Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Autores de agressão sexual de crianças e adolescentes: experiências adversas na infância e fatores associados(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-01-26) FERRAZ, Maíra de Maria Pires; VELOSO, Milene Maria Xavier; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6105598873866312; CALVACANTE, Lília Iêda Chaves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4743726124254735; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3154-0651Studies that identify the different profiles of sex offenders against children and adolescents have been more explored in the literature, however, the investigation of their life trajectory remains less observed in the Brazilian population, mainly from the perspective of Bioecological Theory of Human Development. This study aimed to demonstrate possible relationships between Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and personal and situational factors in the bioecology of the development of male sex offenders against children and adolescentes (n = 30), who were serving time in prison units located in the mesoregions of the state of Pará. To this aim, a system of categories was built based on the ACE-IQ Test instrument, which defines ACE as potentially traumatic experiences that become a source of chronic stress, with negative outcomes for development at later ages. The results were analyzed from two different stages: the first, quantitative, where the descriptors of the occurrence, frequency and typology of ACE were identified, and a second, quanti-qualitative, in which excerpts from the interviews with sex offenders were inserted into the Software IRAMUTEQ to perform simple and multivariate textual analysis. In this sample, 96.67% of sex offenders reported having experienced at least one subcategory of ACE, while more than half (60%) revealed four or more, with an average of 4.36. Physical abuse was the most reported ACE (70%), being mainly related to the figure of the mother, while the death and/or divorce of parents (56.67%) and substance abuse in the domestic context (53%, 33) were related to the father. About 40% of the participants reported experiences involving sexual abuse, whose reports specified characteristics such as age and bond with the possible perpetrator, while social violence appeared mainly in contexts of ecological transition from childhood to adolescence. It was observed that experiences of death and/or divorce of the parents, emotional neglect and domestic violence in the trajectory of sex offenders in this sample can increase the risk of experiencing sexual abuse in childhood. Participants with higher ACE scores abuse children more frequently and with less need of alcohol or other drugs use. The results reveal the existence of a relationship between the frequency and tipology of ACE and factors related to the commitment of sexual aggression, demonstrating that this is a variable to be considered in the investigation with sex offenders, since the effects of stress resulting from such experiences can manifest both in the short and long term, influencing the future adoption of sexually abusive behaviors. It is suggested that further studies may directly apply the ACE-IQ Test to larger samples, with the realization of a post-test to provide greater reliability to the collected reports.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Crianças e adolescentes em acolhimento institucional: perfil e situação sociojurídica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-08-18) PANTOJA, Vanessa Dias; MAGALHÃES, Celina Maria Colino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1695449937472051The present research aimed to analyze the procedural information related to the foster care of children and adolescents who were under protective measure in an institution in the period of 2019 and 2020, in the city of Belém/PA. The study included the filling of 30 medical records. For data collection, two forms were used, one for characterization of children and the other for characterization of adolescents. The data were analyzed quantitatively by means of descriptive statistics. The results showed a predominance of female children and adolescents in the age group of 8 to 11 years old and that most of them were in elementary school. The main reasons for foster care were family neglect, abandonment, sexual violence and physical violence. About 86.7% of the children and adolescents had siblings in the same institution. Most of the fostered children were in their first foster care. The time they had been in the current institution was more than 18 months for most of the participants. Regarding the socio-legal situation of those who were fostered during the research period, the priority was the return to the family of origin, in its different arrangements. The results found point to the need for updated studies about the profile of children and adolescents in foster care and their families, before, during and after foster care, in order to contribute to the reflection about the practice of foster care institutions and to the improvement of public policies aimed at this population.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Gosto muito de estar aqui: na cultura e na educação pela vivência e experiência no cordão do mapará, Abaetetuba-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-11-16) CARDOSO, Michelly Conceição; TOUTONGE, Eliana Campos Pojo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1223748500489517; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7466-3996; LOBATO, Vivian da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8153247121237657This research deals with Cordão do Mapará in the neighborhood of Angélica, Abaetetuba-PA, which is configured as a popular theater that problematizes culture and education as dimensions of the same social practice, radiating educational processes. Thus, the study seeks to understand how the educational processes that permeate this June festivities develop, through the participation and involvement of children and adolescents. We start with the following question: what educational processes are present in all Cordão do Mapará production, especially through the experiences of children and adolescents? The central objective is to investigate the educational processes that originate/occur in Cordão do Mapará through the participation of children and adolescents. To achieve this, the research involved a vast bibliographic and documentary review on the cordon present in the municipality of Abaetetuba as well as the use of iconography and oral sources. At the same time, field research was carried out using observations and interviews with actors involved with this June celebration, focusing on the relationship of children and adolescents with this practice. The results indicate that these subjects who frequent Cordão do Mapará build educational processes based on the local/Amazonian characters and elements that are present in this manifestation, and such learning, experiences and experiences in their lives constitute concrete possibilities for cultivating and valuing knowledge, Furthermore, these children and adolescents, when participating in the cultural event, are fully developing their potential, as they act and occupy spaces in the city's urban scene.
