The present dissertation is intended to investigate the strategies of women, slaves, former slaves and free men, considering the configuration of patrimony and home maintenance, in view of the distribution of goods in the city of Belém do Grão Pará (Belém of the Great Pará), in the first half of the 19th century and 2 thus, to perceive women and slave‟s spaces, roles and duties for the sake of good‟s inheritance, by means of wills (testaments) made during the 1800-1850 period. Women, who were charged of managing a home, would essentially perform a man‟s function, and they were the only ones who provided for the family‟s economy and ‘education at home. Other focus of the analysis refers to the presence of the captives on the wills (testaments), which is something to be considered, when it comes to drawing an outline of the slaves‟ economic and social value. It‟s also of major importance to understand the various ways slaves were used by their masters in the preparation of the will. Thus, an effort is made to elucidate the criteria employed for the description of the goods (slaves), with some focus on the liberty concessions made by means of the wills. It‟s equally relevant to approach the dynamics involving men and women during their will‟s making process. This study gives way to a reverberation over the routine of Belém do Grão Para‟s inhabitants, and their final arrangements during the act of making a will.

Estética e Política nas Cartas de Friedrich Schiller
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-11-26) SOUSA, Alcione Santos de; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511
The purpose of our research is to analyze the combination of the elements of aesthetics and the elements that are proper to morals or politics, as this is done by Friedrich Schiller in his Letters on aesthetics, translated in Brazil, in a more recent version as: The Aesthetic education of man in a series of letters. In order to realize our intention, we will initially make an exhibition trying to show how we can recognize in the philosophical tradition the concern with this type of theme, which makes us go back to the Greeks. In this way, it is with the tragedyographers that we recognize the association of tragedy with polis, in a horizon that links art and politics as the founder of the moral formation of the Greek man, later promoting, in the Letters of Schiller, the debate about the condition of our knowledge in the field of aesthetics and morals. As we can see, when analyzing the question of compatibility or complementarity between the domains of art and moral (political), from the perspective of the author of the Letters, proposing that the reciprocity between the two impulses - the sensitive and the rational, is unified in the man. We will notice that this possibility is what makes Schiller propose the primacy of aesthetic education for a moral formation with a view to the most natural politics, or without leaps, of humanity. According to Schiller, it is up to aesthetic culture to promote the ennoblement of character, since the attempts of reason alone do not present such satisfactory results for modern man. What causes the formation of the aesthetic state, through which we can find the idea of perfect humanity - as it was once present among the Greeks. In such a way, the educated man, aesthetically, manages to overcome the condition of his nature, by the demand of reason, but without completely losing sight of it, since it only gives way to the moral law, as a kind of game between these two domains. Beauty as freedom in the phenomenon is what sustains and shows that morality is a symbol of good - according to nature - freedom. It is in this sense that the Schiller Letters are founded on the idea that beauty seeks to promote the agreement between reason and the sensitive, unified in man, and makes them a complete being, like their mixed nature. Thus, Schiller establishes a moral education for man initiated by the freedom of art, hence serving the political purpose.

This study analyze the profile of men who commit violence against women identified in the news of the Liberal newspaper, of the state of Pará - Brazil, suggesting possible nursing strategies for coping problem. This is an exploratory study of the nature quantitative and qualitative using the statistical method and content analysis of Bardin (2011). Was developed in the Pará Tancredo Neves Cultural Foundation (CENTUR), where 2,190 copies of the newspaper O Liberal were analyzed, in that, 211 notes about marital violence in Pará was observed, of which 85 were published in the period from January 01 2004 and July 31, 2006 (before the Maria da Penha Law), and 126 were published from August 1, 2006 to December 31, 2008 (After the creation of the Maria da Penha Law). In the quantitative approach, it was found that men who commit violence against women are his companions with 25.88% (before the Maria da Penha Law) and 48.41% (after the Maria da Penha Law); are aged between 23 and 33 years with 27.06% (before the Maria da Penha Law) and 23.81% (after the Maria da Penha Law); they exert low specialized activity such as farmer 2.35% (before the Law Maria Penha) and mason with 6.35% (after the Maria da Penha Law). 3.53% have criminal records for assault prior to the creation of the Maria da Penha Law and trafficking in drugs with a percentage of 3.97%, for the years that follow the Maria da Penha Law years. Discussions with rates of 24.71% (before the Maria da Penha Law) and 27.78% (after the Maria da Penha Law) represent the main factor for aggression and/ or death of the woman. Physical violence is the most significant percentage with 89.4% (before the creation of the Maria da Penha Law) and 77.78% (after the creation of the Law). In the qualitative approach five thematic categories were identified: Violence against women is a complex phenomenon; Construction of the identity of the man author of violence committed against women; Major factors that lead men to commit violence against the partner; Applicability of Law 11.340/2006 the newspaper O Liberal; Forms of referencing the perpetrators of violence. Therefore, the prevention of violence against women does not depend solely on their empowerment, but must include transformations from the author of violence. Thus, the nurse plays a key role in the care of this man, as to join forces with other professionals to find a support to work in the education process in health from the authors of violence and their families.

