Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas (ABP): identificação das dificuldades docentes para a utilização do método no curso de Engenharia Civil.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-08-28) SILVA, Sidnei Silva e; MACEDO, Alcebíades Negrão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8313864897400179; NEVES, Renato Martins das; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6538317425557058The technical training of engineering teachers brings with it difficulty in mediating in an educational process way of building knowledge, which negatively influences student training. To minimize such effects, we used the Problem Based Learning (PBL) as an alternative. Therefore, this paper aims to present the difficulties identified in the teacher's perception for the use of the method in the civil engineering course through the construction of an implementation proposal in two disciplines in a public university of Marabá. The research is characterized as action research and was developed in eleven cycles proposed in the disciplines. These problems were built based on the contents offered for these subjects and a technical visit to a teaching institution that uses PBL as a curricular basis. Besides, we used observations of similar studies developed on the use of the PBL method. The results demonstrate the feasibility of using the technique, shown by the good acceptance of both the teacher and the students involved in the research. Besides that, we observed which the students have gotten excellent performance at the end of each discipline. However, some difficulties were found: the cultural elements, the curriculum, and the lack of some teaching skills as factors that can hinder the use of the PBL either by the student or by the teacher himself. From these results we concluded that the studies demonstrate the feasibility of using the method, however, essential elements present in the educational process would need to be enhanced so that the PBL could be fully used within the institution, such as teacher training, or curriculum-related issues could contribute to the development of the topic addressed in this study.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Perfil acadêmico-profissional de professores de pós-graduação stricto sensu em enfermagem: análise por subárea de conhecimento(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-08-01) TRINDADE, Ricky Falcão Silva; VENDRUSCOLO, Carine; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2297459405565528; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5163-4789; MENEGAZ, Jouhanna do Carmo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2423764452219953; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7655-9826Introduction: The area of Nursing has eight suba-reas of knowledge: fundamental nursing; emerging, reemerging, and neglected disease nursing; adult and elderly health nursing; women's health nursing; child and adolescent health nursing; nursing in management and management; mental health nursing; Collective health nursing. It is suggested that each of the nursing subareas has well-defined and distinct characteristics for teaching and research, whether in the sources or in the production of knowledge. Objective: To analyze the academic-professional profile of professors of stricto sensu graduate programs in Nursing by subarea of knowledge, based on the concepts of asymmetry, cooperation, and social insertion. Method: This is a cross-sectional, documentary study with a quantitative approach, which was structured from the steps proposed by Gil (2022): a) formulation of the problem and objectives; b) identification of sources; c) location of sources and access to documents; d) evaluation of documents; e) selection and organization of information; f) analysis and interpretation of data; g) writing of the report[.] Data collection took place from March 2020 to December 2020, with the main data sources being: Plataforma Sucupira and Plataforma Lattes. Results: The sample focused on the subarea of nursing care for the health of adults and the elderly, suggesting that it is the priority focus for Nursing, while nursing care for emerging and reemerging diseases had an insignificant representation. It was identified that nursing professors predominantly perform the following activities: they teach classes at the undergraduate level (93.68%), at the graduate level (93.26%), they are journal reviewers (90.88%) and they are project coordinators of research (96.77%). The inequality in the distribution of graduate programs in nursing in Brazil is equally represented when looking at the place of training, at all levels, especially when comparing the Southeast and North regions. Except for coordinating extension and teaching projects, more than half of the teachers develop a set of activities that demand time, knowledge, management, and diverse knowledge. Final considerations: It was possible to carry out an evaluation of the nursing area, and it was possible to detect asymmetrical organization processes, mainly in the location of the programs and the number of professors, which are concentrated in the Southeast region, while the North and Midwest are passed over. In relation to the asymmetric process, the lack of doctoral courses in the North Region stands out, which seems to be hampered in several aspects, such as: distance from the training center of the area Southeast , low availability of resources and financing, evaluation metrics that do not match the Amazonian context. The study provides subsidies for a deep analysis of the state of the area in the observed period and it is believed that they are possible contributions to the refinement of evaluation metrics of funding agencies.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sindicalismo docente: a participação sindical dos professores da rede municipal de Castanhal-PA no SINTEPP(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-02-28) OLIVEIRA, Victor Fernando Ramos de; RIBEIRO, Maria Edilene da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6279228695466400The objective of this study is investigating the participation of te teachers of the municipal network of Castanhal-PA in the actions of the SINTEPP, how they identify themselves as social class and the positioning of the direction, amid the reflux in the teaching movement. In view of the structural crisis of capital that has promoted various changes in the world of labor that deepens the exploitation of labor and erodes the organization of workers, we experience, according to experts, a crisis of trade unionism. In this universe, SINTEPP-Castanhal presents a 43% enrollment rate among the Castanhal-RMC Municipal Teachers, which is higher than the national unionization rate for all workers, which is 12%. In this sense, the following question emerges: amid the context of reflux in the teaching movement, how has the participation of teachers in the union, their social class identity and the positioning of management in SINTEPP-Castanhal been manifest? In the search to configure this totality that permeates the union participation of these teachers, it was made analysis of documents, application of questionnaires and interviews. At the end of this research, we identify that among affiliates and non-affiliates who participate in union activities are motivated by instrumental, ideological and solidarity issues, but also identify some limits of this participation, such as: corporatism, outsourcing of struggle, indifference, as well as the intensification of the teaching work itself; on the other hand, the union/direction has managed to focus on the category, but at the moment it also presents challenges to strengthen the participation of the base, due to limitations in communication and union formation, among others. Thus, this research points out that the strengthening workers' participation is essential for unions to step out of the defensive posture and articulate offensive actions of real struggles that converge with the emancipation of the working class.
