(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-12) BRÍCIO, Vilma Nonato de; LEMOS, Flávia Cristina Silveira; GALINDO, Dolores Cristina Gomes
This article is a cut of the research that problematized with the theoreticalmethodological assistance of some concepts of Michel Foucault the constitution of the device of sexuality as a strategic element of youthful government in the contemporaneity and its articulation to the tactics of publicprivate partnerships diagrammed in the Vale Program Youth, which is one of the actions of the Vale Foundation, linked to Vale. The Vale Foundation developed the Vale Program Youth in the 2007-2012 period, promoting the training of young people on issues of sexuality. From a perspective of programmatic governmentality, the affective-sexual dimension is inserted by the Vale Program Youth into an economic arrangement so that the education / training of young people is economically advantageous and politically useful for Vale, the Vale Foundation, the Alliance Institute, the Prefectures And its secretariats and other partner agencies in the development of the Program, since governmentality has unblocked the concept of population and economy as government

Foucault e a questão do dispositivo, da governamentalidade e da subjetivação: mapeando noções
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-06) GONÇALVES, Jadson Fernando Garcia
This article aims to track a map of the notions of dispositif, governmentality and subjectivation present in texts of Foucault appeared in different moments of his production. This intent also concretizes it with a recurrence at text of Deleuze, from those it is possible to see nuances that they engender. In a moment in which the education, disguised in the idea of neo-authoritarianism, it is assumed by the officials public politics as a strategic dispositive of administration of conduct (in which the encounters between the techniques of domination of the others and the self techniques characterizes the governmentality as “surface of contact that joins the way of conduct of the individuals and the way that they conduct themselves”) nothing more opportune like resume the reflections of Foucault to understand the questions that hits the education and the constitution of the pedagogic moral subject in our present.

(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, 2017) LEMOS, Flávia Cristina Silveira; BRÍCIO, Vilma Nonato de; GALINDO, Dolores Cristina Gomes; FRANCO, Ana Carolina Farias
This paper presents some thoughts on governance practices in the Brazilian liberal education and the organization of the school system from the perspective of governmentality in Foucault, during the twentieth century. Thus, the theoretical framework used to undertake the analysis includes some authors / the educational area, as well as attempts to link them to the discussion with some concepts developed by Foucault on liberalism, governmentality, power knowledge, subjectivity and education. Education, in this perspective becomes one governamentality apparatus that builds speeches and visibilities that subjectify subjects in different ways. In Brazil, the liberal education combined with the desire to modernize bodies and another company, engendering forms of government to operate on the social spheres, cultural, political, ethical and economically in the lives and bodies.

Governamentalidades neoliberais e dispositivos de segurança
(2015-08) LEMOS, Flávia Cristina Silveira; BICALHO, Pedro Paulo Gastalho de; ALVAREZ, Marcos César; BRÍCIO, Vilma Nonato de
This article aims at a theoretical debate through the analysis of Michel Foucault and Robert Castel, among others, about the security mechanisms and strategies of neoliberal governmentality in contemporary society. Foucault's courses In defense of society, Security, territory and population and The Birth of Biopolitics have opened a relevant discussion about the racism of state and society, its paradoxes in democracies, and effects on the emergence of North America and Germany's neoliberalism after World War II, which was broadcast to other countries, especially in the nineties of the twentieth century, with each country's specificities, but with connection points that allow us to draw a diagram of how society security operates for the conduct of government tactics, also called governmentality by Foucault.

