Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A formação de professores no curso de história da Universidade Federal do Pará: uma análise do projeto político pedagógico(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-05-21) NASCIMENTO, Sérgio Bandeira do; SILVA, Josenilda Maria Maués da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9246008698629513The present study presents as theme the teachers' formation and searches to investigate the following problem: which treatment is given to the teachers' formation to act in the basic education starting from the current political pedagogical project of the course of History at UFPA? We looked for understanding how is organized the curricular proposal of that course and how the formation is approached for the teaching in the referred PPP of this course. The investigation was constituted in a qualitative study with authors' of the history field theoretical subsidy, of the curriculum and of the educational formation. We adopted a documental analysis and we used official documents of NCE as NCG for the Degree courses in History and NCG for the courses of Formation of Teachers of the Basic and other Education levels with inclusion interns at UFPA to understand their influences on the PPP of the course investigated that carries the formative propositions for the professional of History in this ISE. In analysis to the PPP of the course of History verified that the formative perspective in the investigated course is anchored in the teacher-historian's formation, approaching the model of the teacher-researcher's formation extolled by NCG for Formation of Teachers. However, we didn't identify the ephistemolological and practical means for the execution of this purpose of educational formation in the configuration of the curricular structure, mainly for the development of researches on the education phenomenon. We also identified that the treatment of the pedagogic knowledge, indispensable in the educational formation to act in the Basic Education, appears in a secondary way in the curricular structure analyzed. Therefore, we inferred that the historical knowledge assumes the priority in the development of the investigated course stating that the importance of the formation concentrates on the historian, to the detriment of the teacher's formation.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A idéia de saúde, meio ambiente e educação ambiental e alunos do ensino fundamental - Vigia de Nazaré/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-09-29) LIMA, Rosanira Furtado de; MAGALHÃES, Luiz Marconi Fortes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6032076996211936The study represents a contribution to enrich the patrimony of the Teaching of Sciences, starting from professional experiences and people with the theory in the fields of the health, environment and environmental education, in school environment. This study also represents a responsibility in the sense of collaborating with the construction of a formal education that can unmask a critical vision of the social reality. Two research subjects (How students of 5th series of the fundamental teaching express in their ideas the concepts of health, environment and does education adapt and, why is a person's health related with the environment where she lives and, with the environmental education what does she have) were they proposed with the intention of looking for a better understanding in the way how students of the fundamental teaching show in their ideas the enunciation of the concepts of health, environment and environmental education and the relationship among them. The methodological mark points the case study as the knowledge used for the sustentation and materialization of the investigation and, the observation and the interview as necessary complementally knowledge to the accomplishment of the planning, of the collection and of the analysis of the data. The methodological delineate describes of the context in which the subject of the research are inserted, the atmosphere of the research, the construction of the data, the encounter researcher-subjects and the concepts used in the study. The results are shown in two sections. The first display as the subject of the research if they manifested in relation to the concepts of health, environment and environmental education. Monday shows the reason a person's health is related with the environment where she lives and with the environmental education that she has, according to the manifestations of the subject of the research. The study shows a reflection on the theme on the agenda (total knowledge) and the classroom (local knowledge) and. it points that it is possible to build an education school, significant, starting from the knowledge, interests and local needs without losing the dimension macro of the school, of the society and of the world.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A minha vida seria muito diferente se não fosse a matemática: o sentido e os significados do ensino de matemática em processos de exclusão e de inclusão escolar e social na educação de jovens e adultos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-04-18) RODRIGUES, Ana Maria Sgrott; ARAGÃO, Rosália Maria Ribeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5651914385447486The present inquiry deals with a case study which is concerned to the students of a public school as part of a special program of Young and Adult Education. Such students were registered in 3rd. and 4th. stages of that program, whose curricular format corresponds to the four last series of Junior Basic Education. These stages concentrate matter, space and time in order to develop four school years in two. The school is located in a geographic area occupied by slums whose community lives in a real condition of social exclusion. That region sits close to two public important universities. Young students as well as adults in that context were studying in that school just because they lived a school trajectory marked by social obstacles and other impediments to study and work at the same time, so that they could not improve their schooling grades without