Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Castanhal: a “cidade modelo”, os caminhos e descaminhos do projeto de desenvolvimento(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-12-20) CRUZ, Laiane Helena Silva da; MOURA, Edila Arnaud Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2154370107837866; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0093-8464Inspired by developmentalism ideas, the Brazilian government implemented several public policies during the second half of the last century intending to promote economic growth, fueled mainly by industrialization. After the 1964 coup d’état, to integrate the Amazon region to the rest of the country, the government adopted several public policies such as road construction and generous tax incentives. This region, which was seen as an empty space by the State, began to attract thousands of migrants in search of plots of land. Thus, the goal of this dissertation is to assess the role of the State in the municipality of Castanhal within a political scenario driven by the ideology of development. The city of Castanhal, located in the state of Pará, is analyzed considering three different periods: its creation associated with the construction of the railway station of Bragança-PA, the revitalization of its downtown, and the creation of the Cupiúba rural settlement. This study was carried out based on bibliographic research and literature review about the history of Castanhal and its surrounding area (Bragantina region), as well as on socio-demographic, economic, and agricultural indicators collected from the following databases: SIDRA and Atlas Brasil. The results indicate that Castanhal stands out positively among the other municipalities that were crossed by the Bragança railway due to a set of investments the city received during the analyzed periods. On the other hand, concerning the social reproduction of farmers in rural settlements, there are still many challenges that need to be overcome. The State’s neglect, to which they are subjected, and the creation of the Cupiúba settlement as a palliative measure in response to their land occupation reveal how familiar farming is devalued by public authorities.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) O desenvolvimento socioambiental na Transamazônica: a trajetória de um discurso a muitas vozes(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006) SOUZA, Ana Paula Santos; VEIGA JUNIOR, Iran Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9513562131313692The Transamazônica is a region of agricultural frontier planned by the military governments, with a finality to connect The Amazônia to the rest of the country. With the abandon of the colonization project, the migrants reacted and with the help of Catholic Church created on important social movement. The discourse of a sustainable development, diffused by ECO92 to Transamazônica in 1989, with the meeting of Xingu Indian people, in protest against the construction of Belo Monte Hydroelectric power station. The focus of this study is the discourse. It treats an historic-social analyze of oral and writing discourse of agricultors and the Catholic Church, on the development and the environment, identifying limits and the possibilities, as the provoked changes by its in the politic social and environmental scenery of the region. It used the method of the analyze of discourse since the category of interdiscoursevity, denominated bay Fairclough (2001) as the combination of several elements of order of discourse in a same discourse. The objective of this category is to specify the types of discourse that they are present in analyzed discourse sample. The areas of the study is situated in the west of Pará, more exactly in the localized municipalities a long of BR – 230, of Uruará until Pacaja, in the BR-163, of Placas until Itaituba and in the middle Xingu including the municipalities of Vitória do Xingu, Senador José Porfirio e Porto de Moz. This region is also the priority area of actuation of Prelazia of Xingu and the leaded social movement by agricultors. Four subjects were selected to the analyze: the demarcation of the Cachoeira Seca Indian Land, Especial FNO, the Belo Monte construction and the Proambiente program. The results chose that the international social environmental influenced the agricultors social movement of Transamazônica and Xingu. Though, the creation of the resex, parks, well as debates about the environmental impacts of Belo Monte, a expansion of the soybean and other initiatives also showed that the diversified familiar agriculture, with access to the public politics, getting their production benefited and commercialized, it’s the model of aspired development by these actors. The Proambiente is an example of this.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) O desenvolvimento sustentável e a implementação de políticas públicas na Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-09) MOREIRA, Carla Siqueira; RIBEIRO, Tânia GuimarãesThe objective of this work is to analyze the discourse that involves the category sustainable development, especially when linked to economic growth, for this we start from the contribution of authors of critical theory, as well as other critical authors of the concept, to analyze the idea of sustainable development that consolidates itself, mainly from the 1980s, and translates into the formulation and implementation of public policies aimed at the Brazilian Amazon, marked by the ambiguity of economic growth combined with environmental conservation.