    This study aims to evaluate the economic viability of two agroforestry (SAF) in the municipality of Tomé First proceeded to the literature of the legal requirements for the use of specially protected areas, then sought to frame the agroforestry systems over an optical environmental and socio- economic, as an instrument of use and recovery of these areas by evaluating the economic returns from two models of SAF observed in Tomé-Açú. For the progress and completion of this study utilize is a documentary research, bibliographical and field research through interviews with local actors production chain in the city of Tome - Açú. The methodology des survey data used for this study was the semi-structured interviews with local stakeholders. The tabulation of this date, as well as the results of analyzes was performed with concepts economic-mathematical engineering economic evaluation of investment projects through cash flow, NPV, IRR and Rb/c of arrangements. The conclusion discusses the concept of viability-studied arrangements for the current economic scenario of cultures composing the models studied as an alternative source of investment.

    Imigração espanhola na Amazônia: as colônias agrícolas e o desenvolvimento socioeconômico do Nordeste paraense (1890-1920)

    The period among the years of 1880 and 1920 marked the history of the international migrations in the State of Pará. With the strong migration propaganda in Europe, the State of Pará was the stage entrance for many European immigrants, among them, the Spanish. Attracted by agriculture which was in a high position in the state, due to the creation of colonial settlements, several Spanish families, coming many times from poor settlements, crossed the Atlantic and reconstructed their lives in various colonial centers of the State of Pará. Thus, this study is to investigate which socio-economic contributions of Spanish immigrants to the development of northeastern. From now on, it is possible to understand all the process of introduction of these settlers in Pará territory and their daily lives in the settlement, with the use of official documents and interview to demonstrate this experience of Spanish in Amazon. With this, pretend to give a contribute to research the field of historiographical studies on international migration in the Amazon, considering that there is still shortage of work in the migration studies in the region, except for some works recognized by researchers who dedicated themselves to the theme of migration in the paraense territory.

    In this work it is analyzed the diversity and the forms of the communication systems in Zamora - Ecuador, relating them from institution, social participation and social media starting from the production and emission of radio, television, printed communication (written) and the presence of the new technologies in the communication, trying to find spaces from which it is possible to develop practices talkative alternative and democratic that contribute to the social development. The present work examines the their practices of the radio communication, to be one of the main means and with more tradition in the area, the radio stations, particularly local, is analyzed in its models and programming, observing in each one of them its characteristics, objectives and strategies assumed from its commercial or ideological vision, its degree of professional and technical innovation, paying attention and assigning value to the critical position of the listeners to interpret the current and future tendencies that they present. Finally we approach the communication from the context, examining their uses and forms, as well as positive influence or negative in the formation of identity, harmony with the environment, values and knowledge in perspective of improving the quality of the population's life. The investigation leans on in the scientific knowledge because which uses qualitative techniques: Diversity of focal groups, interview, observation and use of bibliographical investigation. Considering the history, the dynamic own, and the valuation that the Zamoranos have, from their perception and identification from the context of codes, languages and goods, position from which they establish norms that should be used for them, allowing us to articulate points of view, analysis and concepts examined from the theory to understand the role that they play in the social media and their importance in making the society better.

    A Parceria público privada na Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia

    This production aims to study Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), at the Federal Rural University of the Amazon. PPPs are an alternative that will contribute to universities carrying out their mission in the current context, taking into account their advantages for the public sector, in this case in particular, in public universities. The aim is to propose how these PPPs can be established, bringing a legal aspect, with benefits for both the institution and the Company involved, mainly, satisfaction with the services provided to the target audience: students, teachers, technicians and the community at large. In this context, the general objective is to analyze the PPPs celebrated with a Federal Education Institution (IFES) that contributes to its final institutional development; and as specific: verify the documents that deal with the practice of public-private partnerships at UFRA, through contracts and PPPs carried out with the support foundation (FUNPEA); analyze the PPPs signed between Ufra and supporting foundations (FADESP and FUNPEA); analyze the perception of managers from the UFRA Contracts and Agreements Department; prepare a Normative Instruction that facilitates the establishment of PPPs at UFRA. This research contributes to the importance of investigating the way in which PPPs are applied and developed more efficiently at UFRA, as well as the main challenges to leveraging culture within UFRA, seeking ways to increase the number of PPPs signed at the institution. , aiming for benefits for both companies, the University and society. Documentary and field research will be used as a methodology, with analysis of reports and interviews with employees working in the UFRA Contracts and Agreements Directorate. The conclusions highlight the significant role of PPPs in several key aspects for institutional growth and improvement, such as investments in construction, renovation and modernization of the institution's physical facilities, directly benefiting the learning environment and promoting an infrastructure suited to the needs of students.

    Políticas públicas, corredores de exportação, modernização portuária, industrialização e impactos territoriais e ambientais no município de Barcarena, Pará

    This paper argues the industrial concentration, increasing and modernization port dynamics in the Barcarena municipality, State of Pará, Brazil. Specifically, it discusses the structural causes of these dynamics, and the qualitative and quantitative changes at local, concern to spatial, social, demographic and environmental aspects. Different times of production and export of mineral commodities (kaolin, bauxite and products originated of her – alumina, aluminum) in the Brazilian Eastern Amazon led to installation, consolidation and expansion of a industrial and port district at Barcarena. In the current decade, Barcarena District is part of national and global corridors (exports, circulation) or productive systems. However, dynamics that sustain economic growth have no prospects to led social and rooted development; establishment of competitive advantages on systemic basis; neither contribute to reverse social and environmental impacts.

    In this dissertation, it was found, based on the questions raised and the reflections from the understanding, that the aging of the population is configured in a real and irreversible phenomenon, it was presented the guiding question of this research: The methodology used to working with adults and old people of the program University of Maturity constitutes a paradigm for the social development of the elderly in the state of Tocantins. The search for the answer to this question guided the research for the studying and understanding of the overall purpose of this dissertation which was to understand the benefits achieved at the UMA for the implementation of public social policies in the State of Tocantins. The specific objectives were chased aiming to recognize the methodological path of UMA / UFT developed in all poles of Tocantins; know the academic profile of the UMA / UFT. To achieve the objectives a case study was developed with quantitative and qualitative approach. Data were collected through semistructured interviews, field diary, questionnaire and photographic record. The research field was the Program University of Maturity Araguaína - UMA polo and the participants were students and professors from UMA / Araguaína managers (dean, pro- deans of UFT) who experience the methodology of the studied object.

    The people of São Lourenço, a village in Barcarena (Pará) have beem experiencing deep changes in their ways of life since the implementation of the metallurgic complex of ALBRAS/ALUNORTE, in the eighties. This research was is oriented to an analytic reflection about the different ways of perception of such changes along a twenty-five year period, originating transformed productive structures and social organization patterns which direct and update daily practices.
