(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-04-30) KAHWAGE, Nathália Lima; LAGE, Danila Gentil Rodriguez Cal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4593992869253877
Female underrepresentation and marginalization in formal politics are recurrent findings in research and studies in a number of countries, including Brazil, which indicate a power relationship based on male domination over women and structured by the sexual division of labor. However, these data reveal only one side of the power commonly associated with the exercise of government, but which, in this research, is analyzed under other nuances: empowerment, resistance and solidarity. The attempt to silence the public voice of women in public spaces and the use of stereotypes in political careers enables elected women to reassign the exercise of political activity in less conventional communicational environments such as digital media. Our problem, in this research, is to investigate, through the videos of Facebook of the aldermen of Belem and Manaus, how the power relations (power over, power to and power with) act in the configuration of the discursive representation of the parliamentarians in an environment in which they have mastery of their own discourse, resorting to, denying or re-signifying stereotypes. In order to do so, we analyzed a corpus of 210 videos posted in social profiles and fanpages of the city councilors of Belém, Marinor Brito (PSOL), Simone Kahwage (PRB) and Blenda Quaresma (MDB), and in the City Hall of Manaus, Glória Carratte (PRP), Joana D'arc (PR), Professor Jacqueline (PHS) and Professor Therezinha (Democrats), from August 4, 2015 to March 8, 2018. The data were submitted to content analysis from 13 categories, such as: general information; video format; video function; authorship projects; where is the councilwoman; current municipal administration; current state administration; central theme; political party; stereotypes (major and minor); power relations (main and secondary). In addition to the presentation of general quantitative data of the findings in these categories, we conducted specific discussions about the bibliographic referent involving political representation, gender and communication.

“Bandido bom é bandido morto”? análise do discurso crítica aplicada a reações sobre chacinas publicadas pelo jornal Diário Online em sua página no Facebook
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06) LEITE, Vivianne Carolina Oliveira de Sousa; ALENCAR, Breno Rodrigo de Oliveira
This paper presents the results of research on the reactions of Internet users to the news of violence on social networks, in particular those related to the massacres of Belém (2014), Tapanã (2018) and Guamá (2019) that took place in the city of Belém and published by the newspaper Diário Online (DOL) on its Facebook page. Through it, we seek to identify patterns of reaction to headlines; analyze the intentionality of the headlines in the Diário Online newspaper; and interpret the social meanings around reactions of users of social networks on the phenomenon of urban violence in the city of Belém. To achieve these goals, we used Critical Discourse Analysis as a methodology for analyzing Internet users' reactions to the headlines about massacres published by the Diário Online newspaper on their Facebook page between the years 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-01-30) PANTOJA, Bruno Amorim; BASTOS, Carlos Augusto de Castro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5957760591235451
The dissertation proposes to discuss the relationship between the teaching of history and the New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC),since it is a reality the dissemination of technologies in the so-called information society, where the internet, and especially social networks, as well as "old" technologies such as TV and radio, generate a bombardment of information and with the interlocution of teachers, these technologies can be allied in the process of teaching and learning, generating an interaction in the classes and an interest in the content taught. The thematic clipping of the research work will be done with the use of Facebook as a pedagogical resource in teaching history to two classes of elementary school in a private school in Belém do Pará. The intention will be to understand if these tools can help the teacher of History, and thus demonstrate that this tool, through the intermediary of the educator can dynamize the process of teaching and learning, leaving lessons more interesting for students and energizing the process of building historical knowledge. For this to be possible, a methodology called Investigative Thematic Unit or also known as workshop class will be used, where several steps are followed in the construction of historical knowledge with students, where the first step is to investigate the students' previous knowledge. The product to be generated will be a closed group, in the social network Facebook, that will function as a repository of videos, images, texts, historical Memes and etc. In addition, it will be a space for debates and discussions about images, gifs, videos, exercises and tests questions, all this, posted by the teacher, referring to the subjects chosen by the students, which will be contained in the curriculum of the class, in the case of the ninth year of Elementary Education.

