Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Anjos & cronistas: Dybbukim entre a ditadura e o futebol(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-02-24) MUINHOS, Breno Pauxis; CORNELSEN, Elcio Loureiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2420574923794; SARMENTO-PANTOJA, Tânia Maria Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3707451019100958This research aims to analyze the perceived antagonism in sports chronicles written by the poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade and the playwright Nelson Rodrigues, published in two anthologies post-mortem Quando é dia de futebol, organized by two of the miner poet grandchildren, and À sombra das chuteiras imortais, a selection made by Ruy Castro. The antagonisms are described in this work by pointing to the opinions of the authors, about the direction of national politics and Brazilian society in the period of the Civil-Military Dictatorship; here perceived in critical view of modern works such as angels, and categorizing them as literary dybbukim: from reflections suggested in História & Modernismo of Monica Velloso and O anjo da história of Walter Benjamin. This shall be held a brief discussion about the chronic gender, some traces of its origin in Brazil, and the relationship between chronic, journalism and literature. In addition to an exposition of studies on chronic sports written by writers like Coelho Neto and Lima Barreto, and discussions dealing with the concept of Modern and Modernism, finally selected some of the chronicles of two authors about soccer and politics, in which to exemplify the proposed categorization.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Anti-homofobia no futebol paraense: engajamento social nas torcidas de Remo e Paysandu(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-25) SOUSA, Milene Costa de; AMARAL FILHO, Otacílio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2605877670235703This dissertation addresses the configuration of social engagement against homophobia by the fans of Remo and Paysandu and both clubs from Pará on the internet. As an empirical object, the positions of the barras bravas organised supporters' groups of football Camisa 33 and Banda Alma Celeste were selected; and the Remo and Paysandu clubs, published on their official Facebook pages. The sociation processes in the sense of visibility brought by the communication have enabled discussions about homophobia, which in 2019 was criminalized in Brazil by the Superior Federal Court. Such discussions reached the football arenas and the cultural spectacle of football, where homophobia is often performed by fans. The guiding question is: how is the anti-homophobic social engagement process being carried out amidst the cultural spectacle of Pará football? The main objective is to explain the social engagement against homophobia in Pará football, which in turn is marked by the rivalry between Remo and Paysandu and their respective fans, not just explaining, but went further by proposing a reflection on the universe of football and the practices of homophobia and against homophobia.. The methodology used is content analysis according to Laurence Bardin (1977), and qualitative and bibliographic research to obtain adequate theoretical references, such as Édison Gastaldo (2005), Itamar Gaudêncio (2003), Georg Simmel (1983), Roberto DaMatta (1982) , Manoel Tubino (2001), Frederico Coelho (2006) and Mauricio Murad (2012), for studies that made it possible to approach the proposed subject. The result of the research points out that the engagement against homophobia means a new context in football, which has the internet as a fundamental piece so that it is more relevant and developed in the midst of the Paraense and Brazilian soccer spectacle.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Corpos alterados: gesto, performance e paixão entre torcedores do Paysandu(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-07-03) COUTINHO, Lucienne Ellem Martins; CAMARGO, Giselle Guilhon Antunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2551648142775344; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2662-8704The present Thesis has as its central theme the performance of the Paysandu’s passionate supporters. In the path I took, I worked with the notion of “restored behavior”, by Richard Schechner (2003); and with the idea of “fans as a community”, by anthropologist Roberto da Matta. I begin by making a historical retrospective of football, showing its evolution, from ancient times to the present day, when it becomes governed by rules and characterized as a sport. Historical data about the arrival of football in Belém, state of Pará, were collected in the works of Gaudêncio (2007) and Costa (2007). Aquino (2002) presents the first signs of a practice similar to what is known today as 'soccer'; Zainaghi (1998) puts us in touch with the beginnings of football in Brazil; Leal (2000) tells us about the practice of Tsuchu (2nd century), considered the oldest form of game in China; Grisard (2003) talks about handling the ball in games; Brustolin (2008) looks at football as one of the most important social and cultural phenomena of the 20th century; Carioba (2017) reflects on the dark side of football as an elitist practice in the 19th century. The heart of the work – the ethnographic description of the Paysandu’s passionate fans’ performances – is found in the chapter entitled ‘Sunday of the Passion’ [‘Domingo da Payxão’]. In it, I hypothesize how the passion of “the biggest and the best” football team in the North Region – Paysandu – was born.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Curso virtual de futebol e formação humana: análise dos elementos históricos e pedagógicos(Colégio Brasileiro de Ciências do Esporte, 2022) MOTA, Joselene Ferreira; FERREIRA, Emerson Maciel; FREITAS, Rhenan Ferreira de; REIS, Saulo VianaThis is an experience report on the development of the Virtual Football Course and human formation: analysis of historical and pedagogical elements, an action that composed the set of virtual activities of the UFPA Academy and Soccer Project during the COVID-19 pandemic period. Based on a proposition of dialogue between Anthropology and Communication, we sought to understand the intersubjective processes (Schutz, 1978, 2012) expressed by the affections and sensibilities experienced by the fans and shown in social forms (Simmel, 1999, 2006). We sought to carry out an analysis of the sociocultural communicative processes in order to understand the social construction of sensibilities and the production of sensitive meanings that involve team fans.