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desenvolvimento turístico na Amazônia: uma análise socioespacial fundada nos circuitos da economia urbana em Salinópolis, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-08-24) SILVA, Cleber Gomes da; TAVARES, Maria Goretti da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7796891525258446Observing the characteristic differences in income and technological modernization common to underdeveloped countries, present in the Amazonian context, one defends the thesis that the socio-spatial organization of Salinópolis in Pará can be analyzed as a result of a dialectic relationship between the two circuits of the urban economy, constituted in the process of tourism development. This dynamic can be evidenced to some extent by differences in tourist flows; in labor relations; in organization, technology and spatial distribution of firms. In general terms, it presents itself as an alternative to grasp the implications of tourism praxis in urban space. Due to the multiple possibilities of approach on the subject and the need to overcome more economical conceptions, an alternative of critical analysis is sought that has scope in the local reality. For this purpose, a case study was carried out in the municipality of Salinópolis in the state of Pará, made possible by documentary, bibliographic research, interviews and georeferencing of areas appropriate for tourism in the urban space. Representatives of 100 tourist firms were interviewed, specifically from the lodging facilities and restaurants; 100 residents and 200 tourists. Based on the organization of these data, the thesis was organized, in addition to the introduction and conclusion in three more chapters. In the first chapter, the theoretical approaches of the thesis are discussed and in the second, the role of tourism in the socio-spatial formation of the city is described. The third chapter highlights the relationship between tourism development in the production of urban economy circuits, demonstrated from the results of the field research. Concludes that there is a coexistence of two tourism circuits in the urban economy, responsible for inequalities in socio-spatial organization The results of the analysis can directly contribute to the formulation of proposals for policies, projects and research that allow the emergence of tourism reproduction alternatives capable of contemplating the interests of society at the local scale.Artigo de Evento Acesso aberto (Open Access) A dinâmica do desmatamento da Amazônia: análise sobre o município de Novo Repartimento- PA (2000 a 2020)(Universidade Federal do Sul da Bahia, 2021-11) FARIAS, Monique Helen Cravo Soares; CARVALHO, André Cutrim; BELTRÃO, Norma Ely Santos; SANTOS, Cleber Assis dos; SILVA JÚNIOR, Monaldo Begot daConservation policy in the Amazon presents several dilemmas in the allocation of resources in this region. Deforestation and other forms of destruction and degradation continue rapidly, denying opportunities for conservation and sustainable development. Deforestation in the economic frontier of the State of Pará is linked to the process of occupation and expansion of agricultural, logging and mining activities, as well as the advance of subsistence agriculture. Thus, the objective of this work was to identify and characterize deforestation in the municipality of Novo Repartimento, state of Pará, from 2000 to 2020. As a development stage, the data were obtained in two moments: analysis of data on the evolution of deforestation in the study area through PRODES/INPE; a survey of theoretical and conceptual aspects of the dynamics of deforestation, obtained through the analysis of national and international scientific journals, legislation, reports and institutional publications. From 2000 to 2020, 8.423,2 km2 of deforested areas were detected in Novo Repartimento, representing 54.58% of its total area. Considerable evolution in the deforested areas was detected in the municipality, reflecting the need for intense and effective actions to prevent deforestation in this region.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Dinâmica do desmatamento no município de Óbidos (PA) e o estudo da gestão do Programa Municípios Verdes (PMV)(Centro Universitário Augusto Motta, 2019-06) AIRES, Alana Paula de Araújo; CARVALHO, André Cutrim; NUNES, Silvia Ferreira; RAVENA, NírveaThe research aims to carry out a preliminary analysis on the socio-environmental and economic transformations that occurred in the municipality of Óbidos, in the State of Pará. Since natural resources are of great importance and their use requires planning and use of local public policies at the moment of managing these resources and use them in the best way, both to generate income for the population that resides in the region, and to preserve them. However, in recent years inadequate planning for extraction of these resources has not been carried out successfully and with due parsimony with the environment. This ends up generating a very high commitment of the natural resources with drastic consequences for the environment and for the development of the State. On the other hand, the economic and disorderly growth in border regions as the study municipality, continues being the main causes of deforestation. The objective of this article is to identify the deforestation process, as well as the link with deforestation and the importance of the institutions in the region of Pará and the municipality of Óbidos. The research will discuss the local public policies used to combat deforestation in the region, considering the needs and the preposition of alternatives capable of offering improvements in the current population of that region.