interruptions that had hindered them to conclude their Basic Education. For these reasons I aimed to investigate what kind of elements in Mathematics Education can contribute successfully for the desirable inclusion of these students in schooling regular activities, as well as elements that create effective exclusion of school as a phenomenon that inversely acts in order to give feedback to the inevitable process of social exclusion of those students. So, I assumed the construction of this inquiry in a narrative way related to the particular context of that school, while involving and interacting with the subjects of this research, which are students, teachers and other employees of the school. I considered their life stories and the way they consider the pedagogical events in their school living, especially those related to Mathematics Education. Therefore, I aimed as objectives of this research to produce other directions, other relations and nexuses that could answer 'how ' and ' why ' the considered criteria of analysis contribute to bring out the process of schooling either inclusion or exclusion. These analyses make possible to evidence the terms of imminent exclusion, detached either by the school indifference or by the teachers misformation to teach those students. Besides that I noticed the disrespect for the life-history of the students that distorted a clear pedagogical vision when it is supposed "adequate curricula summary" and "equality of chances" in the comparison of the former excluded students with the legally said as students in regular education".Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A política de municipalização do ensino fundamental no estado do Pará e suas relações com a reforma do Estado(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2005-06-07) GUTIERRES, Dalva Valente Guimarães; SANTOS, Terezinha Fátima Andrade Monteiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9502681594591950The study focus the politics of Municipalização of Primary Schools in the state of Pará and their relations with the State Reform starting from an analysis of the proposal of Municipalização of Primary Schools in the state, which is understood as part of the decentralization politics of educational management, which started during the 90s. The main objective of this study was to try to establish possible connections between the politics of Municipalização of schools and the proposal of management project rendered by the State Reform. The methodology used during this study was helped by the documental analysis, the collecting of the theoretical production of this subject, as well as the analysis of the statistical results of basic education offer between 1996 and 2004. The study shows that the politics of decentralization and management modernization defended by the State Reform have guided the politics of decentralization and that of focusing on the financing of education, such as the one created by the Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento do Ensino Fundamental e Valorização do Magistério FUNDEF, which has influenced the Municipalização of primary schools in Brazil because of its characteristics, specially in the state of Pará. The proposal of Municipalização of the state government has today the participation of 61,1% of the towns and has as its objective to universalize this process through all the one hundred and forty three towns until the year 2007. The concern which makes the state government come up with this politics is based more on the economical-financing scenario, typical of the management proposed by the State Reform, then the improvement of the democratic management of the public politics made possible by the proximity of the local authorities, demands which were required by the social manifestation of the 80s. The participation of the local governments itself, once this participation mainly happened in 97 and 98 (the years when the FUNDEF was implanted in Pará), shows the little time given to planning by these authorities who overloaded themselves with a lot of responsibilities without an accurate assessment of the educational management conditions for the new demands. If, at one side, there is, on the proposal, an extreme concern with the aspects that envolve the rationalization of the resource uses, one of the main aspects of the management, at another side there is a huge fragility not only regarding the social control of these resources shown by the denounces of FUNDEV resources deviation, but also by the non-existence of a Local Education Council in more than 90% of the towns, which makes it difficult the feasibility of a democratic management in these places. The efficiency of the educational management, one of the basic principles of the management and the proposal of Municipalização of the teaching in Pará is, furthermore, compromised by the SEDUC conclusion; that towns, with rare exceptions, act, in general, managing only the present.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O adoecimento dos trabalhadores docentes na rede pública de ensino de Belém-Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-06-16) REIS, Maria Izabel Alves dos; MAUÉS, Olgaíses Cabral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0118802077232494This thesis investigates the illness of teachers working in elementary education from Public Education Network in Belém - RME in Pará State, from the educational reforms implemented in the period 2005-2012. The overall objective consisted in analyzing the causes of illness of teachers in Public Education Network of Belém RME, noting the following specific objectives: to analyze educational policies of RME; identify the effects of educational policies and their relation to the illness of the teacher; analyzing the working conditions of teachers; identify the occurrence of intensification and casualization in teaching and possible relations with the illness. The survey was conducted in two stages: the first stage was the realization of literature to better understand the topic. To understand the concept of Work, World of Work, Work, Work and Education Market studies were performed in authors such