural environment, in constant movement for the middle of the images.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Audiovisual, resistência e educomunicação na Amazônia paraense: a experiência do Telas em Movimento(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-06-13) SILVA JUNIOR, Valdecir Ramos da; AMORIM, Célia Regina Trindade Chagas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9650931755253248In this dissertation, Festival Telas em Movimento of Belém do Pará is understood as a collective that contributes through actions, experiences and artistic-cultural activities, and promoves of cinema and audiovisual in communities on the periphery, riverside, quilombolas and indigenous peoples, from the Amazon. Telas em Movimento's activities seek to train young people to produce audiovisual content that helps in the personal and social development of their communities. Its main practice is the dialogue between audiovisual and resistance, through the dissemination of techniques and knowledge in filmmaking and thinking. In this work, the understanding of the educommunication process developed in the experiences of the Collective is evidenced, therefore, the objective is to understand the communicational dynamics, in the educommunicative practices of the Telas Em Movimento collective. One of the main work methodologies used is participatory Action Research in Brazil, contextualized by Cicília Peruzzo (2017) and designed by Orlando Fals Borda (1989), aiming at the construction, development and collaborative investigation of research issues. The basic concepts in this study are the Freirean educational perspectives, such as pedagogy of the oppressed (FREIRE, 1987) and pedagogy of autonomy (FREIRE, 2021), the applicability of the concepts of Educommunication by Ismar Soares (2011) and decoloniality as an enunciating concept, which through methodology and conceptualization make up the theoretical and methodological basis of this work, presented here by Walter Mignolo (2017), Catherine Walsh (2009, 2017), among others. The results demonstrate that Telas em moviment, educational needs and practices as a tool for social emancipation and that through its experiences it provides social and professional possibilities, as well as seeks to build new narrative practices in communicational products.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desbravar novos mundos: experimentando a potencialidade da websérie animada na divulgação de conceitos da Neurociência(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-05-20) SILVA, Aislan de Paula Ferreira da; MALCHER, Maria Ataide; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5418062253829906; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4687-1840This dissertation presents the results of the research "Breaking new worlds: experiencing the potential of animated webseries in the dissemination of concepts of Neuroscience". The research was an experiment in audiovisual language, in animated 3D webseries format. At the end of its production it will be composed of three episodes in three-dimensional animation format and made available on an open and free platform. His conception and production was mainly based on the hypermedia concepts of Gosciola (2003), animation of Chong (2011) and Nesteriuk (2011), audiovisual language of Coutinho (2006), process of learning and creation of products aimed at education of Filatro (2008, 2015), and Pallottini's narrative construction (1989, 1998, 2005). From the conceptual orientation, the proposal was to explore to the maximum the multimedia resources as potential mechanisms for understanding concepts of Neuroscience - such as reasoning, memory and learning. Thus, in addition to bibliographical research, we used: documentary, videographic and visual research; brainstorming techniques; interviews; panel of experts and curators. This dissertation presents the reader with the process of constructing a hypermedia narrative, as well as the multimedia scripts, the concepts and model sheets of the characters, the storyboards and the animatic of the episode "Traveling is necessary - how do I know that I am going in the right direction? ", available on the Thinglink platform.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Financiamento Coletivo Audiovisual Universitário : Uma reflexão a partir da realização do longa-metragem A Besta Pop(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-09-29) FERNANDES, Suelen Cristina Nino; STOCO, Sávio Luís; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3206903170798612This paper analyzes the use of crowdfunding by undergraduate students in cinema, audiovisual and related fields as a creative alternative for making projects viable, proposing a reflection based at the personal experience of making the feature film A Besta Pop (2018). At first, I present the process of building the movie from its origin to its various exhibitions, drawing a parallel between the market's production model and the adaptations made in the university environment of the film, using Aída Marques (2007), Chris Rodrigues (2007) and Jose Quesada (1996) as a theoretical framework. Then, I draw an overview of the characteristics of crowdfunding, as a financial way of the practices of collective constructions that take place in the virtual environment, known as crowdsourcing, drawing on the theoretical scope of Vanessa Valiati (2012; 2013) and Scott Steinberg and Russell DeMaria (2012), among others. To do so, I analyze the mechanisms present in the Catarse platform, presenting the data survey of projects that identified themselves as