A Análise de assunto no contexto museológico: aplicação do protocolo verbal individual nos museus da UFPA e MPEG

Discusses subject analysis as a way of representing the essence of a document, making it possible to recover it within a system, consisting of the first and most important stage of the Indexing process. However, there is a lack of methodologies in the literature in the field of Museology for the practice of subject analysis in the context of museums, an aspect that influences the adequate retrieval of information in these spaces. This problem drove this research, whose objective is to map how the processes of subject analysis occur in the cataloging of museological objects, aiming to improve the strategies of dissemination and retrieval of information in museums. As specific objectives it has: a) To carry out a theoretical study on the representation of information in museums; b) Conduct a theoretical study on subject analysis in indexing and verify the subsidies for indexing in museums; c) Identify whether the process of subject analysis in indexing occurs in the practice of cataloging museological objects, through the application of the Individual Verbal Protocol. To achieve these objectives, it employs an exploratory research with qualitative analysis of the data collected using the technique of Individual Verbal Protocol applied to nine professionals from two institutions that have great performance in the Amazon context, the Federal University of Pará and the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi. . As a result, it was possible to identify that the museum professional is unaware of the subject analysis process, which leads to inconsistencies in the user's information retrieval. In this context, suggestions are made for a model of documentary reading to help professionals in the process of analyzing the subject in the museological context. It concludes that subject analysis, as the first step towards indexing, needs to be well designed through the elaboration of norms and guidelines that need to consider the information needs of the user community that use the museum institution.

Constituição da memória institucional sobre sustentabilidade ambiental divulgada no âmbito da Universidade Federal do Pará

The Institutional Memory is constituted from the process of choice and selection of what was and is relevant to the history of an Institution, in this scenario the News Portal of the Federal University of Pará and the Institution's Academic Units is studied to identify this relationship . This research has as its guiding problem: How does the information on environmental sustainability disseminated within the scope of the Federal University of Pará constitute its Institutional Memory? To answer this question, the general objective is to analyze the dissemination of technical-scientific production on environmental sustainability generated within the scope of the Federal University of Pará for the constitution of Institutional Memory. As for the research methods and techniques, a single case study was carried out for data collection, and Content Analysis for the analysis of the data obtained. According to the cut delimited by the research, five sources of evidence were analyzed: Institutional Documents of the Federal University of Pará and the Institutional Communication Office; Analysis, based on data mining, of the pages of the News Portal of the Federal University of Pará and the websites of the Academic Units; Questionnaire answered by the administrators of these pages; Interview with the Director of the Communication Office of the University and Survey of Technical-scientific Production on the subject in the Institutional Repository of Theses and Dissertations of the Federal University of Pará. As a result, it was identified that the disclosures made through the Portal and the websites of the Academic Units are recognized by the University's management as an instrument in achieving the Institution's strategic management. There is dissemination of information on environmental sustainability on the University's websites, however the theme can be worked on further. The Communication Office recognizes the relevance of the theme and has been developing strategies for greater dissemination. As for the constitution of the Institutional Memory, although there is recognition that the Portal is a form of Constitution of the Institutional Memory of the Federal University of Pará, there is still no concern in the sense of structuring and maintaining it from this perspective, with the need to instrumentalize such a need. It was concluded that the University News Portal and the websites of the Academic Units can be considered as instruments in the constitution of the Institutional Memory of the Federal University of Pará, although currently they are not treated nor prepared to act in this way, however, they can become institutionalized places of memory.

Inter Olhares: proposta de concepção de uma revista digital para abordar questões que afetam o cotidiano da UFPA

Universities are great spaces for training human resources and producing knowledge, however, they also present issues that need to be faced and discussed with the academic community, such as violence, prejudice or waste disposal, among others that are also evident in society in general. It is understood that these issues are not always widely discussed within the scope of formal education and, based on this principle, in the context of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), this work has as its general objective the dissemination and circulation of studies related to problems that involve the everyday life of the University, like the overpopulation of dogs, seeking to promote a wide circulation, awareness and debate about complex topics by the academic community, which requiresintegrated solutions. The specific objectives were proposed: (i) to identify what perceptions the academic community has about the subject treated in the first example of the magazine; (ii) designing a digital magazine to address UFPA's daily problems; and (iii) evaluate and validate a proposal. In this context, a digital magazine called "Inter Olhares" was created, aimed at everyone who transits and circulates in the Institution: students, teachers, technical-administrative servers, service providers. service and visitors. The magazine is structured in five sections: Perception, Fact, Complexity, Reflection and Attitude, with a proposal for semiannual periodicity and brings, in the first edition, the theme of stray dogs overpopulation in the Professor José da Silveira Netto University City, headquarters of UFPA, in Belém. In order to design the product, it was necessary to go through some steps that covered the method of analyzing the perception of problems at UFPA and collecting data in the community; a definition of the journal's prerequisites; structuring the editorial plan; the preparation of the first issue of the magazine; and the validation. As a result, it was found that a magazine, in general, can be used in the context of teaching, especially in the scope of non-formal education, due to its versatility, clarity of language and accessibility. The availability of the magazine in digital format, with the different resources offered, expands the magazine's accessories, especially because of the possibility of simplifying information and the combination of different media, which can increase the chances of learning the subjects used in editions.

A produção científica da UFPA sobre conhecimentos tradicionais: análise das teses e dissertações disponíveis no Banco de Teses da Capes

Investigates the scientific production of the Federal University of Pará on traditional knowledge, based on the theses and dissertations available at the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Level Personnel Bank of Theses, in order to verify how the subject has been approached in the institution. It uses data analysis, french line discourse analysis and contributions of bibliometrics, constituting a qualitative-quantitative study. The results indicate that the theme is current and of interest to Federal University of Pará in several areas of knowledge. They also verify that the local discussions on the theme follow the context of the national and international approaches, yet have their own characteristics related to the location where the institution is located, the Amazon region. Finally, conclude that the analysis of the scientific production of an institution shows promise for the understanding of how certain topics have been approached, in this case, the traditional knowledge.