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Futebol, ditadura e trabalho: uma análise das relações políticas e sociais no campo desportivo paraense (1964 – 1978)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009) MONTEIRO, Sinei Soares; FARIAS, William Gaia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2553754490715388This dissertation will discuss the relevance of soccer in Brazilian society, especially in the state of Pará in the 20th century, more precisely in the context of a military dictatorship that reigned in Brazil back then (1964-1978). It is based on substantial documentation from Arthur Viana Library‘s archive, sports organizations‘ records, sports magazines, work contracts, lawsuits and statements, and also a huge bibliography covering that topic. This paper will help understand how social and political relationships were built in connection with local sports activities during the 20th century, highlighting negotiations and conflicts that took place in the construction process of the Mangueirão state soccer stadium, including the foundation and fortification of the Soccer Federation of Pará, and performs an analysis of work relationships established among the people daily involved with soccer in Pará.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Kyikatejê: entre o campo e a aldeia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-03-30) PINHEIRO, Nathália Maria Cohén; LIMA, Regina Lúcia Alves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8158415442871989This thesis aims to analyze the discourse on the Indian football team Gavião Kyikatêjê circulating in audiovisual products. Based on a dense ethnography (Geertz, 1989), I verified the relationship between intersubjectivities and socialities as a social practice of collectively living emotion. This methodology allowed greater freedom between the researcher and the interlocutors because of the possibility of experiencing, observation and interaction. The very perception to a look, a gesture, a smile helped in the intended understanding and, thus, everything became relevant during the research. The choice of doing an ethnography using as object of study the rowing of the Rowing Club, focusing on the bra bar Shirt 33, occurred for singular reasons. The bar has the premise of not having the bureaucracy of the organized, has a strong presence on the internet and accompanies the Remus in any modality that he is participating, including in the amateur sport. Through ethnography it was possible to establish a direct relationship with social markers of difference and to notice that the crowd is characterized by being middle class, a good part of the members, are young and university. In this sense, in order to analyze the relations that soccer evokes during games, and beyond them, I have used the phenomenology proposed by Alfred Schutz (1967) and made possible the categorization of the typifications engendered by the fans in order to understand experiences experienced by them in their daily life, and therefore social practices that reflect the communicational dimension of the intersubjective process, focusing on the sensitive dimension of social interaction. In this way, I have verified how affection, taste, ethos and empathy are typified and are present in the everyday social life of the cheerleader. To do so, I discuss with a theoretical-methodological perspective with a focus on the intersubjectivity perspective in which I use concepts from Alfred Schutz, Arlei Damo, Gilberto Velho, Michel Maffesoli and Roberto DaMatta.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Torcida, substantivo feminino: interações e relações de gênero nas torcidas do clássico Remo x Paysandu(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-03-26) NASCIMENTO, Mayra Leal do; BRITO, Rosaly de Seixas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4471773526594200The dissertation brings an analysis of the gender relations and interactions of the fans of Clube do Remo and Paysandu Sport Club, based on an anthropological methodology. In order to analyze how gender issues are manifested in the constituent interactions of being a woman fan of these clubs and in the performances of fans of the classic, the research combines participant observation in the stands on RexPa days with semi-structured interviews with fans who frequent the stadium. The participant observation was made in both bleachers during classics played at the Mangueirão Stadium, in Belém, in the years 2018 and 2019, allowing the apprehension of phenomena and collective experiences. The interviews were conducted with eight women - four fans of Remo and four of Paysandu - with different trajectories and profiles, considering their subjectivities and personal experiences and articulating them with the observations in the field research. The analysis perspective adopted is based on a relational approach to communication and gender and allows the identification of collective and individual practices and rituals, interactions built in this scope, social and affective relationships that involve experiences and as issues of gender and power are involved in this whole process. Among the main concepts used are those of performance and performativity; of communication and interaction with the body as the core; of power and domination matrices; and gender discussions. The stadium is understood as a communicational environment that allows the connection between bodies, it also shows the relationship between women and soccer throughout history to the present day, discussing the power relationships built in this sport and the adopted resistance strategies. Thus, it was possible to identify that gender issues are manifested in the individual trajectories of the women fans of soccer, sometimes through adaptation to a dominant male performance, or through the use of strategies to demarcate the place of women in soccer. These are present in the experiences of both affection and disrespect and in structural situations of the soccer stadium. In relation to the fans' performances, it was possible to verify how gender oppressions appear through silences, masculinities and homophobia. The research path also made it possible to visualize the role of affects in the act to be soccer fan and the sensitive dimension that this practice involves.