as Marx (2006), Alves (2010); Antunes (2006), Frigotto (2003), who bring a deep understanding of the subject matter, why are references for analysis in historical-dialectical perspective. On Educational Policy and Teacher Labor, has been taken based on studies of Oliveira (2003); Maués (2006); Shiroma et al. (2007) and others. The authors used to discuss health and illness in general and school were: Bravo (2010, 2011), Codo (2006, 2010), Was (1999), Benevides-Pereira (2006), Minayo (1998) and others. The second stage of construction of this thesis was to field research that served to supplement and clarify questions and doubts about the object of study, structured and semi-structured interview questionnaire being used and the third stage is configured in the definition of categories, from research field. This phase has been characterized by decomposing texts into units, reclassifying them for reunification and was performed in three steps: a preliminary analysis, which consisted of the organization of the material, the exploratory analysis, consisting of coding and classification, and finally the treatment of the results and interpretation, which focused on tabulation and application of descriptive and analytical techniques of data. The survey results indicated that the causes of illnesses in RME are related to: a) working conditions in its broad sense, indicating the existence of processes of intensification and casualization of teaching; b) policies for continuing education requirements with steep grades rating in the Index of Basic Education Development - IDEB; c) the existence of teacher malaise, corroborating the wear and low job satisfaction.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A água para o consumo humano: ensino por meio de temas com abordagem em ciência, tecnologia, sociedade e ambiente(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-05-02) RIBEIRO, Dayane Negrão Carvalho; ALMEIDA, Ana Cristina Pimentel Carneiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1265908866509687Water is a topic commonly treated in the teaching of science, but a resource availability scenario lacks discussions to training for citizenship through the recognition of scientific and technological issues surrounding access to the use and preservation of human life. In this scenario, this study sought to determine how the proposed theme "Water for Human Consumption" can influence the training for citizenship of elementary school students of a school of public schools in the city of Abaetetuba, generating in this context two thematic booklets on the proposal, namely: a thematic booklet for students and a booklet with activity suggestions for the teacher. The used theoretical foundation hás two sections. The first incorporates the approach in Science, Technology, Society and Environment and his notes to improve the teaching of science through teaching by theme based on three pedagogical moments of Delizoicov, Angotti and Pernambuco (2011), from the context of situations students in order to involve them actively in the search for solutions through diversified activities. In the second section I write about scientific knowledge related to water and its influence on the teaching of science. The research environment was formed through a short course, attended by eleven students of the sixth grade of elementary school as research subjects, as well as teacher-researcher. The action research was the methodological option chosen in this study to collect data, which are analyzed in light of the interpretative analysis of Creswell (2007). The data showed that the subject worked in the Science approach, Technology, Society and Environment enables students to recognize the problems of their reality, allowing its insertion in the search for solutions, and also shows the importance of working everyday reality, paying attention the difficulties of the students to express themselves orally and in writing. As for the teacher researcher, this study showed how reflective practice was important for the conduct of short course activities. Regarding the product of this work, the two primers for use in teaching-learning situation, I consider it possible that the treatment of the subject, because aroused the interest of students to continue the activities culminating in presentations to the school community. And yet, there was the drafting of a letter by students with proposals to solve specific problems that was sent to the school towards improving knowledge about the problems and possible solutions observed by students in their school environment, with regard to access to water for human consumptionItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Água: um estudo sobre as representações sociais de alunos do ensino fundamental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-08-19) IMBIRIBA, Teresa Elvina Florenzano; NAKAYAMA, Luiza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3771896759209007Since my academic career was based on a traditional way of teaching, in which I wasn’t stimulated to participate the classes, not showing my ideas and opinions, now as a teacher, I try to encourage my students to speak, enhancing their knowledge in the subject in focus and linking them to the information at school. Thus, guided by the idea of rescue/recover the knowledge that students perceive in their family and cultural environment, I drew this essay as a research about the social representations of water from 4th grade basic education students of the ‘Escola de Aplicação da Universidade Federal do Pará’, in the year of 2007. I have used the social representaion theory formulated by serge moscovici as theoretical and methodological support with the Central Core theory of Jean- Claude Abric. The methodology characterized by a qualitative and quantitative approach, had the techniques of data collection, the questionnaire, the free evocation from the word inducing water, supplemented by the interview. The research had as subjects 110 students from the 4th grade basic education, in the ages from nine to thirteen years old, in which 60 of those are girls. The result analysis revealed important aspects about the