Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cartas para Amazônia: convergências entre saberes locais e Ensino Superior(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-07-31) SILVA, Aldenora Pena da; COLFERAI, Sandro Adalberto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9217166268191537Traveling through the various sides of Amazon region is the invitation of this present The present paper. The objective of the research is to contribute to the promotion and appreciation of Amazonian identities in teaching and learning processes experienced by undergraduate students from the North Region of Brazil. In this regard I intend to promote discussions through the convergence between the local knowledge and higher education. The Pedagogical Letters are used in this research as a methodological support for those discussions and to increase connections among students from different realities and different places in Amazon region by reviewing their surroundings, sharing impressions, and identifying themselves in the eyes of others based on differences and similarities. The purpose is to initiate a journey guided by various theories which support this research. The journey begins with the theoretical-methodological proposal by Jesús Martín-Barbero (2004), supported by Deleuze and Guattari (2000) and Passos, Kastrup and Escóssia (2015), such theorists identified in the cartography as a study perspective opened to different views that enable the researcher being part of the research by affecting and being affected by those experiences. Paulo Freire thoughts are present as a methodological tool in the Pedagogical Letters and in the claimed theories of a transformative, critical and emancipatory education. To substantiate the discussion on identity the theories of Stuart Hall (2005), Néstor Canclini (2008), Rogério Haesbaert (2010), Silva (2012) and Oliveira (2019) contribute to the understanding of the confusing ways of the Amazon formation. The discussion on higher education institutions is supported by the theories of Mello (2007) and Mello, Almeida Filho and Ribeiro (2008). It is not possible to develop a research on pedagogical letters without mentioning Wolton (2006), Freire (1985), Amabile (2012) and Paulo e Dickmann (2020) and the concepts that permeate the paths of communication, creativity and intentionality in the exchanged letters. Supported by such theoretical-methodological foundations, we developed the educational product Cartas para Amazônia, which is composed for a) Travel Kit: that brings clues on how the exchange of correspondences can occur methodologically and b) Travel Diary: from the research experienced by me and the students-correspondents and from discoveries and the connections among different worlds and knowledges the final educational product – Collection of Letters – Cartas para Amazônia rises. The exchange of letters proposes to bring, to each of the student-correspondents, the intersection between local and academic-scientific knowledge, enabling a diferente view of their own reality by sharing with others their conceptions of what associates them with this place in the world, appreciating their identity relationship and promoting practices engaged linked with the preservation and appreciation of Amazon.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Centro Histórico de Belém: lugar de história e memória na sala de aula(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-01-29) MARTINS, Lourdes Machado; SILVA, Wesley Garcia Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2125737316069934; MACÊDO, Sidiana da Consolação Ferreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4202561791565993The dissertation Centro histórico de Belém: place of history and memory in the classroom, aims to develop a didactic proposition, to teach history from heritage sources, incorporating the use of local historical patrimony. The experiment was carried out at the State School of Elementary and Middle School Rui Barbosa, located at Rua Joaquim Távora, 408 in the neighborhood of Cidade Velha. For this research, two monuments of the Historic Center of Belém were selected: the Castle Fort and the Frei Caetano Brandão Square, as a space for the development of teaching and learning in interface with local history. The result was considered positive, because a great involvement of the students with the proposed tasks was observed, a fact that favored the learning of the same ones. As an educational product of the dissertation, the third chapter presents the pari passu of the didactic preposition that proposes to be used in teaching history in different series and levels of teaching. The didactics of history used foresees a methodological course in which the teacher will be the interlocutor in dialogue with the students, because it is he who will present to the students the sources that will be used, as well as, guide them in the construction of reflections about the historical patrimony , whose main objective is to stimulate the construction of historical knowledge in different spaces of memory. The students, in turn, will be agents of this research, since they will have the opportunity to analyze the sources directly and, at different times, they will be the interlocutors through the answers that they will find in the crossing of the sources to each presented question, whose objective is to approach the students of local history through direct contact with sources and local themes. The project was theoretically reflected in the debates and disciplines in the first group of the Professional Master's Degree in History Teaching, highlighting the Rüsenian didactics in epistemological interaction with the debates about heritage education. The study of the historical center from the perspective of heritage education is the educational product as a result of the master's thesis that seeks to make the dialogue between epistemology and praxis.