Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aspectos epistemológicos da ciência da informação: a transcendência da teoria crítica de habermas e os paradigmas da ciência da informação(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-06) CASTRO, Jetur Lima de; SILVA, Luiz Eduardo Ferreira daThis research aims to understand the paradigms of Information Science (IS) through the critical theory of Jürgen Habermas, searching through the interpretative signs some clues to the epistemological uncertainties of these paradigms from a historical-hermeneutic point of view. The objective of this study is to investigate the paradigms of IS identified by Capurro under the historical-hermeneutic perspective and the dialogue with the critical theory of Habermas in order to offer a more critical perception of these paradigms. In the methodological approach we reviewed the theoretical research, with the aid of the bibliographic basis hermeneutics. The results show that within the paradigms of information, the emancipatory studies can be employed through a communicative action. Finally, we must think in the grounds taken as true in IS and Librarianship in a way to think of a necessary reform to rebuild the settled paradigms of IS.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Concepções de ciência dos professores da área da saúde e as dinâmicas curriculares de formação profissional da Universidade do Estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-26) RAIOL, Alessandra Nepomuceno; PAIXÃO, Carlos Jorge; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5926523492011056This paper investigates the concepts of science of the teachers and the curriculum dynamics of professional training in health of the University of Pará State. It is an epistemological study, i.e., it performs a critical study of science regarding it as product and process, in order to analyze critically the injunctions of scientific knowledge to society. The problem is summarized in the question: How do the professors' conceptions of science interfere with the new dynamics of vocational training curricula in health? It is a qualitative descriptive research, relies on Gamboa Paradigm, construction template of knowledge for educational research and is based on the materialist dialectic that guides their synthesis in the movement of the struggle of opposites in the context of society. The methodological procedures used were bibliographical and documentary research. To this end, we anchor our studies of science in theoretical as Bachelard (1996), Thomas Kuhn (1998), Japiassú (2006), Boaventura de Souza Santos (1998) and Edgar Morin (2002, 2010). Regarding the curriculum studies, we rely on the contributions of Thomas Tadeu (2005) and Goodson (2012), which point new outlets, advances and possibilities for the school and the curriculum, as these fields of knowledge are interwoven with epistemology and the historical-social context, besides Moreira; Silva (2006) and Sancristán (2000) students of curriculum theory and its relation to culture, politics and ideology. And we still use curricular authors who discuss the issue in health such as Maia (2014), Mattos (2004, 2011), among others. As a result, we identified that the Cartesian paradigm permeates the concept of science of the teachers. However they realize the existence of the new paradigm of complexity and completeness, both in the context of science as in the context of health education. This coexistence of paradigms hinders how teachers understand the concepts related to the profession restructuring, while providing recognize the new curriculum dynamics as possibility to contribute to training more in line with the needs of society, then a professional more critical of its performance and its context. An education that integrates science, culture and technology. Finally, as factors that may contribute to the understanding, and for the teachers involvement in these dynamics, we noted the continuous assessment, the continuing education guided by discussions of epistemology and the new science paradigms as essential elements to the teaching practice, the collective construction of Pedagogical Project, the institutional support, the overcoming of simplistic visions and the teaching individualism.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Fundamentos epistemológicos da educação socioambiental(Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso, 2022-04) LUZ, Priscyla Cristinny Santiago da; SILVA, Maria de Fátima Vilhena daThis article aims to present the epistemological foundations of Socio-Environmental Education from a theoretical study carried out with a view to the assumptions that guided Environmental Education from the 1970s. This is, in this sense, a bibliographical research carried out in books, documents, articles and periodicals, in which it was questioned: the guidelines that have guided environmental education in recent years indicate which epistemological relationships of socio-environmental education?.Data analysis was performed using the technique of content analysis, with the aim of generating interpretations, inferences and categories that unveiled epistemological elements of socio environmental education. The compiled material was structured in three pillars (categories): a) nature and society relationship; b) environment and heritage relationship; c) environment and citizenship relationship. These categories were mainly supported by the Complexity of Knowledge Theory, from the point of view of Edgar Morin (2007, 2010), Morin, Ciurana and Motta (2009); in the Environmental Complexity proposed by Enrique Leff (2003) and in the discussion about interdisciplinarity based on the conceptions of Silva (2009) and Fazenda (2011). It is concluded, therefore, that the epistemological bases of socio-environmental education evidenced by the research align dialogues and conceptions of knowledge for understanding and acting on socio-environmental issues in a complex, interdisciplinary way and make it possible to design/articulate practices educational transformative.