La representación de la violencia policial en las manifestaciones de junio de 2013: un análisis crítico del discurso de las editoriales de los diarios Folha de São Paulo y O Liberal
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-11-14) PERDOMO, Fernando Iván Ruiz; DELUCHEY, Jean-François Yves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2530487459645226
Despite the bombastic declared end of history in the version of liberal democracy and the capitalist system, the end of ideologies and the class struggle, the supposed consensus of humanity on human rights and progress as the north of societies and its governments in this second decade of the twenty-first century, what we witness is the irruption of varied and novel processes of political action that have shaken the world, such as the Arab Spring, the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations of Ferguson against police violence in the United States, environmental protests in Turkey, Chilean students, Colombian peasants and the Free Pass Movement in Brazil. Although their contexts and motivations are varied, each one of them represented moments of strong tension within their countries, as a result of the clashes of violence and the struggle of speeches. In this international context of social unrest, the present investigation, centered on the Brazilian case, forms part of the demonstrations of June 2013 that triggered the increase in the passage of public transport in several cities, protests that had high doses of violence and repression, with the use not only of the truculence of armed bodies destined to preserve public order, but also of the judicial system, government speeches, mass media, among others. Concomitant with the occupation of forces in the streets between demonstrators and institutional armed forces, the symbolic struggle was fought, the clash of speeches, on the one hand, legitimizing discourses of the police order and the legitimate use of force used for its preservation, for the another, discourses that question the police order that resituate the force used by the armed bodies intended to preserve public order in the context of domination, to strip it of its legitimacy and justify its actions in response to institutional violence. From the perspective of the Critical Analysis of the Discourse we will analyze the editorials of the newspapers O Liberal and Folha de São Paulo that directly or indirectly, report the police violence against the demonstrators. The reflection on the texts in context will be based on the analysis of one category and two relations, with respect to the first one, the (de) construction of the "other" will be observed through the revision of the lexicon used by the newspapers, to describe the manifestations and demonstrators, as well as the force deployed by the armed forces responsible for controlling the June demonstrations in the cities of Belém and São Paulo, if it is considered violence or law enforcement, and the justification or condemnation of it . As for relations, the nexus between the discourses and the intensity of the force exerted for the control of the manifestations, and between the discourses and relations of power produced in that context, will be analyzed.

Modos de subjetivação e estratégias de governamentalidade: a constituição de um "sujeito infrator" nas tramas de um dispositivo jurídico
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009) SILVA, Alyne Alvarez; MÉLLO, Ricardo Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9026097374517495
This work had as the goal to glimmer the modes of subjectivation, present on the complex relationship of know-can of a legal contrivance, able to create a specific category of person: the subject infringer. According to Foucault (1997), the modes of subjectivation are the processes through which we become subject, that is, the means by which we are caught by the relationship of forces involved in the process of production of subjectivities. Therefore, certain knowledge and techniques present in several contrivances to which we connect or are connected - are considered modes that subjective us, causing-in and constituting-in as they act like normative types and way to be. To understand part of the speeches about the "subject infringer" and practices that act on it, as part of the forces that is, can be a way to provoke any type of cleft in the legal contrivance that insists in justify its action on behalf of a speech "protection" and "recovery" .If it is not possible to think in modes of subjectivation without linking them to the government issue, we ask from a genealogical study, practices of know-can-subjectivation present in the dossier of an adolescent in fulfillment of Socio-Educational Measure Hospitalization. To understand the modes of subjectivation as governmental strategies, confront a set of techniques - disciplinary, regulations and practices of themselves - and some of knowledge considered legitimate that gives a fundamental structure. The binary divisions produced by disciplinary instruments constitute the "abnormal" – in this case, the "subject infringer" –, to the detriment of what is considered to be "normal" – the "subject citizen", in which they wish to make-so. Thus, we seek through several techniques that adolescents hospitalized, separated of the desired "normality" and "identified" to the speeches that focus on the "infringer", become easy targets of the government techniques formed especially to deal with this category of people. Finally we see that, to justify the imprisonment of young people, the supposed function to recover the "deviations" conceals the tone punitive measure Socio-Educational of internment and lift a supposed corrective-educational character, which still exist as the main against "criminals" that the is legal contrivance constitutes.