Parâmetros vocais acústicos de sujeitos do sexo masculino antes, durante e após o processo de muda vocal
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-04-12) GUIMARÃES, Michelle Ferreira; SILVA FILHO, Manoel da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2032152778116209
The voice and the vocal ability are different in every individual and in every stage of life. There is a limited number of studies on the vocal quality of children and adolescents during puberty. The aim of this study was to quantify the following parameters of acoustic analysis of voice: fundamental frequency, jitter, shimmer, harmonic-to-noise ratio and intensity. To understand the relationship between the voice and the development of children and adolescents, these parameters were correlated with each other and with the degree of pubertal development in male subjects. Methods: The subjects of the study were 110 males, aged between 11 and 20 years, students from three Macapá schools, where the data collection was carried out. The subjects were divided into 4 groups, 32 subjects aged between 11 and 12 years composed the Group I, 29 subjects aged between 13 and 15 the Group II, the Group III consisted of 30 subjects aged between 16 and 18 years and Group IV by subjects aged between 19 and 20 years. All subjects underwent computer-based voice recording using a unidirectional microphone. The following phonation tasks were requested: saying sustained vowel /é/, counting from 1 to 10 and reading a pre-established paragraph. Then, the subjects were assessed by a physician for characterization of pubertal development according to the stages described by Tanner. The voice analysis was performed using the voice acoustic program Vox Metria ®. Results: The subjects showed the following F0 average during sustained vowel: 223.28 Hz, 249.86 Hz, 122.63 Hz and 127.61 Hz for Groups I, II, III and IV respectively. The mean of F0 during the sequential speech was 217.09 Hz, 246.18 Hz, 117.27 Hz and 123.42 for Groups I, II, III and IV respectively. Shimmer showed increased values for the four groups. Jitter, intensity and harmonic noise ratio remained within normal limits established by the acoustic voice program used. Most subjects were in G3 (n = 38, 34.5%) and G4 (n = 42, 38.2%) and P3 (n = 34, 31%) and P4 (n = 36 , 32.7%) stages of pubertal development. The degree of pubertal development was correlated with F0 during speech (p <0.001) and with F0 during sustained vowel (p <0.001) and this correlation was statistically significant between G2 and G5, and G3 and G5. Conclusion: Subjects aging up to 15 years showed acoustic vocal parameters typical of the childish voice. The decrease of F0 occurs between 16 and 20 years old, but the voice is still in process of stabilization, with increased values of shimmer. F0 is the only parameter correlated with the degree of pubertal development. The last stage of voice change, in the studied population, is a late event in relation to pubertal development.

Questões acerca da percepção sonora de harmônicos: a função das variáveis sexo e aprendizagem
(2009-03) ANTUNES, Deborah Christina; GOUVEIA JUNIOR, Amauri
The aim of this study was to verify the performances of men and women in a discriminative test of sound harmonics perception, and the effect of prior learning on this discrimination. The experiment was conducted using 17 men and 17 women, who were individually submitted to an experimental session with a standard questionnaire and a sound perception test comprising 20 attempts recorded on a CD-ROM. The statistical analysis of the data shows that subjects, both with and without experience of learning a musical instrument, have a difference in performance in the test [F(1.33) = 14.69, p<0.001]. Though not significant, women displayed a better performance in the group without learning, and in the group with experience, men showed better performance. The data show that, though there may be differences between the genders in terms of sound perception, previous experience is ostensibly the most important factor in this type of discrimination.