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Dança, identidade, universalidade: as danças circulares no grupo Mana-Maní, em Belém, Brasil(Universidade Caxias do Sul, 2015-07) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; COSTA, Lucivaldo BaíaThe article takes an ethnographic approach over circular dances developed by Mana Mani, a cultural group from Belém (Brazil). We want to discuss how the circular dances, a booming cultural practice in contemporary societies, contribute to the formation of identity. We discuss, particularly, the production of the empathic social bond as a factor for the constitution of political and ethical references in the identitarian typification process. Accordingly, we look into how the proposed merger between universal and local is inserted among the contemporary cultural practices on hybrid cosmopolitan senses. We also seek to discuss how traditional dances and musicality of traditional Amazonian populations are appropriated by the group and become communal ideals and values and how they produce political and ethical directions and meanings to the to the local, in his dialogue with the universal.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) De professores civis a oficiais militares: experiências sociais de militares temporários para o magistério na Força Aérea Brasileira (2011-2019)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-08-31) GAUDÊNCIO, Sandra Letícia Magalhães; NUNES, Francivaldo Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4125313573133140This dissertation analyzes the temporary hiring process of teachers as Military Officers, considering the demands related to basic education in a militarized structure. The objective is to understand the process of training and performance of temporary military officers summoned to the teaching staff (teaching and pedagogy) of the Brazilian Air Force - FAB, between the years 2011 and 2019, at Colégio Tenente Rêgo Barros (CTRB). Therefore, it is relevant to understand the daily training of these temporary officers, “the swabs” and the dynamics of a “military spirit” whose scope was determined by internal social relations. The hypotheses raised are that the various experiences of social subjects, men and women who worked in this area, permeated through strangeness, resistance, mediation, conflicts that begin from the selection process to the performance in the CTRB. With regard to the sources, the relevance of orality is highlighted based on the use of the technique of interviews, authorized and recorded through google meet, made with the temporary Officers, their memories and forgetfulness, as well as official documents, newspapers, magazines and photographs. We will seek to understand the entry process of civilian teachers in 2011 who became temporary military and are professionals in the area of Teaching and Pedagogy, considering the demands aimed at teaching in a welfare school and the profile of the professionals who sought to reach summoned and formed for a temporary “career” in the Brazilian Air Force-FAB, the so-called 2nd class Reserve Officers Squad Convocados - QOCON.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Do desmatamento ao turismo: a construção de sentidos a partir da leitura de notícias sobre a Amazônia paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-09-29) MAGALHÃES, Degivane Lima; CUNHA, Marcos André Dantas daThis research arose from the need to search for educational activities that effectively contribute to the formation of the reading subject through reading teaching practices in a discursive perspective, taking into account the construction of meanings of Paraense identity by the student subjects, from reading news about the paraense Amazon. Delimited as the foces o four analysis, two themes that can be seen as dichotomous, they would point to something positive and something negative about Pará, which are, deforestation and tourism. In this way, we will seek in this research to work on reading and the construction of meanings based on readings of texts of this kind, especially those that bring discourses about Paraense identity (s). In this study, we used the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Discourse Analysis - AD of French tradition, especially in the conceptions of Foucault (1996; 2004; 2007; 2009), Pêcheux (1995; 1997), Orlandi (2001; 2006; 2015), Gregolin (2007), Cunha (2011), among others. In this sense, we aim that these students can glimpse what are the main social and cultural references that surround the Paraense identity and how they are processed in their reality. This study was developed with a 8th grade of elementary school in a public school in the municipality of Igarapé-Açu-PA. To make our research feasible, the main methodology used was based on action research, of a qualitative nature. The corpus was formed from clippings of responses from student subjects about the reading of news on the theme of deforestation and tourism; related to the state of Pará.