    A Braz é (e) quem ‘a faz’: paisagens de poder, experiências e apropriações na avenida Braz de Aguiar, em Belém (PA), Amazônia

    In this research, I observe some subjects' experiences on Avenida Braz de Aguiar, in the neighborhood of Nazaré, which is considered destined for the middle bands of Belém do Pará, Amazon. Taking into account that landscapes are procedural constructions (SANSOT, 1983; SILVEIRA, 2004; ECKERT, 2009; ECKERT and ROCHA, 2013), I paid attention mainly to the establishment of “power landscapes” (ZUKIN, 1996), which are attractions and / or are consistent with the subjects' practices. Such powers, especially the economic one, are expressed by habitus (BOURDIEU, 1983), perceptible throughout Ethnography of Street (ECKERT and ROCHA, 2013) and Ethnography of Duration (ECKERT and ROCHA, 2013). At the street, services were and still are aimed for financially privileged layer of the city, with greater purchasing power and status, something fundamental in building and maintaining a certain “distinction” in the context of Belen. Braz, then, becomes a “socially hierarchical geographic space” (BOURDIEU, 2007), in which leisure (VEBLEN, 1965) seems to be more achievable, but not for everyone. Together, this points out to the establishment of specific processes of sociability and sociation (SIMMEL, 1983) in the urban world of Belen, in which it is also necessary to discuss the “aristocratic” way in which some individuals adhere/(re)create such contemporary urban physiognomy and how the avenue is referred to and represented on social media.

    Círio de Nazaré: experiências de sentidos e sociabilidades por meio da cultura material

    This research aims to reflect on the role of objects in the constitution of communicational processes in the Círio de Nazaré, considering the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the consumption and sociability practices of the participants amid the suspension of processions and face-to-face events in the religious/cultural event in honor of Our Lady of Nazaré, held annually in the city of Belém, Pará, during the month of October. Addressing the relational perspective of communication, it was intended to trigger the subjects' experiences in years prior to the pandemic and compare them with the one experienced in 2020, to understand how material culture and consumption help to understand the main relationships that these participants develop with the Círio, among themselves (sociabilities) and with materialities. The methodological procedures include the elaboration of questionnaires and the realization of online observations with netnographic inspirations, as well as the recovery of participant observations carried out in previous research on the Círio. Based on the analyzed experiences, it is considered that the objects are (i)material elements of the Círio, constituting the subjects and their social practices by presenting absences that integrate the communicational processes of the empirical phenomenon studied.

    Concepções de matemática e se seu ensino: experiências e reflexões de professores formadores de professores em um curso de licenciatura de proposta integrada e interdisciplinar

    In this research, we aim to understand the relations of direction and meaning between conceptions of Mathematics and teaching of Mathematics manifested by teachers that train others teachers, involved in an interdisciplinary proposal to train future teachers for the initial years of Elementary Education and Youth and Adult Education, as they reflect on their training, research and teaching practices. We built the question that orientates the investigation: In what terms, teacher-training teachers, involved in an integrated and interdisciplinary training proposal, express conceptions about Mathematics and its teaching, when reporting on their training experiences and when performing their teaching practices? The trajectory we followed was oriented from the qualitative research, whose option was by a collective study of cases in a theoretical multirefencial approach. We selected 05 (five) teacher-training teachers who teach in a degree course offered by the Institute of Mathematical and Scientific Education, belonging to the Federal University of Pará, whose beginning of the teaching activities occurred in 2010, characterizing itself as a new and unique course in Brazil, of an interdisciplinary proposal and integrated in the training of teachers for the initial educational years and Youth and Adult Education, denominated Integrated Degree in Education in Sciences, Mathematics and Languages. The instruments used to collect the information were: interviews, video recordings of classes and theses and / or dissertations written by the participants of this research. For an analysis of the information, we used Textual Discursive and chose to execute a mixed categorization. Practices and the reports of the teacher-training teachers configure as important elements to understand their conceptions of Mathematics and its teaching, as well as these conceptions are related with new pedagogical modes of action. The manifested conceptions are relative to Mathematics as a knowledge of human construction and, therefore, changeable and fallible. As for teaching, they show that for teaching, knowledge of Mathematics content is indispensable, and articulation with others areas of knowledge can be possible through dialogue, partnership and collaboration. Teachers give indications on which they move in the direction of changes of conceptions and practices, demonstrating that they are in the process of constructing the understanding of the proposal of the Integrated Licentiate course, in terms of the development of interdisciplinary practices and the restlessness that moves them to beyond the boundaries of its field of knowledge. Thus, indicating that they are in the process of overcoming the paradigms from which they were formed.