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Imersão virtual no movimento de mulheres das ilhas de Belém, Pará, Brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-09) GUERRA, Gutemberg Armando Diniz; MESQUITA, OsvaldoThe aim of this article is to describe the methodological process of monitoring the Belem Islands Women's Movement - MMIB, originally from May 24 to December 30, 2016, and later with updates until 2019, through the group of WhatsApp created by the leaderships, and other virtual instruments that served as source of information for the elaboration of a Master's thesis. As one of the communication tools among the members of the organization was WhatsApp, it was requested that researchers could be allowed to join the group, since it would allow them to be aware of all their activities. Besides the virtual communication, frequent visits were made throughout the year 2016, particularly during collaborative efforts (grouping), meetings, project activities, festive activities and visits for interviews with members of the organization. It is concluded by the enormous importance of this daily means of communication that allows a visualization of the relationship between group members and their sympathizers, performing as an element of utility with wide possibilities of communication, registration and immersion in the research environment.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Iniciação científica na Amazônia: bases históricas e epistemológicas dos clubes de ciências de Abaetetuba- PA e Moju- PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-05-23) CAJUEIRO, Dayanne Dailla da Silva; GONÇALVES, Terezinha Valim Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0496932429575513; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8285-3274Scientific initiation, scientific dissemination, scientific culture, science fairs, initial and continuing education for teaching... These are some of the actions that have been developed by Science Clubs in Pará. The first Science Club emerged in mid-1979 in the state, called Science Club of the Federal University of Pará - CCIUFPA and since then its actions have contributed to the dissemination of several other spaces in neighboring municipalities and in distant regions of the state that have been consolidated with personality and identity, therefore, although the actions move towards the same objective, which is the scientific initiation of professors and students, these Clubs were encouraged to develop and constitute themselves based on the demand of their public and community, which makes them unique within their operating context. In this research, focus is given to the historical and epistemological bases of the scientific initiation of the Science Clubs of Abaetetuba-PA and Moju-PA. In this direction, the research problem is expressed: "in what terms are the activities of Science Clubs in the immediate geographic region of Abaetetuba-PA configured, in view of the historical-epistemological bases of scientific initiation developed by them?", and how objective: to investigate the epistemological historical bases of the scientific initiation activities of these spaces mentioned there, from the investigated histories from its foundation to the present day. In this perspective, I defend the thesis that the Science Clubs of Moju-PA and Abaetetuba-PA build and develop pedagogical practices in line with the demands of contemporaneity, whose historical, theoretical-methodological and epistemological aspects of scientific initiation are predominantly located in the development cultural center focused on the ScienceKnowledge-Society trilogy, contributing to the formation of critical and responsible citizenship for students and the professional development of teachers. For this, I adopt qualitative research in the narrative modality, where life experiences of students, teachers, coordinators and collaborators of these spaces are intertwined in information documented in scientific works and internal records (from minutes of meetings, scientific initiation projects, histories, among others. others.) constituting oral and written narratives. In this sense, for the analysis of the information, I adopt the discursive textual analysis and in this way, the raised narratives were constituted in field texts that from new and other interpretations form this metatext. From this analysis, I build three emerging axes: i) “TAKING FORWARD THE AFFLUENTS: consolidation of the Science Clubs of MojuPA and Abaetetuba-PA”; ii) “THIS RIVER IRRIGUATED CULTURE: dissemination and popularization of Science”; iii) “THE WATERS CHANGE: different contexts of scientific initiation in basic education through the Science Clubs of Abaetetuba and Moju for the 21st century”; The results show that the Science Clubs of Moju-PA and Abaetetuba-PA build and develop pedagogical practices according to contemporary demands, where the historical aspects of scientific initiation are located in cultural, educational, technological and Science development, thus contributing way, for the critical formation of the citizen and for the teaching professionalization. In this way, I conclude that studying scientific initiation in Science Clubs, through narratives, is to retake the experience, relive stories lived and told by those who look at Science and its teaching with new perspectives for basic education, thus recounting the history of Science in the educational scope projecting new perspectives for the formation of the citizen of this century in the context of Pará and in the country.