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) É tempo de Preamar. A política cultural de Paes Loureiro no Pará, em 1987-1990(Universidade Federal da Bahia, 2012) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves deThe article discusses the cultural action of Professor João de Jesus Paes Loureiro at Secretariat of Culture of the State of Pará, from 1987 to 1990. It seeks to understand its cultural policy from its main ideological-discursive sources. It also presents a description of the core programs of its administration, discussing them in relation with these discursive matrices.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) O ensino de História e as mulheres negras: contribuições para a formação de identidades negras no Ensino Fundamental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-11-25) OLIVEIRA, Brenda Cardoso de; LOPES, Siméia de Nazaré; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8791203591623509; orcid logo https://orcid.org/0009-0005-4933-1251This study aims to understand how History Teaching can contribute to the debate on black identities with students in Elementary School – Final Years, based on the historical trajectory of black women. To this end, the study is theoretically based on reflections on black feminism, decoloniality, and Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations. The research was developed based on the methodological procedures of action research and carried out in a private school, located in the city of Ananindeua, with students in the eighth and ninth grades of Elementary School, during the school practice of History Teaching. The sources used for the research were the institution's teaching materials, the History contents of Elementary School – Final Years ac-cording to the BNCC, as well as the images and representations contained in the textbooks. As a result, it was found that there are few analyses in relation to the racial debate and the promo-tion of positive black identities, mainly in relation to the historical protagonism of black women. To reverse this problem, we proposed, as an educational product, didactic sequences in History Teaching for Elementary School students – Final Years, who led the debate on race, gender and class based on the historical trajectory of black women. The objective of the educational product is to contribute to the debates on positive black identities and thus enable black students to (re)cognize their historical, racial, social and cultural belonging, and for non-black students, to adopt a critical stance towards racist practices and to promote anti-racist actions.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) O espaço-vivido como lugar de projeto: reflexões a partir de um assentamento rural do Sudeste Paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) SANTOS, Clarissa Vieira dos; SIMÕES, Aquiles Vasconcelos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0471255070027912; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2194-6594This work consists in thinking about how is the construction of space-lived and the consolidation of this project as a place of settlement in a rural region of southeastern Pará. From this perspective it is understood that, apart from the 90's, farmers in southeast Pará emerge as key social actors in terms of influence on the local territorial dynamics, due primarily to their increasing ability to organize and the relative Federal investment in public policy development said. A new field of possibilities opens to the domestic sphere to those who perceive the field as a place of work and housing. In this situation strengthens the discourse of the existence of a possible overlap between the two spheres of action (government and household). Given this we believe is extremely important to understand the multiple logics of action that guide decision-making of individuals who build their daily living space and design strategies as a place to consolidate the project. It is argued, then, that regardless of the existence of coordination between the governmental sphere and domestic farmers in their daily build strategies to strengthen the area as a place-lived project. It is believed that this process is the emergence of a social category that I call here as subject-place, because from a redefinition of the movement and its deliberations outside the framework of possibilities, the individual constructs favorable conditions for their social reproduction and his family. Thus we understand that the way for the construction of development policies that are truly transformative social situation to which they are farmers in the southeast of Pará is the construction of actions from a perspective that allows the endogenous emergence of autonomous individuals capable of reflect on the position they occupy in the dynamic development of its space-lived.