    De professores civis a oficiais militares: experiências sociais de militares temporários para o magistério na Força Aérea Brasileira (2011-2019)

    This dissertation analyzes the temporary hiring process of teachers as Military Officers, considering the demands related to basic education in a militarized structure. The objective is to understand the process of training and performance of temporary military officers summoned to the teaching staff (teaching and pedagogy) of the Brazilian Air Force - FAB, between the years 2011 and 2019, at Colégio Tenente Rêgo Barros (CTRB). Therefore, it is relevant to understand the daily training of these temporary officers, “the swabs” and the dynamics of a “military spirit” whose scope was determined by internal social relations. The hypotheses raised are that the various experiences of social subjects, men and women who worked in this area, permeated through strangeness, resistance, mediation, conflicts that begin from the selection process to the performance in the CTRB. With regard to the sources, the relevance of orality is highlighted based on the use of the technique of interviews, authorized and recorded through google meet, made with the temporary Officers, their memories and forgetfulness, as well as official documents, newspapers, magazines and photographs. We will seek to understand the entry process of civilian teachers in 2011 who became temporary military and are professionals in the area of Teaching and Pedagogy, considering the demands aimed at teaching in a welfare school and the profile of the professionals who sought to reach summoned and formed for a temporary “career” in the Brazilian Air Force-FAB, the so-called 2nd class Reserve Officers Squad Convocados - QOCON.

    Entre cientistas, pesquisadores, professores e experimentos: compreendendo compreensões de experiências formativas no ensino de ciências

    This research emerges from a question raised by me about what is Science in a formative process that still extends. I do not intend to answer what is Science in this work, but understand understandings of the formative aspects that elucidate the formation of teachers who make Science while teaching Sciences. Therefore, I adopt qualitative research in an action-research process by which, when forming it, I form, by making them reflect I also reflect, by making them signify I (re) signify. This research process took place at the UFPA Science Club (CCIUFPA), a non-formal teaching space with a "pedagogical laboratory" profile. It was in this pedagogical laboratory that I tested hypotheses, experimented experiences, and assumed roles of researcher, teacher, and scientist in a movement of (re) signification of experiences through other new experiences. To develop the research, I followed a group of future chemistry and biology teachers who work at CCIUFPA as trainee teachers in 8th and 9th year of elementary school. The follow-up took place in the process of assisted pre-emptive practice and in partnership, in which I assume the role of teacher-mentor in lessons planning. That way I encourage the process of reflection-action on the experiences lived at CCIUFPA, at the same time, in which I reflect on the formative process through students when building data that guide me in this perspective. In this direction, I also evidence the process of signification of deformed visions of Science to the detriment of its propagation. To this end, I adopt techniques that make possible the reflexive process of participants, I use theorists of the area who make notes about devices that enable the understanding of such experiences. To analyze such data I use the discursive textual analysis. The results show that trainee teachers (re) signify their formative experiences in teaching science in an investigative process that excludes deformed and naive visions propagated by the formal school and the media. In experiencing such a process I also (re) signify my vision of Science and my formation in a movement to understand such understandings. They touch me, modify me, move me, make me who I am, which makes me reflect that such analyzes about understandings can contribute to the formation of teachers enabling them to do Science by teaching Science to their students.

    Lutas e experiências dos assentados Serra Dourada / Goiás- GO

    The theme of this article focuses on the experiences, struggles and knowledge of different social subjects that make up the Settlement Project Serra Dourada in the city of Goiás / GO. The research took place starting from 2000, the time of the settlement foundation until 2007, through the reading of selected topics on the daily lives of settlers. We use the Minutes of Meetings to analyze the practices, culture and you live these subjects in the field. The question was to understand the collective experiences in the settlement. In this sense, the goals that guided the research were: seize the day to day of the settlers in the field; reflect on the form of organization within the association; analyze the practices and tactics in groups.

    Sexualidades dissidentes em prosa: as representações das homossexualidades masculinas e das travestis na década de 1970 nos jornais de Belém/PA

    The civil-military coup took place in 1964, and it would last until mid-1985, the year which would mark the beginning of a series of social, political, cultural and economic changes. During this period, more specifically in the 70's, homosexuality would rise to a prominent place, not only in Brazil but in the entire world. The gay power movement and the Sexual Revolution would bring to light an entire generation which was tired of hiding and denying its own desires. In this context, Belém was also a stage for great changes. The "Mainstream Media" supported the military regime and all of its "morality". On the other hand, however, Belém's youth was breaking free from its shackles and looking for ways to have their voice heard by society, either through attempts to organize themselves politically or through spaces of sociability. Homosexuality and transvestites were not invisible and these subjects were not willing to remain on the margins of society. With that said, this work seeks to comprehend what was the place of Gay Men and Transvestites in this society going through so many transformations and how these people were portrayed in the journalistic discourses about dissident sexualities made by the mainstream media (A Província do Pará, Folha do Norte/Folha Vespertina e O Liberal) in the 70's. For this, in addition to the newspapers, I conducted interviews with interlocutors who lived the period and all these changes mentioned, broadening my understanding of the dynamics of the period, the sociability, the spaces, the social political movement, the daily practices, behaviors and representations related to homosexuals and transvestites.
