The objective was to analyze the changes in the structure of positions, career and remuneration of teaching professionals that occurred from 1999 to 2012, and its implications on the value of career. The research process sought to relate ideological, political and economic and analyze them in order to critically explain the crucial juncture of this structure, from a context that showed the conditions (practical, theoretical and ideological) used (and serving) of Support Brazilian educational policy in its entirety. We assume that we could not analyze the career and remuneration of teaching professionals in a disjointed manner of a larger context, to refer so much to the capitalist mode of production crisis, as well as strategies for overcoming the crisis, thought locally and globally. Noteworthy are the regulatory frameworks of career and remuneration in order to clarify indicators career and remuneration of teaching professionals contained in documents of international organizations, expressed in national legislation and Breves-PA municipality. It was found that changes in career and remuneration of teaching professionals, occurred in brief municipality from 1999 to 2012, representing improvements in relation to the frame structure of positions, the extent of progression and remuneration structure. However, it is concluded that despite the improvements highlighted in the career and remuneration of such professionals, there is evidence of budgetary and political constraints that compromise the implementation of career and remuneration provided for in law N.° 2.236/11 and N.° 2.269/12.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cartografias da educação na Amazônia rural ribeirinha: estudo do currículo, imagens, saberes e identidade em uma escola do município de Breves/Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-08-13) CRISTO, Ana Cláudia Peixoto de; HAGE, Salomão Antonio Mufarrej; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1723722364556016This paper is a result of a research carried out in Breves, a town located in the south of the Marajo Island, in the state of Para, Brazil. It investigates the curricular planning of the riverbank agricultural school of the villages which the main economic activity is timber, called "Ivo Mainardi" of the municipal educational system of Breves, establishing a relationship with what praises of quality defined by the Operational Guidelines for the Basic Education in Schools located in the countryside, with focus on identities and knowledge of the riverbank agricultural Marajà Amazon. In the investigation method documentary analysis was used, the half structured interview and the photograph with the perspective to make possible to the reader a better understanding on the riverbank agricultural Amazon. The history of Breves has begun in the Colonial Period, with the arrival of the Portuguese to the place, its population is made of riverbank people, many of these inhabit in small communities, towns and villages which the main economic activity is timber. In these communities the education is promoted considering the demand of the company workersâ children who are attracted by the timber company job-offer and the school. Although they live in a context where the material production is related to the exploitation of timber, the school curriculum does not deal with this issue, they are from what is praised by the Operational Guidelines for the Basic Education in Schools located in the countryside, which establishes as quality principle the ecology and the sustainability. Besides this point the curricular planning, although it counts on the participation of the riverbank agricultural educators in its elaboration still does not express the knowledge, the culture, and the identity of the Marajo riverbank population of the Mainardi Village. Thus, the challenge placed to the managers, the social citizens and the educators is to see the commitment with an education that constructs and cultivates identities, values, collective memory and heads towards the valuation and respect of the peoples that live in the Marajà agricultural and riverbank Amazon of Breves.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Dinâmica e desenvolvimento da agricultura familiar: o caso da Vila Amélia, Breves/Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2003-06-18) HERRERA, José Antônio; CARDOSO, Antônio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8799376545270820It is analysed, departing from a social-environmental diagnosis of Vila Amélia, in Mapuá river Breves/PA municipal district, the nets of relations established among agro-extractivistic workers and boss (merchants and undertakers/ land owners) and the consequences of this social interaction model for the actual configuration of the social-polictic-environmental scenery in this community. Departing from the pressuposed that the comprehension of these relationships is a sine-qua-nom condition in order to think about other less predatory, less authoritarian and more social responsible growth models. Here are emphasized some questions related to the conservation and sustainability of the productive ways and the unequal relations of work and land control, focalizing the mainly familiar logic of the activities as an element of capital importance in the working of the agro-extractivistic systems. Departing from the areas occupation dynamic and the characteristics of the familiar nucleus, the research points indicatives for the understanding of the ambiguous dependence relation manifested by the agro-extractivistic workers and their resistance to the discussion of the sustainable growth proposal presented by Ecomapuá enterprise. It still discusses the possibilities of the overcoming of this relation by the social-polictic organization, essential factor for the construction of every growth proposal that intends to involve, in fact, the local inhabitants as the subjects of their own historical process, with objectives, wishes, asprirations and dreams that need to be considered.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Formação inicial de professores: uma análise da experiência do Campus da UFPA de Breves/Marajó(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-06-24) SILVA, Solange Pereira da; SILVA, Gilmar Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7624395840820523This Dissertation titled, '"Initial teacher education: an analysis of the experience of Campus UFPa Breves / Marajó" aims to investigate the policy of teacher education, with the research question: The initial teacher training course Pedagogy of the Federal University of Pará, from the Internalization specific Campus Briefs / Marajó establishes a connection to the reality of the subjects in training, with a view to their performance critically in the teaching profession? We start from the perspective that the analysis of teacher education requires considering the environment and current social structure. Therefore, it was based on the theoretical and methodological foundations of dialectical historical materialism to relate the singular with the social totality, seeking to understand the research object in question, in