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) O ofício de benzer como produção de conhecimento: etnografando práticas de benzeção do município de Tracuateua – PA – Amazônia – Brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-08-31) CASTRO, Rita de Cássia de Quadros; VILLACORTA, Gisela Macambira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4673875521234184The craft of blessing consists of a cultural practice of popular knowledge in the Municipality of Tracuateua/ PA related to religious healing. Besides its intrinsic spiritual aspects, blessing is an important source of knowledge production for that community, despite the devaluation of its practice in relation to scientific knowledge. On regard to this theme, this work aimed, through an ethnographic study, to analyze the epistemology of blessing, from popular knowledge and healing practices, based on the concept of education of attention proposed by Tim Ingold. We seek to report the impacts of the overlapping of scientific knowledge over other knowledge, to identify the reasons for the devaluation of blessing practices and to signal the importance of dialogues between knowledges and the valorization of knowledge, regardless of its origin. From this epistemological analysis, we aim to subsidize public policies for the valorization of knowledge and cultural practices.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Pensar a comunicação, repensar a moda(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-03-30) VASCONCELOS NETO, Dilermando Gadelha de; LIMA, Regina Lúcia Alves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8158415442871989This work address the interface between fashion and communication studies. We use the concept of interface developed by Braga (2004), which considers it as a cooperation among fields of knowledge that goes beyond the subordination of the assumptions of a field to the other, or the creation of a new field based on the assumptions of more consolidated fields. The interface concept presupposes that disciplines uses their assumptions to address specific research questions. To investigate the interface between the two fields of knowledge, we use the foucaltian archeology method (FOUCAULT, 2013a) and the “theoretical model of apprehension” of the communication process proposed in França (2001). In this context, we do the archeology of the fashion and communication discursive domain, seeking to perceive how they build their objects, concepts, themes and theories; besides of perceiving, specifically on the communication domain, the construction of the gaze directed to the communication process in the various historical moments of the filed development. Considering the recurrence of a concern with relation/interaction that is established among subjects and groups in the fashion studies, we utilize the assumptions of the relational model of communication (QUÉRÉ, 1991; FRANÇA, 2003) aiming to develop the interface between fashion and communication studies. We use two statements that immerge in the Pará’s scenario, whose analysis bases our research.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) The development of an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for Trypanosoma vivax antibodies and its use in epidemiological surveys(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-11) MADRUGA, Cláudio Roberto; ARAÚJO, Flábio Ribeiro de; CAVALCANTE, Gustavo Góes; MARTINS, Charles Ferreira; BARBOSA, Imke Barbara Pfeifer; RIBEIRO, Laura Rios; KESSLER, Raul Henrique; SOARES, Cleber Oliveira; MIGUITA, Midori; MELO, Elaine Silva de Pádua; ALMEIDA, Robson Ferreira Cavalcante de; LIMA JUNIOR, Manoel Sebastião da CostaThere are data indicating that the distribution of Trypanosoma vivax in the Brazilian territory is expanding with potential to reach other areas, where the vectors are present. The detection of anti-trypanosomal antibodies in serum provides important information of the trypanosomal status in cattle herds. For this reason, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (Tv-ELISA-Ab) with crude antigen from one Brazilian isolate of T. vivax was developed and evaluated. The sensitivity and specificity were respectively 97.6 and 96.9%. In the evaluation of cross-reactions, three calves inoculated with T. evansi trypimastigotes blood forms showed optical densities (OD) under the cut-off during the whole experimental period, except one at 45 days post-inoculation. With relation to Babesia bovis, B. bigemina, and Anaplasma marginale, which are endemic hemoparasites in the studied area, the cross-reactions were shown to be 5.7, 5.3, and 1.1%, respectively. The first serological survey of Pantanal and state of Pará showed that T. vivax is widespread, although regions within both areas had significantly different prevalences. Therefore, this Tv-ELISA-Ab may be a more appropriate test for epidemiological studies in developing countries because the diagnostic laboratories in most countries may be able to perform an ELISA, which is not true for polymerase chain reaction.