students and their answers and enabled me to identify that the content of the water’s social representation are associated to the following meanings and senses: 1) The water consumption in the every day habits of hygiene and food; 2) To the natural landscape, formed by water resources; 3) To the natural phenomena, as the rain and the tsunami; 4) To its values and importance as a source of life and health; 5) To the concrete attitudes and actions for the water treatment; 6) To the care and preservation of the natural water heritage; 7) To its symbolism: water as a worship, beauty and leisure object and 8) its characteristics. About the structure of the water’s social representation, the central core was constituted by the semantic categories: bath, drink, life, clean, river and rain and the peripheral system, by the categories: save, pollute, wash the food, waterfalls, make food, crystalline, entertainment, sea, peace, tsunami, useful, well and drop. The understanding of students answers about water, were essential to my thoughts about this subject and so now I can create new pedagogical practices based on the challenge of forming studentcitizens that recognize the need of using water in a sensible way as a finite resource which needs to be maintained and preserved.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alfabetização científica no 9° ano do ensino fundamental: produção artesanal de iogurte como tema de estudos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-05-06) SILVA, Denílson Elias Lima; PESSOA, Wilton Rabelo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0244057330247829; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9966-9585SILVA, D, E, L; Scientific Literacy in the 9th year of Elementary Education: Yogurt production as a subject of study, dissertation (master's). Institute of Mathematics and Science Teaching - Federal University of Pará, Belém, Pará. 2020. The following pages contain a qualitative case study planned and carried out to understand the assumptions, characteristics and evidence of Scientific Literacy in Elementary School Final Years. The study data were collected in a ninth-grade classroom (students aged 14 to 15 years) at a state public school in the city of Getúlio Vargas (Mocajubinha), located in the municipality of Terra Alta. The research data includes the recorded voice classes and the written works and / or activities produced by the students, in addition to all the didactic material provided to them during the classes. We started our research by reviewing the topic "Scientific Literacy through the production of artisanal yogurt" in the national and international literature on Didactics of Science through which we found information that allowed us to propose the structuring axes of Scientific Literacy. These axes are considered in our research for the analysis of the activities that make up a didactic sequence involving discussions in which the same topic is discussed taking into account scientific knowledge and technologies through local knowledge. The study of the specific bibliography of the area also led us to the proposition of indicators of Scientific Literacy: action and research skills that we deem necessary to be used when it is intended to build knowledge on any topic. The indicators are vital to the analysis we carry out as they can provide us with evidence of whether Scientific Literacy is in process among Elementary School Students Final Years observed in our research. After analyzing the didactic sequence, the oral arguments and the written work and / or experimental activities carried out by the students, we found quite substantial evidence that Scientific Literacy is in process for most of the students in the studied class.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise da percepção de alunos do ensino fundamental sobre o uso e a qualidade da água no município de Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) RÊGO, João Ricardo Souza do; LIMA, Aline Maria Meiguins de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6572852379381594This work has as main objective to analyze the perception of students of a college located in the Municipality of Belém, capital of the State of Pará, on the quality of water consumed daily, as well as to verify how this theme is approached in the school context, using the Critical analysis of the political pedagogical project of the college, physical, chemical and microbiological analysis of the water consumed and the application of the questionnaire to the students, being these students of disciplines related to the Environment theme. The number of interviewees consisted of 62 students from the 6th to the 9th year of elementary education in the morning and afternoon periods, during the first semester of 2016. The dissemination and discussion of the results obtained in the research took place in the Cultural Scientific Show of the school, through Of banners and workshops, games, experiments, videos, among other activities, where it was possible to verify students' understanding of the issue of quality and importance of water, problems related to water use in neighborhoods and alternatives Conservation of water resources. Comparing the students' answers on the subject, the results of the physical, chemical and microbiological analysis of the water consumed by these students, as well as the critical analysis of the PPP, it is possible to verify that the poor quality of the water indicated in the physical, Was perceived by the students. When questioned about water supply, a significant majority of the students pointed out the lack of water (47, 85.45%), as well as their poor quality when arriving at the residences (41; 74.55%). In addition, when asked about the fate of the city's water reservoir, most stated that it is basically for human consumption (37; 67.27%). It should be noted that the students associate the water quality with macroscopic aspects, such as presence of smell (29; 52.73%), mainly. By means of these results it was possible to determine the level of knowledge that the students have on the topic "quality of the water consumed", as well as to gather the necessary data