their contradictory historical determinations. The research is characterized as a case study as having locus of research at the Federal University of Pará, Campus Briefs / Marajó. To conduct the study was used documents that constitute the legal basis for the decisions that drive the formation of primary education teacher at the college level. Also, for the apprehension of all, we used documents prepared by the Working Group on Teacher Education of ANPED, and research produced under this GT as well as institutional documents UFPA, as Document MEETING Program Reporting Unit searched between the years 2009-2012 and Curriculum Design Education Course. In order to analyze whether the training received establishes a connection to the reality of the subjects in training, with a view to their performance critically in the teaching profession, held interviews with students who graduated from the Pedagogy years 1995-2006. De not conclusively be deemed to Initial Teacher Training from the Internalization of UFPa was offered under precarious conditions, caused by lack of resources for materialization of shares. The research, anchored on a qualitative basis, had the locus on Mainardi village, a pioneer community in accepting MTOS in the region. As the primary data collection semi-structured interviews were used and data was treated in the light of the thematic content analysis. The results that came from the field research were faced with the contribution raised in discussions around the central theoretical axis of research, namely: Modular Teaching Organization System, High School, Youth (and, in particular, rural youth) and Rural Education. The epistemological reference for the research was sought in the assumptions of historical and dialectical materialism, especially the categories of contradiction, totality and historicity of believing that such references allow an analysis which exceeds the mere descriptive statement of the facts and into the web of relationships that make the object of study manifest in a certain way, within the historic conditionalities in which it creates its essence. Thus, the developments of the investigative effort carried out with this design pointed central limitations of MTOS, among them: the failure of the school calendar; the difficulty of ensuring the permanence of the student in high school; the feeling of exclusion triggered by factors relating to, for example, the infrastructural weaknesses and the organization of the system; the inadequacy of the system with regards to the reality of the rural youth; the inadequacy of the educational and administrative monitoring. These limitations reveal that MTOS plays the dualism that historically is within high school, when transplanting piecemeal to the country a city model of teaching, without seeking to address the specificities of the local and the public to whom it is intended, featuring a lack of its own pedagogical identity. On the other hand, while showing the mismatch of a MTOS-ian experience regarding training needs and expectations of rural youth on the high school, the contradictions of reality studied brought about elements that pointed to the necessity of the important MTOS contribution as the only viable alternative access to secondary education for a large portion of this audience, revealing an inclusive dimension of the system even in the midst of the fragility with which it is implemented, which is evidenced, for example, with the ever increasing admission in higher education, of the youth from the modular system of education, opening to them new perspectives of education and social inclusion, that without MTOS would hardly be able to come about.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A participação das escolas de ensino fundamental de Breves-PA no enfrentamento da exploração sexual de crianças e adolescentes(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-05-24) GUEDES, Leonildo Nazareno do Amaral; ROCHA, Genylton Odilon Rêgo da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3735617515418666This research chose as the object of analysis the participation of public schools in elementary school located in the town of Breves-PA network to fight the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents. In this sense, it was proposed as a problem the following question: in the period 2005 to 2010, as did the participation of public schools in elementary school located in the town of Breves-PA network to fight the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents? The study aimed to analyze the actions taken by public schools in the city of Breves-PA that are aimed at coping with the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents from the proposals submitted for coping the school by public policy, discussing key categories such as curriculum and teacher training. The methodology consisted of literature and empirical research, using semi-structured interviews because it is the instrument that allows access to school administrators, coordinators and teachers teaching to the knowledge of their actions and interactions in relation to the theme of child sexual exploitation. From a universe of eighteen elementary schools located in the city, were chosen two, a school of 1st to 5th grade and other school of 6th to 9th grade, for presenting in the period 2006 to 2010 shares teaching strategies involving students in different age groups (from 06 to 14 years approximately), as well as the whole school community in the prevention of sexual exploitation. The selection of interviewees was through contact with the subject of schools, which focused on those respondents with direct participation in intervention projects. Therefore, we selected 02 (two) managers of schools, two (02) educational coordinators and 06 teachers. The analysis of material obtained in the interviews were conducted with the theoretical tools and methodological enabled by content analysis, with the backdrop of the proposed analytical framework for the historical and dialectical materialism. The theoretical framework used analysis follows the research conducted by Azambuja (2004), Brino and Williams (2003 and 2009), Brino (2006), Faleiros (2004), Fraga et al (2008), Franzoni (2006), Leal (2004), Liborio (2005, 2006 and 2009), Rocha (2010), Sanderson (2005), Santos (2007), Silva (2007), Viodres Inoue and Ristum (2008) and other researchers dealing with curriculum, training teachers and child sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in safety nets, especially the performance of the school. The survey results demonstrate the participation of elementary schools in combating sexual violence (abuse), without interfering significantly in situations of sexual exploitation. The cases of abuse, when identified or reported by children, are reported to the Guardian Council. For suspicion of sexual exploitation is not made the notification to this Council, but only in some situations conversation with the family, which generally denies the existence of these and it omits the processes of resolution. The curricula of the schools include the issues of sexual abuse and exploitation in a disciplinary manner, through travel plans and classrooms, as well as an interdisciplinary way, through collaborative teaching and learning. These projects are conducted over a period of years, but the schools surveyed seek to print a character of permanent realization. Finally, teacher training for child sexual exploitation has reached all / the teachers / them, much less to the school, effectively covering a very small portion of these, focusing more directors and coordinators.