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Trajetória de consolidação na produção científica do Pesquisador sênior(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016) COSTA, Renato Pinheiro da; CORRÊA, Paulo Sérgio de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7102416953096612This study aimed to understand the consolidation trajectories of the careers of senior researchers from the National Scientific and Technological Development Council - CNPq linked to the education sector as well as the interests that mobilize in scientific production. The specific objectives were: To analyze under what circumstances occur the production of researchers in the scientific context; identify the bonds of institutional guidelines CNPQ incentive policy and fostering research in the country; understand how scientific knowledge has been produced together with the development of the interests of researchers in the field of education and policies of development institutions; reflect on the career and productivity of senior category researchers Education Area. The study is based on documentary and bibliographical research, with the theoretical framework Jürgen Habermas and his discussion on the theory of knowledge and interest; still scrutinizes historical sources of theses, dissertations, books, scientific articles published in journals, proceedings and events and Lattes of researchers senior presenting the operational structure of the agencies for research. As is historically built the career of the researcher especially the education area linked to CNPq? What are the interests involved in the constitution of the senior research career? What are the prevailing epistemological basis in scientific production of the education sector researchers with this profile? The senior is the reference in the development of research and scientific productivity according to the Normative Resolutions of the CNPq? How delineation of a historical time research is developed in the period between the years 2006 to 2016. It is presented as a thesis the argument that the scientific productions of senior researchers are forged through appropriations epistemological, ideological and political order, developed in context of modernity which introduces the formation of the subject from relationships with society and its institutions, leaving telltale traces of their profiles related to the training course, the fluctuation in the linearity of the literature they produce, the choice of the type of publication of the result of his research, which shows that the knowledge they produce is only developed by interests. It was concluded that the research career has been built historicallybetween the introduction of political projects of the State through the funding agencies and related institutions that structure, to promote science and technology and the establishment and organization of a community around the development of the scientific field, making institutional structures as researchers classification were created in order to promote the recognition of the intensive work of those engaged in the promotion of scientific knowledge, as in the case of researchers from senior mode.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Um estudo crítico das psicoterapias fenomenológico - existenciais: terapia centrada na pessoa e gestalt-terapia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-06-01) BEZERRA, Márcia Elena Soares; PIMENTEL, Adelma do Socorro Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4534230240595626This study consists on a theoretical research which aims to develop critical reflections on the epistemological bases of the person centered therapy and of the gestalttherapy configured in the conceptual matrices elaborated by Carl Rogers and by Frederick Perls. It analyzes some psychotherapies' theoretical new configurations proposed by Brazilian authors, starting from the articulation with Martin Heidegger's certain phenomenology concepts. The psychotherapeutic theories, in general, still maintain a conception of abstract existence out of the historical context. The world today puts us before great challenges, so it is necessary new ways of understanding the human existence and a clinical labor which gives support to the contemporary man's sufferings. The methodological path used in the study consists of: 1. Selection of classic texts to compose the epistemological matrices of the person centered therapy and gestalt; 2. selection of material produced by authors that present critical analysis regarding the theme; 3. systemization of conceptual categories of the matrix of the respective psychotherapies; 4. analysis and discussion of some present themes in national publications which indicate points of new configurations of the matrices. Among the indicatives pointed by the investigated authors, it was possible to highlight: the need to include the stranger, the lack, in the person centered therapy as condition of possibility of the existence; overcoming the essence concept in the gestalt therapy; Heidegger's anguish concept resonances for the clinical practice, since that is not understood as a psychopathological symptom to be extinct or a functional disturbance; the opening and care concepts as well which make possible to think the therapeutic function as an aid to the customer to interpret himself, returning to his own care in a free and responsible way. We have come to the conclusion that although more studies regarding the theme are needed, there is already, at the present time, a movement on the part of some psychologists in throwing a contemporary glance on the person centered therapy and gestalt, standing away from an essencialist conception of subject and of a cloistered subjectivity.