to guide the goals of this work. Analyzing the school's Political Educational Project (PPP), it was possible to verify that educational strategies are established in the field of Environmental Education, as determined by educational guidelines. The data collected, based on the interview with the students, were determinant to associate goals that could correspond with the primary objective of the PPP, as well as to bring improvements outside the school scope with respect to the sustainable conduct in society. In this sense, it can be concluded that students have the perception of the importance of good quality water for the multiple human uses, as well as being able to identify which attitudes are detrimental to the maintenance of water quality. In summary, the study revealed that the students of the São Paulo College are aware of the problems related to the water quality of the municipality in which they live (Belém) and understand that they are also agents that cause these problems.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise praxeológica de conexões entre aritmética e álgebra no contexto do desenvolvimento profissional do professor de matemática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-11-16) PEREIRA, José Carlos de Souza; NUNES, José Messildo Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5188612973174798This study is an autobiographical narrative research that demonstrates the analysis of my praxeologies, in the context of my professional development, as a mathematics teacher. The focus of the analysis falls on the various praxeological conflicts I have faced in the classroom during the elaboration and application of an educational proposal for teaching polynomial operations to students in the 7th grade (1st year of junior high school). In this study my intention was to answer the following question: Which connections between arithmetic and algebra determined my praxeologies during the educational amplification I developed, to teach the addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of polynomials, in the 7th grade of fundamental education? In order to analyze my own praxeologies through the educational proposal I elaborated, I used the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic (ATD) of Yves Chevallard as the main theoretical reference. The analysis I made of my own praxeologies involved the system of decimal numeration, fundamental arithmetic operations, polynomial operations, types of tasks and techniques, the cognitive universe and praxeological equipment. The results show that my personal relations with types of ostensive and non ostensive object sand the types of tasks and techniques present or not in the educational proposal I elaborated, reveal which past and present praxeologies made up the different moments in my professional development as a mathematics teacher. In this sense, before graduation I lived the praxeologies of a lay teacher, during and after my specialization my cognitive universe went through praxeological conflicts, revealing that the institutional subjections shaped my praxeologies for teaching polynomial operations.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O aprendizado de regras matemáticas: uma pesquisa de inspiração wittgensteiniana com crianças da 4ª série no estudo da divisão(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-03-01) SILVA, Paulo Vilhena da; SILVEIRA, Marisa Rosâni Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3588315106445865In this study, we investigated the learning of mathematical rules in the context of the classroom, emphasizing, primarily, the discussions about language. Our main goal was to investigate the linguistic difficulties, faced by students during the learning of mathematical rules, in particular, the concept / division algorithm. To this end, we discuss, among other things, the theme "following rules" proposed by the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein in his Philosophical Investigations. Our work and our analysis were based primarily on this author, who discusses, among other themes, language and their meaning and foundations of mathematics, as well as the reflections of philosopher Gilles-Gaston Granger who analyzes the formal languages. We conducted a field survey that was developed at the “school of pedagogical application” of the Federal University of Pará, in a class of fourth grade. The lessons taught by the classroom teacher was observed and later the students were asked to solve division problems, verbal and nonverbal, followed by a brief interview in which we ask, among other issues, how students solve problems involving the division. In our analysis we highlight some students' difficulties, perceived in observations and in their written records or oral: some students, in its resolution strategies, invent new “mathematical rules". There are still those who "confuse" the contexts in solving verbal mathematical problems as well as the difficulty of understanding the problems that bring implicit information. Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Atividade de ensino de ciências: representação de alunos do ensino fundamental - NPI/UFPA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2005) MIRANDA, Ailton Lima; MAGALHÃES, Luiz Marconi Fortes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6032076996211936This study analyses social representations within the teaching of sciences to eighth elementary grade students, both males and females, at the Núcleo Pedagógico Intregrado/NPI - Escola de Aplicação de Educação Básica da Universidade Federal do Pará-Brasil. (Pedagogical Integrated Nucleus School of application Federal University of Pará - Brasil), years 2003/2004; it examines contents shared among students and it points to contributions from social representations to the process of teaching/learning of education for the sciences. The main source for the study is the theory of social representations, by Serge Moscovici (1961). Moscovici defines his theory as the set of concepts, propositions and explanations derived from every-day life and interpersonal communications. In our own society they are like myths and belief