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Um estudo do termo “cerâmica icoaraciense"(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-06) MORAIS, Elizabeth Conde deThis objective reflection define concepts related to the term Cerâmica Icoaraciense, from conception to show that the lexicon of a language is susceptible to change, with the innovation of words, just as the term is renewed to express the cultural practice carried out by the community. This analysis uses the readings from bibliographic studies dealing on Terminology, with reference Faulstich (1998), Krieger e Finatto (2004) and Lara (1999), for which matter the institution of the meaning of the new term; texts scientific whose midpoint surveys pottery created in Icoaraci. This approach, interdisciplinary, relies on the constitution of term texts in the fields of anthropology and the social sciences. To endorse the discursive constitution of the term with the identity relation adopted the analysis Maingueneau (2008), since the appropriation of this new form of expression is an appropriation to justify cultural identity with their locus of creation.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Eu não sou agente, eu sou polícia: representação social do policial penal(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-01-19) BARROS, Andressa Regina Sandres Guimarães de; MOREIRA, Hélio Luiz Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3977870273059388This dissertation aims to analyze the social representations of criminal police officers who work in one of the prison units of the Santa Izabel do Pará Penitentiary Complex, located in the Metropolitan Region of Belém. Based on the Theory of Social Representations - SRT -, it is based on questions about the representations of the identity and work of criminal police officers after Constitutional Amendment No. 104, of 12/04/2019 (EC Nº 104/2019). In the research, a qualitative approach was carried out, with a literature review and the application of semi-structured interviews in loco. After EC Nº 104/2019, the legal changes have repercussions on several factors, such as the identity of the criminal police officer, generating paradoxical sensations, such as empowerment due to the use of firearms and, at the same time, the feeling of insecurity outside the prison context. In addition, they reflect on the relationship with work by maintaining perceptions related to prison officers, such as exhausting and tiring work. Thus, it is concluded that the meanings constructed on identity are different, although the meaning of the work is the same.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Experiência geracional e identidade de fronteira: representações sociais sobre o rural amazônico(Universidade Federal Fluminense, 2017-08) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article reflects on the conformation of the world view of a group of young people from a city in the southeast of Pará, Parauapebas, about the experience of living on an Amazonian border. The visions of common sense – on the one hand the promise of wealth and development; on the other hand, the image of crisis and violence – are contrasted by the representations effectively constructed by these young people in their daily lives, forming a generational experience marked by the sensation of transience. The discussion is based on research about the social representations of a group of 38 students of a Communication- Journalism course. For the most part, these students were born outside the Amazon region and experienced the social situation identified by several authors as being marked by the conflicting and transient dynamics that characterize the social processes of occupation of the Amazonian territory – a situation that is often identified as an ontological void. We test this perception by contrasting it with the actual daily experience of young people. To do so, we collect their social representations of where they live, inquiring about how their perceptions of the world and the rural Amazon are mediated by the intersubjective and media tissues that make up the Amazonian "frontier" as a space condemning to the transition and to the eventuality.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) A identidade alegórica em Dexter: serial killers como categoria da identidade pós-moderna(Centro Interdisciplinar de Semiótica da Cultura e da Mídia, 2012-10) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; VILAR, Lucila Jenille MoraesThe article discusses, regarding the television serie Dexter, the role of serial killer figure in postmodern culture. That show, which tells the story of a serial killer whose trouble is to kill serial killeres, produces a reflexivity about the condition of identity of the contemporary individuos. We believe that the serial killer allegorizes the historical condition of the contemporary personality through an evocation of the social dynamics of serial consumption, one generalized social practice in contemporary society and through which social status and identity are resignified and typified.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) A identidade encenada. A produção artística de Belém como laboratório e teatro da identidade amazônica(Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, 2012) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article discusses the social process of production of components and figurations of an amazonian “identity” at the intellectual circles of Belém, Brazil. We interpret this process as a reaction to the transformationsimposed by the Brazilian government’s developmental project. We discuss it using the debate over the typification of identity knowledges and we present our conclusions discussing the role of intellectuals, the question of aesthetic formulation and overall dynamic of typification on the studied horizon.