(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-09-14) BARROS, Diego Bil Silva; FURTADO, Cassia Cordeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0332630687796918
The study addresses the use of social networks as tools for mediation of information, enabling the interaction and participation of users in this process and highlighting the ways in which users engage more in Facebook of the UFPA Central Library. With the advancement of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the development of virtual spaces, University Libraries (BU's) - as well as libraries in general - have undergone a process of resignification in the face of this new context. This means that the new possibilities of mediated information emerged through a more dynamic, interactive and connected process - since cyberspace allowed the migration of information flows to digital environments. In addition, it reports how information mediation issues can be important for the development of the Information Society, in relation to social, cultural, scientific-educational and informational aspects. Thus, among the contributions of the new technologies, the emergence of the web, computers and the Internet as tools that have propelled the information mediation process, enabling the development of a more egalitarian, informed society capable of disseminating knowledge that will reach future generations. In turn, the research is characterized as descriptive, obtaining as a guideline a unique case study, with quantitative-qualitative and experimental nature. In addition, as for the data collection and analysis procedure, the study is directed through the categorization of publications in the Facebook fanpage of the UFPA Central Library, the analytical metrics of postings and the analysis of content of the interactions and interlocutions of the users with the page . The research sample is comprised in the periods from January to June 2018, with the possibility of including isolated samples from other periods of action for discussion purposes and study results. As a result, the study describes, in a descriptive way, the publications made within the delimited period, showing which types of actions most generate interactions in the information mediation process, as well as exposing users' conversations in comments, Messenger, Checkin and evaluations. In general, some samples, such as those of categories F, Q, P and S, showed a higher index of interaction and efficiency, however, it was found that the other publications presented and the interactions observed in the interlocutions are also within acceptable range, effectiveness and consistency. Finally, it was concluded that, in addition to recognizing the importance of the use of Facebook in libraries, it is necessary that there be actions aimed at understanding the importance of knowing the efficiency parameters of these activities, such as the metrics and interlocutions observed. Thus, using such data allowed the UFPA Central Library to mediate information on Facebook in an efficient, interactive and constructive manner.

The objective is to analyze how the museological institution interacts through on-line social networks with its public and how the responsible agents understand this communication process taking into account the social function of museums and the need to promote dialogue with society. To accomplish this reflection, it investigates the Museum of the Federal University of Pará (MUFPA), situated in Belém (PA). As theoretical foundation, it is used the reflections made from literature relating to the Communication (BRAGA; FRANÇA; MARTINO; RECUERO) and the Museology field (CARVALHO; CURY; GUARNIERI; MUCHACHO; SCHEINER). As methodological procedures for data collection, two main techniques are highlighted: the direct observation unsystematic and systematic of social networks Facebook and Instagram appropriated by the Museum of UFPA and interviews from semi-structured scripts with the subjects involved in the production and circulation of the content published in the virtual environments connected to MUFPA. It concludes that the way MUFPA makes use of the studied on-line environments provides expansion and strengthening of the local social ties established virtually, through the practice of posts whose contents portray regional aspects and scenes of the day-by-day of the museum. The maintenance of this practice may provide that the links established in cyberspace are scaled to the physical space of the museum, with potential to reframe the dynamics of presential visitation of the museum circuit in the city of Belém. Analyze the museum as an object allows an extension of the perspectives of Communication and Museology area, and points the necessity for further research that investigate more broadly the museological institutions as a medium, for example, the communication in the experience of the visit to the museum, the dynamic and the museums and its diferente public, among other possibilities.