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) A educação do campo no contexto de desenvolvimento do litoral Norte do estado do rio Grande do Sul(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-12) TAUCEDA, Karen Cavalcanti; BOLTER, Jairo Alfredo Genz; HAAS, Jaqueline Mallmann; SEMINOTTI, Jonas José; FENNER, Ronieri dos SantosThis research intends to address the social and educational aspects of the first year of the Rural Education course at Federal University of Rio Grande do SUl (UFRGS) North Coast Campus. The intention was to analyze the relationship established between the political pedagogical proposal, with emphasis on the natural sciences and the design of territorial development, considering socio-economic aspects of the North Coast of the RS. To understand the pedagogical advances in this ongoing implementation process, there was a qualitative research among students of the first class seeking to question about the understanding of the same in relation to the design of the Rural Education course, the role of pedagogical practices in the debate on sustainable development of the region, the relationship established between the Rural Education, development and Natural Sciences and as the course has contributed to the personal and professional training.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estratégias discursivas da Vale S.A. e a construção do pensamento sobre o desenvolvimento da Amazônia(Universidade Metodista de São Paulo, 2021-08) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deVale S.A. mining company is a transnational company, present in 30 countries, and one of the largest mining companies in the world. In the Brazilian Amazon, it has operated for more than three decades, mainly with the Grande Carajás Program and recently with the S11D Project, a project to expand iron ore extraction activities in the Serra de Carajás, in the state of Pará. Through Discourse and Enunciation Analysis (VERÓN, 2004), this research examines how the discourses produced on the mining company’s website are constructed in the page entitled “S11D Eliezer Batista Complex”, based on the development ideals disclosed by the company. The S11D is considered by critics in the mining sector to be the continuation of the PGC, now with the prospect of doubled profits. The analysis considered that the mining company contributes to the construction of ideals on development in the Amazon, based on the idea of economic growth, ignoring the discourses that represent the territories and social subjects of the region where it operates.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma experiência de inclusão digital na Amazônia: o Programa NavegaPará e o horizonte da democracia representativa. Limites e esperanças(Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, 2012-08) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; BAÍA, Dayane Correa PantojaThe aim of this paper is to discuss the strategy of Digital Inclusion in Amazon. We observe the NavegaPará Program, developed by the Pará government in partnership with Eletronorte, the Federal and municipal governments and civil society organizations. We seek to understand how this program dialogues with a regional development models to create alternatives to the status of “limited development” imposed over the Amazon by the mentality of Brazilian southeast region – political and economical centre of the country. We also seek to understand the political dimension present in the notion of Digital Inclusion.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Extinção espacial em crianças de diferentes idades(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-07-06) REIS, Maiana Araújo dos; TONNEAU, François Jacques; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2917023797307669Experimental evidence suggests that insects, and in particular ants, rely on spatial cues to travel along large distances when searching for food. In a study that served as a model for the present research, Wehner e Srivinasan (1981) showed that when placed in an unknown context, desert ants (Cataglyphis Formicidae, Hymenoptera) did not travel in a random fashion. In fact, these insects spend most of their time in places where the likelihood of finding food or the nest is more likely: ants searching for food show a pattern of exploration with recurrent oscillations toward the goal. In the present research with children from 6 to 12 years of age, our purpose was to measure behavioral patternsin a situation of spatial extinction and evaluate their degree of similarity to those of the ants in Wehner and Srivinasan’s study. Our procedure involved the children’s respondingwith a computer mouse toward a stimulus displayed on the screen. First, during seven observation trials, the children were supposed to click on a specific location to make a coin appear at this location. Then a 3-min test phase (i.e., extinction) started. During this phase the coin did not appear anymore and the children’s mouse clicks had no programmed consequences. The results obtained during extinction suggest that younger children (from 6 to 7 years of age) respond in a way more similar to the behavior of Wehner and Srivinasam’s ants, whereas older children (from 10 to 12 years of age) follow systematic patterns of exploration that are more in line with the geometric properties of the border of the monitor than with the spatial localization of the target.