This article analyzes the fictional work Os pardais estão voltando from the writer from Pernambuco Gilvan Lemos deducing from the work cited aspects of the new historical novel. Initially, information about the life and work of that writer is evident, as well as some critical comments made on his literary production. Then, the analysis of the novel occurs, pointing out its narrative strategies evidencing a romanesque discourse combined with concepts from studies about the new Latin American historical novel in the considerations of Menton (1993), Le Goff (1996), Barros and Fiorin (1994 ), Bakhtin (1997) among other strategies that are present in the novel. Narrative expedients like characters, time, space and memories are articulated in the reading of the work that symbolizes the Brazilian state in times of crisis.

The study analyses the reporting mechanism in narratives referring to the period of the civil and military dictatorship in Brazil. The corpus delimited to build the analysis is the testimony No corpo e na alma (2002), written by Derlei Catarina de Luca and the novel Soledad no Recife (2009), written by Urariano Mota. On the basis of the two narratives, it was possible to problematize the perspective of the reporting mechanism, proposed category to think about how reporting practices occurred and worked during the state of exception, and, mainly, how the resulting practices escaped as representations for the corpus both testimonial and literary. For this reason, through the case study, the analysis points out, while using other examples, how the protagonists of both narratives had their lives demobilized because of the reporting suffered. The delimitation of the political and historical context was fundamental, because I start from the analysis of the device concept thought up by Michel Foucault, whose assumption is that a device is a control technology that is constantly being readapted, depending on the requirements, therefore, the work understands as the reporting mechanism – that one situated in a historical and political context – as a control tactic readapted from other times and contexts. To better think about the implications and nuances of the reporting mechanism, it was necessary to systematize it from its action elements, which has made it possible to understand the practice of denunciation within the device. And beyond that, the work also needed to present the implications of literary theory with regard to the studies of testimony and testimonial content, concept thought up by Márcio Seligmann-Silva (2009), since both narratives needed to be problematized because of their literary value and the structural divergences presented between them, the first being a testimony and the second a novel with testimonial content. Taking these implications into account, this production needed to be based on categories such as Michael's Foucault (2017) device, state of exception and sovereignty of Giorgio Agamben (2004; 2010); Judith Butler’s precarious life (2018); in addition to theoretical contributions on testimony and Ceília de Luque’s testimonial content (2003), Valéria de Marco (2004), Eugênia Vilela (2012), Márcio Seligamann-Silva (2017); Tânia Sarmento-Pantoja (2018) e Augusto Sarmento-Pantoja (2019). Finally, the research takes as its methodological basis the comparative literature, in particular by considering the circulation of certain issues arising from the relationship between history and culture; and also historical materialism, especially, for analysing the emanations of barbarism in objects of culture and for betting on the perception of the past as a way of rethinking and changing structures of the present.

The present work seeks to present the results of the research about fiction films and historical concepts in the teaching of History within the Postgraduate Program strictu sensu Professional Master in History Teaching at the Federal University of Pará, Campus Ananindeua. With the general objective of debating historical concepts in elementary school classrooms and the difficulties of their apprehension, in view of their complex and abstract character, we explored new ways for students to recognize and dialogue with such concepts by working with episodes in the series of Star Wars films as the main didactic resource and relating them to the crisis in democracy and the rise of totalitarian regimes between the two world wars, with students from a class of ninth year of the Nilza Nascimento State Elementary School, in the city of Castanhal, in the state of Pará and that led to the production of mental maps based on their impressions and understanding of the concepts and the historical narrative studied, in the second semester of 2019. In order to carry out the pedagogical intervention work, cine classes, conversation circles and workshops of production of mind maps were developed, seeking to make classes more playful and encourage student participation in the construction of knowledge.

(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-12-22) TANCREDO, Rogério Alan; FERRAZ, Antônio Máximo von Sohsten Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5982898787473373
In the passage from the 19th to the 20th century, the contemporary narrative suffers a rupture caused by experiments on the works of authors such as Franz Kafka, Marcel Proust, James Joyce and Virginia Woolf. From then on, the novel will never be the same, because the narrative, rather than representing reality in its rich details, now brings to the surface the act of creation and the narrative’s own reality. This work consists in a research project that will say about the revision of the mimetic tradition in the book A Rainha dos Cárceres da Grécia (1976), written by Osman Lins, that focuses the process of writing of a novel dressed as an essay, that is to say, of a novel that focuses on itself; and it has as theoretical basis the thought of Giorgio Agamben with reference to contemporaneity and the Outside’s concept, by Maurice Blanchot, which can help to clarify and understand the transformations he has undergone, as well as the current position of the contemporary novel. For this, we will bring narrators who transformed and innovated the act of narrating to dialogue as the Lins’s narrator, who we believe has pointed to a new trend from the fusion of the romance genre with the essay genre, specifically in the book mentioned above, exploring the multiple possibilities of the creation and writing process.

(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-09-14) DOLZANE, Harley Farias; FERRAZ, Antônio Máximo von Sohsten Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5982898787473373
"The most pressing need for a human being was to become a human being." The observation that is found in Uma aprendizagem ou O livro dos prazeres (1969), brings us to the question that guides this dialogue with Clarice Lispector's novel: the need to “become a human being”. It is possible to interpret this need to become what one is as the search that moves the entire gesture of the Brazilian author's writing. In that search, there is tension and the texture weaving of an original dialogue that the entirety of Lispector's work, especially through her novels, establishes with the roots of Western and Eastern thought. It is from this dialogue that the present work is designed, intending to interpret each of Clarice Lispector's novels as a manifestation of Poetic Learning, that is, as a possible path that the reader has at his or her disposal to understand himself ou herself into the question of the meaning of being. In this way, the work articulates an ontology that sets itself the search for the meaning of being as a creative movement that enables openings from/to other possibilities of achievement. At the same time, in the rehearsal of a hermeneutic and fictional plot that permeates each of the author's novels, the perception of the way in which such dynamic is intended for each human being (reader) is provided as an invitation to self-realization searches through language (logos).