university, hosted on the platform between the years 2016 to 2018, in order to understand the profile of projects and proponents. In this sense, I try to understand the movement of crowdfunding in the context of the creative economy, proposing a reading of creativity in the performance of the audiovisual producer, based on John Howkins (2007), Richard Florida (2012), Mariana Madeira (2014), among others, as references to reflect on the challenges posed by social, economic and political issues in the audiovisual activityTese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Produções audiovisuais das/nas baixadas de Belém-Pa: fronteiras simbólicas, experiências urbanas e (Re)configurações de paisagens nos bairros Jurunas e Terra Firme(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2025-03-20) COSTA, Victória Ester Tavares da; SILVEIRA, Flávio Leonel Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1972975269922101This research originates from concerns regarding the production and circulation of images of the Amazon in various narratives over the centuries. Driven to observe the region beyond the imaginaries that have been strengthened by repetition, I challenge the perceptions that relate to exotifications and immerse myself in the urban Amazon. Believing in pluralities and the constant processes of landscape reconstruction, I focus on the context of the lowlands of Belém, specifically the Jurunas and Terra Firme neighborhoods, in order to study urban formation in contexts of symbolic borders, understanding them as an in-between space of complex dynamics that include familiarities, tensions, conflicts, belongings, and, therefore, a significant potential for cultural and artistic production in the urban world of Belém. Thus, through a dialogue between the fields of anthropology and audiovisual studies, this research aims to demonstrate how artistic and communicative practices are constructed and constructed by the landscapes lived in the city, and, consequently, by the people and professionals who experience them in their daily lives. The ethnographic field of this research is audiovisual production (in all its phases of conception), with its foundation in the practices of the streets and what is said about them over time. What resonates and what has been forgotten in these spaces that bring the specificities of these artistic manifestations of the lowlands. Bringing urban anthropology and landscapes, cinema, and the imaginary together to chart these paths led me to explore places and follow the processes of shaping a Belém of other centralities, both in its ordinary dynamics and in its artistic expressions, which exceed the realms of sound and image, becoming a strategic tool for political-social expression.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) VED - Vídeo-Ensaio Discente: incentivo às experimentações audiovisuais no ensino superior(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-06-27) BRITO, Anderson da Silva; SEIXAS, Netília Silva dos Anjos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2301685130625189The present master's research focused on analyzing the interaction between technological advancements in the audiovisual field and higher education. Given the constant evolution of instructional devices, university students face persistent challenges in dealing with emerging technologies in the academic environment. The use of video as a didactic resource can be pivotal in the practical context of the teaching and learning process. With the goal of enhancing students' audiovisual skills in higher education, the research gave rise to the Student Video Essay (VED). The VED is an educational product developed between 2021 and 2023, within the scope of the Graduate Program in Creativity and Innovation in Higher Education Methodologies (PPGCIMES), a subunit of the Center for Innovation and Technologies Applied to Teaching and Extension (NITAE²) at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). This program focuses on research related to Creativity and Innovation in Educational Processes and Products (CIPPE). The VED is designed as an audiovisual educational resource, aimed at facilitating video production and encouraging the creation of creative and innovative approaches in higher education. It was developed with the purpose of enabling students to understand the global relevance of moving media in various academic and professional situations. Additionally, the VED aims to contribute to students' autonomy in video production, allowing them to participate more actively in the educational process and reflect on their own academic contributions. The research adopted an approach that encompassed both qualitative and quantitative aspects, using the following methodological procedures: the conception phase (including literature review and exploratory research), the elaboration stage (including pre-production, production, and post production), the validation period (through application to a group of undergraduate students at UFPA), the analysis phase (involving data collection and analysis), and the finalization stage (encompassing maintenance and formatting of the final product). The VED presents itself as a variant of a video essay, blending elements of a written essay with visual resources, offering an option to enhance content comprehension and technical skills such as video editing and teamwork. The underlying objective of the research was to promote the adoption of audiovisual technology as a strategy to assist students' academic journey, fostering knowledge generation, and improving the quality of learning.