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Gestão compartilhada do patrimônio arqueológico na Amazônia: conflitos e desafios entre o oficial, o legal e o real(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-06-04) SILVA, Ana Cristina Rocha; SIMONIAN, Ligia Terezinha Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6620574987436911; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6690-7244This thesis presents the conceptual expansion of the term cultural heritage brought by the Federal Constitution of 1988. Having done this, it contextualizes the reflexes of this expansion in Brazil's preservationist policy, starting in the 21st century. By accepting the broad understanding of cultural heritage defended by CF / 1988, the new preservation policy seeks to break the traditionalist paradigm, in order to allow civil society to play a leading role in the management of cultural heritage. Thus, it aims to guarantee access to and enjoyment of cultural goods for all, as well as to enable the exercise of citizenship and the sustainability of local populations. Classified as cultural heritage by article 216 of the CF / 1988, archaeological goods are contained in this set of challenges. In view of these paradigmatic transformations, the study presented here sought to understand how the semantic extension of the term cultural heritage and the (re) orientation of national cultural policy have been detached from the discursive field and transformed into democratic and emancipatory practices in the management of archaeological assets in the Amazon. The study aims to analyze the process of inclusion of local populations in the management of archaeological heritage, in the states of Amapá and Pará, in order to understand the role of the public authorities for the promotion and appropriation of cultural goods, focusing on the pillars of sustainability. Methodologically, the research was developed from the interaction between ethnographic and qualitative methods. The results point to the peripheral position of society in the management of archaeological heritage. With a genesis linked to a modernist project, the national patrimonial policy was based on a western view of the world and consolidated a practice centered on the preservation of monuments. Thus, dissonant epistemologies and cultural processes are disqualified by management strategies. In the Amazon, this practice ignores the multiple ways of apprehending the archaeological heritage by local populations. In addition, local knowledge and epistemologies are neglected by the extensive legal apparatus formed around archaeological heritage. For these reasons, in the region, the official preservation policy, the protection legislation and the reality of the local populations clash and make it difficult to implement the guidelines that guide the current patrimonial policy. In other words, the official, the legal and the real go in different directions and centralize the management of archaeological resources in the figure of the State and the specialists of the heritage.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) La importancia de la educación y del capital humano como dinamizador del desarrollo en Brasil(Servicios Académicos Intercontinentales S.L., 2018-04) CARVALHO, André CutrimThe main objective of this article is to bring to the dance the debate on education and development in Brazil, especially in the current context of economic, social and, mainly, institutional crisis. Education, generally and broadly, is and always was considered an important factor in the socioeconomic development of a country and, in a certain way, an indicator linked to the quality of life. In this context, the relationships that involve education and development, evidently refer to multiple and complex social, economic and cultural dimensions. As the objective is to characterize the role of each one in the process of economic development of the region, this research can be defined as exploratory. In addition, the article in question will seek as many information as possible to understand this important, but difficult connection movement involving education and development in Brazil using the qualitative research technique. As a most important conclusive aspect, it is necessary to emphasize that the development of Brazil was deeply compromised in the course of its formation due to the absence of educational establishments. In addition, the inefficient education system contributed to the low intellectual level of the population, a fact that interfered directly with the country's economy. Then, to deprive the Brazilian population today of a more elaborate education is to opt for the subordination of the country internationally. In addition, nothing can be more devastating and disastrous for a country than an uncultivated and uncivilized population, taking into account that the true national development, be it in the cultural, scientific and technological areas, goes through a political choice that prioritizes the intellectual elevation of its town. If these principles are not contemplated, our public schools will continue to embitter with their low qualitative indexes and a process of economic development increasingly distant and unenforceable.