Artigo de Periódico Desconhecido Karyotypic and morphological divergence between two cryptic species of Eigenmannia in the Amazon basin with a new occurrence of XX/XY sex chromosomes (Gymnotiformes: Sternopygidae)(2015-06) SILVA, Danillo dos Santos; PEIXOTO, Luiz Antônio Wanderley; PIECZARKA, Julio Cesar; WOSIACKI, Wolmar Benjamin; READY, Jonathan Stuart; NAGAMACHI, Cleusa YoshikoEigenmannia species are widely distributed in the Neotropics, with eight valid species currently recognized. Populations of Eigenmannia from three locations in the eastern Amazon were investigated using cytogenetic and morphological techniques, revealing two taxa designated here as Eigenmannia sp. "A" and Eigenmannia sp. "B". The species differ in three morphometric characters, two meristic characters, and one osteological character. Eigenmannia sp. "A" presents 2n = 34 (22 m/sm+12 st/a) and Eigenmannia sp. "B" presents 2n = 38 (14 m/sm+24st/a) and simple differentiated sex chromosomes of the type XX/XY. In both species the Constitutive Heterochromatin (CH) rich in A-T bases is distributed in the centromeric region of all chromosomes. Eigenmannia sp. "B" also presents CH blocks in the interstitial region of chromosome pairs 8, 9 and X which are positively stained with CMA3, indicating G-C rich regions. The NOR is located on the short arm of chromosome pair 17 of Eigenmannia sp. "A" and on the short arm of pair 14 of Eigenmannia sp. "B". FISH with rDNA probes hybridized to different-sized regions between homologs, suggesting heteromorphism. The differentiation of the X chromosome in Eigenmannia sp. "B" could be the result of amplification of repetitive DNA sequences.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Metamorfoses de formadores de professores na educação em ciências modificando práticas na prática de formação docente a distância(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-11-13) PINHEIRO, Jackson Costa; GONÇALVES, Terezinha Valim Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0496932429575513This qualitative research on narrative approach is regarding to experiments of changes in the practices of teacher‟s trainers (amongst others the researcher is included) lived and narrated in a degree in Biological Sciences, developed in the distance at a public federal University. This course presents a decentralized operating structure with classes offered in the municipalities-poles of Marabá, Oriximiná and Capanema, in the period of the research, and coordination headquarters in Belém. The goal that I pursue in this research is to investigate in which terms differentiated experiences of distance learning practices influence in order to improve the face-to-face training practices in education in science. The thesis that I propose is designed on the understanding that differentiated experiences of training teachers of Science/Biology, lived in resistant contexts to traditional models of action/training, tend to catalyze processes of auto-organized changes in the practices of the trainers, reflecting on different levels and types of education concerning the current parameters of education in science. The construction of the empirical material in the municipalities-poles occurred in two stages: a) Meetings in Study Groups and Training (SGT) constituted with teams of trainers in three municipalities-course poles, whose interactions were recorded on audio and video equipment with 10 hours average duration of footage per group. During the meetings in the SGT I set as criteria for the selection of subjects, whose voices were the thesis report, the vocational training in the area of biology and the high level and frequency of reflective demonstrations during the interactions in SGT, from which I selected 09 trainers, b) Semi-structured interview with 09 subjects, recorded on audio equipment with an average duration of 50 minutes per subject. At the headquarters of the course the empirical production was restricted in conducting of semi-structured interviews with two subjects selected according to the high frequency of spontaneous demonstrations about changes in their training practices; being recorded on audio equipment each interview lasted on average 50 minutes. The empirical material was organized into three fields of narrative attraction identified in convergence axes relating to self-knowledge, self-organization and emerging educational practices parameters in science education, which led to the three sections of analytical research. The analysis of this narrative content reveals the emergence of movements of changes in the practices of the trainers, who were mobilized by experiences of collaborative work in search of possible responses to issues set in indeterminate spaces of the training practice. In General, these experiences are valued by subjects in the degree focusing as elements of personal and professional development, either because they are evidence of the limits of their perceptions and practices of teaching/training, or the need to overcome the positivist origins of their professional training, located in the perspective of teaching as a technical activity. Overcoming the technical conception of forming science teachers toward changes in the practices of the subject involves, among other things, the strong proximities between the school and the University in terms of most trainers of mentoring teams also act as teachers of Science/Biology in basic education, which makes investment a priority in shaping the science teacher. These aspects interact on mutual inclusion in search of a new professionalism and in-process construction of an epistemology of reflective practice as fundamentals of auto-organized changes in the practice of trainers of science teachers.