systems among traditional populations, or they may stay as a contemporary version for common sense. Furthermore, this research develops from the theory of the central nucleus as its is proposed by Abric and associates (1994) from there on: all elements in a representation are hierarchically ordered; they stay around a central nucleus based in one or several elements which give meaning to the representation. In order to build this research, informations were obtained from 119 students as members of four class groups, in the year 2004. A previous survey accurred. Its main goal was to identify their social representations as an answer to the question: Which are social representations about the ways for teaching/learning sciences within eighth grade students?. From that device it was possible to asses images and meanings related to the teaching/learning of sciences; the perception of natural/social environment comes out as a relevant one. Besides that, the understanding of the relationship between members of the whole takes human beings as a linking element. Social Representations (images and meanings) as they are perceived, suggest a set of positive and negative reactions that may help to improve classroom activities. Findings point to the possibility to reshape practical ways for community school actors like students and teachers as well. The author hopes the results of this research may be relevant to the improvement of goals for science education.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Atividades investigativas, como estratégia para o ensino-aprendizagem em ciências: propostas e aprendizagens(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-03-07) SOUZA, Simony Suely Paes de; NAKAYAMA, LuizaLeaving of the premise that "teaching it requires to know to learn and to know to construct (together with our pupils) the learnings that we search", I developed a proposal of investigation activities, for the teach-learning in Sciences. I stand out that to give differentiated lessons, nor always it would be or it is easy, therefore it has a content to be fulfilled and to be finished, beyond a very short time carrying through them. Thus, my dissertation is an inquiry of the qualitative type, that if configures as an researchaction, on the activities programmed at moments, with pupils of 7 series of the basic education of two schools of the particular net of education of the city of Belém (called here, School and School B), having as content programmarian the human body. In the school, emphasizing the digestive system, we had the following moments: the great snack; a video on the process of alimentary and mini-gincana digestion (test). Already in school B, with the content on the Locomotive System, the moments: hypothetical construction of the human body, from the contour of a model; the walked one until an Academy of Gynnastics of activities; lessons in square of the school, in set with the professor of Physical Ed.; e finally, the confection of a CD-ROM with all the subjects worked, during the school year. In both the schools, had the moment of the reading of didactic books. We conclude that learnings, from investigation activities, and that they take in account the experiences, the questionings and the contributions of the pupils, they are effective, independent of the subject who will be boarded and the Institution of Education (public or particular). However, we consider that this methodology of work will function if the professor: 1 - it will be made use to continue its studies and 2 - to share with its pupils the flavors and to know them, as well as the teachings and the learnings.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A auto-colonização infantil como pontecialidade para a formação humana(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-04) BOEMER, Júlia; CONDE, Soraya FranzoniThis article discusses the potential of the self-organization of children in the Campaigning School of the Landless Workers Movement (MST), considering the elements of the organization of pedagogical practice that contribute to this development. School located in the Maila Sabrina seminary, in the state of Paraná, and is based on the theoretical-practical principles of Soviet pedagogy. We select the category of analysis as self-organization, because we understand the basis of the emancipatory pedagogical process. We carry out bibliographic studies and school documents; semi-structured interviews with children, students, teachers; participation in the Sectoral Centers and in the meetings; support groups. We conclude that children still do not self-organize, but learn to develop skills, behaviors, values and habits of organization, based on socialist principles.Item Desconhecido Autoria da aula de língua portuguesa: o papel do professor como voz didática, locutor e instância de escuta do aluno(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-08-12) MORAES, Francineide Paiva; FAIRCHILD, Thomas Massao; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1771292039081039The present dissertation aims to investigate how the authorship-function assumed by Portuguese Language (PL) teachers as they produce their classes is constituted. To that end, this documental and ethnographic research was developedduring a bimester‟s time in a public school located in the city of Belém, Brazil, where we observed Portuguese classes taught to the sixth year of „Ensino Fundamental‟. Our corpus was assembled from teaching materials utilized by the teacher that collaborated to the research, activities solved by students and field log notes. Among those, we selected 33 discursive segments that were analyzed under the light of french Discourse Analysis. The discussion is based on Foucault (2001/1969), to whom the author-function may lead to the emergence of various subject-positions; on Orlandi (2007), to whom authorship implies a gesture by which an interpretable discourse is produced; and on Maingueneau (2008), who postulates the concepts of “discursive competence” and of “status of the enunciator and of the addressee” and “vocabulary” as discursive plans. These concepts, among some others, have contributed to