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mulheres descolonizando a Amazônia pelos caminhos de vida: Produção de subjetividades atravessadas pelo projeto de nação desenvolvimentista(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-07-10) CASTRO, Brenda Thainá Cardoso de; LOUREIRO, Violeta Refkalefsky; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3092799127943216Subjectivities constantly challenge the nation project when confronting developmental policies that adopt values and ways of life that are different from their own. In view of this, some contexts, such as the case of the Amazon, allow us to perceive how the production of subjectivities occurs in dynamics with capitalism and the State, specifically in the years of political crisis experienced in Brazil since mid2014 and 2015, going through impeachment from President Dilma Rousseff until the rise of the farright government of Jair Bolsonaro. The present study is then designed in this scenario to think from the life paths of women living in Tapajós, how they relate to the nation project under the developmental sign that historically projects the future of the nation in the Amazon through logic of expropriation and exploitation. The study was carried out through field research developed over recurring trips from 2017 to 2019, connecting them to macropolitical developments in the period and the reality in three different locations: the village of AlterdoChão, Santarém; the Jamaraquá community, in the Tapajós National Forest; and the community of Coroca, on the Arapiuns River, part of the Lago Grande Agroextractive Settlement Project. In addition to the experience and daily conversations during the visits, 11 interviews were conducted with women who live in the three locations, of different ages, to think about the process of producing subjectivities. In this context, we started with references from postcolonial and decolonial studies, as well as schizoanalysis, to identify the effects of coloniality on contemporary structures and relationships, both on subjects and subjects, but also on institutions and regions, such as the Amazon. , built in the social imaginary as a gendered and racialized place, which historically is in line with a vision of a developmental project for Brazil. And that, for women, this process will involve peculiarities based on the coloniality of gender, which also crosses relations of race, class and place of origin / belonging. It was realized that subjectivities can both be compatible with the values that serve capitalist and state interests, but they can also be incompatible, leading to a rupture and the singularization of these subjectivities. Equally, it was also noticed that there is a possibility of crossing, in which a rupture is sought, but due to the structural and systematic limitations, displacement is a tool found to meet one's needs, coexist within a capitalist society and still produce desires even if involved in modern / colonial logic.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) NAEA 45 anos: uma utopia criadora(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-04) ARAGÓN VACA, Luis EduardoThis paper is a personal vision of the NAEA's foundations, its purposes, its trajectory, its scope and challenges from someone who has followed its history since 1976, for 42 years, therefore. It is supported by official documents on the creation of the NAEA, and texts on its production and trajectory, written by several authors, especially from home, highlighting those elaborated by Armando Mendes. Creative utopias are guiding ideas always seeking a "light at the end of the tunnel" that even without being fully achieved stimulate the creation of new concepts and methodologies. In this context, the NAEA was conceived as an integrating institution of university doing, able to break with structures and concepts that were then anchored in positivism. In constructing this utopia, the NAEA was envisaged involving three interdependent pillars that would identify it and give it its own personality. The three pillars are summarized in the key concepts of Development, Interdisciplinarity and Amazonia. The challenge, or creative utopia, is precisely to give new contents to these concepts, and make them tools capable of approaching and transforming the Amazonian reality. After 45 years, how has NAEA been responding to this challenge?, is what is asked in this paper.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Proposta de indicadores de desenvolvimento socioeconômico e ambientalmente/ecologicamente sustentável – o IDHA e o IDHE(Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica, 2018-08) CARVALHO, Rhayza Alves Figueiredo de; CARVALHO, Abner Vilhena de; TANAKA FILHO, Mario; ALMEIDA, Rodolfo Maduro; GUIMARÃES, Jarsen Luis Castro; BARROS, Márcio Júnior Benassuly; CARVALHO, Ednéa do Nascimento; CARVALHO, André CutrimThis paper aims to propose the development of two indicators that incorporate the sustainable perspective in its methodological framework, from the inclusion of an environmental / ecological dimension, together with the other traditional dimensions of human development (standard of living, life expectancy and access to knowledge. ), in order to verify the importance that this environmental metric reflects in the analyzes of a broader development, filling a gap left by the traditional indicators, which do not consider the environmental dimension as an integral part of the analytical instrument. The inclusion of such a dimension is extremely relevant in the development and sustainability analysis, as it has a direct impact on the population's quality of life. Therefore, the environmental quantification is proposed through two indices: the Environmental Quality Index and the Ecological