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Identidades e violência urbana: representações sociais sobre o papel do Centro de Referência da Assistência Social-CRAS no bairro de São Sebastião (Abaetetuba/PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-09-16) PINHEIRO, Isane Caripuna; CRUZ, Fernando Manuel Rocha da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1048087637452959; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1254-5601The Albras/Alunorte Project is a Japanese venture located in the municipality of Barcarena, Pará, 37 km from Abaetetuba. In the late 1980s, we witnessed the emergence of the São Sebastião neighborhood in the Abaetetuba municipality due to the concentration of migrant families. In the early years, the neighborhood lacked basic infrastructure and the presence of the state, which contributed to it becoming one of the most violent areas in the municipality, primarily due to the involvement of adolescents and young people in gangs. The insecurity and fear experienced by residents due to the clashes between these groups, along with the segregation and stigmatization of the area, led to the establishment of the first Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) in the municipality. This research aims to understand how the industrialization process carried out by the Albras/Alunorte Project socially influenced the São Sebastião neighborhood, particularly in terms of identity and culture. The methodological approach is qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory, based on the application of semi-structured interviews with members of families who were victims of the gangs, members of families who were part of the gangs, and employees and former employees of the state involved in the establishment and implementation of the CRAS, as well as one of the founders of the São Sebastião neighborhood. The research is guided bibliographically by the works of Bauman (2005), Bourdieu (2002), Costa (2022), Cruz (2011), Harvey (1989), Hall (2006), Koga (2011), Lefebvre (2011), and Machado (2020). Thus, the research demonstrates how the Albras/Alunorte Industrial Complex directly influences the socio-territorial-cultural composition of the population in the formation of the São Sebastião neighborhood. Regarding demographic growth, the São Sebastião neighborhood quickly became interconnected with the urban fabric. However, this demographic expansion occurred unevenly, resulting in one of the most pronounced manifestations of social issues: urban violence. With the arrival of the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) and later the Unified Arts and Sports Centers (CEUs), the contributions of these spaces through the services they provide to the community fostered not only a sense of belonging among residents but also a rediscovery of themselves as human beings and holders of their rights. Gradually, these institutions began to yield positive results, and the adolescents and young people who once gathered to "fight" among themselves started to come together for rehearsals and educational meetings, transforming a territory of violence into a territory of peace.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Memória e identidade vigienses na sala de aula: patrimônio e ensino de História na E.E.E.F.M. Santa Rosa – Vigia/Pa(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-12-17) CARDOSO, Jesimar Miranda; BRITO, Adilson Júnior Ishihara; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5217224392697515; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9072-8956The present work presents a proposal to use the concepts and approaches of research and reflection on local history and historical and cultural heritage in the classroom, aiming to create in elementary and high school students a historical awareness about the relationship of heritage - institutionalized or not - with their experiences as historical subjects, in addition to developing in these young people a self-recognition in history and an orientation towards the practical life of Vigia and its communities. It is also intended that the student himself is able to identify and interpret, in his living spaces, elements (material and immaterial) that, in his view of the world, are characterized as heritage. The research and its practical application with the students took place both in the municipality of Vigia-PA, where I reside and develop part of my professional activities as a history teacher, more specifically at the Santa Rosa State Elementary and High School, located in the same village. The name, which, being located in the rural area and receiving students from adjacent communities, allowed the focus of the work to be directed not only to the urban area, but mainly to the rural environment of the city. It should be noted that the municipality has an institutionalized cultural heritage with which, however, our students seem to have little identification, a fact that motivated the development of this work. As a product of the research carried out, didactic support material was developed, intended for use in classes on cultural heritage.