Since yours emergency, in the mid 1990’s, the social media has made many changings in the social interactions. But it wasn’t only the social interactions affected by the popularization of social media, the work interactions have also affected by the changes in the new participation society. In this way, this research addresses the discursive practices that enterprises and consumers act in Facebook and the mode of enunciation accordingly with such practices, in order to recognize how enterprises and consumers establish and articulate the modes of enunciation of those practices in theirs interactions in Facebook. Supported by French Discourse Analysis, especially in the studies of Maingueneau (1997, 2008a, 2008b, 2011, 2015) about the notions of enuciative scene, discursive practice and midium, we understand that is relevant investigate such processes articulating the linguistic dimension and the social historic dimension that implies ways of saying and of doing, that also implies social relations reorganization and the use of power to say and to stop talking. The analysis that we develop is divided in three parts, according with the material analyzed: the enterprises’ posts, the consumers’ comments, and the enunciators of enterprises and consumers’ replies. From this triple analysis, we concluded that the interaction between enterprises and consumers in Facebook is conducted by a tension between discursive practices: in one side, the organizational discursive practice activated by enterprises and, in the other side, the discursive practice imposed by consumers looking for attention for their demands. This tension is determinated by the modes of enunciation and the meaning effects that medium makes possible.

In the presented research, we discuss the types of self-exposing and the seeking for refuge through the LGBTI community interactions in the secret Facebook group Lana Del Ray Vevo. The point of the group’s creation in 2013 was only to produce content for its homonymous page on Facebook. Nowadays, after reaching almost one million members, the LDRV conquered unprecedented popularity in its host social network. The group has been a strong LGBTI community representativeness ally, since the most of its members are part of that community. It was a favorable environment for the testimonies and sharing of experiences, in light of the community demands for listening and hosting. The research dialogues with Goffman (1985), Giddens (2002), Papacharissi (2011) and Sibilia (2004) in order to understand the self-representations in this social network environment and in the LDRV group, as well as Queré (1991) and France (2004) to understand the guiding principles of group interactions. The boundaries fluidity and the interpenetrations between the public, the private and the relations that are established as well as the interactions intimacy occurred in the virtual environment, are discussed based on Winocur (2011, 2012) and Arfuch (2010), while the social roles played in the group and the relationships that are established in the internet social networks are observed from Recuero (2009). For more, Ricoeur (2014) allows us to understand the self-image construction. From the methodological point of view, the research has clipping posts showing testimonies about the "coming out" time of the LDRV members, using the formulations of Sedgwick (2007) to understand about the "epistemology of the coming out" allied with a recent subject research as Silva Filho (2012), Reis (2017) and Serejo (2018) to set the context that permeates the research. Resorting the netnography, as proposed by Kozinets (2014), the research analyzes the posts, combining it with semi structured interviews with members of the LGBTI community, authors of the selected posts. It intends to understand why the LDRV has become, among of the everyday trivialities shared in the group, an environment in which the participants expose personal, private and intimate life, in the desire to be hosted and get attention.

Política online: campanha eleitoral no facebook
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-09-03) LOPES, Lucivane; MORBACH, Marise Rocha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6548225770072744
The present research aims to analyze Brazil's 2012 Election Campaign, describing the construction of "social capital" in the online social network 'Facebook'. The main goal is to analyze the importance of this vehicle as a catalyst of social capital and how these are transformed into political capital, that is, votes. In Brazil, social networks have expanded on their degree of importance for electoral campaigns, as these networks may encourage political engagement. The visibility on the web has been turned into results in the ballot boxes and/or into political capital. For this work, Netnography was used as a qualitative methodology for assessment of the hypothesis that political participation is extended with the emergence of online social networks.

We analyze how the discursive political representation of councilors is configured in a communicational environment in which they enjoy relative autonomy for production and publication, Facebook. Specifically, we will investigate the videos posted on the profiles and personal fan pages of city councilors (2017/2020) in the two main capitals of the North of the country: Belem and Manaus. As a theoretical foundation, we resort to the discussion on political representation, in particular, the discursive one. From a methodological point of view, the corpus is composed of 210 videos that were systematized through content analysis and analyzed from three categories linked to discursive political representation: how do they speak? how often? what are they talking about? The results point out tensions related to the demands of women's representation and the themes defended by the councilors, as well as shedding light on the aspects of format and language from which they seek to interact in that communicational environment.
