The various problems caused by the cutting and burning process demonstrate how important the soil is for the family farmer, so the use of management practices that enable nutrient cycling through the maintenance of organic matter and soil micro-life are essential. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the process of formation, transformation and expansion of agroforestry yards in family farmers production systems of Cooperative D'Irituia, Pará. To meet this proposal, it was decided to use a methodology based on the theoretical bases of the systemic approach. For this, 23 families of family farmers from the D'Irituia cooperative who have agroforestry yards and five key informants from the main institutions linked to rural dynamics were selected. of the municipality. The methodological tools adopted consisted of historical interviews, secondary data, semi-structured questionnaires, typology and chronicles of the establishments. The results showed the external factors that influenced the formation of agroforestry yards were the credit public policies such as FNO and Proambiente; the Secretary of Agriculture of Irituia and the cooperative D'Irituia itself. The agroforestry yards found in Irituia have a great diversity of species, including fruit and annuals. It is noteworthy that in 74% of the areas where agroforestry yards are currently installed were capoeira areas and 13% in fields. Through the typology it was possible to form two large groups, besides one of the main factors responsible for the transformation and expansion of agroforestry yards is the need to increase production. With the chronicles of the establishments we can observe that the events identified over time was not always the motivating factor of the changes identified within the agricultural establishments, however, it affected the two groups represented here, but differently. Therefore, it can be concluded that the agroforestry systems found today in the municipality of Irituia are of great importance in guaranteeing food sovereignty as well as in the socioeconomic development of these families, besides having an important role in environmental preservation.

(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-08-30) CORTEZ, Flávia Celeira; AMARAL FILHO, Otacílio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2605877670235703
The recycled garbage pickers as a labor category constitute a social phenomenon in the global south and expresses economic, social and environmental contradictions in the dynamics of global capitalism. In Latin America, this category is organized through the Latin American and Caribbean Network of Recyclers - RedLacre, on a national scale by the National Movement of Gabage Pickers - MNCR, and in Pará through the networks: Rede Recicla Pará, Rede CataPará and Rede CentPará, composed of several cooperatives and associations in the Metropolitan Region and interiors. Throughout the research, it is clear that the struggle for recognition is the statement that unites both the discourse of the social movement and the history of life and subjectivity of these people, the major theme on which work and life are based. Based on this perception, the aim of this research was to understand how the relationship between the dimensions of the Fighting to be Recognition proposed by Axel Honneth (2009) dialogues and makes explicit the relations of Coloniality of Power (Quijano, 2005) from the narratives of life stories of garbage pickers. The research presents in chapter 1 the contextualization of garbage pickers today within cooperatives and associations based on research carried out at the Federal University of Pará, and discusses research potentialities within this context. Chapter 2 deals with the coloniality of power from Quijano and Mignolo (2005) to understand other perspectives for interpreting the subjective and material complexities in Latin America. Chapter 3 presents the concept of Fighting to be Recognition in Honneth (2009) from the dimensions of love, law and social esteem, as concepts for analyzing the life stories of recyclable pickers from a perspective of how these statements they approach the fighting to be recognition and permeate the construction of subjectivities in coloniality.

In recent times, one of the greatest challenges facing municipal management is finding viable solutions for solid waste management and, from this perspective, cooperatives of recyclable material collectors are included, as proposed by the National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS) - Law no. 12,305, of August 2, 2010. The municipality of Belém (PA) currently has ten associations and/or cooperatives of recyclable material collectors. This context includes the Filhos do Sol Cooperative and the Belém Selective Collectors Work Cooperative (ACCSB), which are the subject of this study. The participation of recycling cooperatives is fundamental to the implementation of PNRS, although they are often neglected by municipal management. It is intended, within the limits of this study, to answer the following question. What are the structural and/or organizational obstacles that prevent or hinder the expansion of recyclable materials cooperatives? In order to answer this question, the main objective of the research is to identify the obstacles that limit the expansion of cooperatives and how to overcome them. The methodology adopted will be exploratory in nature, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. As results of qualitative and quantitative research, it was found that the process of implementing public policies for recyclable collectors constitutes a highly complex, transversal and comprehensive task, with a long path that needs to be systematic, continuous and aligned with strategic planning of municipal public management. It should be noted that the Cataforte and Pró-Catador projects were decisive for the socioeconomic inclusion of recyclable material collectors. It is noted that it was possible to identify projects and actions aimed at waste picker organizations, although the remuneration for the daily services provided to society and the municipality are still far from guaranteeing their sustainability. It is noteworthy that cooperatives that do not have formal registration, that is, are not regularized with the competent bodies, present difficulties when selling recyclables. The quantitative data identified that the percentage of female collectors is (55%), which reflects the national average, which corresponds to (56%). It is noteworthy that cooperatives do not yet have the economic and financial sustainability to be competitive in the recycling market. Finally, the need for an action plan aimed at providing improvements in the work of cooperatives was identified.
