Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aplicação da análise de viabilidade econômica e financeira para venda de casas em um condomínio residencial no interior do Amazonas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-08-18) SILVA, Aline Souza da; BATISTA, Clauderino da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1345689043203622Civil Construction was one of the sectors that had the greatest negative impact since the last economic crisis in 2014, in which it closed more than 100 thousand jobs, and consequently, the situation was much more alarming, as there was a worsening in the following three years; however, there was a slight hike in 2018, with the help of the reduction in the Selic rate, in which people withdrew their money from investments that did not have as much income and invested in residential or commercial properties. In this way, new investments will be made possible, be they commercial or residential projects, creation of construction sites, hiring of personnel, machinery and material. Therefore, this work aims to apply the analysis of economic and financial feasibility in a residential condominium in the municipality of Iranduba, in the interior of Amazonas; showing the details of the project, and the costs involved in the elaboration; analyzing the economic and financial risk indicators; presenting cash flow, EBITDA, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (TIR) and Payback to identify and evaluate the viability of the project; demonstrate possible flaws in the execution of the project. Starting from a feasibility study, using as a method, an applied and quali-quantitative research; bibliographic surveys, analysis and data analysis. Data were collected at the construction company and developer in the development and new business sector. The results showed that the project studied is economically viable and offers great potential. A simulation was carried out with the sale of all units of the project until the thirtieth month of execution, that is, until the completion of the work. The commercialization hypothesis resulted in a NPV of R$3,542,284.98, IRR of 34.27% p.a., simple payback with return on investment in the 26th month of execution and profitability index of 1.10. Based on these data, it was possible to carry out the application of economic feasibility indicators in the project's cash flow in order to verify the return on investment. The scenarios proved to be profitable and consistent in terms of their financial health and an interesting alternative for the investor, since all the methods of analysis applied showed a very positive result over the monthly periods analyzed, indicating a reasonably quick financial return.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estudo da viabilidade econômica da implantação de coberturas termoacústicas com painéis fotovoltáicos em edificações: estudo de caso em uma instituição de ensino superior(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-03-20) BRAZ, Sérgio Cabeça; MACEDO, Alcebíades Negrão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8313864897400179With the evolution of humanity and the appearance of new technologies in civil construction combined with the need for environmental comfort, reduction of environmental impacts and consumption of electricity, it becomes indispensable to use new materials and sources of renewable energy in buildings for reduction costs and environmental impacts. In this scenario, the coverage of the buildings of a higher education institution in the state of Pará was studied aiming at the environmental comfort and reduction of costs in the consumption of electric energy. Exploratory research was carried out, considering the area of the building, type of coverage, the consumption of electric energy and calculations through the projected cash flow with a time horizon of 25 years compatible with the useful life of the system. We thus obtained discounted cash flow, payback and net present value. The results showed that the use of the hermoacoustic tile in the roofs with the implantation of the photovoltaic solar energy system as an alternative for cost reduction is feasible for the studied buildings with a saving of around 13%, time of return 12/13 years (50% of the system's useful life) and NPV of, on average, 44% of the initial investment. For the covered walkways of the Institution that in its totality is approximately 5km, the implantation of the photovoltaic system was not viable.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estudo da viabilidade econômica para a utilização da semente da euterpe oleracea mart. (açaí) como recurso energético(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-07-09) LUCZYNSKI, Miroslawa; MACHADO, Luiza Carla Girard Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9773700229115395This work had as objective the study of the economic viability for the Euterpe oleraceas Mart. (açaí) seed use as energy resource in the city of Belém-PA. Initially, it was realized a field survey of the sail points and quarters of biggest production of açaí, carrying through after that the assays of the termogravimetric properties of the seeds that are: Humidity text, volatile text, cinzas text, fixed carbon text and superior calorific power. The survey points made possible the creation of a data base, using the Microsoft Software Access, which supplies reports with the identification of the proprietors name, as well as the number of bags that is it processes per day, weight of bag and its energy potential. It was used still the Microsoft ARC VIEW, of easy interaction with Access that made possible the creation of an up to date map of the points for the city of Belém-PA. With those data a study of the transport routes was made in the Geographic Information System (GIS) GOOGLE EARTH. There were determined routes, through the Centroid method, which is the point of highest concentration of the variable of study, in this case, the açaís seed, for the transport of biomass to its final destination that is the UFPA, where if it finds the plant that uses the biomass as combustible to generate energy. When calculating the economic viability there were used the plant of Energy and Biomass of the Group of Energy, Biomass and Environment (EBMAs) together with the data of the consumption of electric energy of the UFPA in the period from 06/2006 to 06/2007, finally it was realized a comparison between the values gotten in the two done surveys and the confirmation of how much the UFPA would save in financial and energy terms with the biomass energy use. In conclusion the açaís seed is economically viable as energy resource for energy supply in UFPA, since the cost of supplied electric energy the concessionaire services the CELPA must exceed the cost of the renewable generation system, thus causing an economy in the final value, of the consumption of electric energy.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estudo de viabilidade econômica da implantação de leito de secagem para tratamento de efluentes sanitários gerados em uma mineradora no estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-12-28) FERREIRA, Cleyton Eduardo Costa; MENDONÇA, Neyson Martins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7534816053779593Waste management is one of the main challenges of modern society, especially when it comes to finding more sustainable and economical alternatives for the treatment and disposal of these materials. In this context, biosolids, a byproduct generated from wastewater treatment, have been identified as a possible source of nutrients and organic matter for agriculture and other sectors, thus contributing to a more circular economy. Biosolids contain a large amount of nutrients that can be used to improve soil quality and increase agricultural productivity (OLIVEIRA et al., 2018). In addition, the use of biosolids as fertilizer can reduce the need for chemical inputs, contributing to the reduction of the environmental impact associated with final disposal (RIBEIRO et al., 2015). This study was conducted in a mining company in the state of Pará, Brazil, which has eight decentralized anaerobic wastewater treatment plants. The study aimed to define the treatment route for biosolids, as well as to evaluate the economic viability of implementing a drying bed for the production of biosolids to be applied in the restoration of degraded areas. It was found that 11,776 kg of total suspended solids (TSS) per year of sludge are generated, resulting in the design of a drying bed with three cells, each with 22 m², an operation cycle of 25 days, and a Surface Application Rate of 13.30 Kg TSS/m²xdia. For sanitization, CaO was chosen. The implementation cost of the drying bed was R$ 100,358.70, operational costs were R$ 2,059.62/month, and the solution via incineration was R$ 18,415.80/month. Based on the simple and discounted payback, the investment returns in approximately 7.14 and 7.19 months, respectively, and is part of the synergistic costs with the current sanitation management. The other indicators point to the investment as viable and capable of financial surplus. Therefore, the company will have financial and environmental gains with the implementation of the project.