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Métodos geofísicos aplicados ao mapeamento geológico numa área da Região Bragantina-Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 1979-12-13) FERREIRA, João Batista; SAUCK, William August; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6655455534234531The following research is about the aplication of geophysical methods in a pilot area in the Bragantina region, NE of Pará, as an auxiliary to geologic mapping. The area is covered with thick tertiary sediments and presents occurrences of industrial rocks such as limestone and granite, representing an outcrop surface smaller than 5% of area. Studies carried out by Goulart (1978) revealed that it is impossible to determine parent rock of the superficial material, of the A horizon. This makes difficult the surface geologic mapping and can lead to exaggerated extrapolation of the contacts, such as that which took place in the preliminary mapping. The geophysical methods applied in the area are: Electroresistivity and Magnetometry. Some mechanical sounding was carried out also. The results obtained contributed to a better understanding of the structural features mapped, and also made it possible to discover other important features. Two areas were defined for future detail study, with the objective to distinguish between the limestones of better and poorer quality. In reference to the granite region a new mapping of that area is suggested.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mineração de calcário no município de Capanema, Estado do Pará: uma análise a partir da percepção dos moradores do entorno da Jazida B-17(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-12-02) KALIFE, Kalília dos Reis; SILVA, José Bittencourt da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4719580090813166Globalization spurred the transformation of locations from their strengths and identities, boosting the socioeconomic, political-institutional and environmental changes in relation to the spaces and natural resources provided to man. Thus, this thesis aims to expose and analyze the results on the perception of the residents of San Leandro communities, Wood Seat and Arm Grande regarding the changes from the extraction of limestone in the Pool B-17 Cement Factory of Brazil S/A (CIBRASA) in Capanema County (PA). However, the research is in a case study and the method of interpretation of analysis used was the Inductive Method, in which we held the questionnaires and open interviews, using the perspective of qualitative analysis and quantitative secondarily. Therefore, from the research spot was found that the relationship between neighborhood CIBRASA and characterized from a contradictory reality in which one side has the factory with the extraction of limestone and cement production, and on the other, the neighboring communities of B-17 with his family farming, living with the pollution effect of the extraction of limestone, which can impact the ecosystem of the region, its productions and inhabitants. The performance of CIBRASA generated changes in the living conditions of the population and the economic development of the city through the generation of employment and income for the population, because the neighborhood does not include the Pool B-17 does not realize any investment money economic and social from the generation of employment, income, improvement of basic sanitation, education, transportation, health and safety arising after the start of mining in the Pool B-17, thus emphasizing the lack of dialogue and inter-relationship between CIBRASA the Government and the neighborhood.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A pesca feminina na comunidade Segredinho: município de Capanema-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-03-25) ROCHA, Nádia Sueli Araújo da; MORAES, Sérgio Cardoso de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4568311568729454The present research named “The fishing community of women in secret: Capanema County-PA” focus on feminine work in fishing that leads us to reflect about gender relations present in this context. In this perspective, the feminine participation is discussed as fundamental in the production of lifestyles and in the socioeconomic constitution of the community. The main objective is to analyze feminine participation in fishing in the community of Segredinho/Capanema-Pará. We still try to identify the formed relations in fishing concerning to socioeconomic, cultural and environmental aspects of the community and motivate discussions to carry out actions in group that incite local organization in order to social recognition and management of natural resources. The main question of this research question: if fishing is a historical men activity, what is the motivation of women from Segredinho Community to practice fishing? What are the relations established during the activity? How to consolidate feminine presence in fishing? This is a qualitative research in narrative modality that also has used as subsidy quantitative elements. To collect data, we made non- structuralied interviews, community, beyond meeting with the inhabitants. We considered in analyses, as prominence points, women from community of Segredinho practice and participate directly in the process that involves this activity, since the confection of tools until the capture of fish. The reflections presents in this paper indicate the necessity of recognition of social role of women in the local context as family supporters and and in the construction of their gender identity. For in such a way, It was fundamental to foment through quarrels the implementation of the Fishermen Colony in Capanema-Pará in order to management of natural resources in a sustainable form and as instrument of making feasible the social rights of fishermen and fisherwomen of the community.