Footprint, which verify aspects of the quality of the environment as well as biophysical aspects. Then, these environmental indices will be incorporated into the economic (per capita income) and social (education and health) dimensions, allowing to identify the level of human development of a given locality. The results of the study allow us to analyze the level of environmental quality, as well as to indicate the level of human development, showing the essentiality of the environmental dimension in the construction of development indicators, especially of a sustainable nature, which may present itself as a factor that reduces or it increases the level of development of a locality when compared to different ones, allowing comparative analyzes by the ranking method or by the impact estimation through economic-environmental modeling.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Revisão integrativa sobre conceitos analítico-comportamentais relacionados ao desenvolvimento(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) JIMÉNEZ, Érika Larissa de Oliveira; JÚNIOR, Mauro Dias Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2665950726942083; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8544-4468; GOULART, Paulo Roney Kilpp; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7800966999068746Behavioral analytic concepts related to Development were reviewed on an integrative review: behavioral traps, cumulative-hierarchical learning, pivotal behaviors and behavioral cusps. From the review, possibilities of dialogue and boundaries between Behavior Analysis (BA) and the Developmental Systems Approach (DSA) were discussed. The CAPES Journal Portal for the search and only peer-reviewed articles published between 1967 and December 2016, written in English or Portuguese, that contained exactly the search terms in the title, abstract or keywords were selected. After the application of these criteria and the elimination of repetitions, 25 articles were selected. The analysis pointed out to behavioral traps as a concept dealing with specific social arrangements not controlled experimentally related to broad changes in repertoire. Cumulative-hierarchical learning (CHL) occur as long learning processes and tend to become more complex throughout the lifespan. The basic behavioral repertoires (BBR) would refer to the influence of prior learning about the current repertoire. Both, CHL and BBR, are imprecise in their definitions, especially in the case of BBR. Pivotal behaviors and behavioral cusps have similarities regarding the phenomena they cover, behaviors that are critical to development. However, behavioral cusp is considered more comprehensive. From the approach between Behavior Analysis and the Developmental Systems Approach, it was verified that although they are independent disciplines, there is similarity between some concepts of BA with concepts and principles of DSA. Interlocution between BA and DSA can contribute to broadening the scope of variables that can be used in a behavioral investigation by questioning developmental phenomena formerly designated as exclusively biological.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Teoria dos stakeholders e os efeitos de encadeamento para trás do capital transnacional na Amazônia: o reflexo econômico da Hydro no setor terciário do município de Barcarena(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-06-29) RIBEIRO, Erlon Cid Reis; SILVA, Fábio Carlos da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3704903975084467; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5266-9935Approaches around the idea of development based on an integral vision in the sense that the transcendence of human consciousness promotes an aggregating posture in their relationships, whether social, economic, and even in the treatment of environmental issues, is the essence of this work. To conceive it within a scientific standard, the objective was to discuss the Theory of Stakeholders with its collaborative potential for human development and, consequently, for its collectivity, illustrated from a perspective of the classical thinking of the Hirschman's development in his Theory of Backlink Effects. This observation took place in the important industrial hub of Pará, located in the municipality of Barcarena, listing the Hydro alumina refinery, as an excerpt of the customary reproduction of transnational capital in peripheral nations from an economic point of view and the reflection of this on the said local region. An approach regarding the Stakeholders Theory regarding the change in the organizational paradigm in relation to profit maximization, the assimilation of nature, the individual and his collectivity, as parts of the physiology of the corporate world, presenting the capitalist essence, its contradictions, negative externalities and its reflection on global interactions at the political, economic, human, social and environmental level was the path chosen, in an attempt to approach a perception of the relationship between transnational capital and the local region of the municipality of Barcarena. In the end, without detriment to the understanding of the harmful effects imputed by the capitalist mode of production to societies in the global economic periphery, we understand the importance of the Stakeholders Theory and its "integrating profile", presented as a contributory thought that is materialized in idea of Backlink Effects, corroborating the strengthening of the tertiary sector in the municipality of Barcarena.
