(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-01) LOBATO, Vívian da Silva
This article proposes to discuss the issue of individual and collective memory and the links with the education. The theoretical and methodological studies sits in Ecléa Bosi (1994, 2003) on memory and theory of social memory by Maurice Halbwachs (1993), according to these authors, memorativos processes are related to fields of meaning in the life of the subject which recalls. In this perspective, it is understood that the memory studies in education, with the contributions of some authors of Social Psychology - Ecléa Bosi (1994, 2003), Maurice Halbwachs (1993), help to elucidate the understanding of educational phenomena, the concerns and challenges that have mobilized in contemporary researchers and teachers. It is understood that look to be relevant about the past, given that this encounter with the historicity of education provides fruitful ways to produce new knowledge that can be invested in the educational practices of our time.

“Elas jogam, tocam e cantam”: práticas e discursos sobre a experiência histórica de mulheres capoeiristas no Pará
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-08-08) CAMÕES, Luciane de Sena; LEAL, Luiz Augusto Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7967678999713659
This work aims to discuss the historical experiences of some women capoeiristas involving “vadiagem” practice in some cities of Pará, their experiences were analyzed from the speeches built about feminine and gender relations derived by these conceptions. Thus, we seek to frame capoeiristas women‟s profiles of some cities of Pará, to meet and discuss about their capoeira‟s experiences; to analyze the capoeiristas insertion‟s process in groups and their formations; to verify the significance of capoeira‟s group; to ponder about issues related to the feminine specificities, such as pregnancy, PMS and etc, also to ponder about capoeira expertise. From the data analysis, it intends to comprehend the capoeiristas trajectory, their experiences and also their capoeira’s groups‟ experiences and how these groups can contribute to those women‟s protagonism. The research is based on qualitative data analysis from semi-structures interviews, field diary and open questionnaire applied with 19 women from Pará (Belém, Abaetetuba, Bragança, Castanhal and Cametá), which the discussions are carried out from notes about gender, black feminism and capoeira. In the oral history, it is possible to search contributions from ethnography and from the theorists who make these reflections. According to the narratives obtained from the research, it was possible to realize that: women often experience situations where there is reproduction of male chauvinism, sexism and violence. The capoeiras‟ feminist groups are carrying out actions of feminine protagonism such as: feminist groups; workshops; conversation groups; public acts; and repudiation letters. It is possible to notice that women are moving forward in scales. However, the relations between men and women in capoeira stand very unequal, it is necessary to make a deconstruction about these speeches and practices. This research process may contribute for the development of a new dialogue about the women‟s participation in capoeira and, above all, a contribution to the protagonism, visibility and establishment of women‟s speech in capoeira, and contributing to the reflection about the women‟s participation in capoeira groups and problematizing the constructed practices, since they are important features to the position for the feminine figure in their places.

The Escola Livre de Odontologia do Pará (Free School of Dentistry of Pará) was created in 1914, with objective to disseminate modern dental education. It was founded by surgeonsdentists, doctors and pharmacists who occupied important positions in the political and institutional structure of the State. The objective of this research is analyze the conditions of dental education institutionalization in the Escola Livre de Odontologia do Pará. The research locates between 1911 and 1920, because it embraces a period in which changes were introduced in the regulation of the dental practice, through the creation of the School, until the moment she fits to national rules laid down for the Faculties, in which the since then became Faculdade Livre de Odontologia do Pará (Free College of Dentistry of Pará). In the research we tried to analyze: the antecedents of the creation of the School; the relationships in dental practice in Pará; the resistances in the process of introduction of new dental practices. For this, the school curricula were analyzed, the registers of the Congregation and discourse of teachers and rulers, etc. Research has shown that before the creation of the School had dentists and practical dentists, who worked at the local dental field. These groups competed for the monopoly of dental practice in Pará. The dentists sought to expand areas of modern dentistry in the midst of society. They argued that their dental practice was scientific. They did use speeches that disqualify the practical dentists. With the creation of the Escola Livre de Odontologia was promoted dental education in the region, aimed at expanding the number of health professionals trained in the order of modern discourse, ie, graduates in scientific discourse. The school sought to expand the space of modern dentistry in the middle of the local population, creating the clinic dental care, which intended to provide dental surgical services free the soldiers of the Military Brigade, interns of the Hospice for the Insane and students from public schools in Belém.