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Memórias, identidades e a cidade: a trajetória de docentes egressos do Campus Universitário de Abaetetuba – PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-09-19) PINHEIRO, Matheus Furtado; CRUZ, Fernando Manuel Rocha da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3145088339944816; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1254-5601The present research aims to understand the social, identity and educational context of the University Campus of Abaetetuba of the Federal University of Pará. The objects of study of this work are the memories and identities of the professors trained by this Higher Education Institution, who returned to this same campus in the occupation of university professors, and the relationship of these aspects with the city/ municipality of Abaetetuba. In this way, our research is characterized by the qualitative approach and use of semi-structured interviews. In this sense, adheres to the methodology of Oral History allied to inductive and deductive methods. The research corpus consists of five professors egress from the University Campus of Abaetetuba: from Pedagogy, from Language Graduation Courses of Portuguese and Spanish, and two individuals linked to the coordination of this institution, who were interviewed between november 2023 and august 2024. In the present work, we use as theoretical foundation the concepts of Memories, Collective and Individual Memory according to Pollak (1989), Halbwachs (1990) and Le Goff (1994); identities in light of theorists such as Hall (2006, 2014) and Pollak (1992); and Cities, from the perspective of theorists such as Agier (2011), Harvey (2012) and Lefebvre (2013). Thus, we realize that this Educational Institution trains individuals academically and socially and during this process, these subjects learn new knowledge, change their mentalities, discover new skills and break taboos in society. However, there are still many difficulties for the advancement of science in the municipality. The campus needs more technological resources for classrooms, investments in student transportation, research grants and new projects development. In this way, academic education can achieve even better results in the municipality of Abaetetuba.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) "Minha divina Santa Bárbara, mãe, venha ver seu mundo": as memórias do Babassuê e do Batuque de Santa Bárbara nos terreiros da Pedreira em Belém do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-11-29) CARVALHO, Juliana dos Santos; COSTA, Antonio Maurício Dias da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2563255308649361; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0223-9264This master's thesis aims to analyze the memory productions of the Babassuê and Batuques de Santa Bárbara performed by Afro-religious practitioners during the celebration of Santa Bárbara’s day in the terreiro of the Pedreira neighborhood in Belém do Pará. The research starts in 1938, using the records from the Folkloric Research Mission regarding the work of Satiro Ferreira de Barros, as well as the traces related to his brother Pedro Paulo Vilhena, known as Pedro Satyro. The career of these two Afro-religious figures from Pedreira marks the beginning of the Babassuê memory thread. The investigation concludes in the present time, with ethnographies conducted at the Terreiro de Mina Nagô Santa Bárbara in 2021, 2022, and 2023. The central question is to understand the importance of the deity Santa Bárbara and the spirit Maria Bárbara Soeira within the Afro-religious calendar, considered by Afro-religious practitioners as the patroness of Mina Nagô. Additionally, it reflects on the meanings of memory as observed through the generations of the saint’s followers, who are key figures in the identity construction of Pedreira, a neighborhood known for its “samba and love” and Afro-religiosity.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nos rastros da “Maria Fumaça”: o ensino de História a partir das fotografias familiares(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-12-21) COSTA, Daniele Barreto da; SILVA, Wesley Garcia Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2125737316069934; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2734-5442This dissertation establishes the possibility of building and using local history from the reading of students' primary sources, such as photographs, as a means of facilitating the understanding of the contents of History. The place where we developed our study is the School Center in Learning and Development Percepcion (CEADEP), where I have been teaching for 12 years. To develop our purpose, we started from the problematization of the uses, from a heritage perspective, of places / objects / monuments / memory spaces in the city of Castanhal in Pará. spaces of memory, we propose to reflect on historical time (past and present) and problematize them as narratives that emerged as stories of the city, from then onwards we glimpse the possibility of bringing about other narratives. We culminated in the proposition of remembrance of the city using sources available in the personal collections of students, who, in collaboration with their families, made available as a solution for implementing the propositional dimension of this dissertation, the Family Portal, allowing the students themselves to assume the protagonism of the stories told. The use of digital tools to publicize photographs made it possible for them to perceive different forms of treatment and manipulation of photographic records over time, allowing them to analyze how to conserve this type of source, in addition to enabling readings of changes and permanencies that occurred in the city, disputes over what should or should not be remembered, social, political and economic conflicts, as well as perceived forms of appropriation and installation of their families in the city, and the care that must be taken when dealing with historical sources.