Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise bibliométrica na produção científica em saúde: um estudo no Instituto de Ciências da Saúde (ICS) da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-02-27) ALBUQUERQUE, Anézia Eugênia dos Santos Oliveira de; SANTOS JUNIOR, Roberto Lopes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3355963647616547The general objective of the research was to analyze the scientific production of the Institute of Health Sciences (ICS) of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) in Belém, from the survey of 172 dissertations defended in the Postgraduate Programs of Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brazil from 2010 to 2016. The specific objectives were: characterize the UFPA Graduate Health Programs, map the dissertation documents defended in the Graduate Programs, extract the metadata for standardization and measurement application and present the co occurrence networks of keywords and health research topics, as well as the guidelines. The theoretical framework of the research was delineated in the literature and concepts of scientific production and productivism, as well as bibliometric conceptions, as well as the importance of bibliometric indicators such as the use of keyword co-occurrence networks, and the laws from Bradford, Zipf and Lotka. Regarding its nature, this research is characterized as applied, whose approach was qualitative and quantitative, with emphasis on document analysis and measurement of scientific production in health. Documentary analysis used a bibliometric form with variables such as year of publication, author, title, advisor and keywords. The metadata was then organized into a sheet in the Excel spreadsheet editor, where the data was tabulated and processed in VOSviewer software, version 1.6.11. The analysis of dissertations on Health Science, especially Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, made it possible to highlight in academic research the interdisciplinary thematic areas, verified by the following keywords: “Etidronic acid”, “Dental adhesives”, “Dentine”, “Orthodontics ”, “Medicinal plants”, “Oxidative stress”, “Antimicrobial activity”. The research identified that bibliometrics contributes to the process of evaluating scientific production in health studies, as it can organize, map, systematize and measure information in this field of study.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma análise de cluster via CiteSpace a propósito da espectrometria WDXRF para geocientistas (2001-2021)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-08-17) CASTANHO, Rebeca Soares; PAZ, Simone Patrícia Aranha da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5376678084716817The present bibliometric analysis addresses the use of Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (WDXRF) spectrometry in geochemical analysis to evaluate scientific trends over a twenty-year period, from 2001 to 2021, using the academic and free bibliometric tool, CiteSpace. For this purpose, 941 international scientific articles involving WDXRF were collected from the Web of Science (WoS) platform using the search terms "wdxrf" or "wavelength dispersive x-ray fluorescence". The data analysis was divided into two parts: the first part aimed to understand and interpret the quantitative aspects of the scientific production related to the technique, while the second part involved a co-occurrence analysis of keywords from the retrieved works. Despite fluctuations, there has been a constant increase in the number of articles related to this spectrometry technique, with 2020 being the year with the highest productivity in the historical series (105 publications). The United States of America leads the country rankings (110 articles); however, the relatively homogeneous distribution of these studies reveals that WDXRF is a widely disseminated technique worldwide. Brazil ranks among the top ten most influential countries in this field, occupying the eighth position with 59 publications. The journal X-Ray Spectrometry, with 82 articles, stands out as the primary venue for the dissemination of research on this analytical technique. In total, 569 keywords were found, connected by 2002 co-occurrence links. The term "trace element" denotes a solidified but always relevant interest in the use of WDXRF for this level of chemical analysis. On the other hand, "nanoparticle" is the keyword with the highest citation explosion over the past two decades, particularly between 2015 and 2021, highlighting a more recent trend in the elemental characterization of nanostructured compounds. The CiteSpace program identified 13 thematic groups, with five being the most notable in the application of this instrumentation: nanomaterial characterization (cluster #0), trace-level heavy metal analysis (cluster #1), chemical speciation (cluster #2), analysis of particulate matter on filters (cluster #5), and provenance of historical ceramics (cluster #6). In summary, it can be concluded that the chemistry of geological materials does not constitute a narrowly defined body of studies concerning WDXRF. Instead, it represents a scientific frontier that expands through interdisciplinary approaches, providing new and integrated methodological approaches to geoscientific research for those who delve into this technique.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Inserção e visibilidade da produção científica da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA) na literatura internacional : uma análise na base Scopus (2014-2018)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-01-20) GOMES, Layane Rayssa Gaia; BERRÍO-ZAPATA, Cristian; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0976534900847907; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7314-6487This research is a case study that aimed to analyze the insertion and visibility of scientific production at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) in mainstream science, as a contribution to understanding the mechanisms implicit in the generation and construction of knowledge in a peripheral region international and national scientific system. The research carried out a bibliometric and diachronic scientometric analysis to measure the insertion of UFPA's production in mainstream science, based on the bibliographic database Scopus, as a representative of international literature. The dominant communication vehicles and their impact indicators were identified; the languages of publication; the research areas most covered; citation rates by research area and scientific collaboration networks, at meso (institutional) and macro (national) levels. The period analyzed was the five-year period 2014–2018. A high degree of productivity was observed for researchers in the Biological Sciences, Exact and Natural Sciences and Health Sciences, who also had the highest rates of scientific impact. However, the Social and Human Sciences had the highest growth rates, which denotes the dynamics of insertion and evolution of UFPA in mainstream science, which is characterized by publication in international scientific journals, with emphasis on the American and English dissemination channels. The collaboration took place to a greater extent with Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) located in the South and Southeast regions of Brazil, which have the highest national productivity rates; and with central countries of the international scientific system, with emphasis also on the United States and the United Kingdom.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Serviços ecossistêmicos por sistemas agroflorestais na Amazônia: uma análise bibliométrica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-06-28) CONCEIÇÃO, Thayná Karina da Silva; VASCONCELOS, Steel Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0719395243841543; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2364-8822Over the last few decades, ecological concepts and evolutionary biological theory have influenced proposals in the environmental movement. In this context, AFS agroforestry systems gain notoriety as an agroecological alternative, due to their socioeconomic benefits and the generation of ecosystem services. Following this reasoning, the objective of this study was to measure in qualitative values the contribution of SAFs to the nature of these services with a focus on sustainability, and on other benefits, also aligned with the broader socioeconomic context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), of the 2030 agenda of the United Nations Organizations (UN). The studies aimed to qualitatively analyze aspects in which the SAFs were inserted. From the bibliographical survey with the use of research terms in the Web of Science database, then the curation of these data was carried out, presenting bibliometric metrics, such as maps, graphs and tables. With a total of 409 publications, and taking into account region and topic criteria, we reached a reduced number of articles of 134. These results show that interest in research in the agroforestry field has improved, but in a gradual and heterogeneous way. The most frequent ecosystem services were Support and Provision. This study can increase opportunities for future research, and suggest a qualitative analysis of the benefits of AFS that can contribute to generating ecosystem services in the Brazilian Amazon.