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Um passado persistente: o sistema de aviamento na extração madeireira da Ilha do Mututi, Município de Breves/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-03-23) CARNEIRO, André Luiz Torquato; SCHMITZ, Heribert; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2294519993210835; SÁ, Samuel Maria de Amorim e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3256903697536068Through empirical research using as key concept of organization and system Aviamento, added to other ones that have permeated the analysis in this study (domination, power, reciprocity, games), this dissertation examines the substitution of a previous context for extraction of rubber by that of processing lumber in the area of a former plantation located on the island of Mututi, municipality of Breves/PA. Thus, we sought to identify the difficulties in implementing this process, and understand the strategies that rural communities use to overcome the politicaleducational schools. The research was guided by a case study, which was used for semi-structured interviews with teachers, managers, former managers, community leaders and union; desk review of educational laws, plans, reports and projects. The study shows that adherence to decentralization was full of conflict between the municipal government and educators to have been aterialized without any form of dialogue with educators and civil society for clarification on the political conditions that take place. Moreover, it appears that decentralization was the mechanism used by the central government to carry out the decentralization of educational policies, however, it appears that the strategy to overcome the problems local education has not been successful, in contrast, the municipality has assumed all responsibility in overcoming their low educational indicators. Thus, it is possible to infer that the manager's time was more concerned with the resources that the municipality would receive through the FUNDEF FUNDEB today that the responsibility for educational quality. This occurs when analyzing the educational indicators of the city, especially the rural schools in that after the decentralization is not displayed any strategy of local governments in order to universalize the educational services, or policies that can offer quality education to the people of field. The school buildings the majority works in inadequate which has harmed the working conditions of teacher and student learning. Allied to this problem is the issue of access and retention of students since the school bus does not meet all communities. Due to these challenges, rural communities, even individually, has sought dialogue with the municipal government forms to ensure the educational services on site. This has led the creation of dozens of schools in the countryside even though working in precarious situations in families, churches, community sheds, ballrooms or even building their own resources. However, this is a political strategy that communities and educational viewing to ensure the State's presence in their social territories, quietly have sought legitimacy by guaranteeing the right to education in the field. Finally, research is in a moment of reflection and analysis about the conditions that education is being offered to the subjects of the field of Breves. It was a moment to recognize and discuss the educational experiences to promote theoretical and practical elements in discussions of education in the field and in the Amazon Marajoara.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O professor como mediador no processo de produção escrita de alunos do 6º ano: estratégias para produção de textos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-12-19) ALVES, Gleicy Garcia; ABDON, Iaci de Nazaré Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2212976917586395This is a work aimed at the teacher in his role of mediator of the process of writing and rewriting texts, with the aim of identifying, Through a research-participant, the teacher's mediation in the process of writing and rewriting texts. For the analysis of the corpus, thus constituted, we considered the three types of corrections pointed out by Serafini (SERAFINI, 2004 apud GASPAROTTO/ MENEGASSI, 2013) and a fourth added by Ruiz (1998); Besides them, are references of this work, among others, the studies of Antunes (2008), Bakhtin/Volochinov (2004), Lopes Rossi (2008), Gasparotto e Menegassi (2013), PCNs (1998). The analysis of the results reveals the need for the teacher to reflect on his intervention practice, under the perspective of dialogic mediation, in order to perceive the importance of his role as mediator in the teaching/learning process and the relevance of the rewriting for the development of textual-discursive competence. From these results, it is proposed a Teaching and Writing Project, under the bias of the interactionist perspective of language, directed to the teacher with the aim of contributing to its practice, highlighting mediation and rewriting in the textual production process.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Representações sociais de jovens-alunos de uma escola ribeirinha sobre exploração sexual juvenil nas balsas do Marajó e as implicações nas suas escolarizações(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-10-11) VIEIRA, Andréea Silva; NASCIMENTO, Ivany Pinto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6649004854958284This study was a school context the riverside town of Breves, situated on the island of Marajó, in Pará master Objective: To analyze the social representations of young students of primary School Hall Elementary School San Francisco, San Community Francisco, the city of Breves on sexual exploitation on the ferries of Marajó and the implications for their school lives. However, the curriculum developed at the Santa Maria school establishes a closer relationship with the cultural knowledge of the community bordering Santa Maria, as the issues that are closer to the cultural context of the students, were not found in textbooks used in school nor in the syllabus offered by the Education Department. In fact, these contents have been proposed by the teacher from the reality of the studentsItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) SIG aplicado na pré-seleção de áreas para a implantação de aterro sanitário no município de Breves (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-03-23) ACIOLY, Andreza Vieira; ALVES, Rui Guilherme Cavaleiro de Macedo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1902384822911246The inadequate location of the final solid residual disposal is a big problem that can compromise the environmental resources.