The object of this research is the age-grade distortion for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) as an issue that becomes an abnormality in the society of performance and information. Thus, as a study problem, the theme treated as the object of this study has in view the uniqueness of the cases that include students “to be corrected” perceived not as subjects, but as data and investments historically manufactured as products of knowledge/power relations constituted from the hegemony of school education in modernity and the sciences that serve as a theoretical substrate. Question: How does UNICEF monitor what it calls age-grade distortion? How does UNICEF create the notion of abnormality from the schooling process articulated to the notion of development of children and adolescents through the chronological idea linked to performance? The thesis states that UNICEF, in Brazil, acts in the policies of acceleration of learning in Brazil in the correction of the school flow and produces effects in the subjectivity of the students seen as bodies "to be corrected" in an ageist way in Pará. The methodology is the genealogy from Michel Foucault and the documentary research of Cultural History. The general objective is to problematize and investigate the modes of subjectivation in UNICEF publications and their reverberations in the implementation of learning acceleration projects. The specific objectives: to scrutinize the daily life of the “incorrigibles” in the acceleration project implemented in the state of Pará, as well as the education professionals involved and question how the knowledge and practices that made possible the invention of the student with age-grade distortion in educational public policies for UNICEF. Among the results, it is possible to state that UNICEF, despite being concerned with the right of children and adolescents to education, ends up carrying out a process of ageist classification in relation to the schooling process.

Narratividade nas malhas da história, língua e discurso
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-09) AMORIM, Thaís Fernandes de
The present study seeks to reflect narrativity as a human action, linked and intrinsically related to discourse along time, and, therefore, along history and literature. Literature, History, and the history of literature are so intertwined that we can say that historians do not have any access to past events, but to narratives that have come to them, attributing them meaning. The literature historian is a narrator who, in the composition of a narrative, incorporates other contexts of other instances. The narratives of the nineteenth century that presented the title of "history of literature", for example, did not present elements that we notice nowadays as pertaining to the "history of narratives", namely: the narrative feature, the events which happened in period of time and space and, above all, the organization of such elements in order to the narrative make sense. To that end, we will bring the contributions of Wellek and Warren(19--), Pensavento (2003), Culler (1999), Vodicka (1978), and Jauss (1994), among others.

O Ramal do 40: histórias e memórias de comunidades na reserva extrativista Marinha Maracanã, Nordeste do Pará (1960-2020)
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-07-28) FIGUEIREDO, Elida Moura; PACHECO, Agenor Sarraf; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5839293025434267
This study aims to understand, from the point of view of historical experiences, changes and continuities in the ways of life of the residents of an Amazonian fishing community, 40 do Mocooca, from the emergence of new forms of mobility with the construction of a road that provoked the emergence of other contact zones, social practices, cultural exchanges, altering traditions in local daily life. The research was carried out in the 40 do Mocooca region, a village in the municipality of Maracanã, in the Salgado Zone of Pará, between 2018 and 2021, chronologically defined between 1960-2020. Theoretically, it was based on Social History and Cultural Studies and methodologically, it followed guidelines from documental criticism and Oral History to dialogue with collective and individual memories in circuits of oral tradition as a constituent of the ways of being, thinking and acting of the inhabitants of this region. In the work, the thesis is defended that changes perceived in the study of the past compared to the present, on the one hand, alter webs of relationships woven for decades between residents and the environment with the contact of new historical agents, information, cultural products, especially, at the turn of the 20th to the 21st century, on the other hand, even in unequal conditions, the social agents of the place re-elaborate the new technological and cultural apparatuses and continue in defense of their living traditions, fighting daily for what they believe to be the path of local development. To explain this thesis, the research is based on analyzes of the experience and experiences of these people, as well as on the study of small and large local events, some individual, others collective, in an attempt to understand the trajectory of this community that presents itself in a network of relationships and decisions of a mobile life between the countryside and the city, between the past and the present, between nature and urbanization, between fishing and a type of tourism, which we call “alternative” and “informal”, which comes forcing the emergence of some globalized practices observed from the arrival of new needs and habits of local consumption, above all, by the younger ones.