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Propagandas de violência simbólico-regional contra a mulher: discurso e identidade na escola(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-04) NERY, Tatiara Ferranti; CUNHA, Marcos André Dantas da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0195316299643772The present study discusses the speeches produced by students of the Elementary School of Tia Erica Strasser, in Moju - PA, from the writing and reading activities of official publicity campaigns on physical to symbolic-regional violence against women, the example of scalping, common in the Amazon Pará. Therefore, in establishing the relationship between propaganda, violence, identity, gender, discourse and teaching, the main objective of the research is to broaden the student's critical view of the subject and to encourage student protagonism with regard to changes in social relations of a kind. violent and discriminatory. Based on the assumptions of the French Discourse Analysis, more specifically on the conceptions of Foucault (2008) and Pêcheux (2002), and on the theoretical precepts about identity, disseminated by Hall (2002) and Bauman (2005), we intend, more specifically: 1) to reflect on how the student subject is positioned before the feminine theme and the symbolic-regional and gender violence; 2) analyze how students construct meanings and inscribe their social and cultural identities about gender issues from the readings of official advertising campaigns on combating violence against women; and 3) understand the readings of students about the discourse of commercials, to reflect if there is identification, acceptance, reaffirmation, deconstruction or even inscription of their identities in these discourses. According to Foucault (1969), discourse is a set of utterances that belong to the same discursive formation. Thus, analyzing discursive formation consists in verifying the meaning relations of what is said with other words, as well as the discursive delimitations that circumscribe them. In this sense, this research is important to more effectively subsidize students in the process of understanding and producing advertising campaigns, building critical view in students about reality and to fight against violence towards women. Lastly, from the ongoing analysis of the intervention proposal developed at basic education, it was found that many speeches that emphasized women as inferior subjects to men and as violated female characters, made to serve the other and without freedom to take decisions can be deconstructed. Thus, it was also noted that the activities with advertisements aroused in students a more critical and reflective look in relation to their actions and those of others, becoming mainly active agents in the deconstruction of inequalities and discrimination that marginalize and oppress the female gender. and which are historically reproduced against women.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A “terra da liberdade” e a memória estudantil: ensino de História e negritude em Benevides - Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-02-19) SOUZA, Elizabeth Braga de; LEAL, Luiz Augusto Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7967678999713659; orcid logo https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0145-5379This work brings as its theme the teaching of history and its relationship with the historical memory and identity of black people. This is a research focused on the teaching of History, Having been developed in a state public school in the municipality, These people are Youth and Adult Education students (EJA). Dialogues in history classes revealed the existence of an official memory of the city that erases black people from local history. From this problem, We hypothesize that local official memory compromises the construction of a positive identity among black populations. The time frame refers to the date of creation of Law 10,639/2003, until 2023. After these twenty years, we want to know how the school we investigated worked on ethnic-racial issues during this period. To support the discussions and analyses, we brought to the debate the concepts of memory (RICOEUR, 2007; CAMILO, 2020; MISSIATTO, 2021; NORA, 1993), whiteness (SILVA, 2017; MIRANDA, 2017; BENTO, 2022) and blackness. (MUNANGA, 2012), seeking to understand identity issues that arise among black people, from the idea of power expressed in whiteness. Based on this analysis, We aim to encourage students to critically reflect on their place in the context of the identity of the black population of Benevides, shedding light on the architecture of the power of whiteness and strengthening the power of blackness. The research brings with it a qualitative methodology, with emphasis on oral history, in ethnographic research methods and documentary analysis. As a result, We propose the creation of an educational brochure on the history of abolition in Benevides and its reflections in the present, providing another perspective on this historical episode.