The objective of this study is to analyze the process of adoption and implementation of discursive practices of territorial development that constitutes the public policy of the Citizenship Territories Program in Brazil. Specifically, it seeks to analyze the internalization of this discourse in the country, denaturalize and recognize the discursive practices of the territorial development present in the Program and analyze the adoption and the impact of this approach in the Amazon area, particularly in the Territory of Northeast Pará. In this thesis, seeks to demonstrate that the Program under analysis and the discursive practices of territorial development that are listed as subtle devices of governmentality, in the sense that are used to maintain a certain bio-political control. However, this control is not exercised exclusively by the Program, because there is a large institutional apparatus and legal concerns regarding the separate themes widely disseminated by the society which converge to a more broadly to govern the life of the population.

This research emerged from the concern with the establishment of the sexuality device as a strategic element of the youth government in contemporary society and its relationship to various tactics of partnerships between the public and private diagrammed in the Programme Valley Youth (JVP), which is as one of the shares of Vale Foundation, linked to the company Vale. Vale is one of the largest mining companies in the world, a private company, publicly traded, based in Brazil and present in about 30 countries around the world and keeps the Vale Foundation, a corporate foundation, which operates in the economic, environmental and social instability in the regions where Vale operates. Vale Foundation developed the Vale Youth Program in 2007-2012. The research object is limited in the production of youth sexuality governmentality in the Valley Youth Program curriculum (JVP), seeking to question: How does the production of youth sexuality governmentality in the Valley Youth Program curriculum (JVP)? An outcome of this issue, three guiding questions were elaborated: What are the historical conditions of emergence of the Company Vale and Vale Foundation as a "social worker" facing the youth? In that time the youth is presented as "problem" and target of interest / regulation of the JVP? What is the game of capture / disjunctions of sexuality device in PVJ curriculum and own youth permeated the relations know-power-subjectivity? As theoretical and methodological support were used some concepts of Michel Foucault to operationalize the analytical proposal, such as genealogy, power relations, governmentality, sexuality device Foucault (2004, 2005, 2006) and other authors as Candiotto (2010), Gadelha (2009), Fonseca (2003), and Bay (2007), Altman (2006). To circumscribe the object we use the theoretical contributions on education and curriculum: Silva (2006), Veiga-Neto (2003), Larrosa (1994), Popkewitz (1994); on youth: Batista (2012), Scheinvar and Lamb (2006), Abramovay (2004) and on history and documentary research, O'brien (1995), Le Goff (1996), Veyne (1998), Rago (1995). The main documents analyzed are the materials (books of texts and books) built by Vale Foundation and Alliance Institute for use by Vale Youth Program in training young people in terms of sexuality issues. From the analytical documents the thesis proposed in this study is that the Foundation as a tentacle of the Company Vale operates as a "social agent" focused on youth, as a "problem", turning it into governamentalidades target and regulations through the Program Vale Youth. This effectively acts in a game of catch and seditions of youth sexuality device constituted by relations know-power-subjectivity in which there is a government of conduct visualized as a "social business" in Pará Amazon at this time.

(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-05-14) FONSECA, Joyce Danielle Lima; GALINDO, Dolores; LEMOS, Flávia Cristina Silveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8132595498104759
This research aimed to historicize childhood and policies for early childhood education as from an analysis of the practices of UNICEF, and other sectors of society, that made efforts to conduct an objectification of infancy and early childhood education. This research is justified by the need to denaturalize practices objectification of childhood and early childhood education and intervention free of multilateral organizations in Brazilian educational scene, suspecting about argument of neutrality that pervades some practices directed at children. Looking for to draw a map to demarcate the government art of children, governmentality, and its effects in the formulation of policies for the Brazilian education in the period after LDB. For this analysis we used the theoretical and methodological framework grounded in historical genealogy of Michel Foucault. Was made a literature search that used the authors as Foucault (1970/79), Veyne (1998), Aries (1979), Kramer (1995/2006), Rosemberg (2002/2003), as well as the Brazilian federal government documents. It was concluded that early childhood education has emerged as one of the elements that encompass the practices of governmentality UNICEF.
