Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O desenvolvimento socioambiental na Transamazônica: a trajetória de um discurso a muitas vozes(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006) SOUZA, Ana Paula Santos; VEIGA JUNIOR, Iran Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9513562131313692The Transamazônica is a region of agricultural frontier planned by the military governments, with a finality to connect The Amazônia to the rest of the country. With the abandon of the colonization project, the migrants reacted and with the help of Catholic Church created on important social movement. The discourse of a sustainable development, diffused by ECO92 to Transamazônica in 1989, with the meeting of Xingu Indian people, in protest against the construction of Belo Monte Hydroelectric power station. The focus of this study is the discourse. It treats an historic-social analyze of oral and writing discourse of agricultors and the Catholic Church, on the development and the environment, identifying limits and the possibilities, as the provoked changes by its in the politic social and environmental scenery of the region. It used the method of the analyze of discourse since the category of interdiscoursevity, denominated bay Fairclough (2001) as the combination of several elements of order of discourse in a same discourse. The objective of this category is to specify the types of discourse that they are present in analyzed discourse sample. The areas of the study is situated in the west of Pará, more exactly in the localized municipalities a long of BR – 230, of Uruará until Pacaja, in the BR-163, of Placas until Itaituba and in the middle Xingu including the municipalities of Vitória do Xingu, Senador José Porfirio e Porto de Moz. This region is also the priority area of actuation of Prelazia of Xingu and the leaded social movement by agricultors. Four subjects were selected to the analyze: the demarcation of the Cachoeira Seca Indian Land, Especial FNO, the Belo Monte construction and the Proambiente program. The results chose that the international social environmental influenced the agricultors social movement of Transamazônica and Xingu. Though, the creation of the resex, parks, well as debates about the environmental impacts of Belo Monte, a expansion of the soybean and other initiatives also showed that the diversified familiar agriculture, with access to the public politics, getting their production benefited and commercialized, it’s the model of aspired development by these actors. With the democratic openning of 1985, the fight over the possession of land became tought and through occupation the pressure was on the state to desapropriate the mencioned areas. The study of the rural settlements became more intense from the decade of 90, with the increase of labourers settled down, it was formed a real social “microcosmo”. This work looks into the organization on land work by familiar farmers on one of the rural settlements in “São Francisco do Pará” municipality, northeast of Pará. Their organization works with a process that associates man-power and/or capital when organizing production, for some local groups on their agronomy activities. The organization complex ways are based on diversified prodution sistems and guided by social, economic and symbolic relationships that are built on local groups. These relationships might establish the way of reproduction of the diferent familiar groups involved on these locationsItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mel na composição da renda em Unidades de Produção Familiar no Município de Capitão Poço, Pará, Brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-08-27) BOTH, João Paulo Castanheira Lima; KATO, Osvaldo Ryohei; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4241891652832872The apicultural activity aiming at the honey production, comes being developed has some years for familiar agriculturists of the City of Capitao Poço, who practise the beekeeping as complementary or main activity. This research studies and analyzes the partner-economic importance of the apicultural activity in the honey production as complementary activity for composition of income in Units of Familiar Production in the City of Capitao Poço, in the northeast Territory Paraense. The objectives of this study had been to identify to the handling for the production of honey and the partner-economic importance of this activity in the units of familiar production, beyond analyzing the possibility of organic production of honey in Capitao Poço. The research was carried through in 24 communities, based in the methodology of diagnosis of agrarian systems in the city of Capitao Poço, in which 105 families had been interviewed, with aid of questionnaires elaborated with objective and subjective questions approaching the situation, income, production of honey, extra farming activity and activities agrarian lots. The GPS was used in some communities as tool for the apicultural land reference for the identification of the distances between city of the bees. The results demonstrate the growth of the production of honey in the year of 2007, particularly when compared with the two previous years. Ahead of the reached results, its possible to conclude that the honey complements enters 10% 30% the familiar income for 59 families of familiar agriculturists. The number of beekeepers increased enters the years of 2004 (65 beekeepers) and 2007 (105 beekeepers). The total production that in 2004 arrived the 48,870 kg of honey, in the 1961 beehives, jumped in 2007 for 94100 kg in the 3670 beehives, resulting in the increase of the total production of honey in 92,55%. The potential of organic production of honey in old areas of settling of Capitao Poço is low in front of the agrarian situation of the city. The beekeeping is an rentable producing activity that must be faced as complementary activity for the studied region, establishing connection the social, economic and ambient aspects.