The search for control of the physical, financial and cultural heritage of the extinct Brotherhood of the Glorious Saint Benedict of Bragança by the Catholic Church, represented by the Prelature of Guamá, resulted in a complex weft of social relations, alliances and tensions in the Bragança’s city, Northeastern Pará, in the second half of the 20th century, especially between the 1960s and 1980s. These sides complemented each other in environments of the traditional Festivity of the Glorious Saint Benedict and rivaled in many others, involving social subjects that entangled plots and disagreements, which culminated in a lawsuit moved by the Catholic Church for the repossession of the material patrimony of the Brotherhood of Saint Benedict and for the control of cultural practices of the so-called Cycle of Saint Benedict, its festival and its symbolism. In this work, the re-reading of this struggle scenario, its subjects (in particular, lay people and clerics) and their actions, in addition to the recognition of the social and cultural environment experienced at the time, with the analysis of documentary sources belonging to the Reintegration of Possession Process (from 1969 to 1988), from the register books of the Prelature of Guamá (1947 to 1988), newspapers and periodicals from the city of Bragança (with deference to Caeté’s Journal), texts, studies, books and other sources at its core of these quarrels its main theme. Among some problems, the questioning of what reasons led the Catholic Church, having already guaranteed its management of religious services related to devotion to Saint Benedict, to resort to Justice to reintegrate itself into the permanent possession of the brotherhood's assets, due to the registration of this religious association as a society (or civil entity) in 1947. Such tensions were shadowed by a cultural environment associated with the festivities of Saint Benedict, in a variety of dates and events that take place annually in Bragança in the month of December. These questions demanded the use of the theoretical and methodological contribution of Social History and Cultural History, among so many contributions and readings, to understand these subjects, reread the facts and analyze the context in which these disputes were built, experienced and partially completed, which they still remained alive in the memory and marked the history of part of the local population in the 20th century.

Vozes silenciadas: história e memória de outras interpretações do processo de interiorização do Campus UFPA no município de Castanhal - PA a partir de 1970
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-22) SANTOS, Maria José Conceição dos; CHAVES, Túlio Augusto P. de Vasconcelos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0678870505162412; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983
The work aims to understand the history of the implementation of the UFPA Campus in the city of Castanhal, from the speeches and narratives of the subjects who experienced the process of interiorization from the 1970s, with emphasis on the period of the experienced military government at UFPA. Relating the past and the present of this trajectory, narrated according to the written documents and the interviewed subjects, another interpretation of the historical process of the institution was promoted, since the recorded history was loaded with documentary absences, referring to the periods of struggles and agreements that were established for the construction of the University in the interior of the State. The locus of the investigation was the Campus / UFPA, established in the city of Castanhal, northeastern microregion of the State of Pará. The research was guided by the following questions: What movements occurred in order to conceive the interiorization of the Campus-UFPA in Castanhal? What were the institutional projects that propelled UFPA to the city? Which subjects participated in the implementation? Did the Military Dictatorship impact the creation policy of the University? The investigation was based on qualitative bibliographic research and the procedures used were based on oral history, with instruments based on interviews and questionnaires, supported by the content analysis technique, which defined the direction of the information collected. The study proved that there are contradictions in most of the registered documents, which punctuate the University's interiorization in the city through the political force of the Federal, State and Municipal governments. In this sense, oral history is confronted with registered official documents, because it pointed to the existence of several institutional projects that propelled UFPA to the city of Castanhal. The Interiorization process took place in the 1970s, driven by many obstacles and conflicts. And there were several elements that mediated the action, in addition to the interference of projects coming from the Rural University Center for Community Action Training (CRUTAC), the Ministry of Education and the Department of Elementary Education (DEF), with the intention of establishing an agreement with UFPA - through the Education Center - and the City Hall, to set up a University campus in the city, considered one of the most developed in the region.