interpret the discourses imprinted in the positions assumed by the collaborating teacher during her classes. Based on them, we analyze how the teacher plays the roles of didactic voice, acting as a mediator between students and knowledge; of speaker, in the interactions with the students, creating the necessary conditions for knowledge to be developed in class; and of a listening stance, trying to probe their difficulties and act upon them. The results indicate that the teacher, although listening to students in such a way that sometimes, is not realized completely, assumes the authorship-function by filtering or selecting what may or may not become part of her classes and by translating the enunciate of the other into her discourse, thus producing classes that have their own logic, in order to promote the teaching-learning process of the students.Item Desconhecido Avaliação da aprendizagem em língua inglesa no primeiro ano do ensino fundamental em escolas públicas do município de Castanhal (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-06-27) BARBOSA, Emília Gomes; CUNHA, Myriam Crestian Chaves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0057919162522146This study investigates the assessment practices in the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language to Young Learners (LEC) in the first year of primary education in public schools in the city of Castanhal, PA. The research analyze which guidelines are contained in official municipal documents with regards to teaching and assessment in LEC, to describe the assessment practices developed by teachers in this context, to analyze the integration of these practices with LEC's teaching and learning goals, and to indicate pointers to make the assessment of learning practices more effective, theoretically and methodologically. To achieve the proposed objectives, a qualitative documentary study was conducted. We analyzed the official documents that guide teaching and assessment in LEC, 220 student development reports, which are recommended assessment tool for this school level, as well as interviews and questionnaires given to 14 teachers working in this context. The theoretical framework is based on the contributions of Cameron (2001), Strecht-Ribeiro (2005) and Scott and Ytreberg (1990) regarding the teaching and learning of LEC, as well as the discussion of some aspects of assessment of learning (HADJI, 1994, 2007; BONNIOL; VIAL, 2001; FERNANDES, 2009; PERRENOUD, 1999) and assessment of learning in LEC (MCKAY, 2006; IOANNOU-GEORGIOU 2011; SHAABAN, 2001). For data analysis, we used the Content Analysis technique (ROSA, 2013). The analysis results indicate a lack of coherence between the assessment practices and the teaching goals and principles in LEC. The data also reveal a lack of training for teaching, assessing and designing syllabus in LEC, combined with a known tendency to prioritize structural aspects in the teaching of foreign languages, instead of communicative activities. Finally, this study shows the need to promote other studies that investigate the assessment practices used in LEC, as well as the urgency to define official national guidelines for teaching and assessment that take into account the characteristics and needs of the children within this context.Item Desconhecido Avaliação da compreensão escrita de alunos surdos do ensino fundamental maior(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-09-26) CARVALHO, Márcia Monteiro; CUNHA, Myriam Crestian Chaves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0057919162522146Item Desconhecido Caminhos feitos de água, conhecimento e cidadania: educação em ciências numa escola ribeirinha(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-12-19) SILVEIRA, Mara Rubia Ribeiro Diniz; GONÇALVES, Terezinha Valim Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0496932429575513This work tells the practical research developed on the pedagogical one of education in sciences lived and constructed together with operating educators in the basic education of the School They are São José of a riverside, situated community in the Ilha Grande in the city of Belém. It investigates the curricular planning of the riverbank agricultural school of the villages which the main economic activity is timber, called "Ivo Mainardi" of the municipal educational system of Breves, establishing a relationship with what praises of quality defined by the Operational Guidelines for the Basic Education in Schools located in the countryside, with focus on identities and knowledge of the riverbank agricultural Marajà Amazon. In the investigation method documentary analysis was used, the half structured interview and the photograph with the perspective to make possible to the reader a better understanding on the riverbank agricultural Amazon. The history of Breves has begun in the Colonial Period, with the arrival of the Portuguese to the place, its population is made of riverbank people, many of these inhabit in small communities, towns and villages which the main economic activity is timber. In these communities the education is promoted considering the demand of the company workersâ children who are attracted by the timber company job-offer and the school. Although they live in a context where the material production is related to the exploitation of timber, the school curriculum does not deal with this issue, they are from what is praised by the Operational Guidelines for the Basic Education in Schools located in the countryside, which establishes as quality principle the ecology and the sustainability. Besides this point the curricular planning, although it counts on the participation of the riverbank agricultural educators in its elaboration still does not express the knowledge, the culture, and the identity of the Marajo riverbank population of the Mainardi Village. Thus, the challenge placed to the managers, the social citizens and the educators is to see the commitment with an education that constructs and cultivates identities, values, collective memory and heads towards the valuation and respect of the peoples that live in the Marajà agricultural and riverbank Amazon of Breves.
