Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Modelo de gestão de resíduos sólidos por meio da economia circular: uma proposta para os supermercados da Região metropolitana de Belém-Pará.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-07-17) DANTAS, Werllem Valente Rodrigues; CARMO, Annibal José Roris Rodriguez Scavarda do Carmo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6070280268935110; SCHIMITH, Cristiano Descovi; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7017921569470426; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2545-942XThe world's demographic growth and the change in people's standard of living have led to an increase in demand for production and consumer goods, mainly single-use products and goods with planned obsolescence. Thus, it has become necessary to search for solutions capable of changing the current economic model, represented by the “linear economy”, so that a sustainable production method can be achieved. Among the alternatives to this format, there is the circular economy, object of this research, which had as a research problem to investigate how the solid waste management of supermarkets in the metropolitan region of Belém occurs, bringing in its scope the objective of proposing, to supermarkets, a solid waste management model through the Circular Economy. This research, based on a literature review, built a theoretical framework on the Circular Economy, which served as the basis for the elaboration of the data collection instrument and, later, the collected data and the framework were used to build the model of solid waste management. The research revealed that supermarkets carry out sustainable actions, but that they are isolated practices. As a solution, this research presents the solid waste management model for supermarkets to implement the Circular Economy.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Produção de chapa plástica a partir do endocarpo de murumuru (astrocaryum murumuru mart.) e poliolefinas recicladas.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-09-23) LIMA, William Arthur dos Santos de; DIAS, Carmen Gilda Barroso Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2113791118142177In the Amazon, a huge amount of non-wood lignocellulosic waste is obtained from the production of oils and butters from pressing of seeds and almonds. The economic and productive viability of plastic sheet has the proposal to close the production cycle of murumuru assets (Astrocaryum murumuru Mart), the two largest companies producing murumuru butter in the metropolitan region of Belem generated 410ton of tegument in the biennium (2019/2020), from the extraction of butter for the cosmetic industry. It also seeks to contribute more options for recycling high-density polyethylene (PEAD) and polypropylene (PP) packaging, used in the storage of oils. The objective of this work was achieved through the production process of plastic plates with properties compatible with the plates currently marketed, positive implications for the environment.
